- david (8/5): Very good - Good, clean room. Comfortable bed Shower was ok but
Could have been better. The water didn’t run out of the shower head well.
- Allen (10/5): Great place great location will definitely be going back - Everything great staff very helpful Nothing
- Rosie (8/5): -
- Ernest (9/5): - Great location Too many stairs, and stand tub shower I don't like much.
- Matthew (9/5): Well positioned hotel with great staff. - Wonderful staff.
- Bernhard (8/5): A very good choice if one likes a central location and a traditional pub-connected accomodation. - Excellent location in the historic center of Greenwich, charming, "typical english" pub downstairs, rather recently renovated room with "antique" furniture in good shape, friendly staff. The rooms are well separated from the pub, thus we didn't experience any noise from there. Good value for your money. The noise isolation of the windows could be better, as in the morning there's some traffic noise from the street
- Mary (7/5): Very handy location is The Hardy - I was told there was no breakfast so went round the corner and had one I have poor eyes so could have done with brighter libhting
- martin (10/5): REALLY GOOD - ALL GREAT LIKED EVERYTHING
- DONNA (9/5): - The bed was large with a very, very comfortable mattress. Ear plugs were supplied and they did the trick as I wasn't woken up by any early morning noises at all.
Complementary still and sparkling water was provided, alongside a good selection of tea and coffee.
We also got 10% off food and drinks if dining in at the pub. The person I initially spoke to when I arrived made me feel a little silly... I let her know I had a reservation and she asked me what for? I replied for here, at the Admiral Hardy (thinking that maybe i'd gone to the wrong place) and she rolled her eyes. What I hadn't realised is that they have both hotel and table reservations. I apologised for the misunderstanding. When I spoke to my friend who had arrived a couple of minutes earlier, she said she'd had the exact same interaction with this member of staff. We avoided her after that.

- Kass (6/5): It was good but room was smaller than expected with a smaller bed than expected - location great for markets - It was a great location We booked an extra large bed but it wasn’t extra large
- Lorna (7/5): - Helpful, friendly staff. Great location. Rooms were far enough away from pub not to be bothered with any noise - no lift and quite a few stairs to get to the rooms - not a problem for us but would be for anyone with mobility problems.
2 mins walk from tube station and plenty of places close by for breakfast etc - in fact - the out of hours door opens into the market. The shower was temperamental. Stopped completely at one point and the temperature was difficult to control.
- dan (10/5): Great value in a super spot - So central to maritime Greenwich. Big comfy room and very laid back
- Jonathan (8/5): Very enjoyable, especially as we were meeting up with our granddaughter and she enjoyed the pub. - Old fashioned but still with good facilities and clean Lots of stairs and no lift, however we did know that before arrival
- Guest (7/5): -
- Caroline (10/5): - Everything was fantastic
- Ray (8/5): Great short break - great location. Very good value room in an historic pub. the bed was very comfortable.
View of the Cutty Sark from the window!
- Caterina (10/5): - The location, its dog friendly rooms with complementary dog bed 🙂 furniture in keeping with the building’s history.
- Shena (9/5): Excellent location and great stay - Great location, comfortable room, sparkling water, still water, milk in fridge. Fluffy towels, clean, comfy bedding, decent sized room, plenty tea and coffee and biscuits. Excellent view of the Cutty Sark and Thames. A bit noisy but that’s to be expected given the location. Bathroom floor dusty round the edges. Lots of stairs to the room.
- Michael (8/5): - Location, price and friendliness of the staff Non soundproof glazing. Probably a building regulation
- Paul (10/5): - Close to Greenwich Park
The BEST mattress in London by a mile. Amazing
- elizabeth (10/5): -
- elizabeth (10/5): - Clean, comfortable and great view. Nothing
- Kate (8/5): - Amazing location Room was supposed to be spacious with city view but it was so small we had to put our suitcase in the bathroom
- Stephen (9/5): -
- Tracey (7/5): Great location in Greenwich, food was great. Rooms small but functional and very clean - Location, food and cleanliness Several flights of stairs to the rooms were not great for my elderly parents, this wasnt mentioned on the website. Also, we ate in the restaurant twice and didn't have the discount for being residents.
- Clair (10/5): This was my 2nd trip and we will definitely be back! - Staff are so helpful and friendly. Went out of their way to accommodate us. Loved our room. Spacious with a bath! Nothing
- Brown (9/5): Great place for a night - Great location, good room, pint on the house n/a
- Christopher (10/5): Perfect Greenwich experience - GREAT location! Comfortable room, beautiful shower/bathroom. Everything we needed. Would absolutely stay again. Great service
Dommage….
- Helen (7/5): Great location! - Location, good bathroom, nice drinks choice in the room - e.g. tea, coffee, hot chocolate and still/sparkling water provided. Although location excellent, a little noisy above the market!
- Beverley (8/5): Nice room above the pub with a view of the Cutty Sark - Great location
- Melanie (9/5): -
- Vanessa (7/5): - Close to amenities, clean. Cosy, friendly staff. Good facilities available in room. There was no water when needed a shower. Sink tap pressure wasn't great.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Such a great find and even better that there was a Friday night music bonus with a great radio di visit - Great location, super cosy and super clean ! Nothing not to like !
- LEONA (10/5): Great value and fab location! - It was quirky and quaint! Nothing.
- Caroline (7/5): Good location. Better properties close by - Small room. Lots of stairs Room too small. Lots of stairs.

- David (8/5): Charming and central to Greenwich village. - Very charming and well decorated comfortable room. Not a big problem, however there wasn't a lift (not surprising in such a historic building), however for those with large suitcases, you might want to consider this.
- Andrea (8/5): Lovely place, well situated, few kinks that require attention. - Great location and as expected. Lots of stairs and no signage for the stair case we were not supposed to use. Staff said “everyone does this”, but clear not enough to necessitate signage.
Our shower was scorching hot as no cold water was in the mix but staff were able to give us access to another room to shower.
- LINDA (9/5): Good relaxing stay - Staff really friendly and helpful.Location good, close to river.Cutty Sark and museum.Next to market. Only difficulty was the stairs. If you suffer from mobility issues it is best to get a first floor room
- August (8/5): -
- Alexander (10/5): -
- Chris (10/5): - The room was very spacious yet cosy. Only downside is the windows let through a lot of noise from the street, but i still slept well. Location is good if you want to see the cutty sark or greenwich observatory
- Tina (10/5): Comfortable for a short stay, polite helpful staff and excellent location. - Good location, clean and had everything we needed. Lovely view of the Cutty Sark Can’t think of any negatives
- Khadar (7/5): -
- carole (9/5): - lovely manager and floor manager
boutique hotel atmosphere and the best dish and chips ever eaten
will be back!
- Paula (9/5): Authentic - Old world charm but beautifully done warm and comfortable . Quilts on bed delightful (we are trying to find out what type and where from ? )
Would stay again ! On this occasion the nearby train station was close (for the next year) and so the next nearest station 10-15 minutes walk . Also if you have mobility problems rooms are up 3 flights of stairs.
- Frank (2/5): Miss England - Location and charm No elevator
- Steve (7/5): Warm room for a Freezing New Year! - Location was excellent for a New Year in Greenwich. Great firm bed and very clean bedding and shower room. Room was warm for a freezing night by the river. Room was high up and very small, had to pay premium for a New Years Eve of course. Rate was Room only. Was met one morning by a member of senior staff trying to usher me out of the pub area as I was waiting for my wife. Unwelcoming and no social chat... Just.. when are you leaving as the pub isn't open! Was well aware. Was quite amused with the exchange at just how unwelcome a premium paying customer was.
Loved Greenwich and will return.
- Maya (10/5): - The inn is well located in the main area of Greenwich. The hotel and pub are cute and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly nice.
- Stephen (9/5): - Great location cosy room
- David (6/5): Great location and staff are great. Bit disappointed by the smell coming from the drain in the bathroom. - Great location and staff Bad smell from drains.
- Mary (9/5): -
- Sudborough (8/5): NICE APART FROM THE ROOM BEING COLD - AMAZING LOCATION RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO GREENWICH MARKET COULDN'T GET THE HEATING TO WORK IN ROOM 4 SO WAS FREEZING ALL NIGHT !
- Kimberley (9/5): - The location was great. Tea/coffee facilities were great. Lots of stairs but its an old building and understandable. Room was slightly on the wonky but again its an old building with its quirks.
- ROBERT (7/5): Too noisy but excellent location - Location Noise!!!
Noise from the street stopped us sleeping till the early hours
- Jane (9/5): -
- Philip (9/5): Great stay and fine for our needs - Location and friendly staff In our room the shower was stuck on hot & ironing board was not easily found (under the bed)
- Tina (8/5): Great location - Perfect central location. Clean, equipped room. Nice en suite bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small and ours had a sloping ceiling too. Top floor so lots of stairs. Not suitable for those who find stairs tricky.
- Caroline (10/5): lovely - warm and comfortable bed
right beside the market to grab a coffee and explore
great staff n/a
- Siobhan (10/5): Comfortable stay, ideal location for a city break - The room was comfortable and clean, location was ideal (could see the Cutty Sark from the window!). Bed was comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities were excellent, very good black out rolls on the windows, lovely bathroom. Staff were very pleasant. The room was small, we were at the top of the building which required going up all of the stairs, and we could hear traffic and people outside on the street with the window closed, but I usually sleep with earplugs in anyway.
- johanne (10/5): - Was great location, friendly staff lovely building and I had a view of the cutty sark, I have booked again for july One of the rooms that my friends stayed in smelt slightly of drains and had to leave the bathroom window open, think it was room 3, other than that everything was great
- Ajda (10/5): Loved every minute of our authentic stay above the Admiral Hardy Pub! - LOVED the location, which is just above Greenwich market - when you step out of the building you’re literally in the beautiful Market, which was lit with Christmas lights.
We also liked the authenticity of living above the pub, which serves traditional drinks and food and the thematic but cozy design of the room + modern large bathroom. Nevertheless no noise coming from the pub or the bar!
- Currie (8/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): Absolutely Brilliant- top place - Staff so helpful, so happy. Bless the lady even carried my case to the room. Great discount on food and drink if you stay . Fantastic location. Looked out at the Cutty Sark from my bed! Bed so comfy. Lots of nice bits in room like water, biscuits and plenty of teas and coffee. Well done they got this spot on. If you are on a top floor there are a few steps.
- Gary (9/5): -
- Clare (9/5): Excellent - Excellent location, friendly staff . Great pub . Slightly small room otherwise a 10
- Stephanie (7/5): - Excellent location and authentic style. Access to the room by stairs only and 4th floor, no reception so complicated to get in when the pub is close. Room on street side is very noisy.
- Carpanini (8/5): -
- Ricky (9/5): Nice night away in a lovely, comfortable pub. - Good location in Greenwich.
Views of the cutty sark and river from our room.
Very comfortable bed
Friendly, helpful staff Room slightly on the small side with no breakfast option
- Suzanne (9/5): -
- Roger (7/5): Cost of the accommodation was biggest disappointment with lack of breakfast facility - Great location. Staff welcoming and friendly. Good out of hours access. Shower was not designed to accommodate anyone over 6 feet tall. Despite the high price breakfast was not provided.
- Jana (7/5): Great location - Great location for a weekend in Greenwich if you don’t mind a bit of street noise. Close to all the must-see sights and good connection to the 02arena by a bus or a boat.
Downstairs pub serves a nice selection of beers.
The staff were nice and pleasant and quick to serve us our drinks and show us to our room. Expect rooms above pub, next to a market at the back and fairly busy traffic at the front. There were sigle glazed sash windows, through which I made an uncomfortable eye contact with someone on the front seat of a double decker bus :)
The bathroom, although clean, smelt really bad and so did the staircase leading up to the bedroom.
- FIEN (8/5): -
- Debbie (10/5): -
- Mark (8/5): Very enjoyable - Great location.. lovely pub with great food and ale.. nice rooms which were quiet at the top of the building
Would stay here again Bathroom had an unpleasant drain smell
- Beverley (8/5): Good - Location and facilities Someone banging for 30mins at midnight. I’m guessing they couldn’t get in
- Jones (8/5): -

- Taylor (7/5): Admiral Hardy - Hotel was in a good location staff was polite attentive. Enjoyed our stay Only one complaint we where on the top floor that ok if your in your 20s or little older but we are in our 70s sadly there was no lift
- Claire (7/5): Very nice. - So clean and a fun pub on first floor. All very nice. Windows were older so the sound came through. They provided ear plugs.
- Eric (6/5): Central place for what I needed - room on 2nd floor too small - The location is great
Public transport (bus or waterbus) are very good The room is smaller than expected
A work desk would be included - not the case as it is too small and already taken by the coffee and tea maker
Poor noise isolation (cars driving by and hope that your neighbours are a silent type). Cracking wooden floor
The wifi is free but sponsored by Heineken, so personal data required and need to be re-entered every day
- Pauline (10/5): Perfect - Very quiet room, great for a peaceful night's sleep, you don't often find that in London.
