- Abdullah (3/5): Unfortunately, there has been a significant decline in the hotel’s standards. - I loved this hotel because I used to stay there every year, but its standards this year were poor. The room cleaning service was extremely slow. One of the reception staff members was very rude and arrogant, and it was very clear that he had forgotten he was a receptionist and should maintain higher standards of professionalism and courtesy. Furthermore, the hotel management did not handle the situation professionally.

Hospitality staff basically called us stupid because I couldn’t make the broken coffee machine work. Three star hotel in five star clothing. We literally had to change rooms twice. The first room was filthy, the carpet was dirty, and I smelled awful. The second room wasn’t much better. The furniture seemed like it came from a yard sale. After upgrading for 200 Euros a night. The suite was a little better. Still with uncomfortable silly furniture, and lighting was horrible. Avoid

The property is stunning — modern, beautifully decorated, and impeccably maintained. The amenities are top tier across the board, right down to the Japanese toilet in the bathroom, which is one of those delightful surprises that tells you a hotel has thought of everything. Food-wise, this place delivers on every front. Breakfast was excellent — generous, fresh, and beautifully presented. The gourmet dinners, however, were in a league of their own. Sophisticated without being fussy, and genuinely memorable. What elevated this stay from great to unforgettable was Umut, the manager. He went above and beyond in every sense of the phrase. He helped me purchase train tickets to Salzburg and personally walked me through how to take the metro to the airport — the kind of hands-on, genuine assistance you simply don’t expect from hotel management. He treated me like family, not just a guest. For anyone visiting Munich, this is where you want to be. Five stars — and a special thank you to Umut.y

During check out 2 guys at the reception assured me that the 1st summ was only held and will return to my cart in max 3 days. 2 weeks has passed. - Kay (9/5): - Das Personal und die Ausstattung des Hotels ist überragend. Die Betten sind sehr ungewöhnlich, da die Matratzen sehr weich sind und nicht die übliche Härte haben, welche mehrheitlich gefällt. Die Matratzen sind wohl aus Federn, welche täglich massiert werden müssen, man liegt ständig in einer Kuhle, nicht angenehm.

- rogerhga (8/5): nice hotel, lacks warmth - This is a lovely, well-appointed hotel located right at the main train station, which was very convenient for our travels to/from Munich. Our room was comfortable, but a little dusty and housekeeping was a bit inconsistent, although fine. Breakfast is nice, but a little crowded. Note, there are not many options for vegetarians. Overall, this is a large and excellent hotel, but the feel is a bit cold and impersonal.

- katstravel2022 (8/5): Sofitel Munich - We enjoyed our 3 day stay in Munich at the Sofitel Hotel. We selected this hotel based on its excellent reviews and its proximity to the main train station. You can’t get any closer to the train station unless you’re inside the station! Excellent care and attention were given by the hotel staff. The morning buffet breakfast was exceptional! The only negative we experienced was with the use of the spa area. Young children were present in the gym area and the spa’s indoor pool. This did not make for a relaxing “spa” experience. The hotel has a 5star rating with pricing that is expected but based on my experience if you’re wanting a stay with a relaxing spa experience this may not be for you.

- Pascal (9/5): Gediegenes Stadthotel - - Gediegenes Hotel - Freundliches Personal, man fühlt sich willkommen - Sauber - Die Lage ist okay (Zentrumsnähe und direkt beim Hauptbahnhof) - Kosten für Parking 46 Euro ist etwas teuer - Betten waren für unser Befinden viel zu weich und leider keine durchgehende Matratze - Zimmer war etwas klein (wir sind mit einem Kind und Hund gereist, das nächste Mal nehmen wir ein grösseres Zimmer)

- CherylandBrett (10/5): Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms - Perfection. A gorgeous hotel within walking distance of the Munich main tr add in station. Room are silent, large windows with beautiful views. Desk, lighted closet, padded hangers, safe. The bathroom has a large shower, lovely lotions, and bathrobes. We will definitely be back.

- kevlindeman (10/5): Very nice hotel near train station - Great location, friendly and accommodating staff, very nice room, but dark and confusing light switches everywhere. Would be good to have a main switch that turns them all on and off - as well as the 20 switches located around the room. Love the bathroom space for two people with an early flight. Nicely appointed rooms. Appreciate the cool room temperature for good sleeping!
