The only drawback is no elevator so you need to take stairs to your room. But your luggage will be brought up and taken down for you Close to really good restaurants on the water As long as we can climb stairs this is our favorite hotel in Venice

The common areas where beautiful but very small and as we had our own private terrace we tended to use this more comfortably but if we didn’t have it, I think it was a little on the small side.

otoventures (8/5): Venice with my wife and mosquitos - Very nice hotel in a great location. Friendly staff and nice accommodations. Breakfast was good, but could use a couple more healthy options. My main complaint was the mosquitoes in the room. Windows were left open by housekeeping and at night I was eaten alive by mosquitos. After bringing to the front desk's attention after a couple days, they informed me about the plug in mosquito killer, It would have been nice to know this on the first day or have it mentioned somewhere in the welcome letter. I never opened the windows and didn't realize the bites were from mosquitos until I heard them buzzing in my ear the 2nd night. Even with the plug in, I still was eaten alive.

From the first minutes of our stay, we felt welcomed, and assisted with any wishes we had. I was literally impressed by the attitude of the staff. Those guys really deserve a raise. Keep up the good work!
victoriaoulds (10/5): Perfect place to stay - We had a three-night stay and it was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is about a 15–20 minute walk from Piazza San Marco, which we found very convenient. We were lucky enough to receive a room upgrade and stayed in room 336, which had an incredible rooftop terrace—definitely a highlight of our trip. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, and the reception staff were some of the best we’ve ever encountered. They were always friendly, helpful, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. The only small thing I felt was missing was a coffee machine in the room. I felt a bit guilty ordering room service just for coffee, especially considering the stairs, so having one in the room would have made the stay even better. That said, this is just a minor personal preference. Overall, a fantastic experience and one we’d happily repeat.
Carl (10/5): Great hotel in a nice corner of Dorsoduro and we would absolutely visit Venice again and would 100% stay at this excelle - Excellent staff with great recommendations of where to eat / visit etc. Hotel was clean, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Very willing to recommend local places to go for a drink and the breakfast was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. Loved the lounge for a drink before bed, also. There was nothing not to like. We very much enjoyed the walk into and out of more central areas of Venice, but if you want to be more central this is not the place to stay.

Parfait pour un voyage en amoureux ! - Les chambres et la déco de l'hôtel sont juste magnifiques : on était dans une chambre de l'annexe, mais on reviendra pour essayer une autre de leurs chambres à thème. Le personnel est particulièrement accueillant, pro, et serviable. N’hésitez pas à leur demander conseil pour de bonnes adresses, et éventuellement de réserver une table pour vous si vous n'êtes pas à l'aise en italien. L'hôtel est très bien situé dans un quartier calme, à 50m d'un arrêt de vaporetto, et 100m d'une traversée en gondole vers la place San Marco. Petit-déjeûner de qualité, avec large choix salé et sucré. Conseil pratique : plutôt que manger dans votre chambre, choisissez la salle de petit-déjeûner qui vaut le coup d’œil. Aussi, n'hésitez pas à aller prendre un verre sur la terrasse du toit (il y a aussi une terrasse au dernier étage de l'annexe). Je m'attendais à ce que ce soit bien en réservant : c'était encore mieux ! ;-) tout était nickel !

Fantastic food, on the canal within steps to water taxi. Very quiet and quaint location away from St. Marc square, but transportation to St. Marcs, etc were steps away. Did not know there was a small bar on property until the end of our stay.

The staff were charming and friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were excellent. It's in a quieter part of Venice but very close to the Guggenheim and various water bus stops. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend the hotel to others.

martyncryan60 (10/5): A Wonderful Boutique Hotel in Venice. - Ca Maria Adele is a wonderful, boutique hotel in a fabulous location in Venice. Staff are polite, helpful and informative. They really made every effort to make our stay memorable. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were varied with a wide range of options. The food was very tasty and plentiful. We particularly enjoyed the roof top terrace as a place to relax with a chilled glass of wine. The hotel is in a perfect location for using water buses to travel around the city or to the bus and railway stations. The hotel as also arranged a water taxi for a visit to Murano. A guide provided a very informative experience of the glass making process. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone wishing to enjoy a vacation in the wonderful, historic city of Venice.

John (10/5): An exceptional experience - Being in Venice is special in that there are no roads only waterways, the architecture is exceptional, historical significance of Venice, not to mention being taken to your hotel by water taxi. Ca Maria Adele is a boutique hotel tastefully decorated within an ancient building. The breakfast at Ca Maria Adele is customized for your particular wants as you select what you want for breakfast. If you are going to Venice, Ca Maria Adele enhances the trip and experience. When walking to and from the hotel navigating small streets and alleyways within a system of canals and waterways can be challenging until you develop an understanding of where you are, which is not a criticism of the hotel rather a situation one will experience throughout Venice.

The decorations, style, and overall aesthetics of the place are absolutely on point. The attention to small details is incredible, from the ropes all around that match the boat theme and make you feel like you're on a boat, to the bird-shaped feet under the sofas. Every element, from the subtle details to the more obvious decorations, makes the place feel incredibly stylish, like something straight out of a magazine. The room itself was huge and included a private rooftop with a beautiful view of the surrounding canals as well as the Basilica della Salute. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating with everything. Always smiling, positive, and extremely helpful. They even took us by private boat to Murano Island and gave us a complimentary tour there. The breakfast was wonderful and delicious. The location is perfect, in Dorsoduro, just five minutes from San Marco while still remaining calm and peaceful. The bed, mattress, and sheets were the most comfortable I have ever slept on. I even took note of the brands. There are probably many things I'm forgetting, but the place was simply perfect, a truly perfect boutique hotel where you immediately feel at home.

Catherine (10/5): Exceptional Stay - a palace-like retreat, a perfect location and outstanding service! - The hotel is beautiful and calling it a hotel doesn't do it justice. It felt like our own peaceful and very special palace! The location couldn't be better, just a few metres off the Grand Canal, but so quiet. Right by Salute vaporetto stop so really accessible to all the sights and as well as walking along the Zattere and to many quieter bars and restaurants. Communication was exceptional with immediate and helpful replies to everything I asked. We arrived around 11am and 2 rooms were ready! Drinks on arrival were much appreciated and set the tone for our stay. Delightful rooms, superb breakfasts, lots of terraces and sitting areas all made for a glorious stay. Such personal, charming and efficient service just raised the experience again. Thank you Marco, Fiore, Thomas and all the staff at this beautiful palace. Everything was amazing.

SimonC01 (10/5): The best place to stay for a romantic stay in Venice. - We stayed for a week to explore Venice. This hotel is everything you would expect from a luxury boutique hotel. From our arrival to our departure they made us feel special. With its own private pier it’s a great way to experience what is to come. They were always ready to help be it for a restaurant recommendation for a local favorite or a more sophisticated experience they hit the nail on the head every time. We had a room that looked onto the canal that made you feel great every time you looked out. The location is fantastic for walking or taking to the water borne transport. We particularly enjoyed taking tea at the end of the day’s activities in the delightful lounge, every detail is thought of with care. So a very big thank you to everybody who looked after us so well and we look forward to returning in the not too distant future. Simon and Karen
Eric (8/5): This hotel is a romantic, cozy retreat. We were sad to leave! - Loved the greeting we received by the staff when we arrived - we were escorted into the lounge and served complimentary cocktails of our choosing and some snacks. That was unexpected and a delight! The ability to enjoy breakfast in our room was also a very nice perk. And the quality of the food was great! The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the bed linens were high quality. And the shower was excellent - great water pressure and never ran out of hot water! And the staff was friendly and accommodating. Only remotely negative aspect of the stay was that the room was warm and difficult to get cooled down in order to sleep comfortably.
Federica (10/5): Cozy getaway in Venice - Beautiful hotel in an ideal location close to Basilica della Salute. Room was clean and with all the comforts, we even got upgraded to a room with a very cute terrace facing ‘La Giudecca’. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice. We liked everything :)

The presentation was very good and the food was delicious. There’s water many things to chose from There was nothing that I didn’t like.
Mabelyn (10/5): Sublime - This was our second time staying at this fabulous hotel and it won’t be the last. Located next to Madonna Della Salute, this hidden gem is quiet and refined with a top notch staff. Fiore is a joy. We stayed in the Doge suite this time around and loved every second. Thank you! Room was a bit too warm this time around and we couldn’t figure out how to lower the temperature.

Breakfast was plentiful, varied, and outstanding. The beds are huge (if a little firm), the shower enormous, the private roof terrace a real treat. It is perfectly located in the Dorsoduro, extremely close to everything, but not packed with tourists. Many superb restaurants nearby, particularly La Bauta, less than a ten minute walk away, where we had the best meal of our stay in beautiful surroundings with attentive service from Max. All in all, we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
KurtR1708 (10/5): Perhaps the best hotel in Venice - I have been lucky enough to have been to Venice several times, the Ca' Maria Adele hotel is without question the best hotel I have seen in Venice. From the time we made our booking the hotel's communication was wonderful, even helping coordinate water taxis to and from the airport. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted, introduced to the hotel, and shown to our room. The staff was friendly and helpful with everything we needed from our first interaction until the time we checked out. The entire property was clean and offered all the modern amenities you could want. Our room maintained all the charm of Venice, was spacious, and welcoming. The location is away from the main tourist attractions giving you a taste of what the city is actually like, but you can still easily walk to any of the sites you'd like. We would absolutely stay at the Ca' Maria Adele again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Venice.

MrsO1702 (10/5): Short Break in Venice - We have just returned from a visit to this beautiful boutique hotel. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Without exception all the staff were friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to ensure that our stay was memorable. The complimentary breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice and freshly cooked for us each morning at a time of our choice. The room was sumptuous with a huge comfortable bed. The bathroom had a variety of complimentary samples all of a good size and the free mini bar was refreshed with water and juices daily. The location of the hotel is perfect, in a quiet location with either a walk into the centre or close to the Traghetto gondolas, the Vaporetto stop was a few yards away. We decided to opt for the private water taxi arranged by the hotel and this was a spectacular way to arrive. They also arranged a water taxi back to the airport for us, both trips were efficient and made the whole thing hassle free. Can’t recommend this hotel enough, we will definitely be back.

The location is ideal and away from the many souvenir shops and crowds of San Marco . With its own pier - arrival at the hotel is like something from a James Bond movie. The welcoming staff are exceptional and go over and above every level of service . Everything about this hotel is personal , from the greeting as your water taxi arrives to the staff waving good bye when you leave. The decor is very Venetian and unique , we had the Red Room with its red velvet covered walls - it was typical Venice - done with a flair and taste . A welcome drink of your choice starts the check in process ( again which is relaxed ) followed by being escorted to your room , with your luggage already waiting inside . Breakfast is a la carte and served in a range of locations from your room , the breakfast room or the terrace ( both were amazing ) portion size was ideal and the quality of food was outstanding . Located next to Basilica della Salute and only one stop on the ferry to Sam Marco , it’s the ideal location . Lots of restaurants around - none are touristy . Surrounded by many galleries , boutique shops , private glass blowers and the Peggy Gugenheim Museum, the area is an ideal spot to explore this tiny gem of Venice . Dont hesitate to stay here it’s like a dream .

S7759ASbrentd (10/5): Charming, charming, charming! - For our first visit to Venice, we sought to stay at a small, chic and beautiful hotel, located within walking distance of the city’s main attractions but outside the heavy tourist traffic areas. Researching our options online, Ca Maria Adele looked like the ideal place for us. In reality, it was ideal. Our room, arguably the best in the hotel, included a private rooftop balcony with incredible close-up views of the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute. The hotel decorations and amenities were the definition of chic. And the service provided by Thomas, Fiore, Marco, and the rest of the staff was exceptional - from pre-arrival support to arranging private water transport between the train terminal and the hotel to arranging a private canal tour to restaurant suggestions. Home-basing at the hotel was a highlight of our stay in Venice. Charming, charming, charming!
Shelley (10/5): - We had a fabulous stay at the charming Ca Marie Adele. From the moment we walked into the lobby, we were made to feel at home. While we waited to check in, we were offered a beverage of choice, refreshing towels, and snacks, while seated in a beautiful little lounge area. The staff showed us around our suite and took care to point out small details about the space that we may have otherwise overlooked. The area around the hotel is quiet and residential, but there were plenty of options for excellent food, coffee, and cocktails nearby. I couldn’t have been more impressed or pleased by the location. It’s one of the best features of this quaint hotel tucked away on a quiet canal in an otherwise bustling city. Only a short ferry ride from San Marco, Dorsoduro is a perfect neighborhood for immersing yourself in Venetian culture while escaping the crowds after a long day of sightseeing. If I ever get the opportunity to return to Venice, I would certainly book this hotel again.

X4059VIchrism (10/5): Beautiful Boutique Hotel - What an absolute gem of a hotel, stunning interiors with first class service. We stayed 3 nights here and almost never wanted to leave the hotel. Luxurious decedent interiors with beautiful rooms and public spaces. Many hotels have a take take approach but the Ca Maria Adele was more of a give give approach. Complimentary drinks on arrival and when leaving and also we were able to keep the room until 17.00 for no additional charge which was such a lovey gesture. the location is perfect very central but away from the madding crowds, and a small jetty for gondola's and private transfers to airport. All the staff were so polite and would go above and beyond to ensure your stay was perfect. Thank you Thomas, Fiore, Marco and all The Staff we will be back and shout about you from the rooftops in London.

kelseygA3447VO (2/5): Beautiful Hotel, Terrible Service - Our stay at Ca Maria Adele in Venice was unfortunately very disappointing, and far from the level of service we expected given the hotel’s reputation. Our poor experience began the moment we arrived. The hotel’s dock is small and slick from the rain, and with seven pieces of luggage it was already difficult to manage. To our disbelief, the doorman dropped one of our suitcases directly into the canal. This was not only careless but inexcusable for staff who handle luggage every single day. The bag that was ruined contained the clothes I had carefully set aside for our last night and travel day, so instead of enjoying our final evening in Europe, my fiancé and I spent nearly an hour blow-drying damp clothes, and I ended up wearing a wet dress to dinner. Thomas at reception was excellent—warm, helpful, and professional. He even upgraded our room, though I’m not sure if that was standard practice or an apology for the mishap. Unfortunately, the service went downhill after the shift changed. Another staff member, a man with large black glasses, was consistently rude, condescending, and dismissive. My parents had basic questions about their room—the outdated doorknob and the confusing light switches that shut off every outlet when turned off (a major issue for charging devices and especially for medical equipment like a CPAP machine). Although he eventually came to their room, his tone and attitude were unnecessarily unpleasant. After hearing about their experience, my fiancé and I chose to troubleshoot our own light switch issues rather than deal with him ourselves. The hotel itself is undeniably beautiful, but looks alone don’t make up for poor service, unprofessional handling of guests’ belongings, and staff who seem to view questions as an inconvenience. Venice has many wonderful hotels that combine charm with genuine hospitality. Sadly, Ca Maria Adele is not one of them, and I would not stay here again.
Andrew Eric (10/5): - Beautiful luxury hotel in a quieter neighborhood called Dorsoduro away from the crowds which is not easily achieved in Venice. Walking distance to the main tourist attractions and plenty of nearby restaurants. We appreciated the friendly, helpful staff and the hotel aesthetic which blended classic regal opulence with whimsical elements. From the airport, you can pay extra to reach their private dock by a water taxi (much faster) or take the water bus to the Zattare stop. It’s a short walk from there about 10 min. We’d definitely stay at the Ca Maria again if we return to Venice.
