• Fabrice (8/5): Chambre confortable et bon petit déjeuner, arrêt de bus devant l'hôtel. - les arrêts de bus qui mènent à la gare centrale ou à la gare Sloterdijk (pour aller à l'aéroport) sont devant l'hôtel, le petit déjeuner est varié, bon accueil à notre arrivée, propreté de la chambre et confort du lit, la belle taille de la salle de bains, une armoire pour vider les valises, les 2 piscines si le temps le permet. Un peu d'usure sur le mobilier, les finitions dans la salle de bains, le bas de la porte de chambre qui ne touche pas le sol !!!??? dans le couloir on entend les conversations des chambres, le fauteuil qui est désuet, vue sur les rails.

The welcome waffle at check in was a nice touch. It was a little out of the centre with not a lot to do in the area but there was a good bus link into the city centre. It was good value for money. We cant comment on the breakfast as we were room only therefore did not have breakfast which did seem quite expensive Breakfast could be more reasonably priced

I liked everything .if I had to say one thing is maybe the homeless people sat out side the hotel in the evening. Although they didn't cause any trouble just a bit noisy through the night .wouldn't put me off coming back.

• JILL (8/5): Great location, well presented, comfortable stay - Breakfast offered a good variety of choices but the hot food suffered from batch cooking. The fried eggs could bounce and needed a machete to get into them. Cold buffet was very good. Being a popular tour group hotel breakfast was often very busy and staff struggled to keep up with clearing tables and refilling food. Location was good for an out of city centre hotel. No 22 bus linked the 2 stations making it easy to get to from the airport and then easy to get into the centre. The staff were generally very polite and helpful. We experienced one unpleasant interaction in the bar but the reception staff were excellent. My room was small. Admittedly it was a single, but for the price it was not a bargain. The fried eggs, as previously mentioned, are to be avoided.

• Robin (8/5): Nice hotel, nice staff, ideal location ... - Very nice hotel on the 22 bus route (easy access to Schipol and Central Station). A very comfortable stay as far as the room was concerned - decent size and usual facilities including not brilliant Wi-fi on 6th floor. Varied breakfast including Cooked (not brilliant - the Scrambled Egg is unique!) and Continental (very good). Staff were very helpful at all times. In many ways this hotel deserves a top rating but, given my experience (detailed below), I am afraid I cannot give full marks. Don't let it put you off booking as ideal location to get around Am'dam with frequent bus service just outside hotel. The dining area at b'fast was very crowded. This is a 'tour groups hotel' and tour group people just seem to think they own the place. Went for a drink in the bar/dining area one evening and was told rather bluntly "You can't sit there! Its reserved" (for a tour group I guessed). A drink would have taken 30 mins tops. Was offered a pokey table in the corner not suitable for 3 people. As a paying - and its not cheap is it? - customer I don't expect this sort of treatment. Needless to say, never returned to the bar for a drink.

Arrived Easter Sunday to find packet of crisps, bottle of water and a large bag of Easter eggs. Breakfast was good and meals served in restaurant was delicious. Couldn’t find fault with the property.

I expected something different, but it served our needs for the two nights we were in Amsterdam. The restaurant and bar were odd as was the menu. Hotel is much plainer than what was represented online. I just expected better facilities.
