• BURE (8/5): Séjour à Londres - Bon accueil et belle chambre. ́ous avons eu la chance de pouvoir rester garer trois jours devant le pub. Un peu bruyant les soirs de musique et de karaoke, nous avons regretté de ne pas être au 2ème étage. Heureusement, le bruit s'arrête à 23h.

Handdukarna var smutsiga och fläckiga. Extra kuddarna var smutsiga. Porslinet var inte rena. Badrummet var inte rent. Vi behövde byta rum.

Everything you need. Breakfast started at 10 am on Monday due to it being quiet which is understandable. So I wasn't able to have breakfast in.

• William (8/5): - I made the booking on behalf of a friend as I could not accommodate him locally (I live in Kilburn). He was happy with the room and its facilities. It was quite a climb up to the second floor where his room was situated but I suppose the lack of a lift is inevitable in such an old building. He would have taken breakfast with you but the earliest you serve breakfast is 9.30, which was too late for him (and me).

• Lynne (8/5): - Clean and comfortable food was good We stayed in a suite for up to 4 people and there wasnt a mirror in either room just the bathroom cabinet it was difficult for us to do our hair and make up. Bathroom shower head kept falling.
• Ann (8/5): Good value - Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The shower was good (although showerhead needed mending in Room 4). Great to have water and soft drinks left in the fridge. WiFi worked fine for us. The area was very quiet at night on the weekday night we stayed. Sad we had to leave before breakfast was served, but the evening meal was great. Loved the old building and the friendly staff. Would definitely stay again. We were able to park out front of the pub, but there are very few spaces available. Bed linen and towels need renewing. A more generous supply of milk on the hospitality tray would have been appreciated.

• John (10/5): - Stayed in the Kilburn Arms for one night. Staff all very friendly and room was very clean and comfortable. Kilburn is such a well connected place to stay and the Kilburn Arms is in a great location. Simple and exactly what I was looking for. Will 100% stay again.
• Julia (5/5): Viel Potenzial, wenig genutzt - Modernes Zimmer. Das Bett war sehr bequem, das Zimmer hatte einen gute Größe und die Ausstattung war grundsätzlich in Ordnung. Großer Schrank sowie Schubladen bieten ausreichend Stauraum. Kleiner Kühlschrank sowie Wasserkocher und Gläser, Tassen auf dem Zimmer. Handtuch Heizung im Bad. Große Fenster. Anbindung an U-Bahn 10-14 Minuten zu Fuß, Bus direkt vor der Tür. Ab dem Eingang bis hoch in unser Zimmer im 2. Stock hat es nach Klo gestunken. Den ganzen Tag, ohne Ausnahme. Der Geruch war wirklich widerlich. Im Zimmer selber wurde leider nicht gründlich gereinigt. Haare in der Dusche und im Waschbecken, fleckige Oberflächen und Zahnpastaspritzer auf dem Seifenspender sowie dem Zahnputzbecher. Waschbecken fliest super schlecht ab, da halb verstopft. Die Dusche ist super verkalkt. Die Handtücher hatten einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch, wie gewaschen und dann nicht korrekt getrocknet. Beim abtrocknen damit hat man dann selbst danach gerochen. Der Boden war etwas klebrig, wie bei der Nutzung von zu viel Seife beim nass wischen. Die bereit gestellten Gläser und die Tassen waren leider auch nicht sauber, sondern fleckig ggf sogar noch vom Gast vorher. Leider hat die Heizung das Zimmer nicht genügend warm bekommen, sodass wir auf die zusätzliche Fleece Decke im Schrank angewiesen waren. Das Zimmer hätte wirklich potenzial, da es an sich schon renoviert ist. Die Mängel in der Sauberkeit und der Geruch haben uns den Aufenthalt leider vermiest.

Prix raisonnable pour Londres en dernière minute. Je reviendrais si je retourne dans le quartier ! La communication entre les différents employés.

Las habitaciones son muy amplias, bien decoradas, super cómodas y con un aseo privado más que satisfactorio. El desayuno estaba buenísimo, en un comedor muy amplio que a las tardess/noche se convierte en pub musical, zona de juegos de mesa, karaoke... un 10. Nada.

Allowed us to check in early which was really appreciated as we were attending a gig at Wembley. - only a 10 minute walk to the train station - when we got back in the evening we noticed a strong smell of toilet waste when walking into the lobby which you could smell upstairs as well. - bit of a struggle for parking around the property but easily solved.
• Clare (4/5): Just about ok, not value for money. I would not return. - I arrived at 4pm to disorganisation. A staff member( maybe cleaner was complaining bitterly to her male colleague who was looking for help with my booking) that she had not eaten all day and didn't want to help him. Bizarre and unprofessional. The dust in the bathroom was hectic. I was in Room 2, the heated rail for towels was so dusty. The shower doors and surrounds were all water marked so making them look dirty and uncleaned as well. To get those stains removed you have to buy a product that removes hard water stains. The bed sheets and duvet covers were not up to the mark. However the bed was comfortable to lie on. I managed to get one window open a small bit to get some fresh air into the room but the other 3 windows were firmed locked and bolted. The young man carried my bags up to my room but he knew was a bit taken aback by the woman's behaviour at the bar which is where you checkin. The room cost me 150 euro for one night for one person. I didn't feel like value for money but maybe that is London for you. See all of the above. Could be so much better if all staff where more professional, the CLEANING needs to improve. Invest in new pure cotton sheets for the bed.

• Colin (4/5): Room was ok but that’s it. - Convenient where we needed to be Staid 3 nights, two separate bookings secured by credit card. Nothing done to the room for the 3 nights,no clean coffee cups ,no manager around had to speak to some young lad on duty who was nice but felt for him having to deal with irate customers,nothing removed rubbish wise, harassed for payment even though card was on file.

Además, el horario del pub es perfecto para poder desayunar o cenar allí para empezar o terminar el día antes de salir. El autobús se coge justo al salir y deja en pleno centro. Muy bien comunicado. Fish and chips in evening and a full English the following morning. Good value. The photos on line do not represent how good the food actually is. Staff really helpful and cheerful. An odd odour in the stairwell on arrival. Disappeared by morning though.

The Kilburn Arms is shown as a B&B but breakfast isn't included, not a problem but a bit misleading. The toiletries in the bathroom, shower gel and shampoo, appeared to be left by previous occupants and were both used and open.

• David (4/5): Extremely disappinting never to be repeated. - The breakfast described as being very good, cost £9.60 for an overcooked small portion of "rubbery" scrambled egg, baked beans in a cup, and brown toast. I was charged an additional £7.20 for two cups of coffee to compliment the meagre breakfast. In total almost £17 for breakfast served in an empty cold bar room, was slightly more expensive than I usually pay for an exceptional unlimited breakfast in a Central London hotel. I was persuaded to stay in this out-of centre pub ( 1 hour ten minutes from centre in 98 bus) by the promise of a very friendly and attractive bar ( picures supplied). On my one night stay in London, the bar closed at 9.30pm. as it was "too quiet". I was advised by a staff member not to go down onto the Kilburn High Street, as "Things are going on there and fights and stabbings occur regularly. The Irish bar across the road is very strange, they are a close group who all know each other and do not take kindly to strangers.There is nothing to the left towards Willseden". I was advised to walk a mile towards Queens Park, where I might find a friendly pub. This same staff member who told me she was Polish, threw an angry tantrum at her male colleague standing just behind where I was sitting, shouting obscenities at him regarding the performance of the day staff, who had apparently left a sink blocked behind the bar. I was more than disappointed to find that the bedding in my room was heavily stained on the top cover ( photos obtained) To summarise- not particularly friendly staff, with the notable exception of a Spanish day staff member who served me breakfast, who was most friendly and pleasant. The reportedly friendly welcoming bar- was almost empty, cold, and not available to me after 9.30pm, The location was inhospitable being reported as potentionally hostile. The room although large, was cold, with stained bedding. The accommodation was situated on an upper level,, accessed through an external door to the side of the bar, then up two flights of steep stairs,with no facilities available for those with limited mobility. This important point should have been mentioned prior to booking.

A bus stop is nearby, too, to get to central London proper. - While I was a little bit trepid going in because it's over a pub, the room and toilet were clean, even by my Arab standards. • Romain (8/5): PUB ACCUEILLANT DANS LE QUARTIER DE KILBURN - Un pub traditionnel anglais qui offre quelques chambres à l'étage dans le quartier de Kilburn. Chambre simple, dépouillée, cependnat parfaitement propre et fonctionnel. Le pub ouvre tôt et sert tard, impeccable donc pour déjeuner ou diner sur place. Les produits douche sont très génériques, pas de sèche-cheveux. Cependant, encore une fois, la simplicité et la propreté de la chambre est impeccable.

• Catalin (8/5): Good size room - Nice spacious rooms Could use a little more maintenance and better cleaning
• Simone (7/5): Quality price not bad - Beds really confortable, people very polite Smell not exeptional of fried oil coming from the kitchen
• Tsvetan (7/5): - The location was fine. Rooms were of good size especially considering London standards. Bar downstairs is great. More attention could have been paid to cleaning. The place was not dirty, but was not very clean either which left the impression that someone did not pay much attention when preparing the room.
• Mike (10/5): Superb gem of a renovation managed by a professional team - This is my second stay. The owner Costas has not only completed a remarkably comfortable and upmarket renovation, he has also created a real customer facing and professional team. It was nice to welcomed by Evie, the super efficient and super helpful manager on duty when I arrived. The food here is superb; chef is amazing. Breakfast served by very friendly and helpful Anna. Thinking hard ... but nothing
