- Juan Antonio (3/5): Ruido y vista al cementerio - No me gustó en nada. El personal es lo único que lo salva por lo demás todo mal No me gustó para nada ni la ubicación ni el hotel en sí. Había muchísimo ruido y tuvimos que quitar el aire acondicionado y aún así seguía el ruido. En recepción nos tuvieron que dar unos tapones para el a ruido. Nos cambiaron de habitación una noche por este mismo motivo y nos llevaron a otra planta que necesitaba remodelación y con un olor a humedad increíble. Al día a siguiente nos quisieron cambiar otra vez de habitación pero les dijimos que no, que nos pondríamos tapones para los oídos y casualmente tenían en recepción. Con respecto al desayuno muy mal súper repetitivo. El hotel no nos gustó nada en ningún sentido.

- ccsclwns7773 (6/5): Fair hotel but lacking star quality - Nice room, location was ok but not on the MRT line, we eventually found the tram was the best way to get into the centre and to the MRT. The breakfast wasn’t good for European tastes like myself, all I could eat were the eggs and breads, but my Filipino wife thought it was ok. The concierge was very helpful with directions. The hotel is overlooking the happy valley racecourse and you could watch the racing from our window if we had wanted to.

- Baljit (7/5): A pleasant oasis in a bustling city of Hong Kong - The location was ideal, connected by subway to Causeway Bay MRT at Times Square, and also a short walking distance to Wan Chai Pier and the trams run in front of the hotel. This made it ideal for getting to all the sights and walking to cafes and restaurants. The hotel does a free airport shuttle too. We were also entitled free breakfast daily due to our Genius level on booking.com and that was a saving for us. Breakfast is a good mix of local and western items. Room was small, but that’s to be expected in central HK areas. There could be a crowd at breakfast but the staff handle it well.
- Lee (3/5): Avoid it if you can - Not much to like about here. The gym was good and I like that it’s included, the vending machine credit if you don’t get your room cleaned and the free shuttle bus made getting to the airport much easier. Location is decent too. This is the first time I’ve ever complained about a room and the first time I’ve left somewhere a day early. Be aware that if you choose a room with a view of the mountains it also means that your room directly overlooks the cemetery that goes up the hill outside your room. The first room we were given backed onto the elevator - however they also position the bed so your pillows are up against the back of the elevator shaft which is why we complained and moved rooms because it is too noisy to sleep. We were moved to a room that was away from the elevator, however, was so much smaller that the luggage stand they put in the room for you is folded up against the wall as there is no space to open it. It still overlooked the cemetery to the right, but this time it also overlooked the highway to the left so expect horns beeping. The bed was awful - it was a double bed but no support in the middle so you spend all night rolling into the sagging middle of the bed. Again, no space so the bed is against the wall on one side so one of us had to crawl over the bed to get in or out of if the other was asleep. When rooms were being cleaned we could see the twin rooms across the hallway on the other side were all much bigger! So if you are happy to sleep in separate beds, definitely choose the 2 single beds! 2 single beds wouldn’t have fit in the rooms with double beds so we wish we had known this. Would I stay there again? Absolutely not.

De eles terem feito carga no meu cartão da primeira diária e após levarem quase 1 mes para devolver o valor. Nenhum outro hotel na China faz isto, eles devem rever seu processo, muito ruim. Não pude gastar este valor e voltou para o Brasil.

Comfy bed and pillows, fridge and quite OK WiFi in room. Bad: Crowded elevators, especially during breakfast time/morning total nightmare. Over crowded breakfast room, prepare to wait 5-10mins to even get in and then sit with the strangers and wait 5-10mins to get a coffee, from ONE coffee machine and next 5-10mins to get orange juice from ONE "can". I've been in small B & B places where are 2 coffee machines etc. , but this a huge hotel and breakfast serving area is size of guest room. They had a complimentary shuttle bus to Convention Center, which would've been nice during our business trip...but unfortunately there was a lobby full of people queuing, so we would've had to wait 45mins for the next. So lots of good things on paper, but not in reality.
- Liana2311 (2/5): SCAM HOTEL - AVOID AT ALL COST - If you’re looking for a hotel with cemetery view, shared room and unprofessional general manager - then this hotel would be perfect for you. We booked this hotel 1 month before our arrival. Actually, it was our first trip in many years due to the fact that my boyfriend had cancer (thank God he’s in remission now). Also, we had anniversary and we mentioned it in our booking. We just asked for a quiet room (without any upgrades etc - just a QUIET room). I guess it’s not a problem for a hotel with more than 450 rooms and taking into account that we asked for it 1 month before arrival. We arrived at this hotel on April, 13th. The girl at the reception was nice. She provided us a room and we were happy to go there as we were really tired after the flight. It was room 715 right in front of the 3 elevators. This isn’t our idea of a quiet room. Entering the room we noticed the door leading to the next room. Being in the room for 5-10 min we heard everyone coming out of the elevator and talking. It was horrible! You can’t even imagine how frustrated we were. We went down to the reception and the girl told us they would be able to provide another room only tomorrow. Just imagine having to spend the night in a very noisy room. We asked to change the room that day but they said they couldn’t. Then we called the general manager (unfortunately, I can’t remember his name). It was a man who is the most unprofessional member of staff I’ve ever seen in my life. We were very friendly asking for another room while he was rude. He spoke to us in an inappropriate way. He said that we should have thanked them for providing us such a great room. Then he said they would show us the room which had to be initially ours (a free room was found at once haha). There was a very small room with a cemetery view. Yeah, it was quiet lol. If we were provided this room initially, we wouldn’t say a word as it was quiet (the view from the window didn’t concern us at all). But taking into account the way GENERAL manager talked to us, we didn’t want to stay at this hotel anymore. He was incredibly rude. He didn’t say sorry at all. We came back to the reception and asked him to check us out and refund. Then he said he wouldn’t refund us at any cost and we could leave, do whatever we wanted - he wasn’t concerned at all. We have encountered such an attitude for the first time in our lives. My boyfriend can’t get nervous at all. But he did. We just picked up our luggage and went to a 5 star Marriott for a better service. That time I had a conversation with trip.com which tried to refund us but they didn’t manage to as the hotel denied and that’s it. After this case I wrote 3 letters to Dorsett HQ and you know what? I haven’t even received a reply at all :) We lost more than 1000 USD for 5 nights. I don’t recommend you to stay at this hotel if you want to get an appropriate service of a real 4-star hotel. I’m attaching some photos from that “incredible” room. P.S. to the general manager of this hotel (I know you’ll read it): I wish you to have the same kind of service you provided to us - everywhere in your life while going anywhere.

Enjoyed local market and temple next morning. Staff very sweet. - Jesse (1/5): Worst price/quality I ever experienced - The location is decent Half of the rooms have a massive graveyard as view. If you ask whether you can have a different view, they will ask for double the price. The room feels small. You cannot turn off the ac otherwise the fire alarm will go off ??? (yes really) so it gets really cold. Also there was black mold in the ac, so that’s really good for our lungs. The bed linnen has mud stains on it. There was a hair band in the shower. There is a sign under the bed that says. We even cleaned here, but the sign was dirty. Even though they clearly state in their site they provide power adapters. Upon request they said they couldn’t provide. However the cleaning staff was using them for their equipment. Worst of all, after paying an insane high price for this room, the staff were not apologetic at all and did not attempt to make my stay better or help with my request. DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL, their are cheaper and better options all over Hong Kong

- Eva (1/5): For your own sanity (literally), do not book. - After offering a free upgrade to a room facing the roads, the experience got a little bit better but overall wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all and will not be returning. Firstly, the location is inconvenient to visitors. It is a very very far walk from anything and there is no food or stores close by. The dingding (metro) comes by but you have to pay for two trips, and the journey out needs to be planned to consider the return journey. When returning on the dingding, it is incredibly packed and busy. I hated the journey back, and by the end of my stay I was fed up. Secondly, this hotel is directly next to a HUGE cemetery. This is not disclosed in their photos or descriptions, and the staff are clearly trained well to answer questions regarding why the view outside the room faced the cemetery which is not shown on any of the photos. I am a spiritual person and so I am sensitive to things like this. I stayed prior to this long stay for 4 nights, which the windows were frosted glass, now it explains why. I returned back to that room during this long stay and on my maps, it showed that I was staying right on top of the cemetery. This explained why I felt uneasy and uncomfortable during the previous stay. Anyway, during this long stay, outside of my window you could see the entire cemetery. Every single grave was on display. I approached the receptionist who had the audacity to offer me an upgrade if i want to change rooms but this would be over 1000hkd for the entirety of my stay. Considering they were purposely misleading and did not disclose this information on their page, I felt this was extremely cheeky to then ask for more money. I asked for a refund instead and they would not give me my money back. Only when my father confronted them with more of a firmer tone than I would they then offer a free upgrade. I would have preferred my money back and stayed somewhere else but considering this was the best they were offering I moved to the road facing room the next night as the first night they were all fully booked. I would question whether this was honest or not too considering their clear intentions of concealing information.

The service, amenities, and location convenience make this hotel a solid choice when stay - What I really liked about this hotel is the free shuttle bus service, which is very convenient. It provides transfers to and from the Airport Express at Hong Kong Station, as well as to Causeway Bay—a big plus for travelers. Another highlight is the complimentary detox water, available daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It’s refreshing and a nice touch after a long day exploring the city. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet, which made our stay very relaxing. There’s also a nearby bus station, making it easy to get around. If you’re booking, I recommend upgrading your room. We chose a standard room and were assigned a corner room facing a cemetery, which wasn’t ideal for us.

- Hugh (5/5): - Proximity to city centre, shuttle bus, staff excellent. Poor facilities, unable to obtain snacks, rooms cold even with air-conditioning off. Beds uncomfortable.

- Dilki (2/5): - Apart from the location there was nothing great It was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at! I’m pretty sure u even got bed bugs. It was so unclean with dust and dirt everywhere. The units room we booked was the superior and we had to pay to get upgraded to another room cause the first one was in really bad shape.

- H5329ZGritaz (10/5): Perfect Experience in HK - The location of this hotel is pretty. Close to everything. Yummy Breakfast buffet. Room is clean and large.the hotel even prepare Easter Lolli for kids. So sweet ❤️
- Sabine (4/5): Not great at all - Not much. It was fine, I had somewhere to sleep close to the tram. The room was dirty (someone else's toenail on the floor), the windows don't open and you're asked to keep the aircon on at all times to avoid the fire alarm going off. So it's very damp/mouldy, cold and no freshair. A lot of the windows are also covered, so you can't see outside because there is a huge cemetary just outside.

We complained at the reception and were given a heater that did not help and were given another heater. It was very bad Not to harm the people staying at the hotel

- Hills (10/5): I stayed there in 2013 before reinnervation and it is much better now - the room was has advertised very spacious and clean, located on the 1th floor with very quick access by elevator to the floor and also the buffet breakfast bar, the breakfast that was offered was of a wide variety and would cater for nearly all tastes and very plentiful, can not think of a thing

- Eirini (4/5): Clean rooms but very noisy - Very well located and clean property. The room’s airconditioning was very loud making a rattling noise - we checked other rooms and it was the same case there. In addition, the room was next to the elevator which created a lot of noise 24/7. There is a gym with good equipment but it’s rather small for the size of hotel and the exercise mats are not clean. We did not perceive the staff at checkin friendly.

- Beatrice (8/5): - The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, room was extremely clean, shower was hot and great water pressure. Huge bathroom and good amenities. The staff were lovely and attentive, especially the concierge. The location is very convenient for the subway, and even though it's on a busy main road there is no noise at all from the traffic outside. I didn't have the hotel breakfast, as there was so much outside the hotel to eat. I would stay here again if travelling with a large budget. The AC needs updating. It was very loud even on the lowest setting, and it was centralised AC which had a slight smell of damp. The temperature control was in the hallway, not a remote control. Since the hotel advises it be kept on 24/7 for air quality, it would be better to have new remote-controlled wall units which have options to cool/dry the air/purify the air so that in cooler seasons it's not so cold and loud when you are trying to sleep, and you can change the settings without having to get up in the night.
