Not everything went fine, but everything was solved in a timely and satisfying way. It was during acts of war in the Middle East with Iran, so this was extra stressful for the staff to keep everyone calm and support guests where needed. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean. Food, pool, gym, all on standard. I would definitely come back if the opportunity arises.

At check-in, I had to wait more than one hour and only received my room after 15:00, despite arriving on time. The situation was poorly managed, and what made it worse was the unprofessional and unfriendly attitude of the female staff member at the reception. There was a clear lack of courtesy and proper customer service. The problems continued in the room: • The elevators were not functioning properly. • The refrigerator was not cooling at all. • The air conditioning system was malfunctioning and did not work effectively. For a hotel of this level, these issues are unacceptable. Basic comfort and service standards were not met. I expect an official response from hotel management regarding these matters. - R4058PYtylerh (6/5): Nice Hotel, has issues - We recently stayed at Rose Rayhaan by Rotana as two couples and overall had a mixed experience. On a positive note, the location is excellent. The hotel is very well situated on Sheikh Zayed Road, with easy access to The Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, making it a great base for exploring the city. The rooms were tidy and well maintained, and we found the staff to be polite and courteous throughout our stay. However, there are several issues that future guests should be aware of. The hotel is 65 floors high, and unfortunately the lifts are agonisingly slow. At peak times, simply getting to and from your room can take a considerable amount of time, which quickly becomes frustrating. The restaurant facilities are not sufficient for a hotel of this size. The dining areas are too small to comfortably accommodate the volume of guests, and there does not appear to be enough staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods. As a result, meals often felt crowded and disorganised. The pool area is also far too small for the number of residents. Securing a sunbed can be difficult, and if you leave your sunbed to go for lunch (especially as the food served around the pool is of a very poor standard), it will be taken almost immediately once your towel is removed. This makes it very hard to relax and enjoy a full day by the pool. The “all inclusive” alcohol offering is also limited, running only from 12pm–5pm, which may not meet expectations for those specifically booking an all-inclusive stay. In summary, this hotel is far too large for the facilities it provides. It works well as a clean, well-located base for guests who plan to be out exploring Dubai most of the time. However, for anyone looking for a relaxing, pool-focused, all-inclusive holiday experience, this hotel would not be the right choice.

All inclusive is unheard of here you won’t get all, many times we were waiting for simple water at the Al carte never even got cups, waited 50 mins for our food and only got our drinks 10 minutes after and had to remind them 4 times. At the buffet there were no plates many of the time and drinks too really long to come also at some dinners there was no food when we had got there 2 hours before closing.

- superref (8/5): All You Need - We stayed here on our way home to the UK after spending time in Singapore. Excellent check in experience with very friendly staff. Lovely room on the 42nd floor where we recieved a cake and card for our anniversary, which was greatly appreciated. Very clean room, serviced by Nicholas who always had a smile on his face. Only downside of the room was we would have preferred a walk in shower. Lovely views over the city. .Every member of staff we came across was so friendly. Lovely selection of food at breakfast. Lovely pool area on the 4th floor with the added bonus of free ice cream at lunchtime. As others have said, the lift situation can be challenging, but with a little patience they were fine.

They were always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. The only downside was the elevators, which were not enough for the number of guests, so there was often a long wait. The elevators are extremely slow, and waiting times are frustrating — sometimes you have to wait 10–15 minutes just for an elevator to arrive. Unfortunately, this significantly affected the comfort of my stay. The washing machine was not working at first. After I requested it to be fixed, it was repaired but then started leaking water. The air-conditioning thermostat is very old and does not function properly, which made it difficult to control the room temperature. Overall, the facilities need serious maintenance and upgrades.

- stfn03 (8/5): Great location- slow lifts a problem - Stayed at Rose Rayhaan By Rotana on 26/12 and 27/12 and again on 31/12. There are so many positives about this hotel, location, staff, cleanliness, large rooms etc but there are two things to take into consideration when booking, shower over very high bath and time taken waiting for lifts. Our room was great in that the two beds were doubles so we had plenty of room. There is a decent size fridge and microwave and the room was spotless. We had a great view of the Burj Khalifa on NY’s Eve and therefore saw the fireworks which was terrific. Every member of staff we met was a great ambassador for the hotel. They all went out of their way to assist us. The downsides for me were the shower over a very high bath that I had to step into, which was very difficult, and the lifts took forever to come and sometimes they were already full so we couldn’t get in. I would only stay there again if I could get a room with a walk in shower and there was an improvement in lift access.

The reservation/front desk staff were particularly unfriendly during check-in and in other interactions. Unfortunately, we felt that because we are Iranian, we were not treated in the same way as other guests, and this made our stay uncomfortable and disappointing. We experienced a two-hour delay at check-in. When we raised our concern, two male staff members responded in a mocking and dismissive manner. Eventually, they said, “What do you want us to do for you?” and offered lunch as compensation in a disrespectful way. Their attitude was extremely upsetting and offensive. Additionally, the elevators were not sufficient for the number of guests. As it was a peak season, the hotel facilities clearly did not have the capacity to accommodate so many guests. Moreover, our room was never serviced or cleaned during our stay, which was very disappointing and unacceptable.

Very good location. The food was oke, quality was good but not enough variation. And espicially on the christmasnight dinner there was litteraly nothing christmas about it, while at lunch i saw that for some other people in a video placed by the hotel on istangram they made christmas cakes and even a choir (probably a video for the influencers to promote the hotel) but didn't tell us anything about it. Everthing was working, couldn't find anything what was broke,so maintinace was very goog.Also was eveything very clean, the pool, restaurant, rooms....but except..the windows.. When we arrived the person at the lobby asked us for an upgrade...same room only higher for an expetucalair view..so we paid lot of money for it.After we paid the person suddenly said, yeah the windows are dirty at the moment because of the weather becauce it rained...maybe he should said it before we paid the money to give us a choice...but then he PROMISED that in two days the windows would be cleaned. We were there 8 days so oke 2 days no clear view, i can live with that....but then after 7 days still dirty windows..and REALLY dirty..the 8th day when we had to leave was the first day with clear morning view because the day before in the afternoon they whashed the windows. At check out they asked did you enjoy your stay..so we told yeah it was really great but we are really dissapointent in how we are tricked with an upgrade and the promises that our windows would be cleaned after 2 days and it only happent on the 7th day so we only had 1 morning in the eight day which we had to check out so it was a waste of money where we spend a lot of money extra because the room was no different, it was only a higher level for better view. The reaction from the reception sorry we can do nothing for you. Then i replied, but the guy at the checkin promised we would have our windows washed at the second day. Reaction from the reception; we can give you some orange juice to go..it was like 10,30 o clock, we just had breakfast and who gives as an offer orange juice!!! I never ever had a situation like that, really bizar. And probably i now get a reaction on this review like we are sorry for that and bla bla bla. No they should have done something at the reception like some kind of refund for what we paid but didn't get. Now we have a very bad memory of the hotel what could have been corrected by the reception but if you are not an influencer ore something they don't care about you. First photo is the view for 7 days, second one for only one morning. We paid a lot of money for this promised upgrade that we could see for 1 hour...really bizar. Would have been 5 stars..now 2 for how the reception treated us with our complaint.

The service was consistently excellent and highly professional. Special thanks to Maidul from the 9th floor room service for his outstanding support and great attention to detail. The team at the 3rd-floor restaurant was superb. Hazel, Mohammed, Jeevan, Shalata, Jamuna, Aijaz, Hussain, and Rahman all provided exceptional service and made every visit pleasant and memorable. I also sincerely appreciate the warm and helpful assistance from Faith on the 1st floor restaurant who always made interactions welcoming. The hotel’s location is very convenient, just a short walk from Financial Centre Metro Station, with Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Metro Station only one stop away. Overall, it was a fantastic stay with amazing staff who truly make you feel welcome. Highly recommended. Kennedy

However, we went half board and the selection of dinner/deserts was extremely poor and REPETITIVE- it was the same food every night for 7 days. Lack of international food and basically curry every single night. Half board had different food options compared to all inclusive and it seemed that the all inclusive dinner had way more variety. Was really unhappy about our experience with the food, it was fruit for us every night!
- tugidu (10/5): Great hotel with exceptional staff, perfect location. Very pleasant family experience - All the staff members were extremely friendly, very helpful and attentive. From our arrival until our departure we did not have a single negative experience and were especially impressed by the hotel staff. The following team members stood out and stayed in our memories: Victoria from Reception and Front Office, Diana and Junaid from Housekeeping, and Eumot from technical service. But everyone else whose names I do not remember was also exceptionally friendly and made us feel comfortable and special. From the valet to the concierge to the technical service, every interaction was wonderful. The contact before our arrival was also excellent. We received quick and helpful replies to all our questions, which made everything very easy. We are a family with two small children aged 5 and 3, and we had a very pleasant stay. The location is great and definitely recommended. A late checkout was arranged for us without any discussion, which we really appreciated. The room equipment is a bit older but still well maintained, and we had plenty of space. The only downside was the long elevator waiting times during peak hours, especially at breakfast. Another highlight was the free parking and valet service. There is a parking garage behind the building that you can access with your room key, or you can simply hand your car to the valet in front of the hotel. Breakfast had a large selection as well. The only thing that could be improved is the coffee and tea service. It might be better as a self service option so guests do not have to wait as long.

- KevMc85 (6/5): Business stay - not great. - I stayed in Rose Rayhaan by Rotana for 9 nights in November 2025, in a King/Spacious room on Floor 19 with access to the Club Rotana lounge. The positives of this hotel is the location and cost for the location is good. I was visiting for work in DIFC and it is less than 5-minute walk to Gate Avenue and the metro is nearby. The room that I stayed in, whilst dated, is very comfortable, clean and in good condition. My housekeeper Judy was excellent and kept my room spotless every day. Thank you! Unfortunately, the negatives outweigh the positives of this hotel. Access to the lifts in this hotel are terrible. On a regular basis I waited 10 minutes for the lifts. I had to build in extra time leaving in the morning to wait for the lifts. After complaining (and repeatedly asking how many lifts were operating) I was told that only 3 of the lifts out of 5 were working for a 72-storey property. Purely for this reason I would not stay at this hotel again, it was unacceptable. Secondly, I was informed that the Club Rotana lounge had a dress code policy where shorts were not allowed which was my mistake. I was refused entry by two staff members and service until I went back to change. Rules are rules, and I complied. When I returned in trousers I was disappointed to see another guest wearing a dress that barely covered her bottom and her underwear showing through her dress. I made a complaint to the hotel about the inconsistency of application of dress code by the staff in the lounge. One staff member was very apologetic afterwards and explained further to me. The other (Goda) did not apologise and I felt was rude to me for the rest of my stay. It’s a shame because the lounge and the food is very nice, but I didn’t feel welcome there after my experience with Goda. This was my first stay in this hotel and will probably be my last. I’ve stayed in Swissotel Al Marooj before which is a similar standard and I thinkis better. If you can get a good price to stay here it might be worth it, but there are issues that I would not want to experience again.

Everything was perfect, from the hygiene in the hotel to the attitude of the staff towards the guests. Although it is a hotel with a large number of guests, the hotel offers peace and quiet. The elevators were fast. Breakfast is varied. The location of the hotel is exceptional, with small markets and a supermarket nearby, the metro, and various coffee bars. All recommendations. We enjoyed our stay.
- lindaa66 (8/5): Great hotel but ... - Great Hotel but ..... This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel recently and it is very good. The rooms are spacious, room amenities great, housekeeping is excellent, the food served in the club rotana lounge is fantastic. All the staff have been courteous, polite and friendly. The location is brilliant with the metro a short walk away and taxis cheap and plentiful. The only downsides at this hotel are the wait for the lifts, particularly if you are on a higher floor. We were on floor 48. Sometimes we had to wait 15 minutes for the lift to arrive and the pool area. The loungers have seen better days and the leg snapped on one while my husband was lying on it. Lots of people were using 2 or more beds each depending on when they wanted sun or shade. There was often people waiting for loungers to become available and staff didn't help move used towels to free up the loungers. This was highly disappointing as we were here to relax. Would seriously have to think twice before coming back again as there are plenty of other decent hotels in the same area

This time booked simple guest room, but by a stroke of luck, got a room with a view of the Burj Khalifa. Room was pretty spacious and clean. Meals were also good, including European kind of food. Hotel staffs were very nice. Augun, who worked as receptionist, was very polite and welcoming.

Unfortunately, the breakfast area is rather small, and you regularly have to queue for a table starting at 9:00 AM. This can be annoying, as can the long wait for the elevators. The shuttle to the beach and the mall is also a bit too small and not always reliable. Overall, we can recommend the hotel for a city break.

- Jet19628984426 (8/5): An elevator problem but a nice hotel - It is a nice and a litle bit older hotel. But that is no problem i think. The only bad thing are the elevators. In a 5 day stay in the hotel i have at least 5 times waited for the elevator for more than 10 minutes, and even 1 time 15 minutes! This is not normal. One time i wanted to get in after waiting for 10 minutes, the people in the elevator got very angry and one woman even panicked and screemd at me that she had claustrophobia and would get out if i would get in. Of course i did not get in and was shocked about what happened! There are 5 elevators and what i have noticed that most of the time just 2 of them i could be used. What is going on there? Is it a bad elevator management program or just cutting on electricity. The breakfast on floor 1 is the best, but you see a lot of arabian food and i hardly see no baguette there. Sometimes they have them. And some whole wheat bread would be nice too. The pool is nice and the beds are nice and soft. You get free touwels at the entrance. In the afternoon there is shade there because of the building in front of it. That is very nice. Overal a good hotel but they have to do something about the elevators.

- SharonP763 (10/5): A thoroughly enjoyable stay! - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rose. The service was amazing, especially considering how many people stay there. The breakfast was great with gluten free options - always handy. The location was very good - very near to the financial district metro station which is one stop from the Dubai Mall. We did the 48 hour hop on - hop off bus tour to see the older side of Dubai as well as the beach area. The bus is air conditioned so it was great! The metro was very crowded - it felt like rush hour in London even when it was a Sunday so we ended up taking taxis which only cost a couple of pounds more - well worth it! It is really worth going to the waterfront at the Dubai Mall in the evening to see the fountain display, it is every 30 minutes and is free but you will need to get there early to be able to see, or go to one of the restaurants and see if in comfort instead. Our only very slight moan was that it could be tricky to get a lift at times. One time we waited for 10 minutes and ended up waling down 15 flights to get to breakfast instead. Not the hotels fault, you just need to allow more time to get around.
- Voyage17122098207 (4/5): Accessibility - Before booking, I specifically asked whether the hotel was wheelchair accessible and was assured that it was. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I discovered that this was not the case. The facilities did not meet basic accessibility standards, which made my stay extremely difficult. I also requested a shower seat in advance, but received no response. When I followed up and asked for any type of chair to assist with bathing, I was again ignored. Throughout my stay, I received no support or acknowledgment of these requests. This experience was deeply disappointing. I’ve stayed at several hotels in Dubai and have never encountered such a lack of responsiveness or disregard for accessibility needs. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure that future guests with mobility challenges are treated with the respect and support they deserve.

- EdGuruRisa (6/5): Not the Usual Rotana Experience - We were there this past weekend to attend a formal event at the Museum of the Future (MOTF). This hotel is decently priced, especially being on SZR in Dubai, and is a 5-minute drive / 15-minute walk to MOTF. First, the service at the check-in process was not what we’ve grown accustomed to at Rotana Hotels. I stood back and waited because one person was assisting two ladies who were checking out, and the other (Rosa or Roaa) was on the phone, seemingly assisting another client; understandable. When she got off the phone, she scowled at me as if I had addressed someone; I had not. So, I informed her that I was trying to check in. She rudely said, “okay”, and shrugged her shoulders. Mind you, I was being polite and waiting for one of them to give me the okay to approach the counter. As we were checking in, two men came from the lift corridor, suitcases in tow. Rosa (Roaa) asked us to step back and let her check them out. WOW! That immediately showed me that my husband and I were not welcome, and our business was not appreciated. No problem, though. We just stepped to the side and waited as she checked the gentlemen out. We were checking in between 11:00 and noon, so Rosa (Roaa) did explain that she would not charge us the early check-in fee; thanks! That night, we came to the lobby wearing formal wear, heading to the event at MOTF. A young lady (long, blonde ponytail; didn’t get her name) asked if she could secure us a taxi. Although we drove, we did not want to drive to MOTF and hassle with parking. So, we asked her to get a taxi for us. We told her we were going to MOTF (a 5-minute drive on the frontage road). She told us it would be 50 AED. Not wanting to (or thinking we had to) haggle the cost, we agreed to pay the astronomical fee. Even the driver was shocked that we were paying 50 AED. The driver of the black Mercedes van said nothing to us. However, he did attempt to drop us off quite a ways from the door to avoid waiting in the taxi line. WoW! Mind you, the taxi driver on the way back said it was no fee since the distance was so close. We did tip him 20 AED, though. Yes, the drive was actually about 12 AED in a regular taxi, and 30 AED, at most, in a luxury taxi. We did walk everywhere else we went; we just did not want to walk in our formal gown and tuxedo, so we paid the gouged 50 AED. I must comment Bonanna! Although the lobby was busy, she remained very helpful, friendly, and professional, making sure everyone was helped and all questions were answered. Although the hotel is a bit dated by Dubai standards, it is very well-maintained and clean. Plus, it’s in an excellent location; right off SZR and walking distance to the MOTF, RTA Metro, restaurants, coffee shops, etc.

The staff at Rose Rayhaan were all so friendly, attending to our needs quickly. The room was kept very clean, with fresh bedding and towels daily. The food at the restaurant was very tasty and a good range for all appetites. One thing that really stood out to us was the receptionist when we checked in, unfortunately we didn’t get his name, but he was so friendly and even upgraded our room to a large corner room with views of the sea and the Burj. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Dubai - 10/10 !

The staff were always so friendly and helpful, which really made me feel at home. The highlight for me was Club Rotana, such a relaxing and welcoming space with excellent service. The team there went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, whether it was refreshments, assistance with work needs, or simply creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It truly made my stay special. I look forward to returning! Highly recommend!

Atmosphere very friendly and very pleasant. Room always clean and tidy. View absolutely stunning, even from 18 floor wire was still incredible. Rooms also quite you can’t here any noise from outside. Definitely value for money. Delicious breakfast every day and all staff super helpful and friendly. Always happy and interested about you. Same with dinner or lunch, food was always delicious and lots of choices. We absolutely loved our stay and had amazing time. Thank you for organised our room for our 9th anniversary. Room was so beautiful decorated and was amazing surprise for my husband. Thank you everyone for that! We will definitely come back one day. Thank you once again for our lovely time.

- andylY2203RV (8/5): A bit tired but great staff - Just arrived back from a 5 night stay in Dubai. The hotel is lovely but needs a bit of TLC! The furniture in our room; 4404; was very tired and some pieces were broken, such as the drawers on the bedside table. There were some stains on the carpet too. The shower was an over bath shower which wouldn't have been accessible to anyone with mobility problems. The screen was not big enough and the seal was eroded! Which caused the bathroom floor to become soaked which was hazardous. The shower itself had good pressure, which was much needed after being out in the Dubai heat for the day! The bed was really comfortable with great pillows and duvet, so we did have a comfortable night's sleep! Sadly interrupted by a noisy neighbour! Not very soundproofed rooms!We did have some room problems on the first day! We had emailed ahead asking; if it was possible; if we could have a higher floor room. We were put in a higher room but it wasn't a corner room like we'd paid for and it wasn't that nice either! Very dark and dingy! We spoke to reception who informed us that they didn't have corner rooms up higher! So they'd given us a normal room which was apparently an upgrade! We beg to differ! We did point out that we had paid for a corner room and we could not be expected to know that the hotel didn't have high up corner rooms! We did get moved to another room which was much brighter, though still not a corner room as they didn't have non smoking corner rooms above the 21st floor! Again something we wouldn't have known. We accepted the room though as it was a lot nicer than the first room. On a positive note the staff were all helpful, polite and attentive, we could not fault them, a real credit to the hotel. We stayed bed and breakfast but probably wouldn't have if we'd known what was available! In our opinion many of the dishes offered were strange breakfast choices! But all countries have different ideas on breakfast food to be fair! The hotel lifts could be frustrating at times, taking ages to arrive and then stopping at multiple floors en route! It probably would be a good idea maybe to have ½ the lifts going up and ½ going down! The hotel is ideally placed, it's close to the metro, which you'll need to go through to cross the road! And there are lots of coffee shops and eateries close by. In general the hotel could do with a bit of a refurb but it's a lovely hotel with fabulous staff and we did enjoy our stay. We would return to this hotel if it had a bit of an update! It's just a bit tired and outdated sadly.

Special thanks to Dani at reception for the excellent service and warm hospitality. The highlight of my stay was the amazing room view of the Burj Khalifa – absolutely stunning, especially at night. The room was clean, well-prepared, and everything was arranged perfectly for a short stay. Even though it was just one night, I truly enjoyed it and would be happy to return. Highly recommended!

One of the highlights was the friendly and professional staff—they were always courteous, helpful, and made sure all our needs were met efficiently. The staff was polite and helpful. The brought us a surprise birthday cake for our son who had his birthday. Everything in the room was very nice. We are definitely going to stay here again, if we visit Dubai again.

The restaurant at the 1st floor was also not good. The waiter told us 45 minutes waiting time and it was mor thant 1 hour and 30 Minutes. When the food came it was cold and dissapoiting. The rest were perfect the buffet in the morning at the 6th flor was perfect and very good.

Our experience with the Buggy ride, Safari adventure, and Camp din - Our experience with the Buggy ride, Safari adventure, and Camp dinner was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end! The entire day was filled with excitement, incredible scenery, and great hospitality. A big thank you to Abdel Mohamed from Mayra Tours, who helped set everything up for us. He was extremely helpful and insightful during the booking process, answering all our questions and making sure we chose the perfect experience for our group. His professionalism and knowledge really gave us confidence and made the planning effortless. The Buggy experience was a thrilling ride through the dunes – full of adrenaline and fun. The Safari ride offered stunning views and an authentic feel of the desert landscape. We ended the day with a beautiful camp dinner under the stars, enjoying delicious food, live entertainment, and a relaxing atmosphere. If you're thinking about doing a desert tour – go for it! It was an unforgettable experience, and Mayra Tours made it all so easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The location is outstanding, right in the heart of Dubai, opposite the metro station and surrounded by all essential services, with beautiful views of the city’s main landmarks. The restaurant offers good quality food, although it is comparable to other hotels of the same star rating. Parking facilities are convenient and readily available, and the rooms are exceptionally clean and well-maintained. I would especially like to thank Mr. Danni at the reception and Chef Gamal at the restaurant for their remarkable service and hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and will return in the future.

- Firoz (6/5): - The check on process was beyond exhausting. It took over 1.5 hrs to check in, as the front desk staff could not find the reservation. We shared our passports, the Expedia booking number, emails, etc, yet it took forever to finally be granted a room. It was a despicable experience. While the hotel is overall ok, the expediency and efficiency of the staff really matters. This must be brought to their attendtion.
