Guest Reviews
- Laura (6/5): - It was just okay.
- Daniel (10/5): - An amazing place to stay in Paris
- Erwin (8/5): - The hotel staff were polite and the room was a bit small
- Susan Stuart (10/5): - Everything was thoughtfully designed, simple and attractive. The beds and bedding were comfortable and amenities were good quality and well chosen. Tea in the salon was a welcome service at the end of the day. The breakfast selections were perfect and the staff was friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The coffee was brought right away and it was hot, not always the case with cafe au lait. I enjoyed every moment!
- paul (6/5): Caters to stays of 6 days or more - Very well located hotel in the Marais! They cater to longer stays. If you book a room for 2 or 3 days they place you
in a room on the 5th floor ,where after a lift to the 4th floor,
you have to climb a flight of stairs to get to your room on the 5th floor..Breakfast is nice, with a plentiful buffet. My room was not cleaned daily.
- Nada (10/5): A boutique hotel with flair. - Nicely appointed in the Marais at walking distance of landmarks. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
- Jane (10/5): Lovely stay - Perfect location! Very clean and charming spot with very friendly and helpful staff 24 hours a day. Nice room and bath, but like all things in Paris, it is small — just be prepared, but that doesn’t detract from a strong recommendation!
- Heidi (10/5): - Wonderful tearoom with complimentary selection of most exquisite teas!
- Jessica (10/5): - Highly recommend this hotel for its charm, great location, comfort, and very friendly staff…as well as the AC, elevator, and good WiFi. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and well-located, and the hotel is very close to Place des Vosges and other attractions, and it was great to wander the streets and discover new treasures every day.
- Amanda (10/5): - Great location! Would stay here again on our next trip to Paris
- Susan (4/5): - We checked in to an indifferent staff person who the next morning was replaced by a kindly older gentleman. We had been traveling in a more temperate climate before entering the blistering temperatures Paris is experiencing.
My husband ( in our eighties but well traveled) has a heart condition and could not tolerate the heat. Changed our airline flight without hassle. Not only did the hotel not waive the second night but indeed charged us $60USD more than the initial cost indicated on our l invoice from Expedia. Paris is my favorite city to visit so to be ending this trip so negatively is disappointing. The hotel is well located; room small with the ubiquitous 10 watt bulb.
- Tequelana (8/5): - We recently stayed at Les Tournelles in Paeia with our group of 6 rooms. The hotel has a charming, boutique vibe and was spotless throughout our stay. Rooms are on the smaller side (especially if you’re used to American hotels), but they were comfortable and well kept.
The front desk team was friendly and helpful, and while French is their first language, they did their best to assist us. The AC seemed to stay around 22°C and would turn off during the night, so it was a bit warmer than we like for sleeping, but nothing that stopped us from enjoying our stay.
The location couldn’t be more convenient — buses run right in front of the hotel if you want to explore by public transport, and within walking distance you’ll find cafés, restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, and even a park for a little fresh-air break.
Overall, Les Tournelles is a clean, welcoming spot with a great location — perfect for travelers who want charm, walkability, and easy access to the city.
- Trey (8/5): - Great area to be in and easy to get to other areas of the city on foot or using trains/buses
- G. (8/5): - ac was good, wish room had a small bar bridge but rooms were very tiny. Excellent front desk staff
- Jessica (10/5): - .
- Jan (10/5): - Great location in the Marais. Lovely property with beautiful, spacious outdoor courtyard area. Unfortunately the lift to our 4th floor room was out of service, so a bit extra effort necessary to get there. Staff was great.
- Amy (10/5): Great Location - Very cozy and a great location with local restaurants and bakeries just a quick walk from the hotel. We walked or took the metro from the hotel and were able to get around the city with no problem
- Robert (10/5): - Wonderful property. Very convenient.
- Erica (10/5): Amazing Hotel in the Marais! - A wonderful hotel in the Marais. Very clean & comfortable, with a lovely team. Perfectly situated to explore an adorable neighborhood with many restaurants, shops, parks, etc in the immediate vicinity. Easy to get to the metro as well, to get anywhere in Paris.
- patrick (8/5): - great location, elevator not working, breakfast was very minimal and ceiling was sketchy
- Stanley (8/5): - Great location.
- Cassandra (10/5): - The property was quaint but impressively stylish. The design used the space effectively. And the bonus, the quietest air conditioner ever!
- Lucy (10/5): Great location, has AC! - Most importantly - this hotel has AC! I visited during the heat wave and it was such a relief to have some respite from the heat, especially at night.
The location is fantastic, many cafes and restaurants within a short walk, and streets full of great shopping. I was able to easily find buses and two subway lines within short walks.
The room was clean and pretty spacious for a solo traveller.
- William (10/5): - Loved every minute. Highly recommended.
- Rose (8/5): - The rooms were just too small - room only for one piece of luggage
- Jacques (6/5): - Prices have gone up and are too expensive for a 3 stars hotel. Water pressure ac and beds are ok.
Breakfast is boring and bread is never fresh, nor are thre the viennoiserie. The women in charge are wonderful
Concierge a re helpful
- Leanne (10/5): - The staff were really friendly and helpful.
- Joshua (8/5): - Great location. Friendly accommodating staff. Small rooms.
- david (6/5): - Tiny rooms, adequate room for one guest but literally tripping over our own (1 each) suitcases with two people. Showers had no door and water floods the floor every morning.
- Keith William (10/5): - I can repeat all the things above. My experience was that the room was extremely comfortable. It was quiet. It was serviced everyday. There's nothing where I could ask to $900
- Denise (10/5): I’d stay again! - Friendly, professional staff. Very comfortable, clean, and convenient location.
- Beth (10/5): - The best stay! It was expensive, but we enjoyed the hotel very much!
- Beth (10/5): - Wonderful amenities, location, staff. We loved the hotel!
- Susan (10/5): - Amazing location close to shops and restaurants in Marais . Staff provided exceptional courteous service especially Tariq at front desk . Will come back for sure. Excellent experience.
- Stefanie (10/5): - Super thrilled with this hotel. Excellent area. Room was definitely small but that seems to be the norm in Paris. Excellent location. Close to the best shopping and restaurants. Transit is a short walk. Overall very happy with our stay.
- Angela (8/5): - A very pleasant stay in a grestblocation
- Thomas (8/5): Lovely stay - A nice hotel in a great location. Our room was basic, but everything we needed. Breakfast was a continental breakfast each morning and a nice option to have. The area around the hotel is filled with cafes, restaurants and walking distance to Notre Dam and the river.
- Jessica (10/5): - Location is the best! Lovely Staff.
- Erica (8/5): - Lovely staff at the clean and solidly appointed hotel in Marais. They were attentive and the room very clean and surprisingly quiet. Steps to shops and restaurants.
- Ann (6/5): - The area is lovely but the hotel room was super small. Bathroom was tiny and not enough outlets.
- Tewfik (10/5): - Great
- Charles (10/5): - great location. Friendly and helpful staff.
- Darren (10/5): - The hotel was welcoming and a relaxed atmosphere.
- Kevin (10/5): - Wonderful staff and very nice breakfast downstairs
- John (10/5): Nice Place Nice Price - Hotel was well located , staff was friendly and knowledgeable . The room was small but ample and comfortable . Breakfast was good and served with a smile.
- Lesley (10/5): - We loved our stay here! Fabulous location, friendly and helpful staff, comfy bed, clean room, great shower. Room small but we managed fine. Would be nice to have coffee available in the mornings.
- richard (10/5): - Great value on room rate , clean and well attended . Beautiful breakfast room . This was my second stay and I will look forward to my next trip….also, location fantastic
- DAVID (6/5): Decent - Solid hotel - no fridge in room - friendly lounge in lobby
- Megan (10/5): - Perfect, couldn’t have asked for better
- Sebastien (10/5): - Really great location close to all major landmarks in Paris.
- Linda Joyce (10/5): - The Perfect Parisian hotel reasonable clean comfortable excellent service and excellent breakfast.
- marilys (10/5): - Great location and very nice boutique hotel.
- Jian (8/5): - Clean, Good location, friendly and helpful crew.
- Judith (10/5): - Lovely little hotel in the Maris with excellent staff.
Will definitely stay there again.
- Yew Kheat (8/5): Nice and Quaint Hotel in the Le Marais District. - Nice hotel located in the Le Marais district which was unique. Rooms were smallish but so are most hotel rooms in downtown Paris. Breakfast was nice and served with warmth and hospitality. However, the same items are served every morning.
Unfortunately the room temperature cannot be regulated so be aware of this when you travel during winter season.
- Charlotte (10/5): - Its a great cozy place right in the middle of dining and shopping options. Great staff!
- Caroline (10/5): - Beautiful little hotel in an excellent location.
The staff were lovely. The rooms are tiny but the lounge and bar available all day definitely make up for that. Breakfast beautiful and in a gorgeous room.
The television was listed as having English channels but they were not available in our room. With all the day’s activities we did not need the tv but just to note.
Definitely come back if I get the chance.
- Mary E (8/5): - Great location in Marais near place des vosges
- Wil (8/5): A favorite hotel in Paris - Frequent stays
- judith (6/5): - Very small room. Few threadbare towels. No toiletries. Location was great. Front desk folks all lovely. Only continental breakfast
- Geraldine (10/5): - Rooms are small, but very clean and tastefully appointed. All staff members were helpful and pleasant. Area is quiet and residential (lots of strollers) but offers many good local restaurants and interesting shops. Two-minute walk from historic park, Place des Vognes, and short walks to two subway lines. We'd stay here again.
- Frederique (10/5): Good location - Good location
- Margaret A (10/5): A gem - A wonderful hotel where service is tops
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location with lots of stores and cafes.
Clean and modern hotel with a cozy lounge where hot and cold drinks and cake are available for free.
The rooms on the fifth floor are not accessible with the elevator. There are a few steps from the fouth floor leading to the fifth floor.
The breakfast is 14€ and is plentiful.
I will definitely return to this hotel when I visit Paris again!
- Gary (10/5): - Renovated and updated property. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The location is in a great area of the Marais! We hope to return son.
- Pierrette (8/5): - Great value for the cost with a copious breakfast for reasonable price
- Vincent (6/5): - Smallest rooms I’ve ever seen. Staff and desk were great but the rooms are tiny
- Danielle (8/5): - Everything was perfect
- Philip (10/5): - Great location, close to very nice cafe for breakfast, good restaurants and bars selling good local beer. The road can be quite noisy at night, but we quite enjoyed that feel of being in a busy city neighbourhood. We felt safe at all times in the area.
- Ellen (10/5): Perfect hotel in a great area! - A great hotel, beautifully decorated, spotless, welcoming and very comfortable. I stayed in a single room on the 5th floor which had a tiny balcony (just room to stand, not sit), with an amazing view of the rooftops of Paris! I didn't expect to have an actual balcony, so that was an amazing bonus. The bed was very comfortable and although the room was small, it's a good use of space and perfect for me. The reception and sitting area is a lovely area to sit when you first come in, and has coffee and drinks available. Breakfast was excellent. And most of all the staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful with anything I needed. It's just near Place des Vosges, a great little park to hang out in, with art galleries around. Only 10 minutes walking to two metro stops, lots of shops and restaurants around. A perfect stay!
- Ethan (10/5): - Very lovely little hotel in a great area of the city, very kind and friendly staff and clean and comfortable rooms. Not a luxury hotel by any means, but great for a quieter stay in the city.
- celeste (6/5): - While the area is safe and quiet, this is not a hotel I would book again. After a long day of travel, we arrived to the hotel to find the entry door locked with a “be back soon” sign. This was not terribly reassuring. We stood outside for 30 minutes as we have never not been able to walk into a hotel lobby. Finally, we were let in but upon check in were informed that we would have to leave the room key with the front desk every time we left. This was not advertised and we found it very strange.
Overall, the hotel is very small. The pictures do not accurately depict this. The halls are very narrow and we constantly had to step over house cleaning equipment. Inside, the room is very small and we noticed mold in the bathroom. We also noticed the scent of what we assumed to be a dirty mop and water throughout the stay. We were also told breakfast was at 7 but were turned away one morning and then told breakfast was actually at 7:30.
Our main concern was that every time we left, we were not sure we would be able to get back into the hotel. For all of these reasons, would not recommend.
- Richard (10/5): Great location - Lovely hotel in this wonderful city.
- Joanne (8/5): - Lovely boutique hotel; however, there is only one staff member available and there were two times during our stay that the front door was locked as the manager had to take care of something else. Other than that, great location and pleasant stay.
- Josh (10/5): - Hotel was quaint and nice for our one night stay. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very pleasant stay, nice location and front desk staff helpful. After an all night flight they allowed us to check in early which was so appreciated! Would definitely stay here again!
- Alyn (10/5): - Perfect 3 star in the middle of everything.
- Nancy (10/5): - Very nice boutique hotel in the Marais. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful w gracious staff. Great neighborhood for shopping, walking and easy vicinity for all tourist places. Highly recommended.
- Erwin (8/5): - The only tiny problem with the location is the noise from outside so they provide ear plugs in the bedroom. But overall, the hotel is in an excellent location close to the Place de la Bastille and the Maison Victor Hugo as well as all the excellent dining options available in the neighbourhood.
- Bernadette (6/5): - Customer service is excellent
- David (10/5): - It was a good location and a nice place
- Mihail (10/5): - Beautiful little hotel, super clean, friendly staff and great location with many good bars and restaurants nearby.
- Justin (10/5): - Charming Parisian hotel right around the corner from Place de Vosges. We had a lovely stay!
- Daniel (10/5): - Great location, helpful staff and clean room. We loved the gifts they left for us in the room!.
- Daniel (10/5): - This was a very quaint and cute hotel. Clean and centrally located-within walking distance to a plethora of attractions and restaurants. Would go back and have already recommended to close friends from Chicago who stayed their this past spring!!
- Lisette (10/5): - We stayed for 9 nights at Les Tournelles and had a great experience. The staff was warm and welcoming, as well as helpful when needed. The room was very cute and we appreciated the AC in the hot weather. The best however is the great location in Le Marais. Close to shopping, great restaurants, and sights. Highly recommend.
- William (10/5): - Perfect hotel in a great location.
- Charles (8/5): - Small room, very little for power. No parking within a 15 minute walk.
- Adrianna (10/5): - This place was perfect for our first visit to Paris. Great neighbourhood! We walked to the Louvre, shops and great food. The staff was kind and helpful.
- James (10/5): Fun💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️ - It was so fun and enjoyable we we had so much fun there. It’s a great place and I really like it. It’s so much fun to be there.
- Sebastian (8/5): - Wonderful location in Le Marais, fire alarm at 2 in the morning, comfortable bed and the sweets with the coffee in the afternoon was a nice touch.
- Catherine (8/5): - I like this hotel but bring your earplugs because the noise from the street is loud. Staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Great location for the price.
- Zara (10/5): Charming and superb - One of my fave hotel stays anywhere, ever! Absolutely charming decor, perfect locale, and top notch service. 10 out of 10!
- barry (10/5): - very nice. well located. knowledgeable and helpful mature staff. Nice breakfast in basement with arched brick ceiling bus to Montparnasse railroad right out front of hotel door. great place for mussels just down the Rue. highly recommended
- Cara (10/5): - Wonderful stay at their lovely hotel. The staff is wonderful.
- Heather (10/5): - Well placed, clean, good service. Pricey though
- Mark (10/5): - Amazingly central location near shops, restaurants, nightlife, and tourist attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- Sophie (10/5): Outstanding hotel cannot fault it - Fabulous hotel for a few days in Paris. Location is superb with great bistrot and cafe within 3 minutes walk. The hotel is very welcoming, wonderfully decorated and clean.Beds are very comfortable. Staff were incredibly warm and welcoming and helpful with luggage and taking photos! The small lift is novel, but works well. Overall absolutely superb, would definitely return.
- Brian (8/5): - Overall a good hotel in a great location.
- Magenta (10/5): - Very nice people at the reception desk. Very helpful. Nice guests in the common room. Very lovely experience and surprisingly quiet! The room was everything I needed (single bed, private bathroom) and the price was right. I highly recommend going!
