- brian (6/5): Not happy - The air conditioning worked poorly. So I slept uncomfortably. I informed management that evening but it did not improve. If it’s too warm I can’t get a good night sleep. I will not return to your hotel for that reason.

- Jeff (8/5): A great Hotel overall - So, The Gym cardio Life Fitness equipment is outdated - 3 treadmills only, The one I was using I experienced touchscreen problems, 1 was "out of order" and another a guy came in to use the other one and the noise from the belt just unbelievable. Not sure about the bikes. Housekeeping and maintenance to rooms very slow.

- Bayrak (6/5): - The hotel building and amenities is so beautiful. The TVs are old, small screen, bad colors and bad resolution. The safe box was closed and the passcode is unknown and the service didn’t fix it in spite of the everyday’s notifications I made along my four nights stay at the hotel.

The Concierge guy Athman always smiling and friendly, the new idea of having a shuttle bus to Marina came very handy however its a bitt to early. Would be better if it started around mid day and return at7pm otherwise everything was perfect
- Verified traveler (4/5): Beautiful hotel location with very poor management - Although the staff is very friendly, the lack competency with regards to overall with customer service. Housekeeping staff should be trained to do a better job. Toilets where nit clean, fridge contained spoiled food from previous guest. Trash and used plates and cutlery of the guests were was left in the hallway although housekeeping staff had seen it and simply ignored it.

- f (10/5): VERY GOOD - The hotel is very good and i cant fault it.The location is abit far from metro but the Concierge guy Athman and the reception guy Alain very both professional and smiling all the time, they actually made me extend my stay from 2 days to 6 days.

- John (10/5): - This hotel is the best around the Green Community. It's convenient, very clean, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms are very well appointed and large. And the wifi is fast too. The hotel offers a copious and varied breakfast and there's a restaurant as well as a big bar upstairs. In addition, other restaurants are available in the shopping centre. It won't take much to make this hotel into a great hotel by improving the public areas which are uninteresting. And for goodness sake, ditch the awful Chinese paintings everywhere, get a proper interior designer to enhance the place and bingo! It would turn good to great. Tip: ask for a lake-view room and you may get an upgrade free.

- William (10/5): Better than home - The staff were outstanding. Chef Shawn made a special pizza for our friends children and he made us several different meals that were fabulous. Anac our host was always checking on us to see if we needed anything. All the staff addressed us by our names. The housekeeping staff made sure we had plenty of water, coffee and bathroom supplies. We brought two groups of our friends over for evening meals and drinks. The restrant and bar staff were outstanding. The service was so good we extended our stay four additional days and booked a room for our son.

This is a major safety issue. Room was not up to Marriott standard, carpet had red stains in multiple places. Curtains were soiled and need to be replaced.

- Nela (10/5): Great hotel - This is the 4th time I have stopped here and everyone is very friendly right across the hotel. Rooms are large, well equipped and cleaned to a high standard. Location is great for me as I have friends out on GCS but maybe not so convenient if you want to be in the centre of things. The Neighborhood restaurant has a great selection of food plus a happy hour every day! The pool area is generally quiet with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas plus attentive staff. The reception area is cool and calm and the front of house staff and concierge extremely friendly and helpful. My only gripes and they are minor are that I always have trouble with the tv in the room and there are no plug sockets by the bed! Overall this is a great hotel for the money and I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is located next to a small mall which has the supermarket and many restaurants also the hotel offers a free transfer to 2 malls. ( battuta and Emirate mall ) , sadly not Dubai mall , but it is reachable by metro from emirate mall. The breakfast was nice, maybe a bit small for some.

- Nela (10/5): Great for friends - This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed and it was just as great as the first time. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has great amenities and the pool area is generally quiet. Only criticism I’d make is that while I was there only 4 parasols were available as the others were broken which resulted in a bit of stealth planning to secure one! I stay here as it’s close to friends I have living in the area.

We felt very welcome and the atmosphere was positive and alive. The room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of space with storage, desk and arm chair with foot stool. Mini-bar was made available in the room if we wanted to use it. The front desk was very helpful when we requested an extra blanket and were very prompt to bring it to our room. Nice hotel with the renovations and the included breakfast buffet was decent as well.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Average. Wouldn't recommend. - Average. Not as described - there is not a separate shower, but instead an extremely narrow and uncomfortable bathtub with a showerhead. The hotel staff took time to explain that all rooms were like this - and weren't helpful along the way. To begin with, I was even checked in to a room with a parking lot view, having booked a city view room - it's evident that if you book through Hotels.com, they offer a lower preference. In comparison to the many other hotels in Dubai, I'd definitely go for other locations in future.

At short notice, this hotel staff made our stay very enjoyable and memorable by decorating our room at night and providing a special cake for us! - Verified traveler (10/5): Location - We were visiting family resident in Dubai and the hotel is located close to where they are living. Excellent hotel which has direct access to a small shopping mall. The hotel is located in a residential area in the suburbs and not really suitable for people wishing to spend their time in downtown Dubai or on the coast - extensive travel required. However for those who want to relax around the pool and enjoy the restaurants the hotel is ideal. The hotel is busy at the weekend when the local expats visit with children for the brunch but it is not a clubbing scene. The front desk manager, Quintas, is worthy of a mention for his exceptional customer service.

- Karin (4/5): Hotel too far and difficult to find - We were looking for a hotel which would be in a green area in Dubai and were thinking that Green Community would be a part of Dubai, but it was way out of the city and very difficult to find as we were driving ourselves and ended up hiring a taxi to guide us there
- Hazel (4/5): Who'd have thought it was a Marriott.. - Generally disappointed with our experience. First impression of the place was terrible as access is behind the mall / supermarket therefore filled with trucks and bins. Three ladies travelling together so booked a 2 bedroom apartment (1king/2twin), but had to spend the first night in a 2king apartment, thus sharing beds. There's rarely anyone on the desk in the apartment block so making contact with staff and/or management was a tedious affair - we had a few problems with keys usually resulting in a hike back to reception. The whole place is tired and in dire need of total refurbishment - this too is relevant for the hotel on site. Paints flaking, cracked / broken tiles, lights are broken (the bridge from the hotel to apartment is unlit and an accident waiting to happen) and all the outdoor furniture needs serious work or should be scrapped. We used the stairs on two occasions and both times ended up in areas, one assumes which were meant only for staff - bins, old machinery and garments hung up .. Slightly concerning for a fire escape! The only real positive is that the staff were all fairly pleasant.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Not what we expected - We had booked these apartments for our stay in Dubai believing it was much closer to Dubai than it is around 45 - 60mins from the airport. We were delayed in arriving in Dubai for a day due to our being ill requiring a hospital stay. We notified Marriott Executive Apartments immediately that we would be one day later than planned they rang back to confirm our change. Upon check in we found that we had been listed as "no show" and our booking cancelled. To the credit of the gentleman on the desk he did his best to solve the situation.The facility is very pleasant and clean providing you are happy being a long way out of town.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Won't book that again - I booked a two bed apartment and when I arrived I was told it was unavailable. They tried to blame Hotels.com which turned out to be a lie. They gave me all sorts of rubbish about what was available and ended up staying in a twin room in the hotel next door. They said I would get complementary breakfast which in fact if you check the rate on Marriott's website, it's included anyway. Whilst the twin rate is cheaper and includes breakfast, the apartments are vastly superior in every way to the hotel (my friend was staying in a one bed). Our twin was average at best.
- Andre (10/5): Very nice hotel - We had 2 bedroom apt which was large. Furniture and utilities very complete. Swimming pool has cooling in hot summer. Quite far from center to Jebel Ali direction but direct at Emerate road 311 so when car available, its easy to come everywhere in Dubai and around. Very nice western supermarket (pork products) and small mall directly connected to the hotel. Also lot of restaurants/food court connected.

Room was as expected, clean, temperature set to cool. Restaurant was just down stairs, a nice walking view of the pool to the restaurants available. Room service was good, when I didn't feel like leaving the room. Breakfast was nice, buffet type deal.

- Crille (8/5): Bra hotell - Ett helt okej hotell med stora fina lägenhetsrum. Hotellet ligger i anslutning till en liten galleria där man kan köpa det nödvändigaste. Tycker dock att området ligger lite för långt från beachen och exempelvis Dubai mall. Nästa gång blir det närmare stranden.

Was kept waiting at the lobby to check in for over 4hrs but yet other guests were checking in. Felt is was discrimination. The manager was quick to apologize after i complained but the same discrimination happened again the following day. Specific races are given first priority.

The negatives: (i) Had to wait approx 40 minutes for my room to be ready (ii) The reception did not check that I already paid for my stay (via hotels.com) and charged me again on check-out (I have been informed I will receive a refund within 7 - 10 working days) (iii) The location of the hotel is around a 30 min drive outside the main city. Hence, if you do decide to stay here and make frequent trips down town, rent a car to avoid hefty taxi fares. Overall, the hotel was a joy to stay in, the location was fine for us however I was disappointed by the negatives already mentioned

- JoAnna (10/5): Very Nice stay and expensive - The hotel was close and there are few options in the green community. Our first choice for employees when traveling is the Premier Inn at $99 per night with free wifi. This hotel is very clean and comfortable but at almost double the rate plus a fee for wifi it is not our hotel of choice.
