• Gennadiy (3/5): Appalling service and amenities! Unbearable! - The location. Everything is close by... And another thing: if your room windows face the courtyard, it is absolutely quiet. That is the only plus of this hotel. The room does not match the description or the photos on the website. See my photos below. The following aspects of this hotel are utterly unbearable: noise from the elevator; the ventilation fan in the shower room may *never* turn off! It RUMBLES 24/7; the bed is uncomfortable, and the sheet constantly slips out from under the mattress. Sleeping is unbearable; during my stay, the hotel staff failed to remove the trash or replace wet towels for several days at a time (I was paying 150€/night, April 2026); poor drainage in the sink; very little space in both the shower stall and the room itself; Sitting down on the toilet and then standing back up is extremely difficult due to the lack of space. You constantly have to be mindful of the cramped quarters. If you are tall like me (192 cm), simply using the toilet becomes a major ordeal. It is inconvenient! It is unbearable! The bathroom faucet installation is poor, when washing your hands, water splashes everywhere, there is nowhere to dry towels, they remain wet, and there is nowhere to hang them after use, the water from the tap and shower is barely lukewarm. IT IS NOT HOT! It is impossible to properly wash up or shave, there is no table in the room, the bedside table wobbles and is tiny, there is no proper lobby, reception the empty walls only, the phone number (+31 20 233 3892) on the website went unanswered for two days. I messaged the hotel about all these issues via Booking.com, but I noticed absolutely no improvements. The hotel refused to offer any compensation for the inconvenience. The hotel is owned and managed by Chinesen's. If you value your peace of mind, comfort, and receiving quality service for your money, avoid this hotel at all costs. I believe you can find much better places for this price point. I sincerely hope you do.

• Eleonora (2/5): Horrific - Only good thing I can say about the property it’s the location which was near public transport and easily reachable. First of all the property advertise a very luxury hotel which is definitely not. The room has a bad smell of painting as they were renovating the rooms which was very strong and gave me a headache. The room were dirty and the furniture damaged from white paint. The hotel had the slowest lift in history takes about 5 minutes to come down and then another 5 to go to your floor. The hotel advertised free WiFi included however if your room it’s on 2nd floor or onwards you get no WiFi at all.

• Nana (2/5): - The location is good. Upon entering, there is an unpleasant smell. We were supposed to have a king-size bed, but it was just two beds pushed together, which was uncomfortable, we were falling in the middle. The wallpaper on the wall was peeling and dusty. Also, they charged us a 50 euro deposit. Which was returned in about 15 days. The hotel does not have parking, which is associated with high costs if you are driving.
• Melvin (1/5): Slechter dan slecht - De locatie en een vriendelijke balie medewerker bij aankomst Het was een ontzettende sfeerloze smeerbende op de kamer, overal stof verf en wat voor andere vieze vlekken, badkamer stinkt naar rioollucht, de lift maakt mega veel lawaai . Ik raad iedereen af om hier een kamer te boeken.!!!! Ondanks dat ze het wat aan het opknappen zijn is dit prachtige pand levenloos en verwaarloosd. Zie de foto’s

• Saglam (3/5): A fuire - L'emplacement et le personnel très gentil La chambre était sale et vétuste, le thermostat de la douche était cassé, l'évier bouché, la tv ne fonctionne pas d'ailleurs il n'y avait même pas de télécommande... Le lit n'était vraiment pas confortable il y avait un trou au milieu... Le rideau nous est tombé dessus en voulant l'ouvrir bref du bricolage et peu d'hygiène... C'est inacceptable de payer autant pour ça...

• ellen (1/5): - great location, nice staff bed was not clean (stains in sheet) floor wasnt clean (gum from previous guest on the floor), and might have bed bugs (aint 100% sure but i have raches on my body after staying there). Havent had this before, this was the 3rd time staying but wont be back after this
• Isabela (9/5): - The room and bathroom were both spacious. Very well lit, and a comfortable bed. The balcony was really nice as well. The floor was quite dirty, but I'm pretty sure they cleaned it after we asked them to. I didn't need the lift during my stay, but it is extremely slow so keep that in mind if you do need it.

E um mercado a 5 minutos. A limpeza poderia ser um pouco melhor, estava com pó e o chão nao parecia muito limpo. Ja fiquei em lugares mais baratos com uma limpeza MUITO melhor.
• dawid (1/5): - Location Stained walls and mattress, loud construction site noise from floor above the room every day from 6.45 am to 6 PM every day.. TV wasn't working, there was no balcony, some old socks under the bed. WiFi wasn't available for two days. The staff wasn't helpful at all. Avoid!

• Amanda (1/5): - Zeer slechte ervaring. We zijn twee keer naar de verkeerde kamer gestuurd, waarvan één kamer al bezet was door iemand anders. De tweede kamer was nog niet schoongemaakt. De derde kamer was ook in slechte staat: een slecht bed, een rommelige en onhygiënische kamer, geen koffieapparaat en geen toiletartikelen. Dit is absoluut onacceptabel.

• Kamila (4/5): Nice but for the price I paid I’m very disappointed with the inconveniences mentioned. - The location was very good, not a far walk to the city centre. The staff are very friendly Unfortunately the place was quite dirty. On the second night while fixing the bed we noticed the mattress we were sleeping on was filthy. We did report it to reception and got the mattress changed, however for the price we paid for the stay this should have never happened in the first place. I also received a message from the property asking for a €50 CASH deposit only - I had the money ready and upon arrival I was told it was card only. I was also told that on the day of departure I would have the deposit returned the same day. Upon check out, I was informed the deposit would take a few days to return. This is quite an inconvenience, as going by the information given by the host it was supposed to be on a cash basis which would be returned upon check out. There was also major repairs going on every single day in the hotel and it was quite loud practically all the time especially in the morning - we were not informed this would be happening at any point.

• Dorina (4/5): War ok - Die Frau an der Rezeption war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und hat uns gut weiter geholfen Der Toiletten Deckel war kaputt, die Wand dreckig und hat abgeblättert, der Fahrstuhlknopf ging in der obersten Etage nicht. Und wenn ich Kinder angeben muss zählen Kinder bis zu 17 Jahren da sie minderjährig sind und da sollte stehen das kinder als Kleinkinder bei ihnen bezeichnet werden. Außerdem sollte da stehen das sie nur Doppelzimmer haben, weil selbst mit Kleinkinder möchte man nicht da schlafen in einem Doppelbett.

Même après avoir demandé le nettoyage de la chambre qui aurait dû se faire le matin nous sommes repassés la chambre pas encore faite on a attendu et en rentrant quel surprise toujours des bras sale seulement les taches de dentifrice on était enlevé Chambre sale pour le prix payer c une honte Cheveux et poils qui ne nous appartient pas dans le lit Salle de bain sale aussi ! Supplément la chaise et petit fauteuil rempli de poussière Avec un bureau à se demander si il a déjà était nettoyé une fois…

• Judith (3/5): Para no repetirlo. - La ubicación es buena y te permiten dejar las maletas en el establecimiento si llegas antes o te vas tarde, sin coste alguno. El personal de recepción es agradable. La “cama” más bien el sofá, era incómodo, los almohadones súper incómodos y molestos. La ducha echaba rota, la mampara era diminuta y el baño (pequeño) se mojaba entero. El secador estaba roto, no funcionaba se sobrecalentaba y se ponía muy rojo. Había un calefactor/ventilador, que solo salía frío y estaba roto. La habitación estaba cero insonorizada por lo que se escuchan muy bien las juergas de los vecinos. No hay apenas luz en la habitación, un foco en cada esquina que no alumbra lo más mínimo. En el baño un pequeño foco que no te permite ni verte en el espejo.

Overal lag stof, badkamer volledig met kalkvlekken, doucheslang had geen houder en moest je van de vloer op rapen. Gordijn kwam los van de rails en de buren hoorde je door de muur heen.Basis hygiene gewoon niet aanwezig. Ik zou deze plek zeker niet aanbevelen. Slechte prijs kwaliteit.

• Jan (6/5): Für Konzerte in Melkweg , Maloe Melo , Paradiso, wär das auch zukünftig eine option. - Lage relativ zu Cafes, Burgern & Bier , und Konzertvenues. Aufzug (seeeehr laangsaam aber Hauptsache er funktioniert). Zimmer direkt neben dem Aufzug, Aufzugantrieb war auffallend laut, konnte zum Glück trotzdem schlafen. Boden der Dusche war durchgehende Fläche mit dem gesamten Badezimmerboden, keine Tür / Vorhang o.ä an der Dusche : Hab mich nicht getraut zu Duschen um nicht die ganze Nasszelle unter Wasser zu setzen..

• Alexandra (7/5): Bien para lo que vale - La cama enorme. La ubicación y el personal Las paredes tenían manchas que podrían limpiar perfectamente. El ascensor se quedaba parado en pisos de arriba, lo que nos obligaba a subir las escaleras super empinadas que tenían, porque nos pusieron en el 4 piso.
