- 765willemr (2/5): Scam ! - Absolute scam ! Booked via booking months in advance and was all paid. When we got to the property it looked abandoned and there was no way to get in. Called their number and they wanted to have more money to get a code to go in. Outrageous scammers. Called booking and they tried to call and nobody picked up the phone. They are no no longer available on booking and tried to fool us that now the reservation was with Orlando hotel next door. They are in on the scam, so much is clear. PLEASE DON’T FALL FOR THIS SCAM !
- elenasP2202WF (2/5): Beware of bed bugs ! - 1. I booked a standard single room , but I got a loft room without a window , just a loft hutch!! No receptionist to help or report problems and no lift. 2. The room has sewage plumbing issues , the bathroom was stinking of sewage very badly , I tried to shut the bathroom door but it wouldn’t shut. 3. The room was dirty, lots of dust and dirt in corners and along the skirting board, broken furniture. 4. No hot water in the evening, so I had a cold shower 5. Bed had a spring mattress!!! In the morning when I woke up , I found a bed bugs in my bed ,(please see pics ) and bed bug bites which is awful,! 6. Contacted hotel and complained but was no response. Hotel is positioned next to the tube station but on a very busy road, so you will hear heavy traffic all night

- Nj (2/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS! - I only gave them 1 star because zero and negative 5 stars was not available! This was an absolutely horrifying experience! The property turned out to be an old house with individual rooms for rent, not a traditional hotel as we expected. We were placed in a basement room with no air conditioning, and it was unbearably hot. There was no one to greet us or help us check in nor did hotels.com send us a code to get in. A random person staying had to help us figure out how to get a hold of someone from the property. The entire place had a terrible odor, like unwashed armpits. We were so uncomfortable that we had to sleep sitting up because we felt unsafe, and our kids were in tears. Other guests expressed the same concerns. I feel misled by Hotels.com, as this was presented as a regular hotel. This place is not safe—avoid it at all costs! It was giving hotel Transylvania but worse!!

- James (2/5): - The hotel needs many updates. Outside and hallway lights did not work. The stairway carpeting needs to be replaced. The faucet in our room was not bolted down only cauked on. The toilet paper holder was broke. The wall fans do not work and the small desk fan they provided would not blow any air around. We could not get the hot water valve to work. One of our friends was eventually able to get it unstuck. The out door seating area in front had duct tape all around. No soap holder in the shower and no towel rack. They only provide 2 large towels and no face towels.
- 757andreap (10/5): Value for money, essentials provided, service with a smile - Easy to find, the self check in was simple,. the room was clean with modern decor, toiletries in the bathroom and clean fluffy towels, what more do you need? Ooh, a kettle? There was one of those as well, with complimentary tea coffee etc. It's good value for money and if you do need any help the staff are friendly and helpful.

- rachel (4/5): - There was absolutely no staff to assist us with things like restocking toilet paper and towels, the bathroom was so damp and musty, could barely breathe in there. The overall condition of the building, which wasn’t even the Sino Hotel but the Orlando Hotel next to Sino, was very poor and rundown. It looked unfinished or damaged. The stay was fine if you just need a bed and a place to dump your things, but it wasn’t pleasant.

- Verified traveler (4/5): I would not recommend staying in this hotel. - The ground floor window did not lock and could be opened from the outside. The staff were very helpful and tried to fix the problem but the bodged repair job didn’t work. They said could not relocate me due to being fully booked and said my only other option was to cancel my reservation and go somewhere else (which I could not do due to a commitment that night). When I asked for a partial refund I was told the maximum I would get is 25%. Also very bad smell coming from the drains in the bathroom and the pillows are uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying in this hotel.

Stated they didn't have my email address but booked through Expedia and gave all my details. Could t get hotel number until going to the front door of hotel.

- Liam (10/5): Exceeded All Expectations. - The staff were first class, loved the free personal touches (toiletries, welcome card with chocolate among other things) and fantastic location for public transport, shops etc. I will definitely be returning at a later date and happily recomend to others.

The email with door codes and access details never arrived so before i was due to head to the property i called and they sent the email straight away. Access was then quite easy. On entering the room we found it occupied with staying guest There were phone and whatsapp numbers provided no of which were answered when we called After 40 minutes of trying to get hold of someone we were told by another guest to go next door as there were staff in the adjoining building We were given a different room and checked in The room was smaller than the first one with damp marked walls, musty smell The electrical items were all of of date on the safety check some by over a year Standard was not good overall The roos were very noisy and we could hear the other guest all through the night Not very nice stay We did receive a call from the customer service the following day so I guess they knew there had been an issue with the check in and rooms

- David (2/5): The worst hotel experience I have ever had. - I had a terrible stay and had to request a transfer to a different hotel. People tried to get in my room late at night. There was very little hot water. There was no one on duty in the hotel at any time. I did receive a call from a nice lady after I complained who helped me transfer but I would say to never stay here.

- Ewa (4/5): - The hotel has a good position. Check in was very problematic. I stood at the door for 10 minutes and tried to log in, but unfortunately my data did not go through the application. I tried to call the phone number provided, but no one answered. After some time, two hotel employees were next to me. I assume so because one of them had the codes to enter and enter the room. They didn't introduce themselves, but they helped me enter the hotel and gave me a room, I couldn't have coped without them. When it comes to the room, we wanted a double bed. The room was for three people, unfortunately the double bed consisted of two single mattresses which were smaller than the size of the bed. While sleeping, the mattresses separated and it was uncomfortable for us to sleep. At night, I think the boiler was running all the time, which was so loud that it was impossible to sleep. Unfortunately, there was no one to complain to. As for the online work of the hotel itself, after entering they quickly sent me 5 e-mails to the room asking me if I wanted to extend my stay. So there was someone who wanted to communicate with me. It's a pity that he didn't answer my calls when I wanted to communicate with them. The next thing in the bathroom was a message in the shower, please close the door while showering, unfortunately. one pair of doors was missing, I am attaching a photo. Four single lights in the room, two of which worked, one had a burnt out bulb and one had no bulb. The room was
- Clint (8/5): - Just stayed because it wasn’t too expensive compared to other hotels but in my opinion, it’s a very average motel. It’s alright for a night, but not a place where I would personally come back. Check in is quite easy, there’s no member of staff on the site and rooms are not that recent.

- rmU1431AG (2/5): Avoid at all costs, absolutely vile - Completely vile. The rooms are not as advertised. The room I had was absolutely filthy, dust everywhere. The water and TV do not work, the WiFi is diabolical. The coded door on the main entrance intermittently worked resulting in having to call staff to let us in (there are no staff at the hotel). After requesting several room cleans, no room clean was made. Fresh towels requested and ones with marks on were giving. In short, avoid at all costs, it's an absolute hovel. Prison cells are cheerier and in better nick than the rooms in this total dump.

- markop960 (8/5): Contrary to other reviews - great! - I've booked this hotel without reading any reviews...After seeing what people have written about the hotel, I was terrified what to expect...When I got to London, along with my wife and three kids, and found the front door of the hotel locked, I thought a nightmare was beginning for us...But after just one phone call (the number is listed on the front door), I received the entrance code and the room code, and in a matter of minutes, my family and I were in our room! The lady who answered my call was very nice and helpful, and explained the check-in procedure thorougly! I received an email and a Wapp message with all the infos as soon as I connected to the hotel wi-fi...The room was very nice and clean, with fresh towels, coffee, tee, cooker, bottled water, a fridge, TV...In the bathroom, everything was working - plenty of hot water, toilets tidy, enough paper, soap, shampoo, shower gel...Beds comfortable, with two pillows per person...There was enough space for the five of us...The only thing that bothered us a bit is that our room had no closet space, so we had to keep our clothes in the suitcases, without unpacking...But, all in all, it was great! If You are booking a budget hotel, You need to be aware You can't expect golden doorknobs and crystal chandeliers. This is a lovely hotel in a great neighbourhood, close to the tube, everything was clean and tidy, so I definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a decent place to sleep when discovering London, without expecting too much.

The room had a damp smell that was annoying. The room was big though and beds were comfortable (except for one).
- D8606TFdana (2/5): Vile hotel. - This has got to be one of the most awful experiences of my life. The room was quite frankly FILTHY. Woke up on day 2 to discover the water was not working. The online help was absolutely useless (there is no reception so you don't ever see/ speak to someone!) and didn't offer and useful support. Not even some extra bottled water to compensate. On the second night we were woken up at 3am because the room above us decided to have a party. Again, because there is no reception the only way to contact someone is via whatsapp messages. Eventually, after about an hour it was finally sorted. Basically, this is an awful hotel and how they can justify over £300 for 2 nights is disgusting. Not long after we left we received a phone call to ask how our stay was! Bloody cheek considering they'd had multiple messages from us outlining problems they failed to do anything about. Do not stay here. It should be closed down!!!!!

Could have had a shower and a bidet at same time if you had the courage to go in the bathroom.. Management thought it ok just to keep moving us. Totally disastrous weekend. Refused any sort of refund or compensation.NO on-site representation. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
- barrykE3179FY (8/5): Basic but good - My room, 36, was a small attic room with a single bed. Basic but comfortable and clean. Hot drinks facility and TV - neither used. Own toilet and shower, shower was nice in the morning! Room had a fridge which was quite noisy. Turned off for a better night sleep. Velux window with a blind which I found hard to reach so had to stand on the bed to pull it down. I'd imagine this room will be quite hot in the summer. Ideal location for Hammersmith Odeon which is roughly a 10 minute walk, with Hammersmith tube a few minutes closer. I stayed here a few years ago and would happily stay again.

First one- no washing facilities, second one- bathroom ceiling let in flood of rainwater over the toilet rendering it unusable. Absolute nightmare and management refused to even consider compensation. Avoid at all costs.
- TonydHull (2/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS - The rooms a nothing like those advertised. Our first room was unfit for habitation. Thick dust on the shelves of the hanging space, no washing facilities. Second room-badly cracked basin, tap not fitted properly Bathroom ceiling leaked rainwater so badly unable to use toilet, exposed carpet gripper. Room double booked. Third room NEARLY approached acceptable but even this had faulty shower. Complained and sent full report but after chasing up, told claim dismissed on the grounds that I maintained that room too high in building for our age and "their onsite people" would not substantiate my claims.
- G9448YEalicef (2/5): This place should be closed - The room was under the roof, we couldn't open the windows so it was really hot. We had 2 fans but none of them was efficient. When we arrived we had to sleep in a room without towels and with the previous guest sheets because none cleaned the room and the number of the hotel didn't work. It took us a whole day to have it cleaned. A homeless guy was sleeping in the room next to ours when the person who booked it arrived. At the beginning there was no wifi at all. The structure has no emergency stairs and none is there if you need something. They "clean" your room only when you arrive: we stayed there one week with the same towels and sheets and with the only bin of the room completely full. There was no space to move inside the room and in the bathroom: we had to dry ourselves inside the shower because there was no room outside. The doors don't really close and let in a LOT of light. There was MOLD on my mattress. We also had to buy toilet paper cause there was not a single roll. In general the conditions of the structure are not hygienic at all and I'd rather sleep in a hostel then staying again at the OYO Sino. This hotel should be closed.

The reception carpet is worn out and there is damage to the interior, like broken doors. It does not feel well managed nor safe. The location is great near the tube and the shops, pubs etc. There is no key and guests have to rely on a code system to access the building, and then access the room using another code. It is not as good as an old lock and key. WIFI was fine, TV worked, hot water ok, bed clean. Not the worst place I have stayed in London.
- KumarA1988 (2/5): Total Waste of Money and Mental Harassments - Stayed in this hotel for a night and it was mental torture. At first, they gave me a room (1 bed) in the basement, I went out to have some food nearby and when I came back there was no electricity in the room. Somehow I managed to find my phone charger using my phone torch. I tried to reach out to the customer manager (on the number printed as to contact in case of any help) but there was no response in the first 15 minutes. Later I was told the manager is on his way to meet me and rectify the issue. I tried to reach out OYO Helpline number - which couldn't be connected even though the auto-bot service of OYO is useless. After around 90 minutes - of sitting and waiting on the stairs of the above floor, somehow I was given a new room but still, there was no manager / no staff who showed up to help - everything was on phone. The problem didn't end up there - there was a TV in the room but without a remote - then the towel was missing (i went to the old room to take one from there) - later there's was no hot water in the room to take bath. I was so frustrated reaching out OYO helpline but didn't get any support or help. No reply on phone or on emails. I'd recommend my friends and colleagues to avoid OYO hotels for such mental harassment.
- SupernovaSoulSaver (2/5): STAY AWAY!!! Shocker - If you have any sense you would avoid this place at all costs, if you value your safety and sanity then please please book somewhere else.. The place looks like it could fall down at any minute, the rooms are disgusting and they stink.. There are no staff it’s all done over the phone to get in, which takes an age to get through to. Bed is uncomfy and the room looked tired.. to top it all off there is no running water in the taps or shower, contacted management but they completely ignored the issue and left me no opportunity to shower. Complete disgrace of a place.. STAY AWAY!!
- nielschristianb2013 (2/5): Just don't book here - From the second you step inside the hotel the smell of sewer hits you. The room was not clean and the bathroom directly filthy. Beds were poor quality, TV not working, chair broke and the walls are so thin that it fells like your are constantly sharing room with the entire hotel. You can hear everything. This is nothing but easy money for people that has less than no regard for the guests. If they had, they would close this dump. If in any doubt I can not say it any clearer DO NOT BOOK.
- 950ramonak (2/5): Horrible customer service & last minute cancellation - Very bad experience, wouldn't recommend it for anyone. We received the room number & key code via text message, but once we got there we found somebody else's belongings in the room and somebody in the toilet. There was no reception or staff to help us so we called the customer service number. Our call went to India, and the person on the phone wasn't able to help. After a while we found a cleaner who had let the other guest in that room because they didn't remember their key code. She offered to remove that person's luggage from the room and let us in instead. She was also very happy to tell us that in fact there was nobody in the toilet - the toilet was just broken and therefore making noise. We refused to get into that room, since it didn’t make us comfortable to think that - somebody had been in that room and it wasn’t cleaned after them; - someone most likely has the key code and will be able to enter the room at any time; - the person whose luggage would be removed would come back at some point and be in the same situation than us, finding us from his room; - the cleaner apparently lets people in any room upon a request, without checking more on it; - toilet in that room was broken. Apparently the manager had been hanging out on the yard at our arrival, and clearly heard us talking on the phone about the issue, but decided to flee from the site. Finally we got hold of him, who then said that we had canceled our reservation ourselves (which we didn’t). Check-in time started at 3pm, and at 4pm (just half an hour before we arrived) we had been sent an email saying that the hotel had canceled our stay. We already had the key codes, so we were able to enter the room and it was just about luck that another person happened to be there before us. The manager kept pretending that he didn’t know anything about the cancellation, until I asked him - “the name on the email is you, isn’t it?” He got quiet and hung up the phone. Needless to say, after all this we left and stayed in another hotel instead. Based on our experience I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, absolutely terrible customer service and very poor management.
