The beach was so beautiful and it’s definitely a place where you can switch off. Location was further away from the main town than I’d realised . More my fault for not checking this prior to booking .
Carol (7/5): Smart but soulless and stupidly expensive - Smart, rooms clean and great views. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Round, shallow pool made swimming awkward. Prices for drinks are ridiculous, two or three times the price of everywhere else we visited. Whole place is so vast it can feel soulless. Probably a great business hotel, not so much for the tourist.

I arrived 30 minutes before breakfast was scheduled to close and they were visibly annoyed each time! I never took long and had always left before they shut. I also attempted to eat a sandwich in the lobby and they kicked me outside to eat in the 35 degrees heat. I asked for some water and they tried to charge me 200k Dong (about £5.65). I won’t be back.

The pool was great, buffet breakfast was incredible and very diverse. We had a spa treatment which was affordable and top quality. Rooms were clean and spacious, with good air conditioning. The shower in the room was slightly small for us, but still fine.

Location and pool were good We received no information at check in about the areas and facilities of the hotel, like spa or amenities on offer. It felt like we had to always ask for information that should be straightforward and provided to the guests. Room was from another decade with worn finishes. view of the river was nice but the windows were dirty. Guess it’s more of a wedding or other occasion venue type of hotel.

Veronica & Tanya was at front desk and they greeted us with a big bright smile. Specially the staff - everywhere you go in the hotel you get awesome service, no matter if it was housekeeping or at the front desk or the swimming pool or the executive lounge or at the restaurants and of course the Concierges - service was top notch. We had breakfast included and we loved it! We had an amazing time in Saigon and staying at Lotte made it complete. Highly recommended!

Maria del Rosario (10/5): Un 5 estrellas perfecto - Un verdadero 5 estrellas. Usé muchas de las instalaciones, todo fue perfecto. Excelente el servicio de todos, desde la limpieza, las empleadas del spa, los del bar de la pileta, la atención de la recepción, el conserje y del desayuno. El desayuno era de una variedad y calidad que pocas veces vi, y así fue durante toda la semana que me alojé. Nos quedamos durante el Tet (el año nuevo lunar) y fue ideal poder quedarnos en una habitación con vista al río y ver desde allí los fuegos artificiales sobre el agua. Como en toda la ciudad, algunos no son fluidos con el inglés, pero todos se esmeran por hacerse entender y resolver las preguntas. Durante esas celebraciones, muchos lugares en la ciudad están cerrados, así que cenamos dos veces en el bufet (delicioso) y en el restaurante de comida japonesa. Ambos muy recomendables, aunque mucho más caros que comer afuera. La habitación tenía una cama gigante, todo muy limpio, tele con canales locales. Aire acondicionado, no se podían abrir las ventanas. Tuvimos un problema con una pérdida en un caño del baño pero lo solucionaron inmediatamente. Hay muchos lugares para cenar cerca del hotel, se puede pasear por el río y está muy cerca de los principales edificios históricos y museos. Todos los detalles están cuidados: botones, carteles, flores, alfombras, toallas, música de fondo, alfombras. Faltan reposeras, y las pocas que hay se ocupan en seguida y a la mayoría no las cubren las sombrillas. El resto de la pileta muy bien. Lo único que no me gustó para nada fue el restaurante de comida china. Pésimo, carísimo, mucho frío. Pero no depende del hotel.

ianbQ587ZO (10/5): An excellent hotel in a first class location - My wife and I have just spent four wonderful days in the Lotte Hotel, Saigon. From the moment we booked in, the staff were welcoming and very professional. Having stayed at the Lotte Towers Hotel in Seoul, and the Lotte Hotel in Busan, we knew how good this brand of hotel is. I can honestly say that every member of staff we spoke to were very well trained in their role, but more importantly, they were very friendly and willing to assist you. To us, that is the sign of a well run hotel and it is greatly appreciated. The hotel is situated in a perfect position for exploring all the attractions in Saigon - all are within easy walking distance. We were lucky that our visit caught the last few days of the Lunar New Year celebrations. Many streets were made pedestrian access only and covered in massive displays of flowers and orchids. The hotel overlooks the Saigon River, and the colours on massive screens on the opposite bank along with the brightly lit buildings and boats travelling up and down the river made it a memorable sight. The Lotte offers an oasis of calm from the frantic pace of Saigon - the traffic is manic. The pool area and spa offer a welcome respite from the mayhem happening outside the front of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They are cleaned and maintained to a very high standard, with the breakfast buffet in the morning offering a huge assortment of foods and fruit - we did not take advantage of the dining options in the hotel. This was our first visit to Saigon, and to say we were completely overwhelmed by the sheer stamina and vibrancy of this city would be an understatement - it is full on 24 hours a day! After exhausting day trips and walks, we appreciated the comforts offered by the hotel. It isn't often that my wife comments on how sad she is to leave an hotel, but she did with this one. Keep up the good work!

As it was my brother's and my birthday, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make the occasion memorable, including providing two cakes, handwritten birthday notes, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers, all of which we sincerely appreciated. The breakfast offering was outstanding, with a wide variety of options. The presentation was lovely, and the food was consistently fresh and hot, ensuring we never went hungry. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, featuring a Japanese toilet, which was a new experience for me! The pool area was enjoyable, with a good selection of drinks and snacks, and there were clean bathrooms available, including two showers where we could rinse off before our flight. The hotel’s location was convenient, just a short walk to the main square, which is surrounded by numerous shops, bars, and restaurants. I'd definitely recommend and if I'm back in Vietnam, this is where I'll be staying.

MONICA (10/5): A convenient location to all areas and very nice n clean - It was very clean n always smelled fresh. Good variety of morning breakfast n stuff were attentive Needed more food option at the bar. We arrived late n went to the bar but only had French fries as not much options were available
