- Ibrahim (3/5): A Completely Disappointing Holiday - The room cleaning and room attendants were excellent. The housekeeping team did a great job throughout our stay, and the concierge service, along with its staff, was very helpful and supportive. Before our arrival, more than US$100 extra was charged from our card for accommodation. When we contacted the hotel, we were told that they had not charged anything and that the transaction was made by Booking.com, so we had to contact them directly. After contacting Booking.com and providing all the requested details, they asked for our credit card statement. Until now, the issue still has not been resolved. As a Genius Level 3 customer, we were entitled to a free taxi service. Before our arrival, the driver sent us the pickup details. However, when we arrived, she was not there. After messaging her, she asked us to come to the departure zone instead. We had to go two floors up with all our luggage to reach the taxi. After almost 24 hours of travel, we finally arrived at the hotel, but unfortunately the reception staff did not seem welcoming at all. They appeared to assume we were Indians, and the welcome we received was not pleasant. We were asked to pay a THB 5,000 deposit. When we questioned the reason, we were told it was hotel policy. However, this was neither mentioned on Booking.com nor highlighted when we contacted the hotel before arrival. As we had not yet exchanged currency, we explained that we did not have the cash at that moment. The receptionist then rudely stated that they would remove the minibar. We replied that it was completely fine with us. We believe guests booking the hotel’s highest room category should not be treated in such a manner. In any case, as Muslims, we did not require the minibar. Breakfast was included in our stay, but since we usually woke up late, we had breakfast at the bar area instead. On the first day, everything was fine. However, on the second day, we sat there for nearly 30 minutes and the waitress never approached us, despite clearly noticing us. Eventually, we left without being served. During the following three days, the food and drinks we received often did not match what we ordered.

Душевая лейка была плохо закреплена, а напор воды очень слабый. Создалось впечатление, что сантехнику давно никто нормально не чистил и не обслуживал. Главная причина, почему мы выбрали этот отель — бассейн. Мы планировали отдыхать и загорать днем именно в отеле. Однако за 4 дня до окончания нашего отпуска бассейн внезапно закрыли, и никто заранее нас об этом не уведомил. Когда мы обратились на ресепшен, нам предложили ходить в бассейн соседнего отеля примерно в 90 метрах. Спасибо, конечно, но мы бронировали отель с удобствами на территории самого отеля, а не для того, чтобы ходить пользоваться услугами других гостиниц. При этом никакой компенсации, возврата части средств или альтернативных вариантов проживания нам предложено не было. На руфтопе находится индийский ресторан — категорически не рекомендую. Персонал был крайне неприятным, коктейли невкусные, а еду после первого впечатления даже не хотелось пробовать. Также у нас была скидка 10% на услуги отеля благодаря категории номера, но в этом ресторане нам отказались ее предоставлять, хотя я заранее об этом сообщила. Нам просто сказали: “Sorry, it doesn’t work here.” Завтраки тоже разочаровали — однотипные и невкусные. К сожалению, отдых был испорчен, а уровень сервиса совершенно не соответствует ожиданиям от отеля такого уровня.

We only met one staff who was unpleasant, and that was during our check-in. Maybe she was having a difficult day, but regardless, it was an exception as everyone else was really friendly and kind.

- Mikko (4/5): Ok for partying in the heart of Sukhumvit but I wouldn't go here again. - The pool area was pretty nice. Not dozens of loungers but enough even if the hotel was full. Sun was shining directly at least in the morning, I believe in afternoon too. You could get some shade behind the palm trees if you'd like. Gym looked quiet too. The location is ideal if you just want to get smashed on the sukhumvit soi 11. I had my room on the 7th floor and balcony and windows towards the lively street. The sound proofing was non existent as I could hear everything from the street. Party TukTuk bass shaking the whole bed and every motorcycle racing and making terrible noise. Unfortunately it didn't even stop at 2am but instead there was maybe few hours in the morning that you could actually get some sleep. I slept so bad for three nights that I had to change the hotel. I know city is full of sounds but this was just too much. You need to be totally hammered to be able to sleep trough the night. Of course I always try to fix situations like this with communicating to the staff and that's what I did this time too. Answer was that the hotel is full. Nothing else. Not a single effort to do anything about it even when I said that I can't stay in the hotel then anymore. Room was a nice sized and the light blocking curtains were good. However quite a lot of nasty stains on the wall, on the sheets and also some places that hadn't been checked after the previous guests. Left behinds in the safe deposit box and a weird collection of old coffee packages on the top shelf of the wardrobe. Duvet filling was all stacked in to the corners and was not very comfortable. Luckily I had two duvets in the queen bed so I was able to take the other one which was slightly better Balcony was great for the evening sun but there was dangerously broken glass on the floor and the chair was unbalanced. Breakfast was mediocre. There was a good selection of warm meals but nothing else was really appealing. Croissants were greasy and hard. Hair in the toast. The check out process is something that I've seen before too but not too often. You have to wait after check out for the house keeping to check the room. This is ridiculous when you have paid the deposit already and they have your credit card details too. It feels like the last bitter depreciation for the customer.
