• Julia (10/5): A beautiful and cozy hotel with amazing staff, delicious breakfasts, and a truly special atmosphere. - We loved everything about this hotel. The staff were very friendly and sincere. There were so many beautiful little details everywhere. Our room was cozy and very beautiful too (we stayed in the Julius Verde room). The view of the Bosphorus was amazing. In the room, there was a kettle, tea, coffee, sparkling water, and still water for free. It was so nice after a long day in the city. There were also chocolates and drinks in the minibar for an extra charge, but we didn’t try them. The bathroom had everything we needed: toothbrushes and toothpaste, a vanity kit, shower gel, and shampoo. The breakfasts were fantastic! Everything looked beautiful, the presentation was great, and the food was delicious. It really felt like enjoying the true atmosphere of Turkey ❤️ We would also like to thank all the hotel staff! Thank you for doing your job with so much care and a big heart! We also met the hotel cat named Zümrüt — she is an absolute sweetheart and such a cutie 🐈❤️ We truly recommend this hotel to everyone! We will definitely come back again ❤️ We loved everything ❤️

Personnel très professionnel que cela soit à la réception, au petit déjeuner ou au nettoyage. Emplacement au top en plein centre et situé très proche de bons restaurants ou de monuments à visiter. Super transfert navette depuis l'aéroport. Je recommande.

Le petit déjeuner est copieux, varié (salé et sucré) et le gérant a fait des pieds et des mains pour me trouver du fromage de chèvre (je suis allergique au lactose) ! L'ensemble du personnel est discret, gentil, souriant et toujours à notre écoute. Nous étions dans une chambre de 3 (adultes) et les WC sont dans la salle de bain, ce qui est parfois gênant. Sinon, rien d'autre; nous avons tout apprécié;

• Dominik (10/5): Ein wahres Juwel in Istanbul - Von der ersten Sekunde an hat man sich hier im Hotel Poem und bei seinen Mitarbeitern wie zu Hause gefühlt. Ein wunderschönes und liebvoll gestaltetes kleines Hotel in einer Seitenstrasse unweit der historischen Altsadt (zur Blauen Moschee etc. waren es nicht einmal 7 Minuten zu Fuß). Man wurde mit Tee und Keksen begrüßt, Tipps für die Umgebung inkl. und uns erwartete ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Bosporus. Und dann kam ja noch das Frühstück. Was soll man sagen, außer dass das einmalig und absolut fantastisch war. Mit so viel Liebe wurde es zubereitet: vor uns standen etwa 15 kleine Schälchen mit allerlei Spezialitäten, wo eine leckerer war als die nächste. Und dazu konnte man noch Ei nach Wahl bestellen. Hier wird alles für den Gast getan und das ist unglaublich mit welch einer Passion und Hingabe. Fantastisch! Alles war perfekt.

Close to restaurants and Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia etc. Front desk staff is super helpful and went above and beyond to help us book tours and taxis etc. Breakfast was amazing-definitely the best breakfast we had during our stay throughout Turkey. Would stay there again. Because it is in the old town-you hear a lot of hustle and bustle. But was much quieter than Galata. Beds were a little on the soft side, but still pretty firm.

• Maximilian (10/5): - Wir hatten mit unserem Zimmer ein kleines Problem nachts, da es etwas laut von draußen war. Auf Nachfrage beim Hotel, ob sie wissen, woher dieser Lärm kommt, gaben sie an, dass der Lärm durch die nahegelegene Bäckerei verursacht wird. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und organisierte uns umgehend ein neues Zimmer. Frühstück zudem Top, Personal sehr nett, Lage optimal,WLAN funktioniert gut.

A great spread, but far too much to eat - friendly and helpful front of house staff - Well located hotel within easy walking distance of many attractions, including the main market - comfortable room (for an additional fee the manager allowed us to check out at 9pm in the evening as our flight only left at 1am) Being constantly harassed by restaurant and market stall owners for our "custom". Detracted from the Istanbul experience - being "scammed" by an "official" ticket seller (to the Hagia Sophia) and charged for 4 tickets instead of 2. Unfortunately I only checked the visa debit that evening (I.e ticket prices are quoted in euro, but charged in lira. The ticket official distracted me upon payment so i didn't check the payment slip immediately ......the ticket official then sells the other two tickets to the next "cash" paying customer and pockets the money ... easy scam!). We later complained to the Turkish tourist board and emailed them all the evidence of the scam, but they never responded .

Breakfast was served Turkish-style, with lots of small plates and eggs to choose from - very tasty. The location was convenient for us as well, we had all kinds of public transport nearby.  - This was our second visit to Istanbul and our second stay at the Hotel Poem. We came back to the Hotel Poem for a good reason. The location in the old city is excellent, within easy walking distance of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia and the Tram stops. But the real reason we love the Hotel Poem so much is the staff. They have always been extremely friendly, very helpful with advise and answering questions, and taking care of any of our needs. We love the warm welcome we get every time we walk through the door. Eren is a true gem. The room was excellent with plenty of space. The bathroom was big and very modern. Also, the traditional Turkish breakfast was outstanding with a great variety of selections and more than enough to eat. We would highly recommend the Hotel Poem for a stay in Istanbul. It’s simply the best and you won’t be disappointed! We can’t wait to return!

• Tarik (8/5): Amazing view from the Hemmingway room, super tasty and high quality breakfast, clean and friendly - - Wonderful view of the bosporus from the Hemingway room - Quality of the breakfast, attentiveness of the kitchen staff - Location, its super close to all the main touristic sights - Cleanliness of the hotel, its super clean Overall very nice Small things: - The bathroom door was a bit annoying and would often not close or get stuck. - We really enjoyed the amazing breakfast but would have loved to see some more meat instead of the same two single slices of sausages each day. - Breakfast stats at 8, most tours for example at Topkapi start at 9, this is very tight and breakfast shoud start at 7 at least. - We had a great balcony but it would have been even more better if there was an option to consume the breakfast on it! - The main street leading up to the hotel has lots of restaurants with annyoing people who constantly harass you to come in for their insanely overpriced food.
• Olivia (10/5): Gorgeous Hotel with Gorgeous Staff! - I loved the fact rooms had different names! Rooms and bathrooms were clean, the breakfast was like having your own buffet at your table they bring you so much food and the staff were exceptionally attentive! (Special shout out to Eren!:)) Not the property but more the location - great to get the tram etc however as a solo woman the street or two over the men were rather full on.

• William (10/5): Pour un séjour romantique à Istanbul - Hôtel de charme impeccablement tenu par un personnel nombreux aux petits soins. Hospitalité parfaite. Une mention spéciale à Arthur et Eren, à l'accueil, comme à tout le personnel du petit-déjeuner, qui est exceptionnellement varié. La chambre Saint-Exupéry, au dernier étage, avec terrasse donnant sur la mer de Marmara, vaut à elle seule le déplacement. L'emplacement est idéal, à deux pas de Sainte-Sophie et du palais de Topkapı, dans la vieille ville d'Istanbul. Aucun défaut à signaler.

When we’re back in Istanbul, this will be our first choice place to stay! The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and filling as well. The location is perfect, within 5-10 minutes walk of many major sites, but tucked away on a very quiet street. Nothing—everything was excellent!

• Francesco (10/5): Soggiorno magico ! - Premettiamo che venivamo da tre notti trascorse in un hotel 4 stelle dotato di SPA e di ogni servizio, e avevamo scelto di cambiare per curiosità di vedere un'altra struttura. Tra i due abbiamo senza dubbio preferito questo, dove torneremmo sicuramente: l’atmosfera era semplicemente magica, a partire dal personale, passando per la colazione, fino al simpaticissimo gatto dell’albergo che ha reso il soggiorno ancora più speciale. Albergo moderno situato dietro Santa Sofia, con la Moschea Blu e il Palazzo Topkapi raggiungibili in soli 2 minuti a piedi. Struttura moderna, pulita e con personale molto gentile e disponibile (una menzione speciale per Herem, ragazzo estremamente professionale e cordiale, che ci ha aiutati e consigliati su tutto!). L’hotel dispone di stanze a tema: abbiamo soggiornato in una quadrupla all’ultimo piano, con una vista meravigliosa sul Bosforo. La camera era curata in ogni minimo dettaglio e dotata di ogni comfort: abbiamo trovato kit completi per l’igiene personale, accappatoi e ciabattine, davvero un’attenzione al cliente che fa la differenza. Un’altra nota di merito va alla colazione, davvero fantastica in ogni sua proposta, sia dolce che salata: tutto espresso e di eccellente qualità. Torneremo sicuramente! Dover andar via !
• Ingo (10/5): Ein tolles Haus mit sehr gutem Service - Das Hotel liegt im Stadtteil Sultanahmet, in der Nähe der Blauen Moschee und mehrerer Sehenswürdigkeiten. Es lässt sich vieles zu Fuß und mit der Straßenbahn erkunden. Es ist ein kleines, sehr liebevoll geführtes Haus. Unser Zimmer war ausreichend groß und erst vor kurzem saniert. Das Frühstück ist ein echtes Highlight. Alles wird in kleinen Schüsselchen serviert und bei Bedarf nachgefüllt. In der Lobby gab es kostenlose Kekse, Süßigkeiten und Tee. Eren und das ganze Team haben sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert. Herzlichen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt.

• Petr (10/5): Naprosto skvělý hotel - Výběru ubytování v Istanbulu jsem věnoval velkou pozornost. Jel jsem tam se synem na 8 dní. Po rozsáhlem vyhledávání, jsem dospěl k tomu, že nejlepší recenze má tento hotel. Mohu poptvrdit, že je opravdu skvělý. Je na vynikajícím a klidném místě. Je čistý, velmi pěkně zařízený. Pokoj byl velmi pohodlný a promylšeně vybavený - když jste potřebpvali háček na ručník vedle sprchového koutu, tak tam prostě byl. Postele byly velmi pohodné a měli jsme moc pěkný výhled na moře. Naprosto úžasné byly snídaně. Byli jsme dva a jídla jsme dostali pro osm osob. Jídlo bylo navíc velmi dobré. Personál byl milý a ochotný. Cestuji často, ale už mnoho let jsem se v žádném hotelu necítil tak dobře. Výborná je také dostupnost k hlavním památkám a i k hromadné dopravě pro jízdu na vzdálenější místa. Opravdu mohu jen a jen pochválit. Dlouho jsme přemýšlel, ale není nic, co by se mi nelíbilo. Hotel je skvělý ve všech směrech.

Персонал очень добродушный, помогали во всем, сами занесли чемоданы на 3 этаж, также и спускали. Локация хорошая, все рядом. Было тепло несмотря на прохладную погоду, отопление работало. Не понравилось, то что нет лифта, с детьми и с колясками не удобно подниматься и спускаться, об этом не хватило информации на сайте, чтобы это учесть. Есть неудобства в плане розеток, как они расположены, их мало. Номер частично требует ремонта, где-то провод отходит, краска облупилась.

В этом отели все совпало на 100% от расположения до удобства номера! Про завтраки уже писали, хочу добавить что такие вкусные турецкие завтраки мы еле впервые! Команда отеля подобрана профессионально! В отели русскоговорящий администратор очень приветливый и готов помочь с любым вопросом! Номера действительно чистые и комфортные, мы жили в номере братьев Люмьер. Других соседей не слышали, наша улица была тихой, сон был крепкий, подушки и матрац очень комфортные и это немаловажно в активном отдыхе. Отметили мой ДР, отель не оставил без внимания! Вернулась бы в отель Поэм не глядя! Спасибо всему персоналу за вашу работу! Получили столько положительных эмоций, а это самое главное!

• EVELIA (10/5): MUY buen alojamiento, y personal … garantizado - Absolutamente TODO. Ubicación, personal atentisimo y encantador ( en especial EREM); limpieza, desayunos, encanto de hotel y habitaciones al presentar cada habitación con temas de viajes y aventuras. Nos tocó la “Miguel de Cervantes” que nos encantó. Solicitamos la habitación con pequeña terraza y fue fantástico. La atención y variedad en desayunos de 9’9. Muy recomendable … de verdad !!! Pues … es que fue todo muy bien …

• Petra (10/5): Eine klare Weiterempfehlung! - Wir sind immer noch traurig darüber, dass wir gestern das Hotel Poem (und natürlich Istanbul ;-)) verlassen haben. Das Hotel hat all unsere Vorstellungen erfüllt. Es liegt zentral, aber man hat trotzdem seine Ruhe. Im Zimmer befindet sich alles, was man gebrauchen kann - von einem Bademantel bis zu einem Bügeleisen. Das Frühstück ist sowohl fürs Auge als auch für den Gaumen ein Traum und wird mit Liebe serviert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hat am Empfang das Sprachgenie Eren sitzen, welchen wir hiermit sehr grüßen :)
