Guest Reviews
- carenc2026 (2/5): Very basic and dated rooms - The rooms are dated and very basic, no iron box, room slippers etc, please don't go there if you want to be comfortable. I paid 140 usd,not worth it at all
- n00rezal (10/5): Excellent Stay, Well located hotel,Helpful staff - My family and myself had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Hotel is found in good location with various shops, Naif souk, Gold Souk, Meena Bazaar and Eateries in the vicinity. Easy transport facilities. No issues encountered during our stay. We highly appreciated Mr Monir, housekeeping supervisor, for his help, respectful and welcoming attitude. We recommend this hotel.

- Masuma (8/5): - Amazing staff
- RAHEEL AHMED (6/5): - Well the property is ancient and hotel is next to Baniyas Metro station. Nothing fancy about the property you get what you pay for . A place to stay.
This bengali Customer service representative was extremely kind enough to check us early we were extremelytired from a long flight.
My friend and I only stayed two nights, cez it suited the needs we had and things we needed to do were stone throw away.
Wifi connection is moderate which was annoying, but i had E-sim connection aswell.
Area around is very crowded, I had zero issues , its mostly african community in the neighborhood. cheap shopping local restaurants are nearby. There are some Bollywood styled beer bars and musical places for your entertainment.

- Mohammad (2/5): Extremely dirty, smelly, full of bedbugs and insec - Extremely dirty, smelly, full of bedbugs and insects. It was not what was shown in the pictures. I do not recommend it even for free. The worst hotel I have ever stayed.terrible in every way possible.
- Helene (6/5): OK hotel - It was a bit too noisy, the door bangs when someone goes out or in in their room and you can hear the people chatting in the corridor when they make their way to their room. The shower wasn't powerful enough. Luckily the personal was nice. They let me check in my room at 12:00 instead of 14:00 even though I arrived around 10.00am
- Elhadji Ndane (6/5): - Good
- Mosses (10/5): - The staff was very helpful
- Simran (2/5): - It was not good
- Nanou (8/5): - Not too bad
- Sam (4/5): - Staffs are okay. Old property. Smoking smell everywhere

- William (6/5): - Staff reception. Online booking changes hard to make. Hard toget to management to help with booking changes.
- Huzaifa (6/5): - Good area. Hotel rooms needs alot of maintenance. Overall good value for the money
- 581matovus (2/5): Unprofessional stuff with bad attitude - The stuff are so unprofessional, imagine reaching at reception and the security ask you to go out. You guys you are racists. Even the duty can't understand the reason why people are in their location. Be clear that your hotel is only for indians and no African will ever come to your hotel instead of insulting us , you are a bad image to Dubai face. This is not what l expected .
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Bathroom plumbing needs cleaning
- FAKHRELDIN (6/5): - Bathroom plumbing needs cleaning
- 636anandc (4/5): Worst Hotel ever i seen in my life. - I stayed in that hotel for 22 days. In these days because of below compliments they shifted me 5 room in each room some of below problem are their.
If we keep calling reception to inform compliments there no proper response. For tourism tax they ask me to pay 20 AED that time i don't have AED with me, only Saudi riyal so i told them later I will pay. For that they ask my passport, after paying 20 AED they will give my passport back. I got shocked last 22 days i was staying there, even around 3500 AED I paid but for 20AED they are not trusting. So i strongly tell who ever read this review not to book this hotel.
1. No good wifi Signal
2. No Cooling in Air Condition.
3. Bathroom lights are not working proper.
4. Water for bathing is not clean.
5. No cooling in refrigerator.
6. TV not working.
7. Reading lamp fixed in beds are not working.
6. No proper door locks.
7. From the bathroom roof water leaking.
- P4957WLchristophero (2/5): Security guards are very rude and talking smell like hell. - Receptionist are very good, but the security are rude, he is talking very arogant and shouting like no manners.
Better you replace security like this.
3am i was there but i was refuse to come again the way they treat guest is very poor.
Replace your guards to sell more profit
- ameet (8/5): Improved - I see the negative comments but it seems much better now. I found the staff polite and the rooms reasonably clean for the whole week I was there. Location is excellent -right across from the metro . Well worth it for the price . Also close to shops and restaurants
- JAMA (4/5): - Nothing I like that hotel. Very noisy, dirty, unnecessary calls front desk phone calls.
- KHADRA (2/5): - DO NOT BOOK!!!!!!!!
I was looking forward to my stay, but it turned out to be a nightmare. The room was filled with cockroaches, the sheets were stained with blood, and the staff was incredibly rude. I had booked for three days, but I couldn't stand it and left after just one day. I filed a complaint with the Department of Culture and Tourism, providing photo evidence of the conditions. I hope they revoke their permit and shut down the place ASAP!!!!
- Tejinder (8/5): - Easy only 2 mins to Metro from our hotel
- 433faheemm (10/5): Amazing stay with great people - Always felt i was at home, bed was neat and the pillows fluffy. Staffs were of great service and breakfast was delicious.
I will always choose landmark plaza for a place to sleep.
Not forgetting the Bathroom which is of main purpose, it was clean and well maintained
- Paulin (10/5): - It was quiet and beautiful
- Siobhan (4/5): - Very tired and run down building and in very poor condition. The interior smelt musty and damp. The sink in our en suite wouldn’t drain and also leaked all over the floor. There was no hot water. The kettle didn’t work and we were on given 1 towel and 1 cup in a room booked for 2 people. The restaurant was closed on our arrival and there was no availability of food. We paid the extra for breakfast, but had to leave the hotel before the restaurant opened and once again no other food was available. The sheets were clean, but everything else was covered in dust or dirt.
I wouldn’t stay there again
- sevark2024 (10/5): excellent hotel - Good afternoon, Administration of the Land Mark Plaza Hotel!
I have been your customer for more than 10 years and I really love your hotel because it is very convenient for me to buy my goods and it is very convenient that you have a basement for goods
But I would like to recommend that the rooms need to be improved and updated, especially the toilet and bathtub, your hotel has been around for many years, but unfortunately there is no good repair in the washbasin, the water does not drain, the bathtub is very dirty and small, and in the restaurant there are plastic dishes and paper cups, I think, and I also need to think about this
But in general, thank you very much for the politeness of the staff and services
I hope to return to your hotel again
- mojdes2024 (2/5): Terrible - We had reserved the Landmark Plaza Hotel for two nights, but as soon as we entered our rooms, we realized how awful the hotel was. The building was old and didn't look like the pictures at all. Everything was rusty and stale. The furnishings looked dirty and had a strange smell. Even the toilet smelled bad and the faucet was rusty. Although it was written that the toilet had been cleaned, we doubted it. The bathtub wasn't white and was also old, and there were cockroaches on the floor, which made the night even scarier. The sheets were dirty too, with shoe marks on them. There were no rugs in the rooms except for a small one between the beds, which hadn't been swept. The staff was rude, and when we complained about our rooms, they shouted at us, making us feel unsafe. We had a terrible night, and we believe that this hotel doesn't even deserve one star. The rate should be around 2-3 because not only were the beds terrible, but the breakfast was also bad. Everything was overcooked, and it was evident that the food wasn't fresh at all. We changed hotels for the second night and asked the manager for a refund, but he ignored us and didn't help us. In conclusion, Landmark Plaza Hotel falls significantly short of even basic standards of accommodation. With subpar facilities, unhygienic conditions, and poor customer service, it is difficult to justify even a one-star rating. Prospective guests would be well-advised to seek alternative accommodations in Dubai.
- Sahi (4/5): - Yes
- Hoda (2/5): Not recommended at alllllll - The room was not clean there was Cockroach on the room and ine day we asked for cleaning the room they told us they are busy , and they are not honest we forgot our charger in the room after we checked out we called them and they told we didnt find it however we are sure that we left it on the room
- Aisha (2/5): - The hotel is dirty, no one cleaned our room nor did they ask if we wanted our rooms cleaned, we asked for clean cups, they promised to bring but they didn’t. All our rooms had cockroaches.
- Aamir (2/5): - Worst place in uae and k don’t think this place should be in uae. Bugs cockroaches are everywhere washroom and even in beds
The moment I saw them in bed I left
Stayed 2 days first day only saw in washroom so I stayed but then I saw them everywhere next day
First room was even worst they had gutter water coming in washroom and they couldn’t fix it so I went to other room.
See pictures if I am allowed to attach
Please don’t book this place I made mistake will never do again
- 448jalal79 (4/5): Poor experience - It was really a poor experience with this hotel. The only advantage of the hotel was it's location , which was a few meters from Bany yas metro station. other than location every thing was below average , no parking is available , swimming pool and Gem are in another hotel that you should walk to reach it . The path room is not well equiped.
- abida22 (8/5): Super comfy stay - Both check in staffs Ranjani and Anagha were amazing. Super professional and very friendly. Their customer service has been outstanding. Super professional with a smile while asssitng customers. Thank you so mch.
The staff is super accommodating. They gave us early check in and also upgraded us for fee to a higher room category. They also put both our rooms closer to each other.
Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.
- TushanB (4/5): Bad Stay at Landmark plaza - Booked and paid for a Stay for 4 nights at the hotel but checked out early . Was allocated a room on the 10th floor. The hotel location is great but the rooms are not up to the mark like before and have worn out.
The toilet is my room was tiny and was very foul. The staff failed to address this concern.
House Keeping came most days around 9.30 am when I was having my shower, obviously I declined and asked to come later. They never did the room cleaning thereafter.
Staff at the reception are also passive aggressive to their own colleagues.
- Nesiba (2/5): - The property need to get professional help regarding the cockroach infestation in some of their rooms. When I reported it to the front desk about the issue they sent one of the staff with roaches spray to my room and they tried to spray it which did little nothing. The issue needs professionals help.
- Temesghen (2/5): - Front desk was horrible. Hotel was extremely dirty.
- Zeeshanark (6/5): Lot's of Cockroaches in the room... - Good spacious room with good location jst 2 mins walk to metro station these are the only 2 good things abt this hotel, the horrible part is u can see cockroaches everywhere in the room even on the bed poor customer service need to call atleast 3 to 4 times if you need anything...
- JAFAR (8/5): Nice hotel - Nice place- center the shopping - near the metro
- Parul (10/5): excellent for a short stay whilst in Dubai - Landmark Plaza is a fabulous address whilst in Dubai - opp. Baniyas Station, it's really a landmark with easy access after a long exhausting day exploring the city.
The rooms are clean and the space is well lit & hygienic.
- 55aishahh (2/5): HORRIBLE. - It was the worst hotel that I’ve ever stayed at. The bathroom was so dirty and there were mold everywhere. The room smelled so bad as well.
The toilet was broken and not functional. The receptionist was rude as well. Don’t go there.
- mohmed (2/5): Bad service - The experience at the hotel was very poor. The bathroom was very dirty worn out and cracked it also looked like it was burnt in the cracks there were filled with small cockroaches and because we couldn't bath so we went to my cousins place to bath and i also had to bring my children and they were disgusted and shocked because we always booked here to stay and the state of the room took my family by suprise there was no hot water in the bath as well. when we were phoning them to help at first for a long time nobody picked up the phone. But only the location was good and everything else was bad. Thank you and please improve landmark plaza hotel.
- Delanoulanje (6/5): Quick review - Great location right at the centre of town. The water in the room though was not hot enough. The workers are good. Mr Dinesh the cleaner was exceptionally polite and diligent. Always available and ready to work. Made sure the room was cleaned in time and neat
- Hodan (2/5): - There were bed bugs and I have the pictures to back it up. Absolutely disgusting and the service was horrible. Would not go back if you payed me.
- ALEM (2/5): - Very noisy, shower and toilet not working properly, not enough room lights, don't like not recording to any one
- HAJI MANZOOR (4/5): - There is no cold water, bathrooms are terrible.
- Mohamed (2/5): - They cancelled my booking without my knowledge very annoying coming after the whole flight
- Adan (10/5): - The service of the Hotel is amazing, also the location is good, close to the shops, restaurant and the staff are friendly really appreciated.
Thanks.
Adan
- Eshrat (2/5): - Nothing.. poor
- Shabir (6/5): Not a good choice - Not a good experience. The hotel is pretty old and badly maintained. There is no parking available and the city parking close-by is always full. Takes 30-60 mins after reaching the hotel to find a free parking spot.
The rooms are not as shown in the photos. Please don’t confuse with Landmark Hotel, which is at a stone’s throw from the Landmark Plaza Hotel.
Bathrooms are stinky and poorly maintained. There is mould and the flush water supply knob was broken. Out of the 3 rooms booked, only one was in good condition. The other one had mould in the bathroom, and broken knob. The 3rd one had a broken window handle leaving the window unlatched.
The staff was good and responsive but they could not do much as the hotels is as is. However, they tried their best to be at your service whenever approached.
All the rooms had unclean curtains.
Not booking again.
- Abdirahman (6/5): Slow check in - Check in took long time and when I was checking out I had to wait again to let me go.
- Nadir (8/5): Was good - Only wifi issues
- Cheick Amadou (4/5): - its okay
- Muhammad Ali (8/5): - It was very near to Metro station, anyone who will use metro in Dubai and want any affordable hotel I highly recommend this.
- Abdul Karim (2/5): - Breakfast very poor internet very poor this hotel one star only
- Abbas (8/5): Perfect place to stay if you want to be in Dierra - The hotel is well situated in the heart of dierra and just a stone throw away from the baniyas metro station.
The rooms were okay although a bit small.
The hotel was clean and staff were friendly.
- Shelly (6/5): - The staff was very kind and friendly and I went out of the way to help what's whatever you needed the hotel is in a very safe area and close to the metro station the restaurant food was in the hotel is really good and very reasonably priced the breakfast that was in who did with my stay was a very good Buffet as for the rooms I would barely give this hotel a 2 star rating most of the rooms could use a good maintenance job to them
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The only good thing is it's opposite metro station
- Vincent (2/5): - Presence of bedbuds (Room 604).
- Verified traveler (4/5): Dirty and poor service - Dirty, Noisy and the photos posted here dont reflect the reality.
The curtain in the shower room was too short and the water spills overall when taking shower.
We asked to change the room or fix the issue. We did that 3 times until they came changed the curtain.
Only positive thing is being close to the Metro station
- Verified traveler (2/5): - They cancelled my booking and would't keep it even when I emailed them. I tried calling internationally form Ethiopia and they wouldn't answer. So when I sent over a friend here in Dubai to pay cash to keep my booking, their only answer was a straight sorry but we can't retain it its full.
So I had to check in last minute at city star hotel, Salahudin road.
- Bakari Ahmadi (10/5): Great location but bad wifi and old bathrooms - It’s great location but internet is really poor I never experienced such poor connection at hotel like this;it’s old model bathroom so they need to update bathrooms and wifi connection as the router for internet in rooms are all on corridor so if you need to get speed you either sit on corridor or go at 2nd floor at reception
- Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient location - The hotel was located very close to the metro station, making it very convenient to travel around. However, more could be done to improve the cleanliness of the room, especially the yellow tiles in the toilet.
- George (8/5): - The gentlman managing my check-in on Nov 4, 2019 around 3:30pm, I recall his name is Rakesh or similar, is a rare expatriate worker who is knowledgeable about Dubai and the emirati culture. Most of the expatriate workers I met in Dubai are lacking in knowledge to explain to tourists beyond their narrow scope of work.
- Jim (4/5): - we alway go to this hotel for more than five years cause of it location to the metro and it basement.
One of it,s three lift had not been working some years now and in pick hours only one lift dose work only.
For the reakfast is had always been the same thing for years.
This hotel has to undertake a major renovation.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location next to metro. Right across the street from exit 1.
- Pure (10/5): - The hotel is very clean and the staff very friendly
The rooms are spacious
The breakfast is well done and a good range(you wont need lunch)
The toiletaries were plentful -lots of soap etc
There were very limited amenities
Good access to the shopping malls n eateries
- Verified traveler (8/5): - the room was nice unique, but there was no spare charging places and
there was not a good wash room
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quiteness of the place and perfect staff to give us such a good service
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The All Hotel should be no smoking free and car parking
- Rafiu (4/5): - Not good
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location and staff, and good for families nothing more
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The bathroom wa dirty and there were insects on floor. No tub and bath area wasvtiny. The toilet was not flushing properly.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Location is good as it is near metro station and shops. The chairs in the room were very dirty and one was broken. The view was to the adjacent building wall. First we were taken to a room where the bathroom was being repaired. Then they moved us to another room. According to Expedia I was supposed to pay
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The location is within walking distance of the popular Deira shopping and opposite the metro station
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Location is good, close to the train station, good option etc.
Cleanliness could be improved, my sheets had stains.
- RINO (10/5): Best location - Great location and very spacious room
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It is vary convenient for transportation and the hotel is so clean and good for business
- Verified traveler (8/5): Affordable - Hotel was good, just a bit cramped and had a washroom flooding issue that wasn’t solved until 3rd night.
- Sayyeda (10/5): - Very friendly staff - Shopping area within walking distance
- Elias (10/5): NA - Very good
- Sabugosa (6/5): Good hotel to stay for real Dubai live - This hotel is located next to the livelier neighborhoods of Dubai, close to the souks and markets. This is where Dubai lives and you get a glimpse of the real face of this city (as opposed to the more modern parts, full of cars and malls).
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing time - My stay here was great. Everyone there was nice and they always made sure u are helped when u have any issue. The cleanliness of the hotel deserves a 9 out 10. The location of the hotel is located at a perfect spot. From there you can easily visit landmarks like the Burj Khalifa and ease to Jumeriah beach. Had a great time there and I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai. It's cheap as well.
- Rahim (8/5): Nice stay at Landmark Plaza Hotel - The hotel is well situated , opposite a metro station which makes travel easy and cheap. The breakfast was quite varied and should suit everyone. The staff was also good. A hotel value for money.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - No power outlets for charging.
- Omar (10/5): Be happy at Landmark Plaza Baniyas - It was a great time and I enjoyed my short stay in the Hotel. Absolutely polite, friendly, close to shopping areas and has a lovely atmosphere.
