- Diane (8/5): London visit - The apartment was nice and certainly large enough for the four of us. There were two bedrooms up a spiral staircase. One had a double bed and doors which led out onto a small decking area at the back of the flat with no view. The other had a double bed and two single beds (and a cot) and an en suite. This bedroom, however, had a skylight window with a blind on it but we searched everywhere to find the pole to pull the blind shut but could not find it. We had to get a chair from down stairs so we could reach the blind and close it. Then we realised that the window in this room had no curtains or blinds so there was nothing to stop the light coming streaming in in the morning. We were hoping for a relaxing break!! We were awakened by the planes at 07.00 anyway but did not want to get up at 05.00 when the sunlight broke through!!
This window looked onto the decking area so our friends could see into our room!! Not very practical if children had been using this room.The following day I tried to block some of the light by placing extra pillows etc at the window which did not help much. Also some of the light bulbs did not work.
There were a couple of small supermarkets nearby.

- CW (6/5): Perfecte liggng voor als je de beurs in Excel bezo - Groot appartement , alles wel aanwezig maar qua netheid ( schoon???) en verzorging mag het wel even een opknapbeurt hebben.
keuken en badkamer niet heel schoon , gordijnen sluiten niet of ze hangen er gewoon niet etc .

- Gerrard (10/5): Great apartment ideally situated - With a family of 5 it is always difficult to find a room with space. Fox apartments provided us with the space needed with the high levels of cleanliness and facilities required. The apartment is ideally situated within walking distance to both the ExCel and the O2 (with a small trip via the sky-rail) and 1 minute walk to the DLR for those wanting a quick ride into the heart of London.

Betten/Service ordentlich gemacht. Liegt neben an der Subway - mit überdachtem Gang zum Hotel. Zug nicht hörbar.

Wenn man vor 7:00 Uhr abreist gibt es keine Stelle bei der man die Schlüssel abgeben könnte.
- Anca (10/5): Luxury accommodation in East London - Outstanding location, practically at the door of Excel center. Apartment on 2 levels, 2 bedrooms with 5 beds total, 2.5 bathrooms, kitchen, living room and dining room plus dedicated office area. Very clean, daily maid service. I don' have enough words to explain but is a perfect solution for the sophisticated business traveler that needs to be in that area of London. DLR train station at the door, easy connection to any place in London or you can have a car service called to drive you anywhere by request ( arranged by apartment management)

- MLS (8/5): Steps from ExCel Centre - Very spacious and equipped with excellent appliances, utensils, linens, TV with access to Netflix, YouTube, etc., comfortable beds and, couches, chairs. A very secure building. Near many restaurants and a short walk to markets for food. However carpet in living room is torn and needs to be replaced. Some furniture in master bedroom and bathrooms nis scratched or has damaged finish and needs to be replaced. Very clean. Could be improved by having instructions on how to use the appliances: microwave; oven; washing machine; dryer; etc. keys are picked up in the cafe next door - Fox ExCel. Though not managers of the apartment, workers at the FoxExCel were very helpful. Be aware that the bedrooms are accessed via a spiral staircase. Can't beat the location. Easy to. Get around using the DLR and connecting to the tube.
- Juan (4/5): Las instalaciones bien, trato humano no existe - No hubo check in, no sabían que una familia llegaba esa tarde, con el retraso que nos causó. Pudimos entrar gracias a que una pareja que entraba nos dio los códigos de acceso, la persona que nos indicó donde estaba la llave no trabajaba allí, según él. Si resolvimos algunos asuntos fue gracias a que Expedia intermedió. No hubo check out. No se disculparon en ningún momento de forma personal. El poco contacto con ellos mediante SMS. Por último y como guida del pastel, el día que lo dejamos por la noche, una fiesta Hard-core, cuyos subwofer retubaban de tal manera que el dormir os podéis imaginar como fue. En fin instalaciones perfecta, pero su profesionalidad deja mucho que desear.

- Ali (8/5): Loved it - Really liked this apartment. We shared it with friends and their kids. Plenty of room for all of us. Great to have the space to sit relax and chat through our days in comfort. Much better than getting hotel rooms. We have the same event on next year and we are definitely going to try and book again should they have the a availability.

- Terry (4/5): I tried so hard to like this place, but... - First and foremost, the bar manager(s) who check you in and "try" to help you were super-nice and did the best they could. Location was actually pretty good; it was safe and right on DLR (but about 25 inured from central London). Now the bad; no air conditioning so we had to open windows and skylight just to get one airflow. It was only in the mid 60's but it was near stiffing in the apartment - I could not imagine what it would have been like if it was in the 70's or even 80s. With those windows open, the nighttime noise, trains and yes landing airplanes made sleep nearly impossible unless we were 3-4 beers into it.. Hot water heater was turned off so we took cold showers for 2 days before it was running well - but on,y enough for 2 showers and a quick shave, which was tough considering we had 5 staying there. Washer/dryer combo worked poorly. Fridge had been turned off and at best reached 45-50 after 3 days. Shower drains needed snaking and we were ankle deep in water always. Many broken cabinets. Summary: cold showers, hot apartment & unexpectedly noisy because wi does had to be open. Friendly staff tried there best but it was obvious owner had not kept up maintenance or tried to stay there during summer. I think they said he was in Hong Kong.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Beware - get assurance you won't be moved! - Although the flats are comfortable and well maintained, it was very disappointing to find out that - due to them being privately owned - the owners seem to have the right to interrupt your stay and take back their flat at any time they please. As a high end and well respected company, having used the Fox Apartments for our Managing Director, it was a great disappointment and disrespectful interruption when we found that he was moved out of the apartment into another for one evening, and then moved out of this apartment into a hotel for a further night - all because the owners of the flats brought their plans forward! Anyone booking should be aware of this and ensure that this is not likely to happen to them.

Leaking Sink into bucket placed underneath, Not much hot water, TV didnt work - No signal, Furnishings are IKea and not really sturdy enough for commercial use.
- Thierry (10/5): Superbe appartement ! - Appartement très confortable, spacieux, parfaitement meublé et très propre, on resterait volontiers plus longtemps. Quelques petits inconvénients : manque d'ustensiles de cuisine (pas de casseroles, peu de couverts, pas de grille-pains, cafetière ne marchait pas), pas de rideaux à la fenêtre de la grande chambre, donc réveillés par le soleil (mais l'important était d'avoir du soleil !). Pas de manager dans nos horaires de sortie pour les doléances et le manque d'ustensile n'a pas été réglé par la personne présente. On entend un peu les avions de London City Airport, mais ce n'est pas dérangeant du tout, le quartier est vraiment très calme. L'appartement est situé en zone 3, à 20 minutes en DLR de London Bridge. C'est un peu excentré mais la qualité du logement vaut vraiment le coup. Vue sur la Tamise.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent quality appartment for O2 arena area - Great location for the O2. A fair distance from central London but "doable"
Very plush and first impressions were very good. Not an easy location luggage etc though to unload if travelling by car and a tad difficult to get information before the visit as I'd asked fro some information on extra bedding and parking which they chose not to respond to. The free parking turned out to be about 3 miles drive away but less than half a miles walk away through the excel or 1 stop on the DLR. all very easy once I'd figured it out for myself.
Would I go back. Maybe, but not if my main purpose was central London.
- Birgitta (8/5): Utmärkt för stora familjer - Vi hyrde en lägenhet i två plan med totalt 6 bäddar. Den var stor och rymlig med totalt tre toaletter. Sköna sängar och varmt och skönt inne trots att det var iskallt ute. Helt ok kök.
Var lite orolig över närheten till flygplatsen men jag upplevde aldrig att vi blev störda av flygplanen. Verkade som den mesta flygtrafiken var dagtid. Livsmedelsbutik med rätt bra sortiment i närheten och flera restauranger i närområdet annars var det ett väldigt lugnt och stillsamt område.
Att ta sig in till city var lätt. Gick att åka DLS ända till towern på ca 20 min, ville man mer centralt gick det utmärkt att byta till tunnelbana den sista biten.
Dock var underhållet lite eftersatt, ett handfat läckte och hade en papperskorg placerad under sig men det funkade ju det med.
Totalt sett ett väldigt mysigt boendealternativ med gammaldags charm när man reser som familj till London! Kan tänka mig att bo där igen!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Ottimo appartamento sopratutto per famiglie - Appartamento grande e molto confortevole, vicino alla fermata della DLR, a 20 minuti dal centro di Londra. Il market è a 300 mt ed è un aperto sino all'una di notte. Unico inconveniente : mancava la pentola per cucinare la pasta. Converrebbe atterrare all'aeroporto di London city perché più vicino, noi siamo atterrato all'heatrow e ci abbiamo messo circa 2 ore per arrivare. Lo consiglio a famiglie con bambini
- Anna (6/5): Great location Excel but variation of apartments - Our colleagues stayed in the apartments over the Fox bar which was of the standard we expected from the photos. Ours however felt like it was a privately owned apartment just put up for let recently, as there were personal touches such as glow in the dark stars on the ceilings, used items in the cupboards & children’s height measurements on the door frame!!!
Overall good apartment but need to be depersonalised & have a slight freshen up for corporate guests.

Ceranfeld stark verunreinigt, Tassen im Schrank nicht richtig abgespült, Balkontür kaputt (Klinke lag auf dem Balkon), Igitt.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent accommodation and very comfortable. - The two bedroomed accommodation was brilliant. The only negative was that the hot water didn't last long so ended up with hot-cold showers.
- Jenny (10/5): Great location and spacious apartment for 5. - We stayed at these apartments for 3 nights over New Year. On arrival the bar underneath the apartments was closed and no-one was around to get the keys from. We were however early for check in so went to the bar in the Crowne Plaza around the corner and had lunch. At check in someone was there waiting for us to hand over the key and show us the apartment. It was very well maintained, clean and extremely spacious. Downstairs there was a large open plan room with 2 couches, large tv, dining room table with 4 chairs and a really good kitchen. Up a spiral staircase there was a large bathroom, huge bedroom with 2 single beds and a double bed and another room with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. All rooms were of a high standard and we were really impressed. There were a number of small supermarkets close by with good choices for meals. The DLR station was literally around the corner and Canning Town underground station was a short 10 minute walk away. Overall we really enjoyed this stay and would definitely stay again.

- Dan (8/5): Na Londýn obrovský loft v zajímavém prostředí - V dané cenové relaci jsme v Londýně pro rodinnou dovolenou (2 dospělí a 3 kluci) nenašli nic lepšího. Velký, plně vybavený byt (obývák s kuchyní, 2 ložnice, 2 koupely + další separátní WC, terasa), perfektní audio-technika (BOSE system, Cambridge Audio komponenty, flat TV... ). Maximální ubytovací kapacita 8 lidí !!! Dostupnost z centra cca 1 hodina (metro + DLR), ale v pohodě. Výtka: nefungovala mikrovlnka, chyběl otvírák na konzervy. Příště bereme znovu...

Tuttavia come tutte le strutture inglesi nn reggono il passare degli anni! Se stessero attenti con la manutenzione tornerebbe a meritare appieno le 5 stelle!

- Henrik (8/5): Store rom, tett på Excell - Der er ingen resepsjon, men manager på baren med samme navn styrer dette. I London er dette de største rom jeg har hatt, stor stue og kjøkken samt 2 soverom i etasjen over. Inflyvning til London City er rett over, og rommene er ikke spesilet godt lyd isolert. Rett sted hvis du er på Excel.
- Massari (10/5): Ampio e pulito, ristrutturato, un po' distante - Extremely large flat (# 9). Two floors, three WC, shower and bath tub. Lovely position, very quiet. If you like darkness at night, take some sleeping masks with you. Daily cleaning. Southern Europe clients are not comfortable with carpet, but never mind. It's in zone 3, so the trip downtown is a bit long and expensive, but it's ideal for families and group of friends. There is no reception, so check in straight at the manager of the pub, who was sooo nice!

Could do with additional pillows and tea towels but other than that everything we needed for a weekend or longer stay. Ideal for the excel and the docklands light railway gets you around very easily. Apartment has the room for additional sofa bed in the living area and so optimise the number of guests.
- Dany (8/5): Fox Appartments in the Docklands - We had a stunning apartment sleeping 8 comfortably in a 2+1=1, a 2 room configuration and 2 on sofa bed if you have to. Everything is being thought off, excellent entertainment system, Bose surround ! All very good, just needs a little more care, some things needed tweaking however, nothing serious.Pick up and drop key next door should be formalized as you need to go looking, however, once again, we arrived early and the manager happily assisted. Great place, give time to centre of London as the LDR connects to the underground, takes about 45 minutes to get to town. If you have time, the accommodation is homey and makes you feel as if you always lived there? Try it, it's good.
- Wallace (6/5): Not Impressed - No carpark in the Hotel. Double red line right outside the hotel. I got FINE for leaving the car for awhile to unload my luggage into my room!! They got a pub right below my room and you could feel the drum beat whole night till late!! If you are a light sleeper or with children, not recommended. The place not easy to locate and far from the city as well.
- Brandon (8/5): The Fox is good! - The crew at Fox made us feel right at home straight away. Sam and his team were very professional! The size and comfort of the room were fantastic. The location a little out of the way but jump on the DLR and the tube and you can be anywhere in 30 minutes or so. With 3 kids Fox made it easy as there was so much room...
Great place and would stay there again...
- Velencia (8/5): Fox Apartments at Excel Conference Centre - This accommodation provides loads of space and convenience for anyone especially a family attending an event at ExCel
The service could be improved by providing some coffee, tea, sugar, milk and biscuits and advice about local shops and restaurants for breakfast and dinner would have been of use for the first day
Instructions about finding the place were quite poor on the internet and I found myself getting out at the station before as this one was on the map and then having to drag my bag to the place which was right at the next station
- Angela (10/5): Best family accomodation ever - Fox apartments was one of the best family accomodations that I have ever stayed in. Little extras like the washer/dryer were fantastic! The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean. Amazing to get parking and WiFi included as well! Highly recommended.

- Vered (10/5): A very good surprise - We were very pleased to see the apartment. It was very very big, including three toilets !!! It has everyhting one needs to stay for a long time including dish washer, washer and dryer, and even the soaps for the appliances. They cleaned it everyday,including arranging the dishes from the dishwasher. The only down side is the location - 20 minutes from city center in the train, but the station is located one minute walk from the hotel. We would defenitely stay there again !!!!!
- m (10/5): fantastic accomodation- our holiday was saved - we originally stayed in central london but "escaped" from former hotel due to dissatisfaction from dire standard of cleanniness. luckily for us we found by chance an apartment available in fox apartments. since we are a family of 5 finding such accomodation in short notice in london is nor trivial. it could be said that our holiday was saved . the apartment is fantastic : plenty of space, modern, clean, full faclities which are very important when you stay for over a week , beautifuly furnished. in short- a place where a family can enjoy themselves for a length of time while giving each other space. even though it is in zone 3 , it's worth the travel to centre of town. we would definitely go back.
- Forward Family (10/5): Home away from home - This was so much better than we had expected, just a quick tude ride and DLR and you are almost on the doorstep. Great quiet location, just what you need on holidays, very family friendly, highly recommend for families visiting London.
- Alain (6/5): Nice but remote - Large service appartment on the east side of Canary Wharf. Well positioned for the O2 but a bit remote for central London. Check in and check out procedures not in line with normal appart-hotel practice.
- R (10/5): A good choice as long as the Underground is operating - Our family of 7 persons stayed here for 3 nights on two separate occasions from May 16 thru May 31, 2009. It's quite a ways away from central London but was easy to get to on the Underground--Custom House Station is about a block away. Very spacious, two level apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths upstairs, and kitchen with dishwasher and clothes washer / dryer, living room with dining area and study and 1/2 bath downstairs. Quiet and comfortable. When windows open in living room, sometimes let smoke in from bar / restaurant patio on level below the apartment. A few nearby restaurants and take-out food places and several grocery markets within walking distance. Last 3 days there was less pleasant because of disruption of the Underground service and somewhat spotty bus links made getting back into central London a bit more challenging.
