Eady to reach to grand bazaar, blue mosque, ayasofia, spice bazaar , topkapi palace, etc finally to all what a tourist should see. Best location i mean. Also the staff were amazing helpfull and trustfull. Superb breakfast with amazing view from tje rooftop terrace. Rooms have all what you need. Tooth brush with paste, make up cottons, sponge for shower etc.. thats all i say. Try it and get it.

- jessicaparton (10/5): An amazing hotel!!! - This hotel is an amazing hotel. The location is more than perfect. Just few meters away from Agia Sofia. Many restaurants around and the tram is so helpful to go anywhere. The breakfast of the hotel was so delicious with many many dishes to choose. Something that I had not seen before, is that the mini bar was free with refreshments and snacks that were replaced every day. Clean and comfortable rooms, nicely decorated. Mr Hakan, the owner is a kind and helpful man . Definitely will return and for sure I recommend it. It was an excellent choice!!!!!
- chickiechef81 (10/5): Best hotel in Sultanahmet - This hotel is gem. This is a MUST stay for tourists. Its right in the area of all the major sites and a short walk to the T1 tram which goes through great parts of the city. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. The entire place was spotless. My room was comfortable and modern. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I slept great every night. There is a smart TV in the room which allowed me to watch my favorite YouTube channels from my own account and Netflix when I was resting after my busy days, which was great, it brought the comfort of home since I was traveling alone. There is a cute rooftop with great views of the sea and surrounding area, including the blue mosque which is illuminated beautifully at night. There was a great breakfast every morning up there too. I couldn't have asked for a better stay. I wish I was still there.... I would rate it higher than a 10 if that was possible. Do be careful if you cant navigate steps, there is no elevator. Which was really not a problem for me even though I suffer from a medical condition that severely effects my balance, The extremely, nice, helpful guys they have working there assisted me with my luggage and anything I needed going up or down the stairs without me even asking. If this property is available you must book here, will not be disappointed

Top location if you want to get the sight sees quick. The actual room was compact and clean. Thank you for the compliment after our departure ,it’s so sweet :)

- sandradB1683GE (8/5): A lovely stay! - Excellent quiet location in the old city within 5 mins walk to Sultanahmet for excellent transportation Excellent and comfy rooms BUT the breakfast room is at the top 4th floor with NO lifts - not good for people with mobility issues - breakfast was very generous BUT no options for gluten and dairy free items. Very generous with complimentary snacks and drinks All staff very very friendly BUT one male staff was aggressive in his approach to us when we tried to communicate with the other friendly male staff for booking transport to the airport - he bribed us to complete the TripAdvisor website review before allowing us to book the free shuttle bus to the airport!

It was in a terrific location in the center of everything the staff was warm and friendly and we felt like part of the family they helped arrange transportation for us to and from the airport and on day trips The hotel itself had a wonderful breakfast very appetizing and we got to eat breakfast on their wonderful rooftop the rooms were very comfortable we had balconies for the rooms and it felt very safe and comfortable we had two rooms that shared a little common space and had everything we needed as far as toiletries the beds were very comfortable

- nedkelly18 (10/5): Fantastic hotel in central quiet neighbourhood - Booked this hotel for my 50th birthday. Having read previous reviews our expectations were high. Luckily we were not disappointed! We went for a superior room on the third floor, over looking a quiet street. The room was spacious and clean with a free minibar containing soft drinks and snacks. The bed was huge with a nice firm mattress. Clean bedding and 2 different pillows each to choose from. There is a kettle in the room and provisions for tea and coffee making. The bathroom had a large walk in shower which remained at a consistent temperature. We had a private mini balcony. There is a roof top breakfast area with views over the Bosphorus and up again is a lovely seating area with views of both the river and the Blue Mosque. Breakfast was great, traditional Turkish food, also with more traditional European breakfast. It’s self serve. The staff have been lovely. The manager is knowledgeable about the local area so any questions just ask! He provided ideas for trips to make the most of our stay. Would I come back? Definitely! For the money paid it is very good value
- D686OAangelod (4/5): Bribery! - The hotel was at a push, okay, with a functioning bathroom and good room service. I'm afraid the niceties end there however. On our last night, I experienced a small red bedmite! Needless to say I couldn't sleep for the rest of that night. Furthermore, the breakfast was mediocre at best, with little consideration for those with more advanced palates. But worst of all, as mentioned in many other recent reviews, we were bribed to give a good review, in exchange for a free airport transfer! This, paired with the constant display of drinking and smoking has put me right off this hotel, and I can confidently say I will be finding another hotel in the vicinity, as Angel's Home has ruined my otherwise fantastic first time experience of the city.

As a small and privately run hotel, only a 5 minute walk from the Blue Mosque and on a popular street with numerous restaurants and shops, the price/quality relationship couldn’t be better. The extras, such as a minibar with gratis drinks and snacks daily restocked (for free) and a generous breakfast on the top floor terrace, make Angel’s Home a rock solid 5 star rating.

- Midori (2/5): - Please read before booking! I'm not a picky person and it takes a lot for me to give something 1 star but I want people to know! First, the pictures and distances that are advertised are fake. Out of all the pictures on here, I only saw the balcony one with the white chairs. The room looked totally different than the room I booked. The distance to the airport is about 1.5 hours NOT 40 minutes and the distance to the hospital (for any medical tourists) is 40 minutes (sometimes more). Secondly the bathroom is TINY. So small that you cannot close the door without hitting yourself. I'd really only recommend considering booking if you are fine with keeping the door open while you use it. The shower is also super small. I kept hitting my arms on the wall while washing my hair. We ended up having to book a new hotel (without a refund for checking out early) because we did come for a surgery and it was going to be really difficult to deal with that. Thirdly, one of the managers was very rude. He gave off misogynistic vibes and every interaction with him left a sour taste in my mouth. When I check out early he was making me feel stupid and while I was being polite he was laughing and seemed smug that I would not get a refund.

Excellent location withing walking distance to Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. Large and comfortable room for 3 people. The buffet breakfast on the roof with a 360 degree terrace is also very nice (view towards the Blue Mosque and the sea). Overall, highly recommended

It made exploring the heart of the city incredibly easy and enjoyable. One of the absolute highlights was the rooftop terrace. The view is simply breathtaking — overlooking the Bosphorus, the domes and minarets of nearby mosques, and the bustling streets below. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing, especially at sunset. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and great tips for getting around the city. The breakfast was also very nice, with a good selection of both local and international options to start the day. Overall, Angel’s Home Hotel gave us everything we needed: comfort, a warm atmosphere, and a truly authentic Istanbul experience. Highly recommended!

We received a complimentary room upgrade to a higher floor which was much appreciated. Restaurants are just around the corner.

I recommend it and Rakan and all the staff makes you welcome everything was handy restaurants visiting monuments and the best vue from the terrasse .

- Verified traveler (6/5): Review - The hotel is situated in a very good location for the mayor tourists attractions. Near the tram station. A lot of restaurants around. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was very clean and a goid variety of breakfasts. The room was small, no wardrobe or even a drawer to organise our belonging. The 4 nights that we stay there the clothes were everywhere and in the luggage. The room window view was the back of the hotel where all the air conditioning motor were and the noise in the evening didn't allowed us to open the window. We feel like we were in a sotano.

- James (10/5): Angel's Home is my Home in Istanbul! - Absolutely the best place to stay in Istanbul!! My Dad and I spent 5 nights here. The best view of the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus you could ask for on the roof top. Wonderful breakfast served every morning with smiles. Friendly staff greeted us every time we came and went, helped to arrange everything we needed from tours to Hamam visits. Great price, safe, comfortable, clean and close to everything you want to see in this fantastic city!! I will be coming back next time I am in Istanbul!

- Michal (10/5): The best boutique hotel in Istanbul - What can I say.... Other than oh my God. I hope every single hotel we stay at would have such a wonderful and helpful staff. The location of Angel's House is just fantastic. Surrounded by many fantastic and reasonably priced restourants. Within a walking distance of Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. And if you are looking for a great view of Blue Mosque, the hotel has a fantastic view from their terrace. The guys working front desk where just extraordinary. Ready to help and give advice. Anything from calling you a cab to the airport all the way to getting a tour plan ready for us. The hotel also provide a PCR test with the same day result (if done before 12pm) and nurse comes to the hotel in the morning so you don't have to go anywhere. Really convenient. The room was immaculate, spacious, with massive and super comfortable bed. Bathroom equally clean and spacious with all bath essentials and (actually) fresh towels available. Also in the room, there is a fridge minibar with some snacks and kettle with a selection of tea and coffee. The breakfast served at Angel's House was in par with the quality of the rooms. Fresh, with a great choice of different dishes, salads, fruit, cereal and drinks. If you are looking to stay in Istanbul, this is hands down the best place.

- Brian (8/5): Nice hotel with friendly service - Cute little hotel close to many sites and tourist spots. Ww arrived at 11:00 am and were quickly checked in and ushered into our waiting room. Breakfast was good and the view from the terrace was nice. One complaint, the beds were uncomfortable. Our "king" bed was two smaller beds pushed together and the matress did not support my back.

- A (10/5): - My wife and I were visiting Istanbul and stayed for 3 nights. The hotel staff is helpful and the hotel itself is beautiful. A bit old construction but it does not affect your comfort at all. Very comfortable, clean and affordable place if you are visiting Sultanahmet. The breakfast is good but could be improved. We checked out at 11:30 am and left our luggage with the staff as our hired taxi to the airport was booked for 5:30 pm. They took care of the luggage until we went to the Grand Bazaar for shopping. - Verified traveler (2/5): - The property was in a bad location where it was ghetto guys staring at girls up and down whistling and a bunch of stray dogs barking and running around the property, The manager owner was extremely rude after we told him we smelled mold in the room and it was obvious in the corners of the rest room and the walls and when we told them that we didn’t want to stay there because we are allergic to the smell and it’s unsanitary they said well you can leave and you’re not getting your money back, I would not recommend this property to anyone be aware they are a total fraud

Roof top breakfast views amazing and an excellent selection of food to chose from for breakfast Our room however was a little cramped but did have an outside area for my partner to smoke. We arranged for someone else to stay for one night and her room was lovely and spacious with a balcony so we were a little disappointed with the size of ours ... didn't spoil our stay though. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to this wonderful city as its situation is perfect ...far enough away from hustle and bustle but only minutes walk to be part of it... will just put in a special request for a larger room next time. Fully recommend to anyone.

Tea and snacks are all time free for you and for your guests. Staff and the owner himself very good. Look like a family. My stay was for five nights and i really enjoyed s lot. Very tasty and healthy breakfast. I can never forget the lady with smiling face serving breakfast. Mr. Salami, Mr. Barish and all other staff were very helping and nice. - Amylou (8/5): Great location - Angel's Home Hotel is in a great location in the Old Town area of Istanbul, behind the Blue Mosque and a short walk to all the main tourist attractions in Sultanahmet. The hotel is very cute and the room well appointed, but my room was a little run down will peeling wallpaper. No information was given about the hotel facilities on check in and the roof terrace was very disappointing, not being open for use in the evening. There was also no lift to my part of the hotel.

Breakfast was ok - room and bathroom facilities were good. But overall comment would be try somewhere else - there are many boutique hotels in the same street that look very nice - we will try one of them on our next visit.
