The pool and gym also need attention—loose tiles were found in the shallow end, which we collected and handed to staff to prevent injuries.

Excellent service as to be expected from the Mandarin hotel group. Our room had a wonderfulocean view, the garden on the bay, the Singapore flyer and the Marina Bay Sands which was awesome. The room was on the small side for a Mandarin hotel but otherwise could not spot anything else

The location was also so convenient to all main attractions. We can’t wait to return! If I had to fault something (and only based on personal preference) would be the pillows did not have enough support. But it was only a minor thing. Perhaps they could consider a pillow menu.

They were able to get me a hotel room in one of the higher floors and facing the marina. The room was simply beautiful and clean. The breakfast was simply the best. They had everything you need and more. The room was modern and fresh. They did an amazing renovation at this hotel. The shower drain was clogged. However, they were able to fix it right away and without any issues.

We were welcomed by the lovebirds, a cake, and also the impressive view of the Marina Bay Area! Really love the small details that the MO team paid attention to, Akane from the Customer Relations Team even came personally to deliver a card and wishes. Wen En from the Wedding Sales team journeyed with us throughout and kept us assured, including wedding package, customization of menu, handling of vendors, and now the anniversary stay, we are grateful for the help rendered. Banquet Manager Jeggan and AV IC Sathia ensured that the banquet and programmes ran smoothly. Bridal Assistant Alice was very attentive and ensured my wife was taken care of during the banquet. My guests raved about the food, especially the cod and chili crab. Banquet Chef Andrew also helped to accommodate some changes when we requested them. Overall, the MO service has been consistent, we have definitely chosen the right place to hold our wedding and looking forward to the great anniversary stay!

The food is delicious, particularly the lobster bisque Xiao long Bao and Wagyu beef pastry. The service was fantastic. The staff were extremely attentive and courteous. We were impressed by the food quality, food presentation and cutomer service presented by the Chef and service team. Waitress - Jeanie is very friendly and is knowledgable. She shared with us on how the food was dedicatedly prepared and served, making us to crave for more. One of the waitress even offered to guide our sons to the nearest toilet so that we can continue to enjoy our meal. It was our honour to see a young chef with such talented cooking skills. The whole team left a pleasant and memorable experience for my friends and family. :)

From seafood, mains to dessert, everything was just perfect! Last but not least the whole service staff (Ganesan, Allan, May and the rest whom we didn’t manage to get their names) were also really attentive and sweet. Didn’t take a lot of pictures cause the food was too good. Highly recommend to all 👍🏻 (Also they have a little kid’s buffet corner which is the most adorable thing)

The check-in was efficient and friendly (thank you Margaret), accommodation excellent, Haus 65 lounge provided excellent food/drinks with staff who couldn't have done more to make this a memorable stay (Timothy and Debbie to name just two). The pool area is great with very attentive staff. Overall this hotel ticks every box with superb attention to details (too many to mention) .
crystalolol (10/5): 10/10 dining experience - had a great experience dining at Cherry Garden by Chef Fei with my family celebrating my child’s 2nd birthday. they took care of us very well, appreciate the high standards of service. food is fantastic as well, so full of flavours without strong seasoning. the ambience is also great for a cosy family gathering. will definitely be back again!

LizJanet (6/5): Very different experience second time round - We regularly stay at the Mandarin group hotels around the world and love their brand. We have stayed at the Singapore hotel previously but before the renovation and before the takeover of the company and couldn’t fault it. The hotel was amazing and delivered on their home from home mantra. Unfortunately this time it felt very different. The room we were given had several issues so we were moved and upgraded to a beautiful room. That was due to Timothy from the Club lounge who quickly sorted the situation out and really was the shining star in there. The club lounge was a nice space but in a lot of places it was very cold which made it unpleasant to sit and relax. We found the food a little repetitive and rigid throughout the sittings and both my partner and I would often get upset stomachs. We noticed hygiene could be better as the wiping of tables was a bit hit and miss. We tried the main breakfast once and although the staff were efficient and friendly the food was very mass market focused, rather than quality, and extremely busy giving it a chaotic feel. The outside pool was also disappointing. Given the hotel was nearly at capacity you would expect them to have umbrella’s for all the beds but they were only allowed on the beds around the pool making it very crowded and noisy. There was a large area at the back of the pool bar with lots of sunbeds which hardly anyone was using. I tried to use them but it was too hot without an umbrella and when asked for one was refused, so is likely the reason why the area was so underused which is a shame. Overall disappointing visit and not up to the usual standard of the MO which makes us think maybe the takeover has had the influence over the brand ethos and the way of working.

LOOK HERE: If you want a practically worryfree wedding from start to finish, set in beautiful ballroom with a unique led setup, and topnotch food for your guests, MO is the place for you. Wen En (sales) - Professional, courteous and helpful from start to finish. Always there to help and advise Jegan (banquet director) - Absolute crusher of a planner, kept our minds at ease the entire banquet. Walked us through every single process in detail and calmly. Nothing could faze this man Wan (AV) - Human octopus, able to control lighting, music, visuals all at the same time. Zero hiccups. Managed to hit every single vibe we were going for Ke ying (bride assistant) - 5 hours of 'attachment' to the bride, no breaks taken. Always there with hydration, tissues and whatever else needed by the bride & groom, with a smile permanently worn. Andrew (Chef) - Took our food tasting comments back and rejigged the menu to be as per our exact expectations and so much more. It's been a couple weeks, and the food praises are still streaming in. Kudos to the whole squad, keep it up!

We were first drawn to MO for the aesthetics and the food (because priorities), but what really made the experience unforgettable was the incredible team behind it all. Our biggest appreciation goes to Sharlyn, our coordinator, who was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She was patient, incredibly responsive, and always one step ahead - sending timely reminders, answering our (many) questions, and accommodating every request we had. What really stood out was how proactive she was, always offering thoughtful suggestions and little details we wouldn’t have even thought of, just to make things easier for us. Planning a wedding can be chaotic, but Sharlyn made the entire journey feel smooth, organised, and reassuring. We never felt lost or stressed, because we knew she had everything under control. Truly, we felt like we were in the best hands throughout. Thanks to her, we’ll always look back on this journey fondly. We’ll definitely continue to support MO, and Sharlyn is a big reason why we would wholeheartedly recommend them to others 🫶 A huge thank you as well to the banquet manager, Daniel, for his professionalism and efficiency. His clear direction and calm presence kept everything running seamlessly, even when we had no idea what was going on. We quickly realised that as long as we followed his lead, everything would be taken care of 😂 Special shoutout to Jewel, our bridal assistant, who took great care of us throughout the entire day. She was attentive and on the ball - we never had to worry about the gown train or bouquet, everything was just quietly handled. And of course, Chef Andrew and his team absolutely delivered. The food was one of the main reasons we chose MO, and it did not disappoint. We received so many compliments from our guests, and many were genuinely impressed (which says a lot 🤤). Looking back, we’re so glad we chose MO - not just because it looked beautiful, but because of the people who made the whole experience so seamless and enjoyable. HaLinhNguyen (10/5): Great experience for small, intimate ROM party - We had our ROM at Mandarin Oriental and everything was incredibly smooth from start to finish. A huge thank you to Leticia (Events Manager) for making the whole process stress-free and well-coordinated. She is extremely professional and responsive even to our smallest worry. Indra and the banquet team executed everything flawlessly on the day, while Chef Andrew and Chef Tan delivered excellent food that our guests really enjoyed. Special mention to Syafiq and Princess from the front office for their warm and attentive service throughout. We were especially touched that the team arranged a Vietnamese-speaking staff member to assist my (the bride’s) family — a thoughtful detail that made a big difference. Overall, a wonderful experience and we’d highly recommend them for any special occasion.

She stepped in and took over so seamlessly that it felt like she had been with us from day one. To the wedding butler, hui min, thank you for your professionalism and for assisting with the tea ceremony, and gown. nick164 (10/5): My favourite hotel in Singapore. - I’ve stayed at MO Singapore on several occasions and recommended it to many friends, but this was my first visit since their refurbishment. Over the years I've tried many of Singapore's other premium hotels, however the MO has been a firm favourite thanks to a great combination of service, facilities and an excellent club lounge. This stay was enjoyable overall, though there are a few small areas that could be improved. Arrival was surprisingly lacklustre - I had to get out of the taxi and walk to the porter desk to request assistance. The guest room (club room with views of the bay) was beautifully appointed, calming in its decor, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable, giving me a perfect nights’ sleep. Oddly, there were no umbrellas in the room, which is a real oversight given Singapore’s climate. The pool area is a real asset, with a wide choice of loungers (shaded and sunny) and cabanas, with the call buttons for service being a great feature. The poolside dining was limited for vegetarians, and the pool washrooms had no hand towels or dryers. Breakfast in the main restaurant offered a wide selection but was extremely noisy - an issue pre-refurbishment too, and it’s disappointing the renovation didn’t include more soft furnishings to help address it. With so many dining options in Singapore, I dined out most evenings. I did order room service on one evening (vegetarian options again very limited) - opting for a pizza, it was disappointingly undercooked. Haus 65 (their club lounge) is the jewel in the crown of this property. The professional, friendly and attentive service the staff provide is second to none, and their ability to remember guest names and drink preferences after one visit is genuinely impressive. A particular thanks to the young gentleman at the front desk for being so welcoming and the young lady who arranged for my luggage strap to be repaired. The courtesy car for short rides is another excellent benefit. Breakfast in the lounge was relaxed with great service. Evening canapés would benefit from having an extended range of vegetarian options. In all, a very enjoyable stay. A few tweaks to the arrival experience and dining would make it exceptional.

Amazing service - from reception through to the porters we couldn’t fault them. Ich bekam sogar eine kleine Überraschung zu meinem Geburtstag aufs Zimmer. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer, eines davon roch etwas muffig, vielleicht war es auch die Feuchtigkeit, die reinkroch, weil es den ganzen Tag geregnet hatte. Und die Lobby ist etwas ungemütlich, was aber anders Architektur mit dem Fahrstuhl-Schacht liegt, der sich durch die gesamte Höhe des Hotels innen zieht.

As we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, we were especially touched by the thoughtful personal touches arranged for us—an anniversary card, cake, and a lovely welcome gift. As long-time fans of Mandarin Oriental, these details meant a great deal and made the occasion even more special. What truly sets this hotel apart is the level of customer service. It is, without question, the best we have experienced. Every member of staff we encountered—from housekeeping to concierge to the hotel driver—was friendly, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable. There is a genuine warmth and professionalism throughout the entire team. The club lounge was another highlight of our stay. The food offering was exceptional throughout the day, with a fantastic selection that was both high quality and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast, afternoon tea, or evening canapés, everything felt thoughtfully curated and elevated the overall experience. We would particularly like to thank the team at Haus 65. Jaya, Ena, Christina, Timothy, Britney, and Tricia all provided outstanding service during our stay. A special mention must go to Tricia, whose bubbly and positive personality made us feel like part of the Haus family. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to Sera, who coordinates the club lounge with such ease and professionalism. From the moment we checked in, she made us feel welcomed and completely at home. This was, without a doubt, our best hotel experience, and we are already looking forward to returning.

WEN SHENG (9/5): Perfect family staycation - My kids love this room, especially with the in-room slide. The design and structure of room is perfectly for family and significantly reduced chance of conflicts between siblings while keeping privacy to parents. Dolce Vita is another perfect restaurant we visited, not only the quality food, but also the atmosphere and the most important staff there. Front desk looks understaffed and the waiting time for checking in (on Friday) and out (Sunday) could be further improved.
