• Danna (4/5): It was a very, very hard start. - A staff member tried hard to help me, got me my room key, and told the owners that there was a problem. which was great. Once I was moved to a different room, the view out the window was beautiful, and I had a small kitchen that I could use. It was very close to many things. Expresso maker, juicer and toaster were in the room, and I could heat milk for a latte. It was almost impossible to find the entrance to the hotel. A waiter in a nearby cafe did it for me, and carried my bags up the stairs which I couldn't manage anymore. I was put into a room the first night that had a hot heavy blanket, was unbelievably loud, and had no wireless signal. That was a disaster after a 12 hour flight and no sleep for 2 days. It faced onto an extremely busy street, but sold as having "a garden view". The staff called the owner the next day and I was moved into another room that looked onto the interior of the Galleria. That was very pretty, but still a constant dull roar of voices until 12 am. The workmanship in the room was poor. The shelves in the bath, and next to the bed were sloping downward. The clothes bar in the closet collapsed. The toilet seat was wonky. The hairdryer didn’t work. The wireless was very spotty throughout my stay. The owners need to get a proper workman to do their renovations. They don't have any "garden view", only a "courtyard view". The first day in a place can make all the difference to a traveler who hasn't slept, is from a different time zone, and doesn't speak the language.

• Jean-Michel (6/5): - L'emplacement est parfait pour évoluer au sein de Naples mais aussi pour s'écarter en bateau à partir du Mollo Beverelo. On touche du doigt la vieille ville et le quartier espagnol. On trouve de l'eau dans le frigo en arrivant ainsi que des petites attentions sucrées et salées qui dépannent bien. Les autres sont à l'écoute des questions qu'on leur a posé. L'intérieur du logement est vieillot. L'insonorisation vers l'extérieur et vers le couloir laissent à désirer. L'état de propreté de la bouche et de l'évier était douteux. Il y a une cuisine en bois vétuste avec une hotte branchée sur un tuyau un peu voilé.

A bit hard to find, with no signs on the street. Donato was really sweet guy, Eugenia was impolite to talk to.

Right next to the taxi stand too. Check-in was a bit chaotic. No structure or reception. Property owner was there daily.

The only thing is that the room was not really clean and full of dust, i’m allergic to it and it made my stay really difficult. Couldn’t even turn the heating on because it was full of dust and it would just push it all out.

Facilissima da raggiungere, check-in veloce, check-out agevolato dalla disponibilità del titolare. • Caroline (8/5): Het waren een paar geweldige dagen op een fantastische locatie. - De locatie is geweldig en de toegankelijkheid ook. We hebben ons nooit onveilig gevoeld, in het hartje van Napels. De hygiene liet iets te wensen. We kregen in de periode dat we er waren niet een keer nieuwe handdoeken en de badkamer had schimmel en een kapotte douche. Dat was jammer, maar voor ons geen showstopper.

Dalle foto sembra presente una cucina che in realtà non c’è, c’è solo macchinetta per il caffè e frigo (sarebbe meglio aggiungere un bollitore visto anche i the forniti). Pulizia dei pavimenti migliorabile. Check in e check out troppo indipendente, non abbiamo ricevuto neanche la password del Wi-Fi o le informazioni minime.

• Giovanna (7/5): Gute Wahl, wenn man ein zentrales Zimmer möchte, und einem der Lärm von Via Toledo nicht stört. - Zentrale Lage, man ist direkt auf Via Toledo. Zimmer war sehr gross, 2x Doppelbett. Matratze sehr bequem. Genug Schränke für Kleideraufbewahrung. Sehr sauber. Wir haben es geschätzt, dass ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer war. Kein Schimmel im Badezimmer. Keine Ablagemöglichkeiten im Badezimmer. Am 1. Tag hatten wir kein Warmwasser, Problem wurde am 2. Tag behoben. Armaturen etwas lotterig. Nachts mit offenem Fenster ist es sehr lärmig, man hört den ganzen Lärm von Via Toledo bis spät in die Nacht.

Con la metro 1 in un attimo si arriva in stazione centrale e passeggiando si arriva comodamente nel centro storico L’appartamento è in una zona sicura vicino a tutto e il proprietario Donato molto gentile e disponibile. • Browning-Hull (9/5): A lively location with a comfortable and spacious room and friendly staff - Close to attractions, restaurants and taxis. The space was comfortable and staff were accomodating. Getting into the property was initially difficult as we did not receive our check in details with the full address including our floor, room number and code. We eventually by chance saw a staff member going into the building and he showed us to our room. The apartments are located on level 5 of building number 7, which we went up to prior to being shown our room however, there were no signs on the door or hallways to indicate that it was Donato’s apartments. We had sent multiple messages to the host however had not heard back. Despite these difficulties we enjoyed our stay and had no further issues. Booking.com also did not assist us with getting into the property, which was disappointing as it could have left us stranded for much longer than the 2.5 hours we waited on the day.

• Nena (9/5): Great time spent in Naples. - Excellent location, just few steos fron the object you are at the main strret Toledo snd the impressive Galeria Umberto i at tje corner. Also few minutes walk from Maritime station and Metro as well,easy to find. Bathroom shower was not so clean. We had some issues when pulling the water in the toilet seat. There is lot of noice in the early morning but it is turistic place so you just need to accept it.

• Marianna (7/5): - Da rinnovare gli accessori del bagno: in doccia aggancio traballante, spazzolone da rinnovare assolutamente, rubinetteria con calcare. Consiglio caldamente di prestare attenzione a questi particolari che fanno la differenza. Chiedere al personale delle pulizie di prestare maggiore attenzione al bagno, consiglio anche un tappeto più grande per sottodoccia e sottolavandino.

• Fernando (8/5): Great place and great value - Perfectly located, clean place and comfortable beds. Great shower too. Easy to communicate with landlord, clear and transparent price. A better windown noise insulation would have been great. The place is in the busiest part of Naples and there's a lot going on in the streets.
• Yi-hsueh (3/5): Poor - Well instruction from the host before arriving. Good location but then very noisy. Very bad small from toilet, sink all day long, even I had been work up few times at the midnight because of such bad smell. Only have show head and it's block or broken, so always got very wet hair after shower. Most of time the Wifi was very week or nothing at all, even it said there're three wifi are available. Not really offer fresh breakfast, just package cookie and jam.
• Attila (3/5): Dont believe the photos! It is not worth staying! - Location is good, close to the spanish quarter, meaning many restaurants, shops and notable things to visit are super close. The cleaning staff were kind and helpful. Let’s start with the fact it was not like on the photos. The room needs some renovation and correction on the walls. Bathroom cleaning originally was very poor. (After complaining to the cleaning staff they improved it.) Though we have not opened the windows many mosquitoes were flying around the room all night, my wife got several mosquito bites. We were unlucky that at night reconstructions were conducted and came with a significant noise level, we couldn’t rest well :/ Nonetheless first night’s impression was terrible. We only booked here because the originally booked place cancelled the reservation and this was last minute. Not recommended!

• Laura (6/5): Good location - Location It is not as in the pictures the room. Also it’s a lot of rumor of the outside in the room, we couldn’t sleep very well as it goes until the 02:00 P.M from the interior of the Gallery. The location is perfect if you want to stay at the centre of the city.
• Nathalie (8/5): Great stay ! - Great location , great communication with host, staff was so kind and helpful , clean and large space. I recommend it. Cash Payment method in a box I wasn’t a big fan of but because we are not used to it.
• Karla (9/5): It was good, we enjoyed the cool AC and tv channels, very comfy bed. - AC the location and easy access to stores No microwave to heat food, they offered breakfast but it was not hot breakfast it’s more a snack, but it was great to have something to munch on. The day we arrived the elevator was not working we had to carry our luggage to the 5th floor very inconvenient. It said is a hotel, i would not describe it as a hotel, its a room inside a building.
• Alex (8/5): Lovely stay in a central, comfy room - Great location, comfy beds, good air con facilities Its central location means there’s quite a bit of noise at night time but nothing a pair of ear plugs can’t sort! Water pressure was also quite low but it was manageable.

• Emanuele (6/5): Great location, room needs improvement - The location was amazing, few meters from piazza del plebiscito and right on top of the galleria The house is not well maintained, the host was not responsive when we tried to call him as we had troubles to find the flat. The room was quite noisy at night because of construction works
• Jorgen (4/5): I don’t recommend it to anyone nor will I choose it for my next stay in Naples - Nothing was good about the property It was very loud due to constant noise and works in the Galleria. There was no breakfast, only a few no brand croissants which was not possible to eat. There was no water in the fridge . Everything is rundown.The elevator worked seldomly. ( rooms located on 5th floor )

• Yusuf (1/5): A big con, do not book. Was not given a refund or an alternative place to stay. Ruined my stay. - Good central location When we arrived, this was locked and the host did not answer the bell for almost 30 minutes to let us in. The picture on the booking is nowhere near the listing, there are no directions on how to get there. You can see the sign for the hotel, which was confusing and unclear. The door was old some bits could easily be broken off. I believe the host owns multiple properties across this floor of room, and our door was the only one that looked old and broken. All the other doors were modern and looked more secure. The keybox was where the keys were supposed to be collected but I was given the wrong combination was given to us. We had to contact the host for the correct one and he took a while to respond. There is a hole in the wall where we were told to drop of the payment for tourism tax. This was very strange. We did not see the host for the whole stay. Clearly he does not want to communicate as he wants any payment,etc to be through a hole in the wall. The door lock is old and the key gets stuck easily. We spent 10 minutes trying to use the key given to unlock the door. Very poor security. The wifi is not working. We tried over 10 times and it still did not work Breakfast is terrible. Cheap pastry and small children’s juice boxes. This is not the breakfast that was described on the listing. This was poor quality and cheap. Also, this was all that was given for 3 people for 5 days. The host never came round to supply more breakfast for us. So we had to go out and buy out own breakfast each morning. There were bird noises coming from what seemed like inside the property. The birds seemed like they were inside the room. This noise happened every morning very early (approximately 5am) and lasted for hours. Summary: a big con, do not book!
• Αγγελική (7/5): Okay - The location is excellent for visiting most of the historical sites and attractions in Naples. There is a metro station really close as well. The room was okay-not just like the photos, but close enough. It was very noisy all day. Also I would expect more than just supermarket croissants when “breakfast included”. we had to ask for new towels because after 3 days they didn’t change them and they also never changed the sheets in a 6 night stay

• Tal (7/5): Good - Great location, right on the main street of Naples. Close to all attractions. Also close to the funicular station to Saint Elmo. There are a lot of restaurants around. The apartment is well equipped with kitcken equipment. The room was on the fifth floor floor, with an elevator that is supposed to cost 10 cents for a lift. Luckily, we tried not to pay, and it worked anyway.
• Jelka (10/5): Great stay in heart of Napoli, great value for money - The property is at exelent location, in a stylish gallery in town center. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

• Maxine (9/5): good simple place with everything in order!! - The place is easy to find, the room a good size, modern and clean, aircon worked, the outlook into the Galleria very beautiful, breakfast, although in packages was perfectly ok - the typical and simple coffee and cornetto we had in all other places in Campania region. If you want more it is to be had just outside the door of the building...really! Excellent location. Do have a 10cent piece to put into the elevator between 8am-7pm...a throw-back to another era that we didn't mind because we always had a 10cent piece. I am getting tired of this trend of having no human contact when "checking-in" to a place, having to rely on internet and data (that sometimes is not strong or available) for every bit of information. Others might like the anonymity, but I feel that a conversation with a person is much more satisfying and effective.
• Nof (6/5): Pleasant - Good location. No one from the management is to talk to. The only windows in the room are actually inside the building so no air really flows into the room. Quite cleen. No breakfast - they give only weird Packaged industrial croissant. We stayed for 4 days and no one cleaned the room, not even brought toilet paper.. Average.
