- Curt (9/5): Perfect, it was better than I expected for a hostel. - A brilliant hostel with great customer service and the perfect location to explore old town Dubrovnik. The staff were super friendly and helpful with great recommendations and support for our trip. Nothing to dislike other than it is a little hard to find when the streets are busy.
- simran (5/5): Convenient for price - Lovely staff, lovely vibe, kitchen had all facilities, beds were comfortable. The door wasn't exactly great and we could hear people outside our room or even on the ground floor, the entire night/early morning just whenever there was some kind of sound, it was disturbing. Also it was one bathroom between 8 people (4 female 4 male) and although I only had to wait once, I do think it would be better to have more.

- Dee El (8/5): Budget friendly hostel in best location - Hot showers with good water pressure. 3rd floor WC and shower had a small window to vent vapor and smells outside which I liked. Common kitchen, lounge with microwave fridge dishes on ground floor. My small twin room had a wardrobe, half mirror, lamp, table, stool, locker (bring own locks), blanket, fan, AC, 4-6 sockets in my room. During the day , Michael at the desk was friendly welcoming and helped with directions or recommendations when asked. Towels and linen were provided. Location was the best. Could leave luggage at reception after checkout and use the WC or shower on ground floor if needed after check out. One shared bathroom /WC per floor which might be ok to share between 2 rooms (but there are 2-4 rooms on each floor so in peak season this will be an issue especially since the lower floors dorms had one tiny shower /WC combined - if one out of 10 people on that floor is on the toilet, the showers are not available or vice versa). The shower /WC on 1st and 2nd floor were centrally located near the stairs with no external airing vents. Very tiny showers. Creaky floorboards on 3rd floor. The private rooms are only in higher floors I was on 3rd floor (no elevator). When I booked 3 months prior, the hostel confirmed they would be open till 11pm as my flight would land late and I planned to catch the Platanus shuttle - but on the day I was told I was wrongly informed previously and that reception now closed at 10pm and it was too late for me to cancel or look elsewhere which would cost time and money , penalty, last minute price etc. When I arrived my key was taped to the front desk and front doors always unlocked which doesn't feel safe. No shampoo or bath gel provided, only hand soap dispenser was wall mounted.

The rooms okay, but could use a bit more attention to detail.The washroom was not great I don't think that someone is checking for hygiene everyday. A broken curtain was on the floor in the shower area, also the receptionist (Michael )asked me to bring my own lock for my room locker that makes no sense. I would say very unprofessional.. I would say only the location because it's in downtown 🤷🏼

The kitchen was a nice amenity, as were the free cornflakes. Mike at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The walls were quite thin, so I could hear the person snoring in the room next door.

- Charlotte (7/5): Good location but beds could be better - The location was great, directly within the old town just metres from the main gate and no stairs to go up!# Nice shared accomodation in an old building. The communal area of the kitchen and living area was small but perfect for needs and not busy. The kitchen offered basics which was appreciated like condiments, coffee and tea and even some cereals. The bedrooms (4 bed female) was decent size with plenty of room and lockers for your things and for everyone to not get on top of each other. Sink in bedroom but no hot water there. Light and heating comfortable. The bunk beds are thin metal and flimsy so I could feel every moment when the other person moved in their bed and the ladders are uncomfortable. There is one shared bathroom outside the room and is the same room as the toilet so you need to wait for the loo if someone is in the shower. Cleaning hours from 11am but someone came in to clean the bedroom sink when I was in bed much earlier than that at 915am and also the shared bathroom which doesn't make sense at that time when people are getting ready in the morning. Staff nice enough but rarely anyone around to ask for something or at reception.

- stefania (8/5): Ottima scelta per stare in centro ad un prezzo ragionevole (per la città) - Il punto di forza è la posizione strategica ad un prezzo ragionevole in confronto agli altri pezzi del centro storico. Per un posto letto in un ostello non è economico ma è allineato ai prezzi della città. Staff cordiale, buona la pulizia. In generale è comodo, ci tornerei I bagni. Sarebbero da ristrutturare per renderli più moderni. Non c'è spazio per cambiarsi. Inoltre ci sono solo 3 bagni in tutto l'ostello, uno per piano. Ho dovuto spesso cambiare piano per trovare un bagno libero. Per la struttura del palazzo non credo sia possibile aggiungerne (se non sacrificando una stanza), ma lo segnalo
