- Paul (6/5): Water pressure in rooms - Beautiful new hotel, reasonably clean and tidy. The price justifys itself in relation to all. It is a long way from the city center. We used it as a base for work. The job we were on in construction was quite a dusty dirty one and we were looking forward to a decent shower. For such a new hotel we expected it to have good water pressure but it was extremly dissapointing. It may be the pressure is turned down to conserve water but if the water pressure is going to be that poor the rating should be 3 star and the price considerably less.

- Patricia (10/5): A Moooving Stay At The Red Cow - We had a fantastic stay at the Red Cow Moran. Staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable and breakfast is tasty and plentiful. It’s nice to see the red cow theme running throughout the hotel too.

- James (6/5): - Breakfast was a disaster...no booking system in place. Had to queue to get in then another queue for the buffet. Pro tip...tell them you want take away breakfast and just sit down inside anyway which is what we saw a lot of people do with help from a manager. Asked for an extra pillow did not get it, nearly had to pay for parking even tho I had free parking. Mask enforcement for customers non existent. A lot of cigarette butts outside our window.

Rather expensive drinks at the bar - prices similar to central London (ouch) which for a hotel in the outskirts of Dublin is strange. We accidentally forgot something in the room and we called them to retrieve it, they found it and kept it safe but when we went back to the hotel to get it back it was a bit of a nightmare to recover the item - staff should communicate better internally.
- john (2/5): Shocking - Reception the guy had no professionalism and was rude there is a right way and a wrong way to address situations his was certainly the wrong way picked us out as soon as we walked in , rooms we ok but room was filthy and water pressure shocking and one towel for a couple to use . - Maria (6/5): Disappointing - Check in desk very slow. Advertising room service by leaving menus in room but when you try and order online like it instructs you at top of menu, you can't do so, and when you ring reception like it states also on top of menu, no one answers the phone. You need to go down and order food through restaurant, go back to your room and wait for a phone call to tell you when its ready, so you can go back down and collect it, to bring it back up to your room. When we did receive our order it went as follows..... Childrens menu price over the top expensive €8.95 for 10 chips and 3 chicken goujons. Ridiculous. Used false nails from previous guests presumably, found on bathroom sink unit and room carpet. Tried to ring housekeeping but again no answer. Went down to reception to sort it out but queue was too long to be waiting. After making a long journey to come home to Ireland, I was just to tired to argue. Honestly thought this would have been a better standard hotel. Sadly this time it was not.
- Rich (6/5): - It was busy while we were there. Seems like the staff could not keep up. Room was acceptable, but certainly not as pristine as their radio ads say. The cabinets had some broken handles so door were difficult to open. There was no small refrigerator for personal drinks. The sheets on the bed were not fitted sheets, only flat sheets that shifted while you sleep. There were not a selection of extra pillows for different thicknesses. Overall not bad, but should have been better for the price.
- Sam (6/5): Great staff and food, but lots of issues... - Spent two nights with two adults and two children. Arrived on Sunday evening at 7pm. Place was absolutely heaving as there was a night club / function on. We were placed in a room two floors above this. The doors in the bedroom were vibrating with the bass so we asked to be moved. We were first told we would have to move to a room with 3 single beds but then another room became available in the new part of the hotel. This was also not ready, and it was another 90 min before we could get moved in, although we did get acomplimentary drink. Much nicer room, but the whole place stank of weed and drink, with bottles sitting all along the corridors. Bed was king size, but with a normal duvet in the cover. The staff did their best and were very helpful but there are obvious issues in how the hotel is being run and they were under a lot of pressure. Sorry to say that I could not stay here again - just too many small things.

- Sharon (2/5): Worst experience EVER - 30 minutes plus of a wait to check in. Lots of groups/teams.. we had a terrible night. Never closed our eyes all night due to loud music and partying on our floor. Security had to be called more than once. We checked out first thing to a very limp apology and the promise that we would get a follow up call which never happened.

Member of staff opened the door - bed wasn’t made up. Spoke to manager who told us this was only room in hotel so we had to find another hotel in Dublin with 2 small children at 8:30 pm . The worst service. They said I hadn’t been charged and guess what they have charged me got this experience. If I could give 0 stars I would

- darren (2/5): Awful - The hotel is seriously dated in the area I stayed, I did not get the room i booked (was given a family room instead of a Junior suite). I had to pay for parking despite pre paying for it in my booking. The shower had no hot water, the bath is filthy, the jacuzzi that is advertised in room does not work and does not even have a starter button, the bins had not been emptied from the previous nights occupancy, the window leaked, the bath doesn't have a plug that works, in general fairly shabby and to top it, room service does not operate after 9.30pm and the bar closes at 10pm with no further services for guests.

The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful, they were not willing to accommodate my stay in a style which suited my basic needs. - Iain (2/5): - The hotel is very convenient for a lot of business travellers. However, on the hottest day of the year, there is no air conditioning and the windows only open about 1cm. The reception offered a fan, but that simply blows around the hot air. To top it all off, the shower drain was blocked so any shower (necessary to cool down) resulted in a flood that spilled out of the bathroom and across the carpet. Response from hotel was not useful by offering an upgrade on my next stay - as if that is going to happen. At this price i expected a lot better!!

Hugely disappointed, i had initially booked the winter garden superior room, asked for a room with bath tub and requested a fridge when making the booking as i was travelling with an infant. When i got to the room neighter was available, i was told no winter garden room has a bath tub which is a contradication of what is advertised on the room infomation of the website. The Room was very dusty and smelled of cigarette smoke, the tissue rolls in the bathroom where half used, you wouldn't expect to find this especially in the middle of a pandemic honestly. Had to ask to be moved to a different from, got moved to a family room, not pleased at all as i was looking forward to that particular room i booked and paid more for. Family room had no room temperature control, the heating was on, room was very warm even after turningbof the heater. couldnt open a window overnight as it was too loud.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Felt very unsafe re Covid-19 - I have stayed here before and previously I didn't have any issues. My main concern this time was that there was very little reassurance when it came to Covid-19. Upon entrance we were met with an empty hand sanitiser dispenser. There were next to no signage re Covid-19 visible in the hotel except at the main hotel entrance. Other guests were not wearing masks and the staff at the hotel did not seem to mind. I will say that staff did wear masks/visors, although while leaving the restaurant the restaurant manager had taken his off and was swinging it around in his hand while talking to another guest who did not have a face mask on. The rooms were very clean but again there was no reassuance that they had been cleaned to Covid-19 standard. The soap in the bathroom was not anti-bacterial. Overall we both felt very unsafe and will not return until after the pandemic.

- Martin (8/5): Bit corporate but handy for Luas - Nice hotel, reasonably friendly staff but a bit corporate, felt a bit "sales rep". Almighty row a few doors down from us at four in the morning with drunks screaming and banging doors for ages which no one attended to, but still, I can't blame that on the hotel. Very good meal in the bar well priced and Guinness nigh on perfect. Would stay again as the Luas tram is handy for nipping into central Dublin ( about 20 minute trip).

Staff were lovely. We were overcharged on checkout but reception quickly fixed the problem.

We all had a fabulous time and loved the facilities. If I was to have one gripe it would the fact that the bathroom have have shower curtains. Other than that I would recommend the hotel and I would definitely stay there again.
- Deborah (8/5): Great Hotel! - The hotel staff was wonderful and the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The hotel cafe and restaurant were also very good. We enjoyed our stay there very much. The only downside for us was the hotel is a 20 minute ride via taxi or Uber to downtown Dublin for sightseeing.

I fell over in my room and ended up being taken to hospital by ambulance Kenneth was on the phone next morning to make I was ok and offered to pay any bills I’d encountered. What a lovely guy and great gesture which went along way with myself.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Lovely hotel - request a quiet/newer room - The hotel & staff are lovely and very accomodating. Room service was very tasty. However despite a comfortable clean room I didn't get a good sleep. If you are staying here, request a room at the back of the hotel. 1) My room was at the front of the hotel. It wasn't the traffic noises that disturbed, that was actually fine. The hotel has floodlit the entire front of the hotel. With proper blackout curtains this would be OK - however the cornicing means there are large gaps between the ceiling and the window - lots of extremely bright light coming in. 2) The doors allow a large amount of sound to enter. The person in the adjoining room was a snorer (it happens) and I actually got a fright when coming out from the bathroom as I thought there was someone in my room. Exterior door also did not do much to muffle noise from the corridor. All in all a very nice hotel, but just a few things that could be improved.

- Andy (4/5): Not the best - Leaking bathroom toilet, food was abismal and expensive. Bedroom set up was excellent plenty of space but distance to the hotel states a 2 minute walk from the laus stop, took us 8/9 minutes walking and we're fast walkers. Checking in was so rushed as if the receptionist didn't care, night staff was rude when I asked for 2 dental kits, gave me one and told us to share. Asked for breakfast at 1015 and didn't show til 1130 with the wrong order and overcharged us. Would recommend ordering food to the hotel.

- Annette (8/5): Enjoyable stay :) - We are a family of 5. Our kids are 17,14, and 12 so we decided to get 2 rooms as they've got too big to share with us. The 2 rooms were opposite each other so it was perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. The location is good off the M50 but my only complaint is (and it's not the hotel's fault really) you have to drive all over the place in order to get in and out of the hotel. Bearing this in mind I still would stay here again.

- Dayne (6/5): - We arrived 30 minutes after check in time to be told our room wasn't ready. After 15 minutes we were sent to a room that hadn't been cleaned yet. In fairness the poor cleaner was rushed off her feet so we asked if we could leave our bags in the room and come back after it had been cleaned. We waited in the hotel bar where we ordered 3 minerals, 2 of which were served in dirty glasses. When I asked for clean glasses the bar staff didn't even apologize. We recieved 3 towels for 4 people, 1 pillow per bed and the room itself was at the end of the hall and was quite small for a family room (there was a support beam running through the room between 2 of the beds). We stayed in a family room at the same hotel a few years ago and it was much more suitable, this room felt as if they were trying to squeeze in an extra room at the end of the floor. The hotel reception staff and bar staff were not as friendly/helpful as we would expect but all other staff were exceptional. On the plus side the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and all very tasty. Overall our experience was a bit disappointing especially for a 4 star hotel. Very disappointed to find at check out that hotel guests are charged the same for parking as anyone who just decides to use the hotel car park.

- Holly (10/5): Great little stay at an amazing hotel - Myself and 2 friends stayed here from 30/12 to 01/20 to celebrate new years. The hotel was beautuful, its so clean and modern and in all honesty looked very fancy. Even coming home at 130am and requesting another pillow and tea bags they were delivered to our room in under 5 minutes. The only tiny downside was the shower, its was a little dated and weak in its water power but in the grand scheme of life thats a tiny negative in a sea of positives

I didn’t ring down to reception as I felt that it would just make the situation worse.

- Neil (4/5): Poor 4* hotel outskirts dublin - Way out of the city in an industrial/commercial area. Very rude lady checking people in or trying to. Never heard any receptionist anywhere as rude. Room modern and clean but only because paid for a winter garden upgrade room. Would not stay here again as much better hotels in the city or revamped dock areas.
