• Chloé (9/5): - Hôtel super, bien placé, propre et moderne. Il faut installer une application sur son téléphone pour avoir la clé mais il est toujours possible d’utiliser un code pour ouvrir les portes. Très bien ! Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de déjeuner de proposer mais sinon top !

• Ayden (9/5): - They kindly upgraded me to a nicer room for no extra cost which I appreciated. The room was spacious, clean, and had a great view. The only issue was the bathroom door being broken (it came off the rail). Aside from that small issue, everything was great. I recommend.

• Laura (9/5): Super! - nice area, kind and helpful staff, cozy and clean room (really nice tv, mini fridge, hairdryer, shampoo/conditioner/shower gel, tea/coffee) 2/3 mins by walk from the train station 15/20 mins with public transport from all the main attractions
• Valery (1/5): Horrible experience. Avoid it. - nothing Horrible experience. Avoid it. I had no expectation apart of place to sleep and shower, even with that it didnt work well. There is no noise insolation at all, you will hear everything 24/7, barely slept with an earplugs. Shower is leaking. Lack of daylight in the room (very small window). They wont allow to check in before 2pm and will offer you to pay 20$ for every hour if you want to check in earlier. And Ive got a refund of deposit, which they charge additionally at the check in only after I reminded them 2 weeks after check out date.

• Julie (8/5): A little away from the heart of the CBD but convenient enough to get to places via public transport - Close to Train station and lots of food options nearby including 2 major supermarkets. Bed was comfortable, not too soft. Airconditioning in the room. Was a bit noisy at night due to bars nearby. Only one small lift that was very slow. Shower water drained a little slow and would accumulate on the floor.

• Brenda (7/5): - When we had booked in, we were told our room was on the 5th floor and the lift only goes to the 4th floor, so we had to go up flights of stairs with suitcases to our room.The security fee of $100 was taken out of bank account at booking in-not credit card details held if needed.

Had a room to keep our luggage while we picked up a rented car We had travelled 25 hours to get to Sydney with lot of luggage and was put on floor 5 and the lift only went to floor 4 so we had to physically carry 2 30kg cases plus our other luggage up a set of stairs after over 25 hours of travel and being absolutely shattered. No one to help and despite seeing virtually no one else staying in the hotel wasn't offered a different room for ease of stay

• Benz (5/5): - On the last day, I didn't have the room cleaned. I put the do not disturb sign as I am having a sleep in. Then I left at 11.30 and changed the sign to make up room. I came back to the otek at 5.30 pm and the room wasn't cleaned. I assume cleaning is still happening throughout the hotel and I would expect the housekeeper would check again to all floors. Also when you take a shower the water would leak out of the shower and flood the bathroom

The telly was not working in room 104 and there wad a musty smell. I was moved.to another room then which was OK.

Actually surprised by how well we enjoyed the stay. - Don’t expect 5 star rooms with a view because that’s not what you paid for, but expect a great location, lovely staff, the most comfortable bed, fantastic shower, wifi brilliant and also amenities like shower gel, shampoo etc which were great. The rooms are a bit dated. Please don’t be put off on first impressions. There is no view from the room, but leaving the blind opened gives in enough light to make the room feel bigger and brighter.

• Donna (9/5): Would stay again. - Fabulous location. It was so easy to get to the train station and around Sydney from here. Lovely atmosphere, efficient staff. Very neat and tidy. It could be a little noisy at times. Sounds carry from other rooms. Some guests have very loud voices! Overall though, they manage that as best they can.

Although our first night was uninterrupted, the second night (Friday) felt like we were part of the party with the music (bass vibrations) going until 0330, with neither of us being able to sleep well.

Upon arrival we walked in after police rescue as they were opening up the lifts where people were stuck (previous reviews seen about this happening). We got taken to our first room it was so tiny the window had a small cube outdoor space that was fully bricked so you couldn’t see out. Walked into the bathroom and there was mould all in it. Went out and paid for a room upgrade. Already paid $400 for 2 nights to pay an extra $120 for the upgrade. Went to the new room was still disgusting. There was a hole in the bottom corner of the room, the shower still mouldy but not as bad. Shower head was putrid. Marks all down the shower as if it hasn’t been cleaned. The toilet was leaking water around the base of it. The floor was disgusting. I went down and said that my mum and I didn’t feel comfortable staying and we wanted a refund and go somewhere else. The lady there spoke to her manager on the phone and came back saying they could only refund the upgrade price ($120). I had a major surgery the next night and would be staying in hospital, therefore we just stayed as I was only there for 1 night. My mum or I showered (due to how unclean it was) while there and didn’t walk around barefoot. I went and bought disinfectant wipes to wipe that handles and light switches etc as I couldn’t feel comfortable knowing it wasn’t at least wiped down where I was touching. Mind you when I was talking to the lady at the desk a couple staying walked in and also said “yeh people get stuck in the elevators too”, I also had another couple say to me while I was waiting that they could hear people people above them at all times during the night. I’m extremely disappointed as the photos do not at all show what you will see in person. And it is sad that the lady at the front desk, when I showed her the photos agreed with me that it’s gross.

• Christiaan (7/5): Voor ligging een goede optie als je de stad wil bezichtigen. - De locatie in het centrum van Sydney. Het zit dichtbij een metrostation. De badkamer was erg klein en we keken uit op een binnenplaats met airco ventilatoren.

In the first room we stayed in there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke coming from the bathroom both days. The smell was so bad that we had to ask reception to move us. Reception offered us no support with moving (moving bags) and moved us to a worse room. In the second room there were issues with the air conditioning and it kept leaking. The staff mentioned they would speak to a manager about the issues with the first room but this never happened despite asking to lodge a complaint about the way the smoke smell was dealt with. Very disappointing level of service. The shower also leaked.
