The pillows weren't great, as soon as you put your head on them they went flat so not supportive at all. As above, the pillows weren't supportive for my neck at all. There was also building works directly opposite the hotel, luckily I woke before they started in the morning but it was too early to wake up!

- Bond (4/5): - Renovations underway. They sent me an email saying it started at 9 AM. Instead, it started at 8 AM. They also don’t tell you it is very, very loud. The whole place also looks quite sad. Would not go back.
- Chris (10/5): Excellent Staff with the personal touch! - The Hotel was very clean, perfectly situated for visiting Camden and it's surrounds. The Staff were excellent, very helpful and I even got a call 2 days before arriving asking it there was anything they could do before we arrive to help us, very impressed. The bedrooms are as your expect, beds uber comfy. Then when we came down for breakfast the staff members each wrote a little positive quote on post-it notes on each table which put a smile on our faces and was a lovely little touch. This might just what they do at this hotel but it's the little things that make your stay more personal and memorable. Can't commend the staff enough!! None. They are currently just finishing up some revamp as they are changing to 'Voco' brand but didn't impinge on our stay at all

- Simmons (7/5): Nice place ruined by parking fiasco - New, nice view, good location, good breakfast Stay ruined by inaccurate info on website re parking. There is no nearby public parking at all and the limited private parking there is you need to book in advance (it is costly) and the largest nearby car park closes at 8pm. We were stuck as we arrived after 8pm. Staff kept talking over us and saying they had no on-site parking (we knew that) but eventually acknowledged that the website info on nearby parking was inaccurate. Eventually we arrived very late as we would otherwise have missed our restaurant reservations. Found somewhere to park 20 minutes away.

- Jill (10/5): Absolutely perfect - The location of the hotel was perfect for a visit to Camden as it was right in the heart of it. The trip was for my birthday and wedding anniversary which I had mentioned to the team when liaising. On arrival, they informed me that we had been chose as VIP guests and received a free room upgrade with stunning views and swanage made out of towels with rose petals and balloons and sweet in our room! It did in fact make us feel like VIPs which added to the whole experience. That staff were super friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay again. Thank you for making our stay so special.

Há uns anos estava num piso com janelas agora está na cave porque está em.obras quase há um ano. Não gostei do atendinento desconfiado dos empregados. Não gostei da localização da sala do pequeno almoço. Acho o preço muito elevado actualmente para o serviço que prestam. Só estava a funcionar um elevador.

They were happy to store our luggage after check out, to give us a free day before our train homeward. Cost was a little higher than I expected.

- Allen (10/5): - I would like to thank the staff, as it was my girlfriends 40th birthday they upgraded us to a room overlooking camden lock, we thought that the view was excellent. They also put some balloons in our room and wrote a happy birthday message on the mirror which we thought was a very thoughtful thing to do so we could'nt thank the staff enough especially the lady on the front desk ( i can't remember her name ) but she was working when we arrived on the 1st of may at 15.00. We would just like to thank you again. There was'nt anything we did'nt like.

Bed was comfortable and free Wi-Fi was fast enough Ongoing building work started quite early in the morning. Restaurant and ‘bar’ very basic so hopefully the renovation work will improve this area?

- drdc1971 (10/5): A Camden gem - Great location in busy Camden but still managed to be quiet inside. They are having some building work done as part of a change to Voco but the hotel was still running smoothly. The staff are a real credit to the hotel, all very very friendly and had great local knowledge, special mention to Amir who was able to give son helpful Pokémon tips to my 9yr old son. Other nice touches were the personal welcome on the mirror in the room and the gummy bears. Breakfast buffet was good and the dinner menu was a little reduced (I am assuming because of the building works) but the food was good and the staff were super. Overall a very good stay and we would plan to go back!
