- Guide553576 (10/5): The Perfect Paris Location - Hotel de Sers is one of those properties that will have you returning over and over. From the affordability to the hospitality, they provided a wonderful experience for me and my husband. The room was beautiful and the staff, superb. Room service is everything for the traveler and wow, did they deliver - literally. A wonderful experience in the perfect location steps from the Champs Elysees. Anything we needed was within walking distance, and when we needed a taxi, the front desk called one. A definite five-star experience.
- W5602QSlisam (4/5): A lovely hotel overshadowed by noise issues - This is one of the most difficult reviews I’ve ever written, because so much about Hotel de Sers deserves a glowing five-star rating. The hotel itself is undeniably charming, with tasteful design and a boutique feel. Our room had recently been renovated and was absolutely stunning—like stepping into a chic Parisian apartment. We were welcomed with complimentary chocolates and fresh water, and the location is ideal for exploring Paris. The staff was warm, attentive, and gracious throughout our stay. But unfortunately, one major issue overshadowed all of this: the noise. Our room faced the street, and while the view of the ornate Parisian facades across the way initially delighted me, we quickly discovered that a nightclub is located directly across from the hotel. While the area is quiet during the day and early evening, things change drastically around 1:00 a.m. when the club opens its doors. The noise level becomes extremely loud and continues unabated until approximately 6:00 a.m.—every single night. We endured this for five nights straight. Even with high-quality earplugs designed to seal the ear canal, I could hear the bass thumping through the walls, along with laughter, shouting, and crowds gathering outside. We slept very little during what was meant to be a celebratory trip—our first time in Paris and a special 60th birthday for my husband. We requested a room change early in our stay, but the hotel was fully booked and couldn’t accommodate us until our final night. By then, the damage to our experience had already been done. To their credit, the staff listened sympathetically, and we voiced our concerns multiple times. Upon checkout, the front desk acknowledged that other guests have raised the same issue and encouraged us to leave a review. So here is my advice: if you plan to stay at Hotel de Sers and value a full night’s sleep, insist on a courtyard-facing room. The noise from the nightclub is not a minor inconvenience—it is a serious disruption. Had we known this, we would have changed hotels immediately. There's a Four Seasons next door, and we absolutely would have relocated had we realized how relentless the noise would be. It’s such a shame, because this hotel has so much going for it. But until the nightclub situation is resolved—or guests are clearly warned when booking—I cannot recommend staying in a street-facing room under any circumstances.

All for people having fun, but I planned on sleeping… big mistake! Really disappointing and would avoid at all cost. I like music, but I’d just go to the club all night if I didn’t want to sleep and listen to music.

We were a group of six girls for a long weekend. We were welcomed so warmly and given a glass of champagne. Cedric arranged for our rooms to be ready early which was so appreciated after flying all night. My friend's room and door had been decorated for her birthday and Rafael had cake for use that evening as well. Bob, Matheiu and Stephanie at the front desk were ready to assist with whatever was needed; cabs, water, luggage or friendly conversation and laughs. Etienne was our server at breakfast and was so attentive. The continental breakfast was delicious; so fresh with fruit and yogurt. A basket of bread filled with croissants, baguettes, apple bread and pan de chocolate. as well as fluffy scrambled eggs. I am sure I am missing someone's name so I will just say everyone was amazing! I cannot say enough good things! And believe me, they put up with quite a bit of shenanigans from us, but they truly seemed to share in our joy, I would 100% return here and cannot recommend it any more strongly.

The next morning we didn’t have a hot water, I asked about that at the reception, and, fortunately, we were moved to the 7th floor. Absolutely different experience! Such an amazing room, beautiful, comfortable, with the nice view and terrace. So appreciate for the upgrade! All stuff was extremely nice and helpful. I would say I never ever met the same. It’s a big treasure for the owner, keep your team safe, they do all the job!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - At around $ 400/night (breakfast included) this was not cheap, but considering this is Paris, good value. Location is less than 10 minutes walking from the Champs Elysees, and the hotel is just around the corner of the Georges V. The breakfast was excellent, typically French, with exquisite baguettes, croissants, pains au chocolat and other sweet rolls. Fresh orange juice, eggs, yogurt... Delicious. The only negative was that the three times that we ordered Caffe Latte in the lobby/restaurant area during the day, it took close to 30 minutes. We will return to the Hotel de Sers.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, it’s situated in a great location close to Champs Elysees and other points of interest, and was very quiet. We had 2 rooms that were next to one another (not connecting) but the interior was beautifully decorated and although the rooms and bathrooms were a bit on the small side, they were clean, quiet and nicely appointed. The concierge helped us secure dinner reservations and we never waited more than a few minutes for a taxi.

Shower in room was not poor and bath dirty when arrived. Rooms don’t seem as nice as they do in the pictures. Need to update a few things in rooms e.g. cupboards not closing properly in rooms. Just not quite there!!

Since we don't speak French, they helped us make restaurant reservations. Just a kindly reminder, a lot of high end restaurants require reservation, and sometimes months ahead of time especially for dinners. The hotel room is small but decent in size. We don't expect it to be big as it's in Paris. We have been to Paris multiple times and tried different hotels, this one so far is our very favorite one. We will definitely book it again.

The room was small, but extremely quiet and very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The lobby and common areas were immaculate, as was our room. Breakfast was also great. THe location (two blocks from Champs Elysee) was excellent making everything walking distance! Overall, it's an A+++ and we definitely plan on going back.

And being asked to pay extra for items such as eggs at breakfast.. and the arrogant attitude from the breakfast waiter was laughable. Sorry, you get a better standard of service from a 2 star hotel. Very disappointing
- niko (6/5): Nice small boutique hotel - Stayed at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with our needs and helped us with recommendations. Great concierge/front desk service. The room was definitely small however most rooms in Paris, unless it's a suite, are fairly small. As an avid traveler, it was a little odd that there was no late evening housekeeping or engineering on staff if an issue occured. The hotel was close to many shops and restaurants. The restaurant in the lobby was trendy and definitely had amazing cappucino as well as brunch. Most sites were walking distance as long as your willing to walk 20 minutes or so to certain attractions. The only thing to note is make sure you lock your items in a safe(a working safe) because even if you put a DO NOT DISTURB sign on your door, staff still enters which is out of the ordinary for a hotel let alone a hotel that has a 5 star rating. Overal for a boutique hotel and for a short stay in Paris, this hotel fulfilled our needs.

Guillaume at the front desk was wonderful and more than helpful. we arrived very early in the morning from the US and although our room wasn't ready, he brought us out coffees, charger for our iPhone and he offered us an area with shower, etc to freshen up in the meantime. The location is also excellent and is right off the Avenue George V near Champs-Elysees. The continental breakfast was included in our rate and it was great and in a courtyard restaurant. We will stay here again and definitely hope that Guillaume will still be there to welcome us.

- Jason (10/5): Great hotel and a great location! - We wanted to be close to Champs Elysees and this hotel is right between the Four Seasons and the Bentley car dealership so you know immediately you're in a fine location. Great restaurants and juice bars nearby. In hindsight we fell in love with the Marais neighborhood so next time we visit Paris we will likely stay in that area. Close to metros is a must when planning Paris.

Few things we couldn't find/were not working at the room - TV remote was not working and was fixed only the day after we requested to do something about it. We had a booking for 3 people, however received only 2 sets of toiletries and towels, we called reception to request another set, the cleaning lady (who didn't speak English) just opened the door herself and came in to our room without knocking to ask what we needed. Hammam and sports area are really small and fells like they are there just for a tick. Breakfast was very average, even the parts that we needed to pay for. Generally, nice location, will probably look another hotel for this price

The staff was very friendly and helpful with dinner reservations. I can't comment on the hotel food because we dined outside of the hotel for our meals, though the setting looked very nice. The bathroom we had was very spacious with a double door entrance. The only slight criticism I would note is that when using the rain shower head over our tub some water would find its way to the bathroom floor because their was no glass enclosure or curtain.

The bathroom was spacious and well appointed. **BIG THANK YOU for having the good sense to have outlets nearby the night stands! Strange that there was no coffee maker in the room. Location of the hotel is around the corner from Four Seasons George V so very close to Champs-Elysées. We walked everywhere with just a few taxis and buses used.
