Our room was very clean with thoughtful items such as a bottle of champagne and chocolate at our arrival. We had a private balcony with amazing views and a hot tub to relax. The best feature, according to my daughter, was breakfast! Such a wonderful selection of delicious foods always displayed with care and plentiful. I enjoyed afternoon wine on the patio! All of the staff were so kind and helpful. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to others.

Laura (9/5): Warm welcome and luxury in San Marco - The staff were lovely and very kind. The breakfast was great with plenty to choose from. They were very attentive. I liked everything really. Floor was a bit uneven in the corridor think it was a floor board but not very noticeable and didn’t detract from the quality of customer service, great room or location of the hotel.

Ellalyn (8/5): - Location was excellent, staff really friendly and our room was wonderful (but you get what you pay for and it was expensive). Breakfast were very good too. This is only.an observation but the hotel.needed more staff both at breakfast and at the bar as those there were not really able.to.manage the volume of guests. At breakfast food ran out and tables weren't cleared leaving people waiting. This wasn't the staff's fault as they were working flat out... there just weren't enough of them. It was the same on the patio in the evening for a drink. This is why we scored it an 8 otherwise we would have given a 10 as it is supposed to be a 4-star hotel and we expected this to be in place given the cost.

Yuan-Yi (9/5): 如果不介意整潔度有一些小缺點的話，整體來說還是很棒的住宿 - 地理位置非常方便，走路就可以到景點，有電梯，而且搭water taxi到站之後拖著行李走過去也不會太累。早餐豐盛，咖啡也非常好喝。馬桶看起來就是沒有刷過，毛巾架上面有灰塵（而且毛巾直接放在上面），而且床單上面也有一點點污漬。

Arrivée en bateau taxi directement au ponton de l hôtel dans le petit jardin. Terrasse le soir pour prendre un verre à l écart du monde. Tout etait très agréable

Elizabeth (9/5): Loved our stay at the Dona Palace! - Reception staff are all so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice with excellent breads in particular. The breakfast staff were also very friendly and helpful. Location for all the sights of Venice is excellent yet the room was quiet. Beds comfortable and room size good. Hooks in the bathroom would help with somewhere to put clothing/dressing gown or towel.
63pjs (10/5): Excellent place to stay - We had a wonderful stay at Dona Palace. The room was very nice, the breakfast was excellent and the back patio was a pleasant surprise. You can’t beat the location as it was just a short walk from Piazza San Marco - would definitely recommend.

Fiona (10/5): Having never been to Venice before, this trip ticked all the boxes. - We recently stayed at the Dona Palace Hotel and the experience was very enjoyable. The hotel is perfectly located with easy access to the main tourist attractions all within walking distance. The hotel offers top quality rooms as well as a buffet breakfast which caters of everyone's taste They have a lovely terrace bar which is at canal level so you can sip a drink in the evening and watch the busy waterways. I think the only challenge we had was getting from the train station to the hotel. Our direct flight to Venice had been cancelled so we had to come in from Milan via train. A very long tiring day and if we had known the distance to carry the bags from the station to the hotel, we would have got a water taxi.

sharonT7600QI (10/5): Lovely hotel, great location - We enjoyed our stay in Venice. The hotel was in an ideal location, only three minutes walk from St Marks Square. The room was very nice, only issue was it was too hot and we couldn't work out how to change the thermostat which was set at 24 degrees. Otherwise we were very happy with the hotel and the service was excellent.

Francesco (8/5): Nel cuore di Venezia - Struttura molto curata in posizione fantastica, a letteralmente due passi da piazza San Marco. Camere grandi, pulitissime e staff gentile a disposizione H24. Il fatto che per accedere al wi-fi sia obbligatorio rilasciare il consenso all'utilizzo del proprio indirizzo mail per l'invio di offerte di marketing non è accettabile. La TV è posizionata molto lontana dal letto e dovrebbe essere più grande.

The hotel has its own pier so coming in and leaving with taxi boat is easy even wit a bigger luggage. Breakfast was served in a nice salon and it was really good.

It is in an exceptionally good location at just a 3 or 4 minute walk to St. Mark's Piazza. It has a wonderful patio in the back with a dock for water taxi's making it very convenient.

GJB7272 (10/5): Always a Great Stay - I’ve stayed several times at Dona Palace and it’s always a highlight of my trip! Wonderful breakfast, great little bar (inside and outside) and the most amazing staff. While it’s just off St Mark’s Square it’s far enough away to not have any crowd issues.
