- Christopher (5/5): Nice but only for a short stay - The location was great close enough to the main entertainment and shopping areas that you could walk there. The pool looked very nice but small. I was on the 3rd floor (really it's on two levels above ground) and you could here the traffic early night and day. I asked for a late check out (only two hours) as my flight was in the evening, they agreed but at an extra cost to me which I thought was a bit too much. What they offered for breakfast was not much however, I asked if they could make an omelet for me which they did (plain only).
- ThomasKn.
- Aaron (5/5): - Location and bathroom unclean pool

- Bernadette (8/5): - The convenience to my doctor during a medical procedure. The breakfast was catered to India food.
- ruhan (6/5): 整体不错 - 地理位置不错,但是离BTS有点远 房间没有牙刷和吹风筒,所有的生活用品都需要自己准备,包括洗脸的毛巾

- moinuli549 (2/5): Poor Hospitality and Lack of Basic Amenities - My recent stay at this hotel in Bangkok was very disappointing and uncomfortable. The overall atmosphere felt unsafe, especially at night, due to a lack of visible security or proper supervision.
At check-in, the duty manager, Mr. Y, was discourteous and unprofessional, offering no welcome after a long journey and making us feel unwelcome. The room was extremely small, poorly ventilated, and lacked basic amenities like slippers and toiletries. The bathroom was also unclean.
When I requested a room change, I was told this was one of the best rooms available and that the lack of amenities was “hotel policy,” which was communicated quite rudely.
I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who value cleanliness, basic comfort, and a sense of safety.

- Camper33575110396 (2/5): Horrible experience at Anya Nana - Am currently sitting at the Hotel's lobby and writing this. We had requested yesterday night for a late check out today (by 2 hours) and the person at the front desk had confirmed the same with costs. My husband even offered to pay the additional amount but he was informed at the desk that the payment is to be made at the time of check out. However, today at 12 noon our electricity was switched off and we received a call from the reception saying that we need to check out immediately. When we said that we had sought extension, the caller lady said that their system did not show our extra time booking. Is it our fault that their employees are inefficient and didn't do their job? Upon insisting that we need some more time, the caller lady quoted us double amount for the extension which of course, is an arm twisting way to extract money from travellers. We disagreed and wrapped up in 15 min. Had never faced this situation anywhere including in India, UK, USA, France, Mauritius and New Zealand. Be aware of these scamsters and we do not recommend this hotel.
- Abdulla (6/5): -
- Nasrullah (3/5): - N/A Everything, because I had to pay even using a microphone to warm up food, 20 minutes passed for check out they changed me extra and the room was very small compared to the one I actually booked.
- Anowar (5/5): -
- Chiwat Madsaard (10/5): - فندق بموقع جيد وسط المدينة قريب من المستشفى ومراكز التسوق غرفة نظيفة والموظفين رائعين
- Mahmoud (1/5): -
- David (6/5): - Conveniently close for walking to Bumrungrad Hospital and good value for money. No desk or working space.
- Paktira (10/5): Value for money. - Value for money. Good Services. not far from the heart of Bangkok, so many shopping districts around. Few minutes taxi Pratunam and Central World. -
- Chaiwan (10/5): - Nice room, clean, good services and great location
- Bruce (10/5): - Close to Bumrungrad
- Engr. Ashik (8/5): - breakfast At smoking zone right side corner there are always some garbage.
- Paktira (9/5): value for money - location and staff help full
- Chaiwan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Value for money - A very good experience, the location is very convenient, and shopping is close.
The staff are very accommodating. Room is also nice and clean. -
- Anonymous (10/5): a nice hotel on best location in Bangkok - Very best location close to Nana BTS or highway to Airport, very friendly reception and quiet rooms as well as good breakfast. -
- Ef (2/5): Very poor -
- Jimmi (4/5): Disappointing - The swimming pool had not been cleaned in weeks. Pictures and video taken to prove. Pacifically looked for a hotel with a swimming pool but was unable to use due to it being dirty. A staff member saw me taking pictures and came out to ask what I was doing. He agreed it was dirty and said they have staff to clean but not know where.
- Imtiaz (8/5): - Location is the best, internet price/offer deal was best, breakfast was wonderful. A bit dirty linen as mostly indian clients did not attend to hygeinic living standards.
Two things can make it one of the best, privide iron on demand ir put a set in all rooms and also hathroom flipflops were missing and this made them dirty easily
- Ahsansarawar (6/5): Not very good Not too bad - The hotel has a large reception area with lots of space, friendly staff, and a free breakfast that is good. Decent location. The rooms are small and not very clean, It was necessary to keep the bathroom light on all night in order for the exhaust fan to run and eliminate the majority of the offensive odour. The bed sheets have stains , it was obviously not changed.Without turning up the light, our room is completely dark because it lacks a window.
but you won't mind given the price.

- vincent (2/5): BE AWARE OF THIS HOTEL ... - IT WAS 1 OF THE WORST THAT I BOOKED... First of all we found out that there REAL NAME was not UNICO EXPRESS but ANYA HOTEL. I didn't know why if they try to avoid tax. When we made the check in they didn't find our bookings but after the receptionist asked inside they find it in A File.
But the worst that they can do... when we paid another 800thb for A Half-day (they have in there conditions). AT 6PM They switch out the electricity and tell us that we have to leave. I show here the visa recite that a few hours ago I paid extra for a half day but they insist that for them half day is 6hrs not 12 hrs. WHAT A SHAME. BE AWARE OF THIS HOTEL.As also the street surroundings are not from thailand. They from Arabic countries etc
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No windows, A/C too cold due to small room. No kettle. No hairdryer. Far from Nana Bts.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Air conditioning very old, building old with a bit of an uplift.
On Soi3 that was the biggest problem not a good Soi.
Checked in for 6 nights, checked out after 1 night
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t stay at the Unico Express - Poor service (either staff are not around or they ignore you because they are staring at their phones), room amenities: bathroom - there are no places to hang anything - no towel racks or hooks, and poor drainage, so you stand in 3 inches of water while showering; there is only one power outlet in the entire room (this was a double room) only two cheap hangers in closet. Breakfast is awful, cold coffee and outdoor sitting area is filthy. Favorite response to any questions is “no have”. Wifi set up doesn’t remember your devices so you have to relog in every 15 min.
- Eyob Demissie (8/5): - It was good
- Frank (10/5): - We had a good time at the hotel
- Zaheeeullah (2/5): Not worth for money you pay.. cheated - Not worth for money the get...room was very small..
- Verified traveler (2/5): DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! - 1. Door keys don't always work, so you need to go to front desk multiple times a day to get them to fix it.
2. Front desk staff called me a liar when I told them the key still wasn't working and made me prove it to them, and then they laughed when I was upset that they called me a liar.
3. Housekeeping will knock on your door and wake you up early in the morning to ask if you want your room cleaned. They do not wait till a reasonable time to expect that you would be awake.
4. When I complained about the 3 points above the best they offered was "sorry".
NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
5. The hallways are tiled so they echo. When guests come through the hotel at 2am you can hear them very loudly. When housekeeping wheels their cart and uses loud rustling plastic bags in the hallways early in the morning every room on the floor can hear the noise and it will wake you up.
6. The hotel is in a dangerous area which is surrounded by Arabs.
7. You can smell urine when you walk outside the hotel, it is filthy.
8. The street the hotel is on is one-way and the traffic is terrible therefore good luck getting a taxi or a tuk tuk or anything to take you to the hotel because they have to go around the long way and they want to charge you double for it.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
- Mike D (10/5): lovely new restaurant - all ways nice place to stay
plus has a lovely new restaurant
- ok (6/5): Location not ideal - We stayed here for two nights.
Staff was helpful but we heard some people complaining n about bed bugs. We didn’t have this issue.
Location ok but a bit far from khao san road and temples- we too the boat on the river behind the hotel and taxis.
- sleepless (2/5): Noisy noisy noisy - We stayed in a private room for four nights and we were impressed with central location and room design even though hotel doesn’t look soecuL on the outside or in the lobby. However the music blasting outside from 9 on til 3 am was unbearable to say the least. We were switched to the room in the middle for the last two nights after fighting about it w the manager. Our room wasn’t cleaned though. After asking front desk numerous times about excursion to ang tong National Park we weren’t provided any info and ended up booking the trip outside. We were not happy with this hotel.
- Peter (2/5): - 4 days without internet in the whole building, very young and unprofessional staff laughed at everyone's complaints about it, too busy chatting and looking at their phones. And no English language channels on the TV. You can get much better for the same price. Avoid.
- Sanjay (8/5): Nice renovated - I dint stay but was at the hotel for a day. The new look renovation was excellent. Front office staff were pretty nice in terms of guest relation.
- peter (2/5): Puke. - Poor customer consideration.
- Mazharul (6/5): Not good - Hotel cleanness is not good. Very poor so poor. But overall is good. Not very good.
- Mark (2/5): Staying in a noisy , dirty, construction site. - This so called hotel is a absoulute rip off. A total misrepresentation of what is shown and told on there site. Ig is going throigh major renovation boulding work while guest are trying to have a relaxing holiday. The rooms are old, small, warn out and dirty. 40 years of travel and 100s lf hotels this ks the worst exsperiance lf my life. Shame kn the owners and managers for not informing guest of the construction site which ks this poor example lf a hotel before they happily take your money. I feel Hotel .com has part liability in this fiasco. My tust in Hotel.com ks very diminished. Totally Spoiled my trip to Bangkok.
- Mike D (10/5): My home In Bangkok - always stay here when in Bangkok
- Mike Dickins (10/5): A little bit of heaven - Always a great place to stay
clean and friendly staff
- Verified traveler (6/5): Residue from the renovation not cleaned up - I was given a room which appeared to me as newly renovated which i think in the new wing (I was in this hotel May 2017 but didnt know there is such a wing, so i guess must be new). The room is spacious but the floor was not cleaned properly, especially the toilet flooring as there was still lots of dust, or white cement, apparently residue from the renovation which was not cleaned up. I had to use the sprayer to spray away the floor in order to keep my feet clean and free of dust. Apart from that, this hotel caters to my needs as it is near an international hospital which i need to visit.
- Mike D (10/5): simply the best - Had a wonderful time staff are brilliant
- MD ANISUR (8/5): - A good experience to stay here for good location
- Mike D (10/5): Right in the heart - always good place to stay
- Ashraf (6/5): Price wise very poorly managed place to stay. - Very poor managed hotel without amenities in room. No facial tissue, no waredrop, non cooperative staff.
- Warren (8/5): Room review at Unico Express - Tradesmen repairs in Thailand are rarely up to 1st world standards: they have a temporary feel about them and appearance is less than attractive. This was evident in my room. Bug control in my room seemed to be lacking. Otherwise the cleaning staff were regular and thorough and everyone was very courteous. There was nowhere to sit to eat, write or use a laptop, no clock, no electric kettle and no power outlet in the bathroom. In all fairness some of this you can put down to "you get what you pay for".
- Lance (4/5): Or happy - Check in was very poor took way to long
- S (8/5): Got excelent guidance in hiring taxi and travel. - It was a good feelings to us. We got good cooperation from the Hotel management and service team.
- Nazifa (2/5): Worst experience! - The exterior of the hotel is amazing, but when I checked in my room of (1000Baht) I was horrified. The bathroom, the lighting of the room is disappointing in extreme level. Then I thought that upgrading to an expensive room might be the other way , but it was still the same. The room was big, the bathroom was nice but the lightings were depressing and so dark. The lady who was the manager in the front desk was very helpful, the staffs are very nice but the interior of every single room needs to be changed, especially the lightings which are depressing and makes me think that I am in a hospital. I am never going to that hotel again. I am sorry.
- PREMAL (2/5): Worst Experience - worst experience plz dont opt for this hotel they give worst room to online bookers.
then after a much of discussions they offer better room .
no friendly staff except a person nike. Plz online users dont book this hotel
- Sean (4/5): Cosy room, not worth for money - In short - Nice staff, great location, small room. Was bit dissatisfied with service at the reception though, when asked them to call me a taxi with "meter" they got me taxi that refused to turn on meter. Had to find one over the street. Nearly made me loose my flight!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel rooms and staff - I have visited there on 21st feb and the front desk helped me a lot. and all the staff are really good and co-operative.
- M MAHFUZUR (8/5): nice trip - nice
- Mohammed ali (8/5): its a Value for Money stay - its a quiet place to stay, little away from crowd, i have been going last 2 years. but i would be happier if we have room service or 24/7 snack bar
- Mohammad (8/5): Great location... - Great location,wonderful staff..
worth of money..
- Thomas (6/5): - Room was alittle dirty, pillow and bedsheet had some red stain which I thought was blood when I first saw it. No wi-fi available in room, only available in the hotel lobby. Wi-fi there was unstable (one min it was fast, another min it was slow)
Service was great though, staffs there are friendly and helpful .
Oh, only soap and shampoo are provided in the toilet, no toothbrush or toothpaste. No hangers provided too. Not sure if this is normal for a 3 star hotel.
- Sean (6/5): - Ok for the price.
- Joel (4/5): Not really bad, but certainly better available. - Hotel staff were OK, but not the friendliest I've encountered in my 7 visits to Bangkok. Seemed to be in need of renovation as most of it seemed a bit old and dated. Only slept here so was suitable for sleeping but I don't think I would stay again as it wasn't the most welcoming of hotels I've stayed in and I was unhappy that the staff tried to charge me 400 baht for a taxi to the airport and telling me it wasn't possible to get a metered taxi. I then walked outside onto the sidewalk outside the hotel and immediately got a metered taxi so not sure why I was told it was not possible to get a metered taxi. Nothing major, but just thought they were trying to overcharge me.
- Gur Arie (2/5): dont even think about it - unpleasant.
- William (8/5): Just right for the location. - Very friendly and efficient staff. Small room but good value for the money. Very convenient to Bumrungrad Hospital, restaurants (Arabic, Middle Eastern, Indian, Thai), easy access to SkyTrain stations. We were pleased with our stay and grateful to the staff for their patience and courtesy.
- Pranay (4/5): Ok ok without Ms. Marisa - The hotel is under construction so lot of noise. I paid for extra night and arrived at 5.45 am and was refused check in after pleading they allowed. Then the room was not cleaned that day. After argument they said since I've checked in the morning they can't clean and change torn towels , after arguing and explaining ( all this happened with only 1 lady called Marisa ). That I'm paying for 2 nights and staying for 1 she agreed.
- subas (2/5): worst hotel staff - simply can say poor customer service. i book delxue room got standard room which is like a big size toilet
- Verified traveler (6/5): Standard/budget hotel - Deluxe rooms are okay for short stay
Double check the total price before you book through an online site. You may end up paying higher price than deluxe room for a superior room!
- waleeda (6/5): Hope to see much better next time. - Now a days rooms 50$ per rnight can enjoy free wifi almost in all the rooms.
Very odd to come fown to lobby to have wifi. Better to provide a mini bar.
Better to have a food list in the room with price.
Better to have a note pad and a pen or pencil in the room.
- Jack (8/5): what a deal! - OK this hotel is not for everyone.
I have lived in Thailand for 15 years so I know my way arond.
The staff all speak English and are super friendly.
This hotel is in the "Arab/ African street /soi" .
I was the only white guy there.
I had great breskfast conversations with people from countries that normally would not interact with me.
The food is good not great
I was upgraded to a superior room beacause I smailed and spoke Thai.
arab based cable tv stations
Amazing price!
Will come back
