- Thorpe (6/5): - Could be a very nice little apartment if updated, Needs updating! wallpaper in bedroom hanging off, no natural light so needed lights on all the time. The mattress and bedding needs replacing had holes and buttons missing. Had to go out and buy a brush and dustpan to sweep up especially as the brick walls where crumbling and bits kept falling on us so had to sweep up main room daily. I staying for 2wks and had to go ask about emptying bins after I'd been there a wk as I'd filled them and a cleaner hadn't been once they eventually turned up halfway through my second wk there 🫣. I had to buy cleaning products, loo rolls, kitchen towel, saucepan, knife just so I could cook a simple meal all of which I left in the apartment. Couldn't use the freezer bit of fridge as it was fully frozen over. A piece if the shower screen fell off and hit my partner! We only had 1 towel and hand towel for 2 of u? And don't get me started on the transfer fiasco to the hotel! I'd have been lost without my turkish partner to sort it out

Номер соответствует фото, удобная кровать, хорошее расположение. Есть чайник, газовая плита, посуда. Немного шумно по вечерам, хотелось бы более плотные шторы.

- Keith (6/5): Great in many ways, but the bed is awful - Good location. Close to restaurants, shopping, and bus stops where you can go anywhere. Hot shower with good pressure!! Refrigerator and some kitchen equipment. Outside entrance was nice and nights were mostly quiet. Plain and simple, the bed. Worse mattress and pillows I’ve experience in a year of travel. Springs in the mattress poking into me all night. Prisons have better mattresses

- Hamza (9/5): All in all great - The staff were very nice, friendly and easy to get on with. Helped every time I needed something. Water and heating worked. Walking distance from Taksim and public transport. Shops all around the area. The apartments were clean and good facilities all in all. The studio is tiny. My fault for booking it but can't move if you have a suitcase. The second apartment was spacious but the shower was broken so it didn't work properly at all. Parking was very hard and risky in the narrow streets. Rental could have been hit or scratched.

- Natalia (7/5): Thanks for good service, write next to the "apt with a terrace" that in reality it's the cellar room - Nice rooms, but only on top floors with balcony. Location is s bit shabby (some homeless and refugee beggars around); on the other hand it's the center, so most touristy places are located close-by. Good cleaning, very helpful staff, English speaking. I booked an appartment with a terrace and was disappointed when we were settled into cellar rooms. No windows (!), a door to a small dirty spot outside overlooking the walls; broken washing machine, a bit dirty bathroom. I complained, and the staff members promised to find smth else. After 3 days they moved us to rooms on the top floor (at a small extra cost) with a nice balcony, windows, cosy bedroom, good kitchenette and nice bathroom. We spent the rest 5 days there and it was nice. So, the first impression not great, but ultimately it was fine.

- Daniyal (10/5): Exceptional - The staff, Ersin, Hasan, Guner. These people are gems and available for you 24/7 round the clock making them the most professional people ever. They were always there to help and discuss my issues in general. I was stuck in another city but Ersin was in contact with me and made sure I made it back safely. These people are like family.

There are no complaints about the room and the hotel, everything is very good. The only thing, unfriendly indifferent one of the receptionists, the second man was very kind and helpful. Convenient that the manager is always on the message and speaks good English. 1)it was close to Tarlabasi. 2) going up a hill with suitcases is a bit of a struggle. The hotel is located in a disadvantaged area of Istanbul, despite being close to tourist spots. We came to Istanbul on business (my daughter was taking a language exam) and during the trip we had to walk along Tarlabaşı boulevard several times. Every day in 5 minutes from the hotel on the boulevard we met prostitutes, homeless people and a lot of transvestites. There is horrible rubbish everywhere. This is not the fault of the hotel, I just want to warn those who are uncomfortable with such a neighbourhood.

Really helpful and always nice staff, they helped us to get around, plan our trip (even away from istanbul) and organized transport for a reasonable price (to the airport for example). The only minor points are: The bed was slightly uncomfortable and there was tiny bit to less space to dry the towels.

- Catherine (6/5): It was ok, just book your tours somewhere else. - The staff really tried to help us with everything, super friendly. The breakfast on the corner cafe was quite nice as well. There was a huge cockroach in our kitchen on the first night and the beds weren’t very comfortable. The tours that they offer at the reception are horrible. We did 2 of them and both were really bad quality. It’s a bit far from everything and as the transportation there is quite complicated this can be an issue.

- Kashif (5/5): Terrible staying due to one while night was awaked due to water dripping from ceiling 3’O clock in m - Cleaning The apartment in basement three floor down, I booked for three nights , 2nd night I can midnight after two hours water starting dripping from the ceiling in one corner exactly above the electric box, I could not sleep whole night , unable to contact due to Wi-Fi was switched off and mobile signals was not covered due to basement. In morning 9’O clock lady came to clean other apartment. I showed her and they promised me when I will come back in afternoon you will get your room clean from water , all floor was full of water. When I came they didn’t clean after waiting two hours they clean and I entered the room.

- A. (10/5): Great place to stay in an OK area. - The staff were flexible in changing our booking to a better one, at a good discount. The place was well maintained we had good attention to details, the apartment had small items that you would want to have and saves you a lot of trips to the supermarket. Despite the great diversity in the breakfast menu and friendliness of the staff, the amounts were not as we expected based on the reviews from bookings. Also we arrived at the breakfast area at 8:05 and the staff not all of them were there so we had to wait for about 25 minutes to get the breakfast. Inside the apartment the tub was very small. Also, location look like it was safe despite the fact that we didn't face any problems and there was a lot of security equipment inside the building. What was good about it though is that it is very close about 7 minutes walk to a very vital tourist shopping location.

- Francesco (5/5): Passable - I was disappointed. The apartment i received, far from having a terrace, was in a basement, below street level, with the openings facing a wall like 2 m away. Additionally, they don't have a parking, just suggest you to park in the street (which is close to impossible) or, paying extra money, in one of the parking lots around.

They told me to park on a street and in the morning a man was very angry and violent becaus I blocked his bazar business. - insuportabile dampness smell in the rooms - stuff was unable to help me to open a blocked door or to find parking slot - there is no isolation between building staircase and the bedroom. You can hear every sound from the exterior - a lot of windows and doors unisolated to the street, you cannot keep your goods safe inside. - bedroom has space only for the bed - narrow corridor

- Dawid (7/5): Good - Everything was there what u need for living, location is near a main street and bus stops so u can reach everything pretty fast with the istambul card. It was clean, my room was underground without windows at first it seems bad but I actually liked to sleep there, no sounds or lights disturbing my sleep. Big no go is making a mistake with them, they won't forgive you cuz money smells too good for the berry team. I accidentally booked my room one day before my arriving I tried instantly to cancel my booking but they didn't want to (for info I was out of season and the room wasn't booked anyways so I didn't mistakly took place of others it was empty and would stay empty) so I had to pay for a room I wasn't there. Second big negative thing is their washing machine, after spending 10min in Google translater to figure out how it's working I had to find a place to hang my washed clothes and the place is just not existing, no line, no air cuz underground, my clothes have been wet for around 48h. Third small thing I would like to change would be some automatically air refresh they cheap works with battery cuz everytime u enter the underground room it smells moldy and just bad, after some min u get used to it. Thanks anyways

Actually, I highly recommend this place for short or long periods of stay , I'm sure that everyone will have a great experience dealing with such a very nice staff plus enjoying the quite , wonderful place. Staff is excellent & does help out on any requests , they go out of there way. As its on a busy street its quite noisy even past midnight, they may need to invest on good matresses its just my preference as I am used to soft.

- Ali (3/5): a bad experience - the location is good the staff try to be helpful - washing machine and air conditioner were broken - water of the shower was 2 minutes super cold than 2 minutes super hot - if you order breakfast yourself, it will be more reasonable -there isn't any window and natural light in basement units (the pictures that seem to have a window are tricky) - humidity and smell in the basement units were sickening (my laptop got problems due to this place’s 100%humidity) -advice to the owner: close all basement units; they should be stores, not rooms to rent; you should choose between earning money from these unliveable rooms or ruining the score of your whole place.

- Samadvosough (7/5): Good - housekeeping service was poor. we needed to a hairdryer but it was provided late. there were very cats in the kitchen, and they disturbed us.

- siddharthchatrath (10/5): Cosy and comfortable ! - We had a great time at Istanberry apartment. The apartment was comfortable and had all the amenities including some washing liquid, pasta in the fridge, some chocolates as well. The staff was very hospitable and was always ready to help with everything. The office was open round the clock and they had information of everything around. I will recommend this place to anyone who is traveling. The place is very close to Taksim square and the nearest bus stop which can be well suited if you are looking to travel by local transport.
