- Rahim1998 (4/5): Unfortunately our experience did not live up to the hotel's reputation or price point - I would give the service 4 stars but not the rest We stayed at Nobu Hotel Barcelona from 13 to 17 May and unfortunately our experience did not live up to the hotel's reputation or price point. The room had stains on many of the cupboards, which were also visibly old and damaged. The walls in the room were visibly dirty, and the bathroom taps were rusted. The bathroom layout made no practical sense, and the shower hose was installed on the opposite side from where the glass panel is, meaning you couldn't stand in the logical spot behind the glass. As a result, water sprayed everywhere each time we showered, leaving the entire bathroom floor soaking wet every single time. There was also no ventilation whatsoever in the bathroom. We had high expectations given the Nobu brand name and price tag, but left feeling genuinely disappointed.

- A Narsapur (9/5): Luxury hotel with stunning views. - Beautiful hotel room with stunning views of Barcelona from the 2 walls of windows and the little window in the shower. Extremely comfortable bed & pillows. Loved the lighting & electric curtains. The room & onsite was a good size and very clean. The staff were helpful especially Obo who gave us directions and took time to ask how our day was. The views from the rooftop bar are spectacular. The location was good, very close to the train and subway station with easy access to the city centre and the airport. The rooftop pool was lovely but small and cold. The food and drinks are very expensive.

There was an additional amount to pay when I arrived. Room service was cold. Room was adequately clean. Massages caused reaction meaning my partner was crying with pain all night and we had to cancel dinner reservations. She then asked for a cup of tea and when it arrived it was cold. Overall a bad experience.

I thought my invoice had been settled at checkout, which was quite chaotic, as I had to wait around 20 minutes. I thought the room was great, but you have to request most toiletries and items, which I have not experienced at a 5-star hotel before. Overall, I am quite disappointed with the location and the price-to-value. However, I want to note that the housekeeping and concierge staff were extremely helpful.

Bij aankomst kregen we zelfs een upgrade naar een ruimere kamer, ondanks dat we al een deluxe kamer hadden geboekt. Het personeel was buitengewoon vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en de faciliteiten en restaurants waren van hoog niveau. Kortom, Nobu is een keten waar je met vertrouwen kunt rekenen op een aangenaam en comfortabel verblijf! Trouwens, roomservice is een aanrader!!

Instead, it felt quite limited and fairly modest I was a bit disappointed with my experience at Nobu Hotel Barcelona. The hotel felt quite worn, with scuffed floors, tired furniture, and an outdated bathroom. Considering the price, I expected a much higher standard.

Comfortable bed and the elegant decorations As many guests have pointed out, the in-room basis supplies are laughably limited, 2 coffee capsules, 1 teabag everyday, no body lotion, no soap at washing basin until the third day of our visit. The funniest thing is a small pack of Chinese made rice crackers as welcoming treats. We booked five nights stay at €270 each day, I was amused by seeing the “Wang Wang” small pack rice crackers on the pillow with a note saying that it was something representing Japanese culture. “Wang Wang” crackers are snacks that even poor kids in rural areas in the PRC can afford, not bad as a snack, but a bite for two adults are not even enough as a snack. Maybe a bowl of strawberries that cost €2 will do a better job in my humble opinion.

- Wiktoria (9/5): Pobyt na jedną noc - Najbardziej odpowiadała nam lokalizacja, ze względu na bliskość dworca. Pokój deluxe był naprawdę komfortowy i duży. Miał wszystkie udogodnienia potrzebne na krótki pobyt. Widok z pokoju też był super. Widać, ze hotel jest eksploatowany i za jakiś czas przyda mu się remont. Jak na hotel 5* z takim standardem uważam, że powinny być lepsze kosmetyki w łazience, bo niestety tego brakuje. Myślę też, że lokalizacja takiego hotelu przy dworcu, gdzie jest ciągły ruch, remonty, traci trochę na wartości ponieważ nie czuć tego klimatu samego w sobie oraz nie ma poczucia bezpieczeństwa. Klimatyzacja w pokoju bardzo głośna, a jak się wyłączy to duszno ale to chyba klasyk jeżeli chodzi o klimatyzację w hotelach.

Unf - There is a nice view over Barcelona from the rooftop bar. What I didn’t like was that I stayed in one of the most expensive rooms, yet the soundproofing was very poor. There was only a simple connecting door between my room and the next one, so I could hear everything from next door, even normal conversations, as well as the TV, music, and laughter. The air conditioning was quite loud, which I first thought would be a problem, but during the night it actually helped block some of the noise from the neighbouring room. Although my room was on the 21st floor, there is a major construction site next to the hotel, and the noise during the day was very disturbing. Even with the windows closed, it was still clearly audible. The hotel never mentioned this in advance or apologised for the inconvenience. I was also disappointed that there were no bathroom cosmetics such as body lotion or similar amenities. For a five-star hotel in Spain, and one of the most expensive hotels in Barcelona, this is simply unacceptable.

Het uitzicht vanaf de rooftop, bizar mooi :) We kregen een kamer met balkon waar kunstgras lag en wanden van 2,5 meter zonder uitzicht. Belachelijk dat je zoveel geld betaald en ze ons daar zouden laten slapen. Na wat onderhandelen mochten we voor 50 euro upgrade, exact dezelfde kamer.. maar dan op verdieping 21 omruilen. Raar dat we hier geld voor moesten betalen.

Muy recomendable Que tanto en recepción a mi llega como un día que baje al spa me coincidió que me atendieron dos personas que no hablaban español pero eso si gente muy amable.

- Kari (6/5): Not worth the price - The location is convenient (close to the train station) and the beds are quite large. Towels and tea provided on arrival was a nice touch. When we got to the hotel, despite carrying a large duffel bag we were not offered help carrying our bags to the room. The room did not have any lotion and had very limited toiletries for a 5 star (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash only). The shower is open without a door, so it leaked all over the floor from just 2 short showers, requiring multiple towels to mop up and making the marble extremely slippery. There was also some noise from the streets and from other guests late at night. When one of the guest experience employees was asking people on the roof how their stay was, they skipped past only our table, and when I emailed Nobu to discuss my issues (after our stay) they politely thanked me for the feedback but said at this time there is nothing they can do. Overall the hotel was not bad, but the experience was not what I would expect from a 5-star or a hotel in this price range.
