The property on the East Side of Midtown Manhattan is a special find. The rooms are roomy, the bedding is comfortable, and the linens are desirable. Excellent staff to make our stay a superb one!

• Mercedes (5/5): Watch out for the hard sell! - The room and location. The terrible 'hard sell' on check in for timeshares. Taking money from my card without telling me. When I insisted on a refund and expressed how unhappy I was aboutthe whole scenario the staff member ripped up an associated document in my face. Unacceptable and impacted my whole holiday.

• Doug1553 (8/5): Hated the Sales Pitch, but a great Location and Staff - Wonderful place to stay. Great location, clean, helpful staff and great views. Only reason for the 4 instead of a 5 is the requirement to deposit $60 so they make sure you attend the sales presentation. This is an hour+ high pressure sales pitch to get you to buy in to Club Wyndham Timeshare. I got conned into it at Panama City Beach and partially bought in with their Discovery package. In using the package I discovered that the PCB sales team misrepresented several points. I also discovered that if you stay at a Club Wyndham the make you pay a deposit to assure you attend the sales presentation pitch and this is at each location I have stayed. I have heard their crap 4 times now, told them I was lied to and will have nothing to do with Club Wyndham going forward. The reason for the 4 is that the hotel staff not the sales time made the stay excellent. Wyndham hotels training and staff selection makes a difference. If they would just get rid of the used car salesmen trying to sell timeshares, and Holding people ransom for 1 to 2 hours of your time things might be better. Also if you listen during the presentations and argue back the price will keep going down so Don’t accept the first price offered!

• Coastal461686 (4/5): Club Wyndham presentation dishonesty - The hotel quality and location were very good. My lower review stems mainly from the club Wyndham timeshare presentation. We were told the presentation would be 90 minutes however were kept almost two hours despite us telling them the did not honor their initial claim of 90 minutes. I’m an honest person and agreed to stay for the allotted time of 90 minutes however I do not appreciate dishonestly and deception to push the time to over 2 hours. When I reminded them they had gone over time they very rudely commented that I accepted their visa gift card as if that’s an excuse for their dishonesty. Transparency and respect is all I asked and unfortunately they could not provide this.

We were surprised by the Blizzard at our arrival, but the couple of days of the storm were spent in a very peaceful and safe manner in our super cozy room. The furnishings, including the kitchenware and linens, were all spotless. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy these days at your hotel!
• Scoutings (10/5): I’m In Love!!! Best experience ever @Anastasiia - I’m in love with this property!!! It’s the whole package! Perfect location close to major (Grand Central Station) and minor (subway and bus within 3 block walk) routes. Walking distance to theatre district but set far enough that you can find groceries and pharmacies within a block. Beds are dreamy. Cleanliness is a 10/10. Water pressure, ability to store medication in a fridge, activities to complement midtown NYC? Check, check, check. … but the best part is truly THE STAFF. I tend to disregard staff reviews, but… in this case, they’re so caring, welcoming, and attentive, that it’s like coming home after a long day. After over-exerting yourself getting to or around NYC. The staff make you feel like you’ve come home: Shout out to Erica H, Stephanie, but head above shoulders, the manager: Anastasiia. @BestHolidayEver.
• lcspector2019 (10/5): Very nice resort in a great location - This was our second visit to this resort and we were even more pleased this time. We had a one bedroom that is like having an apartment in New York! We learned how to use the subway from Grand Central Station which made it very convenient to get around the city. There are several markets nearby where you can get sandwiches etc. so you don't have to eat expensive meals every night but if you do want to eat out there are plenty of good restaurants either in walking distance or a subway ride away.

• Vacation54189294500 (10/5): Great stay in NYC - We had a studio with a small kitchen including a full size refrigerator, a four burner stove top & microwave, & full bath. The hotel is located conveniently near Grand Central and a small yet well stocked Amish market. Staff is incredibly helpful and pleasant. It’s a great place to stay-quiet with great views.
• foodyforlife (10/5): Absolutely fantastic place to say! - What a fantastic place, in a tremendous area. Very close to several transit choices, great restaurants all around, and markets/ pharmacies. As for the hotel it’s really incredible. The whole staff is so helpful and friendly. Especially the bell men. Man they work there ass off. The rooms are very clean, with everything you need, we have not done a sales presentation at this location but have at other locations. Yea it’s high pressure but they give you good stuff for your time, plus it’s there job. Maybe if they did the presentation in your suite and give you all the cool stuff we might do it one day

No matter how good they make it sound or how much pressure / coercion is applied, do NOT buy a timeshare! The "salespeople" totally misrepresent what you will receive / have. Like many owners, I would give away my ownership if I could. Fees are too high and just keep rising faster than the CPI.

The sales staff was shamefully disrespectful once I started saying no to their presentation offers. And since it is that way at almost every Wyndham resort, their apologies and promises of improvement are meaningless. You just have to price in that disrespect as a part of the whole package.

Hotel (which is actually a timeshare so not a real hotel per say) was run by a young but professional crowd. Has a great terrace and lounge on the top floor. A bit dark. The room could use more light. You have to go around the room to light all of the lamps, no centralised lighting.

• 511taryns (2/5): They hold your key hostage - The room was lovely the process to get your key was awful. I was in New York for 3 nights. I was hassled on my way in, on our way to a show. And i mean i couldn't get my key card to my room until i agreed to go to a presentation. I finally said they couldn't make me go and they finally gave me the card. Then called us 20 min after getting to the room. Then on our way out to the show they hassled us again. Then phone calls every day and then we finally gave in and went we they didn't even have time for us and there was no breakfast. They lied to get us to go. The property is nice and great location but just say no to the sales presentation. They won't give you your key if your an owener. It is really frustrating.

• Curious776261 (2/5): Scammers and Liars please beware and stay far away from them, they are manipulators and unethical immoral criminals. - Please everyone listen carefully, these people are scammers, they make false promises and show fake destinations that you won’t ever be able to book due to certain restrictions and regulations. Stay far away from these crooks they’re evil. Very very evil and they are 100% manipulating liars who say whatever to sell you on a false dream. They gave us a voucher that sounded good but when we went to actually redeem it, we could not because the place they promised us was good to go did not allow more than 2 people. We told them specifically we have kids and as a family we want to travel and they said yes these hotels will take you. Every hotel we looked was either 2 or 4 not 5 or 6. They charged us to attend this meeting and then charged us again even after the meeting was completed which wasn’t apart of the deal. Stay far away from these scammers they are liars and I’m ashamed that I ever attended one of these time share voucher scams.

• brdiazf (10/5): Great stay at Club Wyndham Midtown 45 - Our stay at the Club Wyndham Midtown was spectacular really unforgettable. This resort hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Manhattan very close to Grand Central Terminal, Bryant Park and Times Square, and all its amenities are excellent. Our room felt like being in a very spacious apartment extremely comfortable, great kitchenware, and a wonderful view from our floor 32. There is also a room for sharing with other guests with free coffee and tea. We can´t wait to return back. Thanks Club Wyndham and RCI for this great stay.

• W608DWmarkb (10/5): Spacious Room at Hotel with Friendly Staff - The room at Club Wyndham Midtown 45 was larger and nicer than any hotel I have ever enjoyed in New York City. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The central location made it easy for me to ride the subway when I wanted to do so. Cab and rideshare trips to the hot spots were short and inexpensive, too. Nice restaurants were walking distance from the resort. This is a great place to stay!
• Rashad (10/5): Great Value - Hotel was clean, staff was courteous, and noise was kept to a minimum given the construction around the building. Didn’t encounter any hassling for timeshares. Was here for two day business conference located on Park Ave which was a 10 minute walk. Deli on the corner has some really good sandwiches and Grand Central Food Court is only a 10 min walk away.
• lcspector2019 (10/5): A very nice property in a central Manhattan location - We used our timeshare points to stay in this very nice mid-town east location. Our room was very nicely appointed with a mini kitchen that allows you to eat breakfast or other meals in your room to avoid the high price of eating in NYC for all meals. There is a very nice convenience store right down the street called the Amish Market. The staff were very nice and helpful. Our only complaint was an aggressive timeshare person who accosted us on our way to our room. We would definitely stay in this property again if given the chance.

The staff was friendly The sales pitch to become a Wyndham owner was a little heavy handed. It wasn't bad at first, but as it went on it got worse and worse. Every time you say no, they come back with a different offer telling you it's a no-brainer and why won't you do this? SMH The sofa bed was an el-cheapo. There's a support bar that runs across the bed just under where my shoulders were. We had to take the mattress off and put it on the floor...that was more comfortable than having it on the fold out sofa frame. It wasn't a really big deal as that's just how a lot of sofa beds are.

• Flora (8/5): Perfectly located ! - The location is absolutely perfect, super close to Grand Central (we came by train). The one bedroom app has plenty of room for a couple + 2 kids. We loved having the possibility to cook/eat in the apartment. Roof top lounge is a wonderful bonus! Amazing view. The staff was also really kind and helpful. A little bit noisy due to the roadwork behind the hotel, but nothing crazy.

No complaints, friendly staff, and stunning rooms! - The room was way more spacious than another hotel we stayed in Times Square, location was still just as accessible to everything, in fact closer to the main subway stations and a whole street of food and coffee right at the doorstep pretty much. Great facilities, big comfy bed, multiple mirrors, storage space and a really nice big mini fridge which was great for summer (August) as it was very hot so we could keep drinks cold. There was also option to attend their rooftop events scheduled for the week. We didn’t have much time to experience but great options on there if u are staying a while and have a free evening. Friendly staff too! They were also helpful in letting us check in early and holding our luggage while we did our last shop before we heading to the airport. There is also a hot drinks station which is also a very nice touch :) one last thing, the doorman and front of house staff were amazing and super helpful is suggesting when to take an uber and comparing prices with their options. It was raining when we left and we had help getting our suitcases into the car by the hotels door staff which was super lovely. Overall great stay! Not much to complain about other than I wish we stayed there longer than 3 nights :)

At check-in yesterday, we were down graded to a double queen standard room in spite of Diamond status, no warning email or phone call. They offered to replace the points for $50. So that means we get to have another unexpected down grade in the future?? Too many other great options - we are done with Wyndham rewards.
• Cruiser61682047897 (2/5): Do NOT recommend - We had a very disappointing experience at Club Wyndham Midtown 45 and would not recommend staying here. We arrived at the hotel around 12 pm, knowing we were a bit early for check-in, but we expected that they could at least hold our bags and give us a reasonable estimate for when our room would be ready. When we asked about check-in, the staff said it would only be “a couple hours.” We came back at 3 pm, and they repeated the same vague response. This happened yet again at 3:30 pm. It’s now 4 pm, which is a standard check-in time, yet we’re still getting no clear answers besides the generic “soon.” The staff showed a complete lack of time management and had no sense of urgency or organization. The communication was poor and unhelpful, leaving us in the dark without any genuine updates. We also noticed a lack of concern for customer service overall, which made the experience all the more frustrating. This hotel clearly needs better processes for handling check-ins and guest communication, especially when it comes to managing guests’ expectations.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying in a variety of accommodations here, from standard hotel rooms to studios, and even one-bedroom Presidential suites, and each stay has exceeded my expectations. Here are a few reasons why I highly recommend it: 1. Prime Location: The hotel is perfectly situated, just a 15-minute walk from Times Square and close to countless iconic Manhattan attractions. It’s ideal for anyone wanting to explore the city without long commutes. 2. Spacious and Comfortable Rooms: Regardless of the type of room, each space is beautifully maintained and offers a cozy yet modern feel. The one-bedroom Presidential suite, in particular, is luxurious and perfect for longer stays or special occasions. 3. Excellent Amenities: Club Wyndham Midtown 45 goes above and beyond with amenities, offering everything from a relaxing lounge area to fitness facilities. The views from the rooftop lounge are an added bonus! 4. Friendly and Professional Staff: The staff here is warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything you might need. They informed us it was the 2nd stage of checking in - which is simply not true! We politely declined being subjected to a sales pitch. Other than that, our stay was fantastic. I can recommend this property...and it was much quieter than where we had stayed previously in Midtown where traffic noise reached us even on the 17th floor.
• joshuas93 (10/5): Great location, fantastic accommodations, would recommend! - This hotel is in a great location just a few blocks from Grand Central Station. We got a surprise upgrade to a 1 bedroom unit at check in (we had booked a hotel room double). The accommodations were objectively spacious, but for New York City they were ridiculously spacious, with a large bedroom with king size bed, walk-in closet, a living room with dining room table and fold out couch, and a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove-top, dishwasher, and plate settings for six. We even had an extra “bonus room” with some dressers in it and another closet. It was a really large set up for NYC. The furniture including the bedding was comfortable and up to date. There was an incredible rooftop lounge with great views, and free coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The staff were friendly and accommodating. As always with Club Wyndham, they will try to talk you into attending a tough sales high pitched timeshare sales pitch. They may call it a number of different things. You can always politely decline as we did. We will definitely be back to this hotel.

• LisaB0709 (6/5): BEWARE time share - This hotel is a time share property. They lure you in as a hotel then pressure you into “a quick presentation”. They will keep you there for HOURS! With no care or concern about your time. The actual hotel is decent, in a great location and I would have rated it higher if it weren’t for the high pressure sales people you had to walk past EVERY TIME - coming & going, it made it very cringy and awkward. The actual hotel staff were very nice. The valet was very helpful too sadly I felt I couldn’t make eye contact or engage with them for fear we’d get harassed by the time share people. We stayed 6 nights. My only complaint about the room was no where to put your toiletries in the bathroom. Other than that, it was clean the bed was comfortable and the AC worked great.

Blanca Cruz and Andy Santos were always ready to help in anyway they could. We were always greeted with genuine smiles. They were both very helpful in suggesting attractions, restaurants, shopping, directions as well as parking.
• JacTait (2/5): Avoid booking through 3rd party…or if female and solo - Do not book this hotel if you are a single female or book through a 3rd party. I booked a 5 night stay 2 months in advance and when I turned up Wyndham had cancelled my booking. I was a lone female thousands of miles away from home and they cancelled my booking hours before I got to the hotel, while I was mid air and I knew nothing about it. The staff let me use the phone to try and resolve it but did little to help as they clearly just wanted me out of their small reception. I was left alone to fend for myself. I have heard of hotels over booking and walking you to another hotel but this was just cancelled and we will do nothing. I have never seen such awful customer service. I have contacted them since and received zero support, hence this review. I have booked with Wyndham for years and travel regularly but have never come across this before, it goes without saying I will never book with this brand again

But thanks the ghastly interraction with a salesperson trying to harrass me into a buying a load of old touristy nonsense when all I wanted to do was get to my room after a long flight (and with heavy baggage), I will never stay here again. That lack of sensitivity from the salesbod has put me off ever going back - plenty of other options in NYC.

• Braziliantravelbug (9/5): A winning, reasonably priced stay in Midtown Manhattan . - The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, from the reception desk to concierge to doormen always quick to lend a hand, hold an umbrella or hail a cab. The complimentary hot beverages in the lobby and rooftop were much appreciated. The indoor and outdoor area on the rooftop provided a nice setting for visiting with our travel partners while admiring the view. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and offered plenty of storage. We couldn't get good water flow or the right direction from the adjustable shower head in the our room's accessible bathroom. The shower curtain didn't contain the water in the shower stall, and there was no shelf to put any personal cosmetic items.

• Kenneth A (10/5): Large room at a good price for Manhattan - Club Wyndham is not really a hotel. I believe they are timeshares where rooms are rented. They offered to have us listen to a. Presentation but were not pushy when we said we couldn’t take the time. The rate was a good value and the front desk personnel couldn’t have been nicer and helpful. The rooms were very spacious for NYC. The location was good for us. I would recommend this place. One other thing, there was construction going on near by so there was quite a bit of loud noise near by so try to get a quiet room
• Winderella (8/5): - The reason I gave four stars is because the staff at the front desk and the doorman were exceptional. However, after checking in, I went around the corner to get to the elevator and was blindsided by a woman trying to get me to schedule 90 minutes of my two day trip to listen to us timeshare pitch.. Even after explaining that I only had two days I still was pressured to try and schedule sometime. I spent 20 minutes there before I was able to get up to my room. In addition, there was no housekeeping I had to take my linens and my garbage out of the room each day and put it down the hall into an area for it to be collected.

• Peter (8/5): - Nice room, good location very near the UN building. Be warned, it is a timeshare so you'll run the gauntlet of timeshare sales people as you enter and leave. Not too pushy but annoying none the less. It's New York, so the car horns will be 24/7 but that's pretty unavoidable anywhere in Manhattan but if you've not been before, it can be an unfortunate surprise. Not unique to this hotel though. If you're prepared for the timeshare sales, it's a nice place to stay.

• Lucy (8/5): Clean, spacious and convenient. - Location is great, walking distance to lots of places and well located for transport if needed. We got the AirTrain and then the E to the hotel and it was very easy to find. Staff super welcoming. Room was very spacious. Bathroom could do with an update but that’s me being super picky! The facilities were good and very clean, just a little dated and the shower was at a weird angle.

• Witous (9/5): The stay was great i just wish they didnt push people into talking with the reps for a timeshare. - Location was great along with the facilities.The rooftop area was amazing at night time and wasnt' busy or crowded.Couldnt hear others through the walls was very quiet. After reading reviews about the timeshares i was really hoping there wasn't going to be an issue about people trying to push you into getting a time share. While getting the room keys we were told to head to another counter to get a welcome package. It was there that we were talked into talking with a rep the next morning in exchange for a prize I was left on the sofa waiting ( they didnt call me to talk to the rep)for an hour and a half while my significant other did the tour. He received the gift cards as i did not because i didn't talk with anyone. Was not happy about that.

Staff was pleasant and friendly! Had to ask twice for the AC to be fixed, making the room 80 degrees at times! Timeshare lady jumped on us immediately before we even got to the room. She was very pushy and not transparent about what she wanted from us, but insisted we take time out of our vacation to just meet her downstairs but after research we knew they were offering something with timeshares.

• Roc (2/5): Never again - The room was very large. The bed was good and so worth the linens that’s about the best I can say. There’s some kind of timeshare racket running out of this hotel and when you arrive, they stop you and they make you promise that you’re gonna come to some thing the next day to learn about their timeshare and they’re gonna give you free trips blah blah it was obnoxious. Also, the rooms are very out of there wasn’t a single electrical outlet near the bed. The bathtub was difficult to climb into and there was no hand shower. it was very noisy in the hotel. People were yelling and the doors don’t fit well so you get all the noise coming through.
