J'ai du changer de chambre, la seconde était un peu moins agréable (plus petite et pas de fenêtre) mais toujours confortable, très bien équipée et très propre (et surtout bien chauffée!). Le café et les petit gâteau à l'accueil! Personnel très compréhensif. J'ai eu un souci de chauffage dans ma chambre, j'ai du changer de chambre mais ca a pu être fait dans la journée grâce à l'équipe sur place

• clix (7/5): Agréable, le nécessaire pour quelques jours 👍🏾 - Emplacement top ! Pour une personne la chambre est assez grande t la salle de bain est agréable ! Le prix = strict minimum. Moi je trouve cela bien si l’on passe nos journées dehors à visiter New York. Il y a frigo et micro-ondes. Le manque peut être d’un porte manteau. Les lits et têtes de lits bouge beaucoup. Et surtout le conduit de chaud qui chauffe la chambre comme un sauna obligé d’utiliser la clime même en pleines hiver.

And the location was great, in Midtown, literally in the middle of everything and a manageable walk from the subway Pretty tight quarters, though we were expecting that so no problem. Oh, and a little accessory table wasn’t put together right so would fall over if you bumped into it

The bathroom soaps and moisturizer were no longer attached and that gave it a feeling of a lack of hospitality. Also, there were no elevators and we were on the 4th floor.

• Douglas (5/5): - Location was good the place was clean and tidy staff friendly I wish I took my gym gear, not knowing I’d have to do a 20 min stair climb with my luggage to the top floor.. the room was small but nice, a safe a fridge all the good stuff… the shower how ever.. the water pressure was lower than my standards after 10 pints.. I had to run around it into to get wet. There’s also no keys so the place is like an escape room good luck figuring that out when you stumble back.

Le deuxième lit n’est pas un lit mais un tout petit clic clac. La propreté laisse à désirer. Les chambres de rez de chaussée très bruyante il y a un bar au sous sol du coup on entend la musique et les gens parler.

The room itself was very functional and well thought out, especially for how small New York rooms can be. The bathroom was excellent, and loved being able to open the windows to let fresh air in! The staff was a little abrasive at first as well as the morning of check out, but otherwise they were pretty helpful. The room was really hot right at the start and we didn’t see a way to control the air from the room itself, but being able to open the windows helped immensely.

• Iria (6/5): Cómoda estancia en Chelsea Inn - La ubicación es excelente; tiene paradas de metro muy cerca y en 20 minutos o menos te plantas en cualquier punto de Nueva York. Además, la habitación resultó ser más acogedora de lo que esperábamos por las fotos. Nos llevamos una grata sorpresa al tener una ventana que permitía ventilar bien y disfrutar de las vistas desde el quinto piso. Éramos conscientes de que no había ascensor y no tuvimos problema con los cinco tramos de escaleras, aunque lógicamente resulta algo incómodo. Lo que sí nos decepcionó fue no tener servicio de limpieza en toda una semana; tuvimos que encargarnos nosotros mismos. Por otro lado, las tuberías hacen mucho ruido por la noche; de hecho, tuvimos que apagar el radiador para poder descansar sin sobresaltos. Por último, la plataforma de check-in externo no nos transmitió seguridad en cuanto a la protección de datos bancarios, algo que creo que deberían mejorar.

• Daniel (9/5): Excellent location. Charming building. Responsive and professional staff. - Location is the biggest positive. Room was as advertised. Heater during winter kept the room warm and comfortable. My room was on the 5th floor. When booking I don't recall reading this was a walk-up with no elevator. Therefore after a long day of travel, it was a challenge to haul my two bags up 78 steps (including steps for stoop). The staircase is narrow and steep. But, one could look at the positive, the stairs provided a welcome mini cardio opportunity.

• Gabriel (7/5): Alojamiento seguro y bien ubicado en Manhattan - La ubicación para nosotros fue lo mejor del Chelsea Inn. Tiene estaciones de metro cerca que te permiten moverte por todo Manhattan. Incluso caminando 15-20 minutos puedes llegar a zonas de interés. Por otro lado, algo que nos preocupaba era la seguridad de los alrededores del alojamiento y nos hemos sentido seguros en todo momento, incluso los días que llegábamos a las 11/12 pm. Como punto positivo mencionar también la buena disposición de los chicos para ayudarnos en todo lo que pudieron. Nos ayudaron a subir las maletas a la habitación, nos guardaron el equipaje durante unas horas tras el check-out… Sin ser defectos fatales, comentaría lo siguiente: - La temperatura: demasiado elevada para nuestro gusto. Pasábamos de 0 grados fuera a 27 dentro. Además en la habitación había una tubería caliente que desprendía mucho calor. - El ruido: tanto de dentro del hotel (por el poco aislamiento acústico de las paredes) como de fuera del mismo (hay un local de ambiente adyacente y nosotros escuchábamos la música antes de dormir). - Limpieza: en nuestro caso nos quedamos 11 noches y echamos de menos que al menos el cambio de toallas cada 2/3días y la reposición de amenities no fuese un servicio incluido en el precio… (no pedimos una limpieza diaria de la habitación, pero si nos hubiese gustado unos mínimos).

Estaba limpio y el personal es amable La cama no era muy cómoda y la habitación pequeña. No tiene ascensor por lo que depende que cual sea el tamaño tu equipaje es un poco difíci subirlo

• David Esteban (8/5): - The staff was really nice and the location it's pretty convenient, there are a lot of near nice places, stores, coffee shops. And if you need to go to somewhere far there are a lot of subway stations around the area. No need for check in/check out long waiting times, everything is with codes and it gives a lot of flexibility. The bed sounds a lot and there is a lot of noise from other rooms and the halls (everytime someone is walking near to your room, going up from the stairs, you will listen the steps, and you can hear the persons that are in close rooms. I mean, it's fine, and it makes sense because of the space and the construction of the building but it could be annoying sometimes). It doesn't have an elevator.

• Clémentine (6/5): Emplacement génial, confort et chauffage à revoir. - L'emplacement était top, dans le quartier de Chelsea entre la 5 et 6ième Avenue avec beaucoup de commerces, restaurants à proximité. Des stations de métro desservants de grandes lignes sont aussi proche de l'hébergement. Le confort de la literie et la gestion de la température dans la chambre n'était pas top. Il faisait excessivement chaud dans la chambre et pas moyen de régler le chauffage directement nous devions gérer avec la clim. De plus le chauffage faisait du bruit quand il se mettait en route.
