El wifi es pésimo y conecta de a ratos pero no carga bien tiktok ni Twitter/X Calefacción: La descripción dice que incluye calefacción en zonas comunes y todo el hotel es un cubito. El aire acondicionado de la habitación a duras penas funciona y calienta lo suficiente. Las camas tienen unas mantas que deben datar de 1985 minimo. Camas: las almohadas son dos fetas de fiambre, duras y con mal olor. Las camas son duras y no en el buen sentido. Son colchones viejos que fueron quedando. Te despertas con dolor de espalda/cuello. Nos tocaron sabanas con agujeros. Cuarto: el 1970 llamó y quiere que le devuelvan sus habitaciones. NO HAY ENCHUFES. Hay dos enchufes en toda la habitación y solo uno está en un lugar utilizable. Los pisos son de ceramica, por ende son helados. El placard es un sucucho donde no entra absolutamente nada, no entran valijas tipo carry on ni de casualidad. Hay, en total, 5 perchas de plastico barato. La caja fuerte estaba rota. Baño: el bidet era un adorno y no funcionaba bien. La ducha y la pileta pierden agua constantemente. No se puede regular nunca la temperatura, pasas frío o calor. El secador de pelo debe tener mas de 30 años y esta puenteado al enchufe, por ende ese enchufe no es seguro de usar. El inodoro y el bidet estan tan mal ubicados que para una persona de contextura promedio quedan incomodos de usar. Las toallas son mas asperas que una lija. El shampoo, jabon y crema enjuague son todo lo mismo y son pésimos, traigan los suyos si tienen la desgracia de haber reservado acá. Desayuno: pésimo. El café es feo. El jugo de naranja es tipo Tang HIPER diluido. La oferta de comida es acotada y nada tiene buen aspecto. Las tortitas, la tarta de coco y las medialunas son HIPER secas, o peor, viejas y no son ricas. Recepción: la gente de recepción es super amable y saben mucho sobre su ciudad. Conclusion: No volvería ni con una orden judicial. EN 🇬🇧🇺🇲: The pictures and the description of the hotel do not match the reality. The WiFi connection is very unstable, and under no circumstances it will work if you want to watch tiktoks or scroll through Twitter/X Heating: the ad says that common places are heated, this is far from the truth. The whole hotel is constantly freezing. The AC from the room barely works, so the heating is limited and quite slow. The beds have blankets that look and feel +30 years old. Beds: pillows are razor thin, have funky smell and are quite hard. Beds are hard, and not in the ergonomic matress way, but in the old as time way. The matresses might be as old as the hotel itself. You will wake up with a back ache or a stiff neck. Some of our sheets had holes in them. Room: the 70's called and want their rooms back. There are no sockets. Only two of them can be found in the room, and only one is functional since the other one is almost on the ceiling. The flooring (tiles almost bathroom like) makes the room even colder. The closet has little to no space to put things on, no luggage can be fitted in there. Only 5 cheap plastic hangers in total. The safe is broken. Bathroom: the bidet was an ornament, it did not work properly. The shower and the sink leak constantly, and you can never get a decent water temperature so you end up going from too cold to too hot. The hairdryer is quite old, and its wires have been cut to be plugged directly to the socket on the wall, so that socket is no longer safe to use. The toilet and the bidet are located in a way that a mid sized person cannot comfortably use it. The towels are as coarse as beard stubble. The shampoo, conditioner and soap are all the same thing (and pretty bad) so, if you made the mistake of making a reservation here, bring your own. Breakfast: it sucked. The coffee is awful. The orange juice is highly diluted Tang. The food variety available is very little, and nothing looks particularly good. The croissants, pastries and pieces of cakes look dry as the dessert and the taste is not nice at all. One might even assume that some of the food being offered is old. Reception: the receptionist are kind and they know a lot about their city Conclusion: I would not come back even if I was forced by law

Thanks to her valuable Information, we have extended our stay by 3 days. Athough the hotel is very clean but poorly soundproofed. La recepcionista (Augustina) habla muy bien inglés y es muy servicial y profesional. Gracias a su valiosa información, hemos prolongado nuestra estadía de 3 días, aunque el hotel está muy limpio pero mal insonorizado.
- SpikerMom (10/5): Great location, quiet facing pool room - After a late night flight, we checked in and realized quickly overnight that the small bed was not going to work. The room was very small and window as well. Bathroom was very small as well. For one person would be fine. Next morning the wonderful Yvonne found a king suite with patio and large window/door to make the rest of our 4 day stay more comfortable. This review would have been much different without that change. The breakfast is a carb lovers dream. Cookies, crackers, breads - at least 20 kinds. Muesli, Cereal, Milk, liquid yogurt, coffee, hot:cold milk, and fresh fruit and real scrambled eggs round out the offering. The pool is nice, sheltered but the hot tub is cool too if that is important to you. The location is excellent and we walked everywhere. Had a wonderful dinner at Magnolia and recommend highly. We also did a AirBNB experience Food Tour with Boris/Fran that was so fun! Favorite wineries were Familia Cassone - amazing Malbec, the lunch pairing at Casa Vigil was an experience, and Norton wine blending and BBQ was a perfect day. We will be coming back.

- robertos535 (2/5): Stay due to flight cancellation - By coincidence I had the chance to stay at the hotel (flight cancellation) I arrived at the reception and had the feeling I was non existing. After this I was told that I perhaps couldn’t stay because of my Aconcagua trip/summit weeks earlier (carrying bugs with me or some kind of other animal) Furthermore I heard I was to share a room witha stranger. Next to this my room seemed more like a prison/basement. Perhaps I was unlucky/other persons have better experiences, but I felt very unwelcome (would definitely not advise climbers etc. to visit the hotel)

- Manuel (2/5): HOTEL MUY DEFICIENTE , EN TODO SENTIDO - Es un hotel pésimo, que aparte de tener una muy mala infraestructura, com o almohadas reventadas y colchones duros como palo, tiene una recepcionista de muy mal trato , la cual incluso trató de convencer al taxi que nos fue a buscar para llevarnos al aeropuerto que nos dejara botados para que lo ocuparan otros pasajeros. Mujer desagradable, poco empática y mala persona, que no debería atender público de ninguna manera. La piezas chicas, el baño diminuto , la TV chica y de mala calidad . Solicité que nos ayudaran con el aire acondicionado, y jamás llegaron a hacerlo. El desayuno regular, siempre igual, con muy poca variedad. De los 4 tostadores de pan 2 no funcionan, hay que esperar una eternidad para lograr un pan tostado. Hay Hoteles mucho mejores en Mendoza por el valor que este hotel cobra. Finalmente, es un lugar ruidoso, que no cuenta con doble ventanal y que se hace insoportable dormir. Afortunadamente estuvimos sólo 3 noches que fueron casi insoportables por los ruidos, dureza del colchón, mala calidad de almohadas, estrechez de la habitación, falta de apoyo a requerimientos, etc.

Para um hotel de quase R$ 300,00 a diária deveria ser melhor. - Luis (4/5): Needs lots of improvement. - I had requested a double bed for me and my wife, but instead the hotel told us they only had two single twin beds available. The room was carpeted with an old rug, as opposed to the other rooms that appeared to have been remodeled and presented with tiled floor, which would have been given a cleaner and fresher look. Our roomed smelled like old carpet. The rooms was noisy and it was hard to go to sleep at night. The noise came from the other rooms and also from people outside the hotel. The staff was courteous, and specifically the morning female staff was friendly and accommodating with our belongings. The hotel had run out of spaces to park the car rental we had with us, nonetheless they provided with an alternative parking option two blocks away from the hotel. The hotel was close to the plaza, which made it easier to navigate by foot. The pictures in the website were deceiving. It was not worth the money spent for the night.

I would have recommended this hotel except the price mysteriously increased by 20% between when we checked in and when we checked out and paid the next day. The hotel eventually removed the extra charges after a half hour of debate.

- Veronica (8/5): Grato y bien ubicado - Despues de un impasse con respecto a la reserva antes del viaje, todo fue solucionado y finalmente la estadia estuvo muy bien, tuvimos una habitacion muy amplia, agradable, el desayuno es pequeño y el lugar en que se ofrecen los alimentos es pequeño para un comedor grande que alberga pasajeros de 2 hoteles (Carollo y Princess), piscina muy grata y el hotel entrega toallas para ella. hay parque en el mismo hotel, el personal amable. la ubicacion es excelente, recomendaria este hotel a otras personas aunque he oido y leido que otras personas han tenido problemas con la reserva tambien.

It was a good budget hotel and the staff were very nice and helpful. The room was basic and the breakfast was pretty good. Centrally located, walking distance to many restaurants, cafes and parks.

The wifi is extremely slow and practically unavailable in the rooms. The breakfast is ok and buffet style. Very conveniently located in the centre and with included parking.

- Argentine-tourist (8/5): All the basics and a bit more for a convenient price - My husband and I stayed at the Princess four nights and we are happy with the stay and the choice of this mid-range three star hotel. Location is perfect: one block from main square and the excellent hop-on-hop-off double-decker city tour bus, three blocks from the pedestrian street, plenty of restaurants just around the corner. The offer in October was very tempting: stay four nights and pay three, free transfers to and from the airport and free late check-out (depending on how full the hotel was). That meant we paid 700 Argentine pesos per day. The hotel has a comfortable lobby area and shares both the outdoor shamrock-shaped plunge pool and a patio area (deck chairs, metal tables and chairs where you can have breakfast) with the Carollo hotel, to which the Princess is almost an additional building. The owners live on the first floors of the Carollo building and are constantly supervising things. The staff is definitely an asset: experienced people chosen for their people skills and expertise rather than for their youth or pretty face. I can vouch for three with whom we had daily contact: Ana Maria is a specialist in customer service, Nina’s knowledge of the city is of great help when you have to move around (better than a GPS, she will tell you which bus to take and where to get off), and Angel is the restaurant expert. As I speak Spanish I can’t comment on their English. We got a triple room overlooking the street on what I would call the “mezzanine floor”, just above reception, which you access via a glass elevator. Cool. The room is a bit old-fashioned but in good conditions. There is an old box TV set high up on a corner, the mattresses were not new but firm enough, there were two types of pillows, there was a safety box in the small closet (you have to ask reception for the lock and key), good space for resting bags on, two large windows made up of small panes of glass in a wooden. The bathroom does not have a bath tub but only a shower and could do with more shelf space. Towels were not thread bare but need replacing or a whitener in the next washing. Hair dryer but no mini fridge in the room. Breakfast at the Carollo (accessed either through the pool yard or via a maze of corridors on ground floor) was adequate and buffet-type. Bread was only the packaged loaf variety, fruit was either a platter with whole apples/oranges or canned peaches and pears, one type of cereal (corn flakes), two types of yoghurt, varied and plentiful sweet pastries and biscuits or cookies, packaged orange or grapefruit juice, hard-boiled eggs and scrambled eggs. A word to the owners or managers: it is NOT acceptable to chop the previous days’ unused hard-boiled eggs and mix them with the scrambled eggs. Passengers notice and it is a bit like cheating, a real shame. Since we left on a Friday we had to vacate the room at 3 p.m., but that was understandable as there was a heavy influx of passengers for the week-end. The transfer to the airport was not exactly what we had been led to believe, since there are only three options: one in the morning, one in mid-afternoon and one in the evening. The incoming trip was via a transfer company at the airport: you tell them that you are going to the Princess and sign a voucher when the car drops you off at the hotel. We had free wi-fi signal everywhere in the premises.
- Workd Traveler (2/5): Travel Agent - In all my years of traveling the world I have never stayed in such a nasty hotel, the room smelled like an ashtray , no wifi, tv on the wall with no remote control and that was 1 room the second one offered was not any better the ac controlled by the hotel and a very small vent over all a very BAD hotel, I recommend " PREMIUM TOWERS " great staff great service clean well equipped room strongly recommend.
- Andy (6/5): A bit disappointing for a 3 star hotel. - We stayed in a triple room for a week and it was basically OK but my bed was very old and not really comfortable. The wi-fi worked (almost) properly what is not typical for Argentina. Some of the staff members were friendly and helpful (mostly female) and could speak some English while some other (male) could not speak at all and was even impertinent about that (we are in Argentina and we speak Spanish). Breakfast so-so, coffee awful. Location is good but the street is busy and loud in the night. Better windows would help. Generally I expected more from 3 star hotel.

We travelled with our 2 children aged 5 and 2 and the hotel staff could not have been more helpful. The pool and outdoor area are lovely and the breakfast serves the purpose. Great value.

Breakfast was very average, coffee was awful and if you don't speak Spanish you'll struggle here as the staff don't speak English.

Our room opened onto the courtyard and was very quiet as a result.A casino across the street 8 restaurants on the next block.... a quick walk to Plaza Independencia and the pedestrian shopping mall, with many outdoor cafes to choose from .

- Rick (2/5): You can do much better! Don't waste your time on this hotel. - This is a very tired hotel with a front desk clerk that tries to manipilate the prices and over-charge. The housekeepers were very nice and helpful. I think they realized the desk clerk was killing their business. We stayed at El Portal and we highly recommend it!
