Aldo Mehmeti (1/5): Struttura bella solo nelle foto! - La residence con i sui dintorni e proprio quella Toscana aristocratica che si cerca, giardini, uliveti e vigneti molto curati. Qui siamo una lista molto lunga ma elenco alcune: - Servizio e qualita cibo ristorante (pessima niente attenzione minima, servizio disattento e non qualificato, mi sono intossicato con un gelato venduto come buontalenti ma era un semplice fior di latte, qundi doppio errore) - Gestione mia intossicazione pessima menefreghismo totale nonostante segnalato a piu persone del personale. - Camera con scale accesso difficile con passeggino con neonato nonostante segnato nella prenotazione. - Amenitis da toillet per il prezzo pagato niente perine o spazzolino denti, da 2 stelle. - Accesso ai giardini , qui e proprio il culmine quasi tutto privato le parti centrali e piu beĺle detta dallo staff sono private e quindi chiuse ai clienti. - Struttura e norme ma piccolissima in servizi e gestione clienti. - Colazione la peggiore che io abbia avuto in mia esperienza, era minima e niente assortimenti, servizio anche qui non quslificato. - Bar , lasciato con un ragazxo che fa sia il barista sia il cameriere, prodotti limitati ma la sorpresa arriva con una mega truffa chiedo una cammomila poiche mi sono intosdicato nel loro ristorante e il giorno dopo non potevo mangiare nulla, chiedo dei biscotti non ne hanno e mi consiglia dei cantucci dal menu ristorante, al pagamento pago 8 euro camomilla e 15 euro un piattino di cantucci che in menu ristorante sono con bicchiere di vin santo, mi hanno fatto pagare 15 euro biscotti per accompagnare il té. - Telefon stanza non funzionante - Acqua stanza fredda artivata calda il secondo giorno
Stephan (10/5): Sehr .... empfehlenswert - ein sehr schönes anhaltendes Erlebnis das Castel bewohnen zu dürfen - Für etwas mehr Geld bekommt man eben etwas mehr geboten. Dennoch eine Unterkunft die man wohl nicht vergessen wird. Wunderschöne sehr gepflegte Anlage, top restaurierte Gebäude mit sehr schöner Osteria. Junges, aufgewecktes sehr freundliches Personal. Ich kann hier nichts bemängeln !

Every single team member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. We took a taxi from Florence to the winery as we didn't want to hire a car and that was easy. Our room (a suite) was the stuff of fairy tales. We ate in the restaurant both nights and we left feeling very happy and full! We also had lunch very massages in the spa tower and lots of fun on a wine tour and tasting. We learned so much! I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil escape.
cannonater (10/5): Can’t duplicate this place… - We still are pinching ourselves from the fact that our travel agent found this hidden gem. Really can’t describe this once in a lifetime experience. The grounds, the history, the walks, the morning mist. All I can say is don’t miss the opportunity to experience this hidden gem. It’s everything and more that you’ve heard about in Tuscany wine country.
Halyna (9/5): Beautiful place for peaceful romantic gateway, but quite pricy - Great location, very peaceful and stunning views, lovely style of the room, very friendly stuff, great vines, I'd come there again, loads of different activities to do and everything is up to high standards. The view is fantastic! And everything exactly like on the pictures. Short on stuff at the bars (by the pool and in the lounge). Majority of times there is no one there. Everything else was amazing! It's more of a suggestion, not a complain - newer AC & gym would make this property even more perfect. I'd stay there forever then. 😄

coracorad (8/5): Quiet and remote - Beautiful scenery. Due to the rural area and the road conditions for walking, I would recommend having transportation. The restaurant menu is very limited and flavor is okay. Be prepared to pay at least 40 euro’s for one way transportation into town. Great place for rest and catching up on work due to quiet environment. Room does not have air during this time but don’t open windows, mosquitoes had a buffet with me. Staff are really sweet and helpful. Overall 8 out of 10. It would have been higher but I was really disappointed with the food and no air. We used for business and pleasure.

Julie (8/5): Rolling hills in Tuscany - Magnificent location, beautiful grounds. We enjoyed walking around the property. Some staff were always ready to help, especially the fellows driving the golf carts. Enjoyed the wine tasting. Really spectacular location. We stayed for 5 nights and the same breakfast was offered every morning (aside from a few rotating pastries). Service was hit or miss. Some restaurant staff were delightful, others looked stressed and disgruntled. Housekeeping was spotty. Some days we got 2 packets of instant coffee and then none for 3 days. At the price point you’d expect a few packets of Nescafé every day. We did the cooking class and didn’t learn anything new but it was enjoyable, though the main course was overcooked fish which half of us didn’t eat. Had hoped for better food for 155 euros per person but maybe they make up for it with the wine.

The kind staff going above and beyond, the BEAUTIFUL room with the amazing view of the vineyards and olive trees, the exceptional breakfast (with the best coffee I had in Italy), the lounge bar and the park, and even the picnic baskets! It’s an incredible place for a romantic getaway, we can’t wait for our next visit!
Molina (10/5): An absolute memorable experience here for just one night but stay longer! - Celebrated a 50th birthday ending with the best- this property is to die for! Its definitely tucked away on the countryside of Tuscany about a 35 minute drive to Florence maybe more with traffic. I highly recommend more then one night stay here. Its gorgeous and the staff were so kind and welcoming. Our stay and experience was top notch. We were welcomed with a gift in our room and the view was incredible. If you are wine enthusiasts, definitely opt for a private wine tasting experience, Sophia was a pleasure and full of incredible information about the wine from Torre. The room was huge and comfortable for our last night in Tuscany. The bath tub is a must use- I mean after all you're on vacay with a stunning view outside your bathroom! Thanks to the incredible staff and grounds- we will be back next time for more nights! Nothing to note- this is a quiet hotel with a beautiful lounge but its so quiet there. Maybe some music would be nice, but not sure if thats against the rules of some sorts LOL-
CillaMolina (10/5): I regret not staying longer.... - From the moment I reviewed this Estate, I knew I wanted to end our trip here - saving the best for last. Celebrating mine and my sisters 50th birthdays, the staff at Torre a Cona was delightful and very kind to make our stay an unforgettable one. From our check in -Thank you Mateo for seeing that we woke up with the best view of Florence country side before heading home. To the help with our luggage making sure it arrived at our room when we arrived. The Private Wine Tasting and cheese pairing with Sophia was excellent, her knowledge of the history of Torre a Cona Estates and wines made the almost two hour experience a fantastic unforgettable tasting. The dinner at Osteria Torre was very delicious and special. Other than that, the only complaint I have is that one day/night is not enough to enjoy the beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. From the moment we booked on Booking.com to the check out, you made our experience a lovely one and will be returning in the future.

Ivica (10/5): Ein Wunderland in der Toskana - Die Lage ist ein Traum. Wir sind uns wie in einem Märchen vorgekommen. Die gesamte Anlage insgesamt der Umgebung sind wunderschön. Jeden morgen wurden wir beim Lüften von einem Vogelgezwitscher begrüsst. Restaurant ist eher teuer, wenn man täglich dort verpflegt summiert es sich.

The views were breathtaking , service was outstanding and the room was lovely! We were surprised with a bottle of red wine in our room to celebrate our Anniversary, such a thoughtful gesture. The property is immense and so well cared for. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and a tasting dinner. We loved the wine tour, and Gabriel was a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable guide. We were fortunate to have been given the opportunity to participate in the grape harvest and it was easily one of the thrills of our European Holiday! Truly a place we will always remember, and hope to return to one day!

In der Lounge wurden wir - obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste waren - nur auf Zuruf bedient. Der Kellner hat lieber Handyfilme geschaut. Beim Frühstück ähnlich, wenn wir Kaffeebestellung etc aufgeben wollten. Ausnahme Caterina am Front Desk war super aufmerksam und hat tolle Tipps für den Besuch in Florenz gegeben.

The restaurant was very good. We did the wine tasting and the vineyard walk with the team at the wine shop - who were well informed and very personable. The pool area and the hotel gardens were lovely. The location of the hotel was stunning with great access to many lovely locations for day trips out. But I would recommend that you arrange car hire so that you are free to come and go as it is not easily accessible by other means of transport. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. The reception team were fantastic as were all the support staff. I can only recommend and say good things about this hotel. A 5 ⭐️ experience.

From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, always making us feel welcome and taken care of. The villa itself is stunning, with beautiful grounds that you’ll want to spend time exploring. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. If you go, definitely make sure to do the Prestige Wine Tour. Gabriel was our guide, and he was fantastic: knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience both fun and informative. Beyond the tour, leave yourself extra time to enjoy everything the estate has to offer. The lounge bar is such a great spot to unwind, and just soaking in the atmosphere of the property is worth it on its own. The Osteria on the property is also outstanding. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully paired with their wines. Dining there really added to the whole experience. This is truly a gem! I highly recommend!

The service was fantastic and the whole hotel smelt incredible! Bar was a little quiet and poolside drinks more expensive than the rest of the property, but aside from that, it was great!

Erg lastig om in Florence te komen, soms 1.15 uur met omleidingen, en erg commerciele opzet van t overigens mooie bedrijf. Prijzig en overal moet je voor bijbetalen. Restaurant klopt niet qua kwaliteit-prijs; lekker maar veel te weinig.

Gabriel delivered the tour and he was amazing, knowledgeable, friendly and patient with all our questions. The estate itself is up in the Tuscan hills and is very impressive featuring a castellated section from the 13th century (I think). Beautiful experience.

Alix (6/5): - I had high expectations for Torre a Cona, but unfortunately found the stay quite underwhelming. From the outside, the property looks like a grand castle hotel, but in reality, only a small section at the back is in use for guests. The pool is very small, which was disappointing given the scale and setting of the estate. In terms of facilities, there’s only one lounge area and a small library room to sit in. This makes the hotel feel quite limited, especially if the weather isn’t good – there’s very little to do indoors, which doesn’t really justify the impression the property gives. The food was another letdown. It’s expensive but very average, which added to the sense that the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations. The lack of facilities and underwhelming dining made the stay feel disappointing.

Höllersberger (9/5): - The location was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed our stay a lot! The pool wasn't crowded at all (we visited in September) and the room / bar / restaurant were very chic & you could see that everything was newly (2021) renovated. The hotel also offers a variety of activities, such as truffle hunting with trained dogs, wine tastings, and more. The only downside is that, due to its remote location, you are quite reliant on the hotel’s own restaurant – which, considering the rather modest portion sizes, is on the pricier side. Other than that, it is truly a dreamlike place that we would happily return to again and again.

This is quite possibly the most beautiful property I’ve ever had the pleasure to visit. The grounds are exceptionally gorgeous. The food is mind-blowingly excellent. The wine superb. The service incredible. We had the best time at our cooking class as we were grouped with 8 strangers who became friends by the end of the evening. The pool is enchanting, the room was huge and impeccably appointed. Wow. Wow. Wow. I will miss my time at Torre A Cona!

Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was lekker en voor ieder wat wils. Voor liefhebbers van culinair eten is het diner op het verblijf zeker aan te raden. Kai-Jürgen (9/5): Entspanntes Toscana Feeling in historischem Ambiente. - Traumhaftes Anwesen in außergewöhnlich schöner Lage. Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen gepaart mit der Möglichkeit auch schnell nach Florenz, Siena oder Arezzo zu kommen. Das Weintasting im Torre a Cona ist ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert. Das Personal wirkt für ein Haus auf diesem Niveau zum Teil etwas wenig engagiert. Das gilt nicht für den Chef der Enothek - ein wirklich sehr guter und extrem gut ausgebildeter Weinkenner; das von ihm durchgeführte Weintasting war wirklich ein Erlebnis. Negativ empfanden wir allerdings das Engagement im Barbereich und zum Teil im Restaurant. Zudem passt im Restaurant das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht.

reesee2014 (8/5): A must if you want to treat yourself and your loved ones to something extraordinary - We went for our honeymoon and stayed for four nights in the superior room. It was a beautifully designed room with a great tub and view to remember of the Tuscan country side. Also, the folx working there were kind, attentive and genuine. It is difficult to share how gorgeous the estate is, and how much care and consideration has been placed into creating a real ambiance of elegance. From the vineyards to the olive trees, the old world exterior and breeze throughout the property…everything felt accessibly opulent. Although, one thing to note is that the superior room is HOT lol they did bring us a fan and offer to change our rooms, but unpacking and then packing is tiring. I am also a disabled person so I try to minimize all my transition times as much as possible. If you do have a physical disability and want to stay here, I suggest that you try. They have golf carts that take you places and are more than happy to accommodate. I will note that it is not wheelchair accessible, which is a loss for those folks using wheelchairs and for the property itself. Something that can be added to make the property wheelchair accessible are: an accessible bathroom ie. roll in shower with grab bars, toilet with grab bars, lower bed, walkways to the pool, restaurant etc. that are paved. I think it would be a dream come true for a lot of people to stay in such a beautiful place, so why not make this dream available to other disabled people as well.
