- DEREK (6/5): Not happy - Close to beach Was given worst room in hotel - ground floor on the side no view - useless tiny balcony above entrance to the garage - each time cars entered the garage I could here the door open and close - as it was so close to the road I Couldn’t open my curtains or inner curtains because of a lack of privacy - I asked but was told there was no other available room - I also asked to extend my stay in another room due the the no fly through Dubai but was told no more rooms so had to move into Sydney for 4 days - not happy at all - even asking staff to book me a taxi took 40 minutes to arrive - the Sebel should not be selling this room 115 at the same cost as the upper rooms with views and large balconies!!!

- Sonja (5/5): As above - The room, location and facilities were good The whole stay was let down by my checkout experience. I was not leaving for the airport until 3.30pm so asked for a late checkout. I was told this was not possible and staff were unable to offer me any alternative in order to take a shower and get ready for my very long journey home to the UK. It was a very hot day and I was reduced to having to shower by the pool and use the toilet facilities to change. These were very hot and dark, so impossible to dry hair or see in a mirror to be able to make up. This experience overshadowed all the good things about the stay.

For the price I would have expected water views and being in the peppers building but that not so much a negative more a point for future bookings to request beach front. And having no breakfast as an option something that will hopefully be fixed once little Pearl reopens to a new eatery.

Love the sparkling/still water refill station too. Definitely stay again. It’s not the cheapest stay but it is the best location, I understand parking is a premium in Manly but would be great if it was included in room cost.

- Shereen (10/5): Lovely place to stay in Manly - I had a very enjoyable stay at the Sebel. My room was very large and spacious, and beautifully decorated. I didn't have a sea view, but my view of the pool was pleasant, and quieter than being at the front. Staff were friendly and welcoming: I arrived early in the morning because of flight times, and they had my room ready by 11am. The location is brilliant, right on the sea front at Manly, close to all the restaurants and amenities, and a five-minute walk to the wharf where you can get the ferry into central Sydney. The adjacent restaurant has closed so there's no on-site meal options, but it wasn't a problem for me as there is plenty of choice nearby.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Disappointing! - A very disappointing stay. We required twin single beds. We emailed the request and also followed up with a phone call and was assured there was no problem, it was confirmed and we would have a twin single bed configuration. We checked in to be confronted with a double bed and a very dilapidated sofa bed with a mattress so thin you could feel something poking in your back. It was sunken in the middle and clearly past its ‘used by’ date. This flung together arrangement was made up with a very thin blanket. It’s winter! We discovered a previous guest’s pubic hairs around the toilet seat, clearly the bathroom had not been cleaned properly. Overall the room was not particularly clean. It felt like a hostel. We expected at least a clean room for $400! Very disappointing for an Accor hotel! We did mention the experience upon checkout but with a front desk managed by what appeared to be backpackers and students are not hopeful of any improvement.

Staff were amazing and location was the best. The breakfast was delicious as well. Definitely a hidden treasure. We will be back for sure.
- Sarah (10/5): - The staff at this property were super lovely. Professional and friendly. I was visiting for a family funeral and they showed so much compassion. It was a really lovely touch - a card, ice cream and chocolate was delivered to our room soon after arriving. A very kind and thoughtful action. Even on check out the other staff member on shift was equally lovely and professional. Although property is in Manly it is close enough to the Corso to walk but not in the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend!
- L3476CDsarahw (4/5): Not so great - Apart of a nice room very unprofessional staff at reception, could not even speak proper English and provide with reasonable customer service because of lack of knowledge and experience.. staff at reception were pretty disappointing and so the service was very poor. The cleanliness was ok, but the front area hasn't given information or provided with any quality guest service.

Check in is at Peppers and the Hotel is behind and in a laneway Parking area was a nightmare - car parks are so tiny and difficult to get into I did not think it was value for money Looks old and tired. Would not stay there again or recommend

- John (10/5): - The staff were brilliant - friendly, warm, helpful. The location by the lifesaving club is great with easy walk to all Manly offers! Snorkelling in the area towards Shelly beach was a pleasant surprise - hadn’t expected such a variety and volume of fish
- Adam (8/5): - I believe the parking is a bit harsh as you pay $40 a night to garage your car but if you go out at night there might not be a park available and you have to park in the street even thou you have been charged $40

- 515jennin (10/5): Great Location - Our 2nd stay here. Right across the road from Manly Beach. Clean and tidy room. We had ocean views this time which was wonderful. Set back from the main street so not noisy at all. Close to shops and restaurants and public transport. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. 2 Pools to chose from and laundry facilities. Recommend.
