• HPSK (7/5): まあまあよかったかな・・・ - とても便利なロケーションにあり、毎日の行動拠点として役に立った。アクロポリスに行くのに便利だし、近くに手ごろなレストランがいくつもあった。バスルームはタブもあり、シャワーも使いやすかった。 二つ大きな問題があった。一つは夜間の騒音。大通りに面しており、窓の防音が不完全なためバイクの音がうるさくて慣れるまで安眠を妨げられた。もう一つはこの時期（３月）空調が暖房になっており、部屋が暑くて温度を下げたくてもクーラーにならないこと。出かけるときに窓を開けて部屋の温度を下げる工夫をしたが、帰って閉めるとすぐに温度が上がってしまう。

• Grice-Fearing (8/5): Three day stay, good location, not great shower, good buffet breakfast - As part of a group of 21 people on a 2 1/2 week trip/cruise to Greece, we spent our first three nights here staying in Athens. The rooms are quite small, and the heat was a little eclectic. We had a view of an alley behind us. Breakfast was good, not great, with plenty to choose from, but lacking in fresh fruit. Coffee was excellent. The elevator is extremely tiny, only holding four people at most at one time. We use the stairs the entire time we were here. Be sure to bring your washcloth when you stay here, as we unfortunately forgot ours, forgetting that Europe does not use washcloths.

• MHTQ1 (10/5): Comfortable and clean in good location - Great hotel in the centre of Athens on a main road, however a very short walk to Plaka with its array of restaurants, bars and cafes in beautiful cobbled streets. The hotel is comfortable and very clean with lovely helpful staff. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with hot and cold selections of very high standard and quality. Room large with large bathroom. No air conditioning so we opened the windows and unfortunately were bitten by little flies, we asked for a fan and kept the windows closed - no problem after that. If you go in the summer enquire if the air con is working!
• BSchraeder (10/5): Excellent place to explore Athens! - I have stayed 4 nights in Athens in January 2026 and very much liked it. Right at the check-in I was told having been allocated an upgrade from a standard to an executive room. The information regarding the need of gluten free bread for breakfast was also very reliably forwarded. The Gym on floor -1 is quite tiny, however offered all necessary equipment. The room was cosy, the breakfast great and staff all over very welcoming, very pleasant 🥰 Excellent choice for my four unforgettable days im Athens. Thank you so much!

The front desk helped us with a number of problems we had in the breakfast staff was wonderful. The room was a bit hot. The staff provided us with a fan which helped a little bit, but I think they turned the AC off during the winter and it was very warm in Athens when we were there.

• HEBER (8/5): Good hotel, but could improve in some items. - The staff was friendly and helpful. Location was excelent, with lots of good restaurants and cafes nearby. Also the metro station is close to the hotel and a pleasant 15 minuts walk leads to the Acropole. Wifi was very unstable, and the breakfast was a bit disappointing, with almost no fruits. The hotel should invest in renovating the gym with some better equipment. The hotel is good indeed, but could improve in some of these topics.

Η εντυπωσιακή θέα στην Ακρόπολη από το roofgarden του ξενοδοχείου έναν χώρο που συνδιάζει καφέ, ποτό ή δείπνο. Δεν έχω κάτι να προσάψω. Ηταν όλα υπέροχα!
• Charli83 (10/5): Outstanding service - The service from all the staff was amazing at this cute hotel with character. Rooms were clean and had all the amenities you'd need. Everyone was friendly, helpful and always had a smile when you saw them. Breakfast had a good spread of options. We were half board & chose dinner as the second meal - 3 generous courses of a salad, main and dessert accompanied by a beautiful view of the Acropolis every night. Great location - walking distance to the Acropolis, Philopappou Hill, Plaka neighbourhood and Hadrian's Arch and a gentle stroll to the National Garden and Syntagma square which are a bit further away. Lots of coffee shops, bars, restaurants and small shops in the roads heading towards the Acropolis. Ice cream shop was a 2 minute walk away for the evening stroll! Tip - the orthodox churches ring their bells around Athens around 8am each morning so don't be surprised if you're having a lie in

HVAC system needs attention. Our room was excessively hot/sauna like. Requested different room and it was significantly cooler. Lighting was not adequate.

• Janebug123 (10/5): Wonderful stay! - The Athenian Callirhoe Hotel provided a wonderful stay for me as a solo female traveler! I stayed one night before joining a tour group the next day. I stayed another three nights associated with the tour group, so I was there a total of four nights. I absolutely loved staying here! The rooms and amenities were comfortable and enjoyable, especially after a very long journey from the US. The complimentary breakfast supplied a plethora of delicious choices--something for everyone! The hotel is well within a short walking distance of the Acropolis Museum and the Plaka area, which has great shopping and dining. During my stay, I visited this area three times. I felt totally safe, even after dark. My departing flight was extremely early in the morning (taxi picked me up at 4:45 AM), and the front desk unexpectedly handed me a very nice take-along breakfast box. I have nothing but good to say about my stay in this hotel. It was wonderful.

They are absolutely amazing, very prompt to help with everything we needed. I would like to recognize the outstanding job from Elena and Demetri, they work at the front desk and are one of the most friendly people we have met in our trip. They helped us a lot. The hotel is very lucky to have employees like them. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Athens, which, by the way, we loved! Nothing bothered us…

• Luca (7/5): - The location of the hotel is excellent, just a short walk to the Acropolis and other main attractions, and also very convenient for getting picked up and dropped off by taxi or Uber. The overall look of the place is good, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were kind and precise in their service. Breakfast had good quality options, and in general, the hotel felt like a pleasant and well-kept place to stay. The cleaning team starts work on the floor around 7:40, which means door knocking and the vacuum cleaner at almost the same time as the nearby church bells ringing at 7:45, 7:55, and again at 8:30, not ideal for rest. I had requested a double bed but instead found two single beds simply pushed together, which was not idea Breakfast was disappointing on the hot items: eggs, bacon, and other cooked food were only lukewarm or even cold on the first morning; the cappuccino was very watery and diluted, which did not meet expectations. On the following day I avoided them and stuck to tea and cold sweet pastries, even though the mini brioches and croissants were kept warm.

Even with the taxi strike the staff immediately helped us navigate public transport with ease from the airport. The evening concierge was PHENOMENAL, wonderful personality and remembered us each time we encountered him. The restaurant upstairs was pleasant and the staff very welcoming, the view was unmatched. The room was cleaned to perfection daily and refreshed The bed was a queen made by two smaller mattresses pushed together. They kept separating as we slept but it didn’t hinder our trip

• OswaldC880 (10/5): Great hotel to explore Athens - Great hotel to stay at Athens. Very well located, close to the Parka neighborhood, also at walking distance to Acropolis & Parthenon. Room and service were great. I recommend to have dinner at the rooftop with nice views of the Parthenon.

• Samuele (8/5): Good place in central Athens - It has the upmarket feeling, especially the suites. Breakfast was good. Nearby the street with all the car rental, so a good place for 1 night between airport and pick up of a car for exploring the country It is difficult to explain: it has a kind of dated look even if everything is kept in perfect conditions. It has this international feeling that can give reassurance to some but experienced travellers maybe would like to have more of a Greek style in it.

• michaeljay2016 (10/5): Your Parthenon Awaits! - We stayed here before and after ourRoyal Caribbean Greece cruise. This was an amazing hotel, and great front desk and concierge service. Old school elevator that has 2 doors. Rooms were cozy and had good A/C and a refrigerator. The rooftop restaurant was amazing. Walking distance to the Parthenon. Be mindful that the Parthenon will close in extreme heat. Not joking. There is a Mexican restaurant (This is Loco) and 2 breweries (Strang Brew & Blame the Sun [my favorite]) within walking distance. There is a good chance we will go back to Athens in the future. This hotel will be where we stay.
