• Teresa (10/5): Professional staff, nice accommodations, but high price for no amenities outside of the room. - The area it is located in is very high-end. The suite and bathroom were a nice size. The linens were of good quality. We were provided robes, but not slippers. The next hotel we stayed at provided both, which was a nice touch. Rafael and the staff were very accommodating and polite. I had to provide my flight information and time of arrival when I made the reservation. In hindsight, I am not sure why, if the room wasn't going to be ready at that time anyway. I would have liked to check in upon arrival. We had an overnight 8-hour flight. When we arrived, we were told that the room would be ready in an hour and a half. So we left and occupied ourselves, waiting for the room. When we returned, we still had to wait another 30 minutes. We were exhausted, and we would have liked to lie down upon arrival. On our third day, we went to Versailles, where we stayed at the Le Louis Hotel. We arrived at 11:00 a.m. Check-in was simple, and the keys were immediately handed to us. We both commented on how nice it would have been to have it right after our long flight. Also, the elevators are child-sized. It took 2 trips to get to our room with 2 people and 2 suitcases.

• 28katydid (10/5): A lovely hotel in Paris - This is a fine hotel in the inimitable Saint Germain section of Paris. In a quiet, urbane neighborhood teeming with wow shops and good restaurants within easy walking of the Seine, Musee d’Orsay, Louvre, Les Invalides (with Napoleon’s tomb) and Place du Concorde. Just a great spot. The hotel itself is lovely with a garden in its lobby and the most helpful, professional staff. Like Paris used to be. They make you feel welcome and want you to enjoy your stay.

• Paola (5/5): It was OK. - I had received an upgrade on arrival, but I did not like the room. Thankfully I was moved to the original room the next day. Most of the staff were kind and helpful. Sometimes, the room was not cleaned properly. Dirty cups forgotten in the room, quite a few sockets did not work and they did not replace coffee pods. Little things... Generally OK, but not up to standard for a four stars.

• Traveler631517 (10/5): Lovely hotel - The hotel was charming and perfectly located for walking to shopping, sites and restaurants. The staff was beyond accommodating, the service impeccable and the breakfast buffet extensive and delicious. One thing to note, the bath tubs are the typical European tubs with steep sloped sides, unlike those in the US. One of our elderly friends had trouble getting in and out of it and asked to be moved to a room with just a shower. She was pleasantly accommodated.

From reception to the room and amenities, the Hôtel des Saints-Pères is a "must stay" property. Though located in the heart of the bustling 6th arrondissement, the surrounding area is quiet as is the hotel. The front desk staff was exceptionally welcoming and had our rooms ready in spite of an early arrival. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The Hôtel des Saints-Pères is convenient to everything you might want to see in Paris. I highy recommend this property for anyone visiting Paris. My ony disappointment is that we only had two nights there before moving on to the next leg of our trip. I will definitely book this property on my next visit to Paris.

The rooms are very spacious with a lot of light and high ceilings. It is also good value if you add breakfast to your stay. But most of all the team are very helpful and knowledgable. They helped us with any kind of reservations and transportation needs. I strongly recommend this hotel and i’ll be sure to stay here in my upcoming trips to Paris.

Es liegt sehr zentral, ist sehr gut erreichbar, wirkt sehr gepflegt, hiess uns sehr willkommen, half uns für bei der Organisation von Stadt-visits, ist ruhig und verfügt über schöne, gut eingerichtete Zimmer. Ein reichhaltiges Frühstück kann eingenommen werden - aber auch nur Kaffee+Croissant. Es besteht eine grosszügige Flexibilität. Ein ruhiges Paradies an einer Seitenstrasse zu "La Grande Ville". Allex hat bestens geklappt - wir fühlten uns sehr wohl in diesem Hotel

• Marbaren (6/5): Very low ceilings (190 cm approx.) - I stayed a few nights at this hotel together with my friends. I will start with the positive things and then proceed to the downsides. PRO's: The Location: is great. It is less busy and packed with tourists than the area of 1 and 2 arr., for instance. You are close to nice shopping streets, Le Bon Marche, plenty of good restaurants and brasseries. Service: was very good as well. The staff was very responsive with a right attitude. Breakfast: I didn't have breakfast in the hotel, but my friends did. It is pretty basic, the breakfast room is small. I had my breakfast at Cafe de Flore which is just round the corner. CON's: The Room: the ceilings in the rooms are ridiculously low. With my length 178cm I had max 10 cm left to reach the ceiling. Mind you, it was a better room, because the first 2 rooms I was showed had even lower ceilings. I am wondering if it is allowed and there are no legal restrictions or architectural norms that regulate these aspects. Although I could walk in my room, it became challenging when I decided to take a shower. You need to step into a bath, meaning I couldn't stand straight and I had to bend over. To wash my hair, I had to sit on a squat. Not particularly an experience you expect from staying in a 4 star hotel. Cleanliness: the smell is musty, the smell of an old textile was disturbing. I complained at the reception and asked them to use home perfume in my room (they have a demonstration stand with home diffusers and candles in the lobby). I don't know if they used it in my room, but it didn't help. The smell persisted. The linens and towels are also not impressive. Cheap, worn out cotton sheets. Bathroom: no make-up mirror. The mirror above a sink is in a deep niche and it is impossible to apply the make-up, for example. Its appeared that the hotel has rooms in another building with the normal ceilings. That's were my friends stayed after they asked for an upgrade. Still, they also had something with a smell and 2 of them even developed allergy symptoms. Meanwhile, If you'll decide to stay in this hotel, ask for a room with the normal ceilings, otherwise you'll get a camping experience in the heart of Paris at the luxury-level pricing.

• wochinko (10/5): Hotel des Saintes-Peres has charm and location - Why would you want to stay anywhere else in Paris? This boutique hotel has abundant charm, excellent service, luxury linens, modern bathrooms, and rooms furnished with French antiques and art. Its location in the heart of the left bank can’t be beat. Walk to the Louvre, Musee D’Orsay, Notre Dame, and the cluster of nearby antique galleries and luxury shopping. Don’t miss the food hall at Au Bon Marche, Barthelemy’s cheeses, Poilane’s iconic bread/pasteries, or a 15€ glass of champagne at nearby Au Sauvignon. I never do!

The location, a block off Boulevard Saint-Germain, is perfect for this small inn in the big city. Morning breakfast is first class, and the rooms are well sized. Perhaps best of all is the exceptionally friendly staff. They are eager to assist with luggage, reservations, trip planning, and disclosing some of Paris’ local spots off the beaten tourist path. • lynnz794 (10/5): Fabulous Find! - We spent six nights at the hotel, Saint Perry, and couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The staff was very friendly, helpful and always acknowledged you with a welcome when you walked by. Our room was very quiet overlooking the courtyard with plenty of space (we did book a deluxe room). Our bathroom was large, modern, bright and had plenty of space for all of our toiletries, which is not found often in Parisian hotels. Heated bathroom floor as well as a heated towel rack made it extra cozy. Both sheets and towels were of fine quality. The hotel is located on a wonderful street full of small boutiques and just steps from the main boulevard, St. Germain De Près. We visit Paris often but usually hotel hop. We’ll no longer do that! From now on, it’s Hotel St. Peres for us!

• FezoRN (10/5): The perfect Parisian getaway - This is my “go to” hotel when I am in Paris…why tempt fate & try someplace new when I know the minute I walk through the entrance of the Hôtel des Saints-Pères I have arrived to a hotel that calls me by name & always surprises me with something new, reinventing itself, drawing guests in, never stagnant. This time it was the display of Carrière Frères candles & infusers, produced in Normandy, promoting & supporting a French industry. The display was discreet but certainly caught my attention, something to investigate while enjoying afternoon tea & cake in the lounge. Noticed too was the reupholstered furniture & pillows in the lounge, elegant fabrics, colors perfectly blended as only the sophisticated eye of the French could produce. I was told more is to come although I was surprised to hear that as I have never noticed any part of the hotel looking “tired” or worn. Reception continues to be staffed by a delightful group of people, Sarah, Eduardo immediately come to mind, led by Christian, the front office manager. Again, a 1st year student named Charlotte was behind the desk to greet us, my husband & friend who was a first time visitor to Paris. Charlotte’s spoken English was superb but it was her genuine welcome & demeanor that indicated to me she will go far in her chosen career. I’ve no doubt she is guided by the professional staff at the hotel as well as the outstanding female general manager, Carole, who is remarkable in her own right. There are no “cookie cutter” rooms at the Hôtel des Saints-Pères, each is unique, beautifully decorated, high quality bedding & linens, with adequate lighting & quality spa Codage products in the bathroom (I prefer bar soap to liquid, delivered daily when requested) in addition to a coffee/tea making tray. The showers are heavenly! Our room 111 overlooked the courtyard so a peaceful sleep was guaranteed. Breakfasts continue to delight me with their freshness, quality & presentation. The staff are attentive, present. Charles & Abdul are 2 men I enjoy seeing when I come to visit. Nothing is a bother or inconvenience for them; they are genuine in their desire to help guests start their day off with a smile & filled to the brim with strong coffee. And maybe a delicious croissant…or two, AND freshly squeezed orange juice that begs to be tasted. As I mentioned the food temptations are plentiful. After a busy day out how wonderful it is to arrive in time to have a cup or tea or coffee or something stronger at the bar where Rick manages all with ease. Freshly baked cakes & a cup of tea is my way to relax & give my feet a rest. This cozy reception area I’ve noticed is attracting more guests, informal business meetings occur & I fear they will be pressed for space if this continues. Fortunately there is an internal outdoor courtyard to escape to when the weather improves. Rick’s attention to his guests is impressive; he remembers names, including friends of ours who come to see us when we’re in town. It is always delightful to see him! I know my friend thoroughly enjoyed staying at the hotel with us as much as we enjoyed returning. If you happen to be a guest at the hotel you’ll be greeted with a flute, another “surprise” as the staff continue to re-invent themselves, stand out among a vast amount of competition; you will see a smile & feel a welcome unlike many other hotels in the city, a genuine warm welcome I hope you will see for yourself. • Sonia Maria (10/5): Paris with snow in Saint Germain des Prés! Sensational! - The location is perfect, the welcome is attentive, and the comfort is excellent. As I have been a regular customer at this hotel for many years, I think some of the apartments need some furniture renovation. In the one I stayed in recently, several doors were defective.
• INNA (1/5): И абсолютно искренне не рекомендую останавливаться в этом отеле. - Месторасположение. За много лет путешествий это первый отель, который без нашего согласия изменил бронирование с высокой категория номера до самой низкой. Так как у нас сняли деньги за первую ночь проживания, отель шантажировал нас что они не вернут деньги если мы не останемся у них дальше. Нам испортили с мужем поездку в Париж из Афин на Новый год. Нам пришлось не только срочно искать другой отель и переезжать туда со всеми вещами, но и главное что мы потеряли вечер и целый день на скандалы и выяснение причин такого хамского поведения и отношения. И еще абсолютно непонятно почему нам до сих пор не вернули около 100 € разницу между категориями номеров хотя обещали что это произойдёт в течение двух дней, но и отель делает вид что ничего не произошло, несмотря на то, что с нами разговаривала менеджер. Видимо просто делала вид своего участия. Номера старые, завтрак минимальный и не для четырёх звёзд. Окна, которые как пишется в категории выходят на улицу, на самом деле они выходят на улицу сразу в стену дома напротив. Единственным плюсом отеля является его локация.
• bradleyc704 (10/5): Great value, perfect location. Very french and wonderful staff. - A warm and cozy hotel that is perfectly situated in the 6th arrondissement on the border of the 7th. A few blocks away from literally everything...the best of Paris is at your doorstep from this hotel. Walk to the Louvre, D'Orssay, Bon Marche, and every major brand you can think of for shopping. Outside cafe's abound. Situated on a very quaint and quiet alley across the street from the late fashion designer Sonia Rykiel's residence. Our friends rented an apartment on one of the main streets and it was noisy late into the night with traffic. I highly recommend this hotel...it left me feeling very french...lol
• Peter (3/5): Don't bother with this hotel - in spite of its excellent location! - This was our second stay at this hotel. The first time was excellent. This time however, we were given a room that you could hardly turn around in.There was no place for suitcases. In addition the toilet overflowed each time it was flushed and the last day we were there, I spent an hour cleaning up the shit which overflowed into the bathroom. It took three calls to convince the management to send someone to make repairs. I don't think we shall be returning to rue des Saints Peres as the value of this hotel is not worth the price of a room. The entire six day stay: room far too small; No bidet; wo people could not fit into the bathroom at the same time.BUT the major problem was the overflowing toilet!!!
• I2645SDmegans (10/5): Exceptional - Truly exceptional stay. The service was the best possible - warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly without ever feeling intrusive. The location is perfect for exploring Paris, yet the hotel itself feels calm and tucked away. The room was adorable, impeccably clean, and had a serene, homey atmosphere that made it easy to relax after long days out. Room service breakfast was exquisite and felt like such a special treat each morning. While the bed was slightly firmer than my personal preference, it was still comfortable and didn’t detract from an otherwise wonderful stay. The hotel was quiet, peaceful, and offered excellent value for the quality and experience. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

• J8880KDjenniferw (10/5): Our perfect hotel in Paris. - We finally found our favorite hotel in Paris. The rooms are lovely, the beds are extremely comfortable, the bathrooms impeccable. One of our special pleasures is the living room as we called it which is available to guests in this boutique hotel located in a former home. It is so comfortable to return after a long day of site seeing and have tea and cakes ready in a relaxing atmosphere. Rick is the resident bartender. He is a good innkeeper and full of information about the city. The front desk has highly professional personnel, i.e. Sarah, Christian, Raphael, helped us with routes, tickets, taxis, and information to maneuver the city. We cannot thank them enough for making our stay magical. This is not a bed and breakfast, although they have a breakfast room. It is a hotel, however, it has been thoroughly designed for comfort and attending to a relaxing stay in Paris.
