• Úrsula (10/5): Quarto charmoso e equipe acolhedora numa excelente localização - Hotel dentro de um imóvel antigo, com os quartos muito espaçosos e muito bem decorados, reformados, em estilo provençal. Gostamos demais da equipe extremamente atenciosa e acolhedora, além da localização privilegiada perto do Duomo, no centro da cidade. Café da manhã tudo fresco, suco feito na hora. As portas-janelas são duplas. A região é tranquila, localizado numa rua bem estreita, mas próximo de tudo. Banheiro moderno.

Het was maar rond de 10°C , blijkbaar wil men dan geen verwarming aansteken in de kamers en badkamer. We moesten dus onder het donsdeken kruipen om warm te hebben wat dan nog te dun was. Tevens geen lift tot volledig beneden, men moet dus zelf met de valiezen de laatste trap af.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast provided met expectations. Getting there during the staging of a marathon proved to be a big hassle as roads in the city center were closed. This was not due to any fault of the hotel but a reminder about timing when booking a location.

• Natalia (5/5): - It was located in a quiet street steps away from the main roads where all the crowds are. Breakfast was very good, there were home made cakes, and bakeries were delicious. Antica Locanda dei Mercati is a set of rooms in one floor of an old building. The reception and breakfast is served in another floor. It is evident that the apartment was subdivided to create rooms and bathrooms, which gave an awkard feeling. The room was ok, the bathroom had a transparent glass sliding door with curtains, which could be easily be changed for frosted glass and give more privacy.

• Safari42465475376 (10/5): Wonderful stay in Milan. - My wife and I really enjoyed this terrific hotel for our two nights in Milan. We would definitely stay there if we return to Milan. It's a very small hotel: only about 15 rooms. It occupies two floors of an older building in the historic area of Milan. It's a couple of minutes walk from the Duomo, la Scala and the Galleria. About a 15 minute walk to Basilica di Santa Maria delle Grazie (location of Last Supper). The small staff is attentive and made good recommendations on restaurants and things to do. Breakfast was cooked to order. The rooms were large, quiet and comfortable. A couple of caveats. Entrance to the hotel is from a small street, into a hall way, up a short staircase and then up a very small elevator to the first floor. You may want to confirm with hotel staff what room you are getting. The room we got was not as quaint as the rooms shown on the website, although still very, very nice. You should be aware that there is something a bit quirky about the hotel.

Don’t come here if you are seeking handicap accessibility. Fortunately, we are both healthy and active. Our hotel room was absolutely wobbling. The exterior wall was all glass and we had a lovely terrace all to ourselves. The location is absolutely unbeatable. I am sure we’ll be back to Milan and when we do, we will stay here again. The desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely unbeatable.

• Virginia (5/5): - the location was perfect and it was clean. the staff was friendly and the breakfast although not elaborate was good. rooms were very small. good stay for an overnighter but would not recommend for extended period of time. there is no place to put anything. the wardrobe closet was very small in our room. our friends booked the same category room as ours and their’s was much more spacious. The terrace in their room was twice the size and had ample seating for 2-4 people. Our’s had one chair and a table for 2. I also wouldn’t have classified our room as a garden view. It was a trellis with greenery. The only mirror in our room was in the bathroom. Our friends had 2 full length mirrors in their room. If you advertise rooms in the same category, they should all have the same amenities. There was nothing in the room not even a bottle of water. The lobby was bare bones…a desk and that’s it. Too many stairs. The hotel shares a building with businesses and apartments. I wouldn’t stay there again. The only thing it had going for it was the location.

Air con was very noisy so we turned it off and then of course got too hot during the night. Opened the window but found it too noisy! I think the aircon needs some maintenance. The hotel is well located just a short walk to il Duomo and parco Sempione. Felt at home. I can find nothing to complain about. Felt very much at home.

Room is small and bed is very firm. Breakfast was breads, meat, cheese, choice of eggs and yogurt. Staff is helpful. Great restaurant recommendations. Definitely go to La Brisa. In order to access the elevator/lift you have to climb about six stairs.

• Jeffrey (10/5): Great hotel, Great value, great location - The Hotel was located in a very central part of Milan. The facilities were very clean. The staff was extremely helpful. The rooms were extremely spacious. The set up for the bathroom was a little bizarre in having two separate areas for sink/toilet, and the other side of the hallway having the shower. Given this set up, there was no privacy, especially if you were not a couple sharing the room. Otherwise, I felt that the facilities were excellent. The staff was extremely helpful. We had a early check out time and they arranged for us to have at least some coffee in the morning prior to leaving to the hotel. The included breakfast was also delicious and had a good variety to offer. They arranged for a taxi transfer to go to the airport. The property was also very central, close to the Duomo, the Galleria and the nearby fortress. Perfect walking distance to a lot of the major attractions as well as shopping in the area. As I said earlier, the bathroom set up was a little unusual, which was the only negative part of the hotel.
• John (9/5): Great locations in central Milan. - Perfect location between Last Supper and LaScala. Very clean, bright rooms. Nice bathroom. Good breakfast. AC worked perfectly during our very hot stay. Very good staff! No drawers or closets. Getting to rooms from the entrance requires climbing up six steps to get to elevator on level zero. Elevator is slow, and can support either two persons with no luggage, or one person with. Very stoic mattress and pillows.
• Liz (10/5): - Absolutely love, love this place!! Incredible location with 5 minute walks to the Duomo, alla Scala, Sforza Castle, and Pinacoteca di Brera. I dare you to find a sweeter and more caring staff. Friendly and always willing to answer any of our questions and concerns. P.S. Their breakfast and attention to detail is fabulous.
