There were reasonably good places to eat close by. And proximity to Penn Station makes it very easy to get around. The room was excellent, but it could’ve been a bit bigger.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the beautiful view of the Empire State Building - it was truly impressive, especially in the evening. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay. The service was outstanding - the staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Honestly, we didn’t find anything to complain about- everything was excellent.

The beds would get made and then the hand towels and wash clothes would never get replenished. Then they gave us hand towels that looked like wash clothes. Then for most of the stay we saw a makeup pad (used) on the floor in the hallway. Plenty of employees getting off and on the elevator at our floor, but no one picked it up.

False alarm went off at 4am with delay on intercom from staff with additional information. After false alarm was announced via intercom it proceeded to go off again. A large amount of water would leak from the shower , which was an inconvenience. There was not enough towels to suck up all the water leaking out each night after showering.

Das Personal an der Rezeption war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer in einer höheren Etage mit Blick auf das Empire State Building war unübertrefflich.

- David (1/5): Your hotel gave me and my wife the worst night out. - On February 7th, me and my wife wanted a night away from the kids and dogs. We went to a show in Brooklyn and came to check in. Check in was easy with no problems. I get up to the room around 11pm and the room is cold. I mean i was able to see my breath. I paid for a suit and got a nightmare along with it. The suit was 215. Nice room but the room was cold after 3 hours still. I called the front desk once. They said that someone would come up, guess what no one came. I called back finally someone came. The engineer was so great and was truly doing his best to help us out. Nothing worked at all. He came back 3 times still nothing helped. I paid 400 for the suit and laid in my clothes all night and my winter coat. I speak 500 on tickets to the event. This was our valentine date because my wife mother has dementia and we can't leave her. It took mountains to get this date away for my wife. I told the front desk about cold room and all the guy said was he would give me a few snacks from the snack area. He had the dumbest look on his face like a deer in head lights. Do better please Marriott with your hiring. That was very insulting. Your hotel had me and my wife in our clothes with coats on all night. We didnt even get in the bed because the cover was so cold. We ended up leaving at 5am. I wore gloves all night and a jacket. They didnt even offer a different room because they had a cheerleaders all over the hotel. Food was over flowing on the floor. Garbage came was full. I cam truly say that was a nightmare night. I most definitely wouldn't spend a dime here again or tell anybody to stay there. No one knows how much it took to get us to have this night.

- Larissa (9/5): Great staff, location, and hotel. - The staff at this hotel is phenomenal. Gormet tok the time to adjust our bill (due to my mistake). The front desk staff greeted us each time we entered, always asked if we needed anything, and were just super nice! Sliding door to bathroom would be better as an actual door for privacy. I understand space only allows so much.

- dmbdwb (10/5): Excellent staff, location and hotel! - This hotel is in a prime location. It is a 3 minute walk to Peloton Studios if you are planning to take a class! It is a 3 minute walk to Hudson Yards and about a 5 minute walk to Madison Square Garden. From the minute we arrived the staff was polite and eager to assist. Today is the big snow storm and they have staff at the entry doors wiping the water from the floor to prevent slip trip and falls. One of the team members alerted me to use caution outside and had me avoid a slippery spot! There is a large gym that my daughter was able to use today as Peloton canceled all classes today, so she was unable to take her planned classes! We had a beautiful King room with views of the Empire State Building located on the 27th floor! I strongly encourage to chose this hotel for your next stay. I have stayed previously at The New Yorker, the rooms are old, many rooms have no views and their staff is not very accommodating of your needs and requests.

- Joel (8/5): This hotel offers spacious rooms and has great service. I would definitely recommend this for anybody visiting New York - Room size was probably the biggest plus for us as a family of four. We had plenty of space without feeling cramped. The restrooms were also a really great size. Beyond that the service there was great we had an early check-in that was accommodated for us and even though we had a hot water issue the hotel sent somebody to fix it right away. Location wise it was a perfect place and not really too crowded of an area. Can’t really say, I disliked anything enough to write about it.
