Great Location as it is quite close to a subway Train Station and the Conference Center. Nice Views of the Harbour from the Room (if you choose an Harbor View one). Less pricey Options for Restaurant inside the Hotel and for Breakfast. In the Hotel, a small Dinner would cost easily over USD100 for 2 Persons and Breakfast up to USD50-60, granted that the Ambience (live Singer) and the night Views are good.

• Doris (10/5): Wir würden immer genau hier wieder übernachten! - Schöne, wenn auch nicht allzu große, saubere Zimmer mit fantastischem Ausblick auf Hongkong. Tolle Lage direkt an der Messe Hongkong und für schöne kilometerlange Spaziergänge an der Uferpromenade super geeignet! Ein umwerfendes Frühstücksbuffet, eigentlich eher Brunch-Buffet, an dem man sich satt essen kann und dann erst wieder zum Dinner gehen muss. Man kann zu Fuß zu den Fähren, ist ein paar Schritte von riesigen Shopping-Malls entfernt! Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn auch nicht ganz günstig aber allenfalls seinen Preis wert!

We decided to lash out on our last night .... They were disgusting. We love both lobster and caviar and expected much more than we were served. Otherwise our stay was great.

As with many of my trips to this hotel dating back to 2003, it hasn't disappointed. Great staff experience, excellent facilities as always and a lovely atmosphere, it makes the stay in Hong Kong all the more pleasurable. • knn-44 (10/5): Comfortable stay with fantastic views of the skyline and harbour - Great location (just by the harbour) and accessible (sheltered walkway to MTR). Very nicely appointed too. Not usually a fan of the gold tones used in many Renaissance hotels, but this hotel felt like it blended in with the decor, rather than being too loud. And the harbour/skyline views - absolutely spectacular! Only thing though is that at peak hours, the queues can get really long.

From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming. She went above and beyond by upgrading our room, which made our stay feel extra special, and even surprised us with a cute little plushie — such a thoughtful touch! Kaylie’s professionalism and friendliness really stood out. She made us feel valued as guests and set the tone for a fantastic stay. It’s rare to come across someone who combines efficiency with such genuine kindness. Thank you, Kaylie, for making our visit so memorable, you are truly excellent at what you do!

Bij avond apero en snacks was de keuze/kwaliteit van warme gerechten iets minder dan vroeger. 1 vleesgerecht met daarnaast andere keuzes m.n. veggie currie e.d., kazen, charcuterie. (Wss door grote aantal club floor gasten was het ook niet meer aan te vullen) Veel mensen beschouwen dit als hun avondmaal en vallen aan vooraleer de nieuwe schotel nog maar werd neergezet (bij wijze van spreken). Er hangt in de club floor kamers ook een lichte geur van 'vocht'. (Niet de eerste keer dat we dit in dit hotel ondervinden) Moeten ze dringend iets aan doen!!

Pros: - Newer rooms and facilities. - Great, attentive service by all the staff, from the doormen to the registration staff, to restaurant staff and room cleaning. The service was comparable to high end hotels. - Nice interior design in both the public spaces and the rooms. Interesting, engaging environment without being overpowering or too much like a hotel. - Good location across the street from the main convention building. Four short blocks off Lockhart Rd and Hennessy Rd. - Good access to the MRT and bus lines. Connected to several places via skywalks. - A very small 7-Eleven in the attached complex. Convenient for late-night, teen-requested snacks. - The food was above par. Whether Western, Chinese, or Indian, we found the food and service above average. Cons: - Smallish room. We needed a rollaway for the two adults and one teen sharing the room, and the rollaway eliminated almost all of the space between the bed and window. We had to sit on the rollaway to use the table. - In the context of Hong Kong, priced at the high end of medium comfort. In summary: The service, food quality, and easy connections put the Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View high on my list for return trips.

I felt really welcome as I was also carrying my 1-year old toddler. There was the usual Bonvoy member greetings in the room, and I thought it was a printed card just like most of the other hotels, but when I looked again, I’m so impressed by the handwriting. The staff is extremely courteous and very well lead by Mr Tsi who is goes above and beyond to take care of his guests. I dont see any other hotel in Hongkong as great as this one. The hotel is extremely peaceful and the amenities are quite expansive. The hotel is squeaky clean and I feel this place holds value for money. • DerrickCk (10/5): Good location and nice view - I stayed at the Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel for three nights during a business trip, and overall I had a very pleasant stay. The location in Wan Chai is incredibly convenient — it’s an easy walk to the Convention and Exhibition Centre, close to the MTR, and the waterfront promenade is just outside, which made evening strolls really enjoyable. My room overlooked Victoria Harbour, and waking up to that view was the highlight of the trip. The skyline and passing ferries were gorgeous at night. The bed was comfortable and the linens were crisp; I slept well each night. The room had a decent-sized desk which made working late comfortable, plus reliable Wi‑Fi and a Nespresso machine that I used every morning.

Managed to have few scratches on my bike and myself… …once back in the hotel lobby I was welcomed by the staff with an incredible warmth: not only they offered me a towel (it was pouring down like crazy outside) but they professionally and heartfelt took care of my wounds. • George (8/5): A good choice in HKG. - The location is very good. Staff is very friendly and professional. We encounter a problem with the room and they provided solution immediately. I would expect bette environment for the breakfast area. The elevator is a problem. Staying at a high floor means you need sometime to go to your room or from your room to reception.

• Aragon0514 (10/5): Like home to us, special care😍 - The Renaissance is like home to us!😊 Albert and the executive lounge have taken such special care of us.. We have been there multiple times over the last year and all have been medically related and Albert and the executive lounge staff have taken such special care of us in these instances. We would come back and stay and recommend the Renaissance over any Hong Kong hotel❤️❤️
