- KAISER (4/5): - The hotel is ok, and we had breakfast included for £9 extra a day... But...there is a nightclub in the lobby!! Loud music until 3.30am every night....we left the next morning and found another hotel......we preferred to lose the money we paid and pay the extra for new hotel so we could actually enjoy the holiday...... Staff were friendly and helpful.....but the noise is unbearable.

The halls smell bad as well, Like cigarettes and mold. There are clubs on the first floor that have blaring loud music until after 4am. Which is insane. You can hear the music and feel the vibrations up many floors. The lobby smells as well and reeked of cigarette smoke. Luckily I was only there for a 12 hour layover. I would never book again. Save your time and money!!!

The nearest metro station Al-Rigga Station, is about a 6 to 8-minute walk. The hotel offers a modest breakfast. The juice drinks offered are below par. Most of the clubs are being renovated.

Really near the airport (terminal 3) This property seems to be like a 3 star hotel and not a 4 star as things are quite old and some parts are dirty. The staff are strict and doesn’t understand much English. For example we asked if they had a freezer and they sent us a fridge. They wouldn’t allow us to use their microwave so we had to throw away a lot of food. It was an okay stay and did the job but it’s not like other 4 star hotels e.g Ibis styles, Pearl Swiss hotel etc

- khaled (2/5): - Only the area around is good for shopping, walking, easy transportation and several restaurants. But the hotel Aravi it self is a disaster. I had a paid reservation and arrived at 12:00pm after an overnight trip, they refused to check me in, they said no available rooms right now, you have to come after 2:00pm so I asked the front desk ok no problem but I may come 8:00pm since I have several meetings, they said you can come any time since your booking is paid. So I came at 8:30pm they said to me we canceled your booking and we have the right to do so since we are in a high season but no worries we can put you in the first floor right up to the night club so you can imagine the noise up to 3:00am. I refused to take the room and insisted on them to recover my booking and told them I'm going to report a complaint against the hotel, so the the magic happened and they gave me another room in the 6th floor. And something else you have to be aware of it that the hotel have a parking under the property but even you are a guest but they will charge you 30 ADE/day for parking your car there. It was a bad experience I don't advise anyone to book there
- Robert (8/5): My personal review of Aravi - Checked in on 4th Feb. Arrived at about 8am and had requested for early check-in but the gentleman on the reception desk at the time didn’t even care to listen. so had to wait at the lounge till 2pm. when it was time to check, i didn’t know the procedures and then gentleman rudely asked me to drop my passport and wait at the lounge. there was a queue but what is disappointing is that i saw people who came in later than me get checked in before i was! I eventually checked in at about 3.20pm. The room was okay but the beddings weren’t freshly cleaned. there were traces of hair on the pillow covers. i let housekeeping know but they didn’t change them until the next day. I had booked for 4 nights, and had determined not to extend my stay, but thanks to Rolack, Roda and Jeslin- they were extremely nice to me and somehow found myself extending my stay for an extra 5 days! all else went fine but the cleanliness in the room needs to be improved. the carpet is never cleaned, the beddings weren’t changed for days even on request, one of the cleaners removed the pillow slips and was using it to clean the surfaces, and sink. cleanliness of the utensils needs to be watched, etc. other than the cleanliness amd check- in experience all else was good amd would still recommend it especially for the sake of 3 people i already mentioned up there

Now, the management has been changed recently and the name has been changed to Aravi. It is now run down, bathroom drainage is clogged, cleanliness is terrible and the lobby is noisy with shady people attending the two night clubs all the time. Terrible experience.

They agreed to give us a room with two single beds while we paid for double/king bed while investigating the problem The second day 29/3 we were told they got their money from you and gave us a double beds room Second we arrived on Monday the 28/03 while we paid for dates starting the 25/3 so where there is the refund for the unused three nights?

He does not have the courage to take a decision that satisfies the guests. There is no cleanliness. There are no simple things. Really, a very bad hotel. It was quite disturb and restless sleep for the whole night and entire period of my stay there, music usually was started between 10pm till 8:00am. In this complain was made to reception staff but no remedy was provided.

- Haroon (10/5): Conveniently located and reasonably priced hotel. - Avari Hotel is a conveniently located barely 10 minutes from the airport, and ideal for a short stop over or even if staying for a few days. It is comfortable, reasonably priced, with welcoming and attentive staff, has all the basic amenities one needs, the rooms are spacious and clean, and serves a decent breakfast. There are several restaurants nearby to suit one's pocket, and there is a Metro station close by that provides good access to different parts of Dubai.

- Steven (10/5): Another Awesome Stay - The stay was enjoyable as always as I have made this hotel my place to stay during my travels through Dubai. The room is quite quiet and great for the huge tub that it has which I can fit in (big frame body) and enjoy the soaking; a small person would have his/her private pool (lol). The hot water could be a tat hotter and running longer but otherwise no complaints. Kudos to Bryan (concierge) and ooops …… one young lady from reception ………. Bryan help me with her name who were great with their customer service skills.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - The location is okay. However, the facities like the bed , wash hands basin , the chair in the room were very old . The rating of the hotels should not be more than three stars at most. They could not provide common towels after cleaning the room and later when I called for it they REFUSED to provide it. Even water all the four stars I have been staying, they normally provide two bottles of small one every day but the hotel says that it after three days before providing water again.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room service and restaurant service is poor when complain to duty manager he said he is helpless as it is outsorced and guest cannot charge to hotel bill. The management should inform to guest at time of check in they cannot charge to room bill and cannot assist with restaurant service as it is outsourced.

- Nawzer (10/5): - Very Nice and Clean hotel , the staff was very polite, the Avari Hotel is 50 m from the Al Rigga metro station. The Breakfast was also good, the swimming pool was clean.
- Yousouf (6/5): Avari in Dubai. - Well located for Rigga road; compact room, power points not working initially and then intermittently, noisy on the 7th from guests outside, and in the foyer downstairs outside the bars and floorshow. No valet parking. Adequate gym. Sad receptionists and meet and greet.
