• Christine (10/5): A little pricey but worth it. - The staff were very helpful and happy. The pool area, although small, was good. At the time of our stay there was a free welcome Singapore sling drink. Comfortable beds and pillows. Lovely bathroom. Only 1 small issue. It looked like the bedroom air on had been leaking and was pooling under the floor boards. This was reported and maintenance did check it out straight away.

It has also a great location as Lau Pa Sat is 2 mins away walking and Merlion Park (arnd 7-10mins walk). Pool was okay, just didn't prefer the see through pool on the side like an aquarium.

We walked to our main destinations, i.e. the Asian Civilisations Museum and the Sands Theatre. Room service hours were fairly limited, but this is a MINOR thing, as it's meant to be a serviced apartment concept.

• William (7/5): Very comfy bed but room needs updating - Very comfortable bed, washer was great. The level 19 facilities were great and much appreciated - good wardrobes with lighting inside. No usb ports anywhere in room - no bedside reading lights. There were so many light switches, we struggled to get lights turned off and had to take the main card out, turning all the power off (including the noisy air conditioning). Too many switches not relating to the light near you. Very frustrating. Terrible view of the neighboring office building wall. Lifts beside our room were noisy. The building is obviously old and needs refurbishing. The nearby MRT station had lots of stairs so the location was not great for easy access. Too may doors in the bathroom (1 for toilet area, 1 for shower and 1 for main entry to bathroom,didn't like the huge window opening the shower to the bed room, even though there was a blind.

• Tripti (9/5): Comfortable and convenient stay - The property is conveniently located near to Marina Bay Area and MRT station is just right around the corner. Good sized clean rooms, check in and check out process was smooth. A lot of food markets within walking distance, specifically lau pa sat.

Location was great: train station easy access to/from the airport, Lau Pa Sat Hawker Center a short walk, close to Chinatown by foot as well as Merlion Park and Marina Sands Bay. Room was nice size with 2 large closets. The refrigerator is quite large with a freezer bottom. The in room clothes washer doubles as the dryer. Powder laundry detergent included. Takes a very long time to wash and dry. Lobby smells wonderful! The bathroom was small, very tight for 2 people using vanity together. Water ran out of bath tub/shower area every time. We had to keep a towel there for each use.

It’s also close to the vibrant Chinatown district and right next to the Lau Pa Sat food court, which is very convenient. The hotel is starting to show its age. Our room was dark, with no view, facing directly onto the wall of a neighboring building. Our room also had a very unpleasant smell.

Thr vibrant atmosphere is free. Also maybe the cheapest cold beer in town... Back to the hotel review... Our suite was huge. At first i thought too big, but we soon got used to it and found it a welcoming base to return to, very comfortable & very relaxing with great facilities & view. Room 1807 also had an outside terrace with seating (it is however in need of some repair). Staff were welcoming and efficient and we gained early access to our room. The bar near the lobby was inviting and offered guests complimentary drinks during happy hour.- 5-6 pm. Check the black board for details. Pool on 19th floor looked interesting, with a pleasant sundeck. There's a gym too. The hotel wifi is excellent. It does have a faded grandeur about it but dig a little deeper and its an excellent base with lovely personnel. Would recommend. Bedroom 1807 terrace floor boarding needs reinforcing. The landings also need a lick of paint.

• Kelly (4/5): Verify your view before booking - The location of the hotel was close to the marina and also Lau Pa Sat, but being in the financial district was just ok. You need to walk a ways to get to anything. If the offices are closed (weekends and holidays), the area businesses are closed too - as was the hotel bar on Good Friday. THE VIEW FROM OUR ROOM! Or, more precisely the lack of it. In all the years that we have traveled, in the USA and abroad, we have NEVER had a worse view!!! There aren't full windows - just 3 higher windows that faced a BRICK WALL from the building next door.It made the room dark all the time. We couldn't tell if it was sunny, raining, morning or night! Additionally, the only ice available was from a small table top unit on the 19th floor THAT DIDN'T WORK. To pay in excess of $300 per night for this view is unfair.

But overall location is exceptional. Having lapau sat right behind and the harbour/river right there is amazing. Front of house service was disappointing.. Two females lugging their own bags up those steps wasn't the arrival i expected at those prices. But great service by all other staff. Reception was great, as was housekeeping.

• Journey823198 (10/5): A great place to stay while in Singapore - Loved staying at Ascott Raffles Place! The staff were very helpful and treated us like family. The apartment was always clean. Everyone there was so nice to us and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again.

We were also a short walk from the marina activities. The gardens and super trees are a must see. There was a wonderful collection of Botero sculptures in the gardens. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were so helpful. We tried the buffet breakfast once-it was good. No complaints.

The swimming pool was good and generally empty, too. The photos are at least ten years old and the place is dated. It’s not uncomfortable but it could be cleaner and much more up to date.

• Alexander (1/5): Cutler Suites anything but Sweet - The location was the only thing going for it Old , tired , needed updating , redecorating and a refurbishment. The paint needs replacing and the property did not feel clean. The room did not match the photos online. We were given Room 601 small windows directly looking at the wall of the next building. There was work drilling and sand blasting the walls next to our room. When we complained they claimed to know nothing about it . When we asked to move rooms they only offered us 1201 which had the same issue. Not impressed.
• Karen (4/5): Very nice location. And the staff makes sure the guests needs are met. - The hotel is in a good location. Walkable to many attractions. The staff were very attentive and met our needs well. The first room was poorly maintained. There were several issues. The staff cleaned up well but there were so many issues the hotel kindly upgraded our room to their suite, which was marvelous. And at no additional costs which made up for the first room.

She showed me around the room and explained to me how to use the machine and notices.When Sunday we were invited to an event together with friends from Ascott.Such a wonderful experience here. And also thanks to a lazy who helped me with housekeeping.All very kind and nice.Highly recommend this hotel to my friends

• Dreamer30631376474 (10/5): Excellent location, comfortable room, and a truly home-like stay - The location is excellent and the room is wonderful. What I appreciate most is having a washing machine and the ability to prepare simple meals, which makes it feel just like being at home. The stay was so comfortable that it almost felt like living there. The reception staff are always welcoming and smiling, while still respecting guests’ privacy. They maintain a very nice balance and give just the right amount of attention, which makes the overall atmosphere extremely comfortable. It is always such a pleasant place to stay, and I look forward to returning whenever I visit Singapore.

Dommage que le sèche linge ne fonctionnait pas. C'était justement l'équipement qui nous intéressait. Et malgré 2 demandes pas d'intervention.
