• Basak (7/5): Great location but if you value shower/water pressure might not be best for you. - The location is super convenient. Walking distance to everywhere you want to visit. We never needed bus. Acropolis within 20-30min, main central places 5-10min. Water pressure of the shower. It is a shame not to have water pressure in the shower and compromise hot water to increase pressure.. especially when you are traveling. The building is old and entrance not obvious. But for the short stay it was fine. The place was mostly clean but we had a few little red ants on the bed.

Nous avions un vol le soir, nous avons donc laissé nos affaires à 200 m de la station monastiráki, c'était parfait safestay athens hostels:agias theklas Si tout était prévu , un ou 2 torchons auraient été appréciés, Et la pression de la douche mais ça je ne suis pas sûre que l'on puisse l'améliorer.
• Bas (8/5): Mooi appartement op een top locatie - De locatie was top! Wij kwamen aan toen de winkels dicht waren. dan zie je alleen maar rolluiken in de straat met graffeti. Sommige appartementen staan leeg. Maar dat is een normaal beeld in Athene binnenstad. Als je daar doorheen kijkt dan is de locatie top omdat je op het einde van het centrum zit. En is het een enorme verrassing als je het mooie appartement binnenkomt met een ruim balkon. Restaurant tip: rechts de zijstraat in bij de lampjes. Echt locaal grieks eten :) De slaapbank is hard. Maar dat is het enige eigenlijk.

Meteen midden in de stad met kleine winkeltjes en de vis en vleesmarkt om de hoek, Het appartement lekker schoon en ziet er goed en nieuw uit en heerlijke bedden. Balkon met uitzicht. We waren met onze dochters van 26 en 27 en hadden genoeg privacy. Prima verblijf gehad op een hele leuke plek! De keuken was wat matig uitgerust. De lift en de entree zijn shabby maar er wordt gebouwd dus schept perpectief.

• Charlotte (8/5): Good location and very clean, but communication could have been better or a welcome pack provided - The location was good, the place was clean, and fairly well stocked. They did provide a storage place for luggage in our last day. Communication was poor and slow before arrival, details of what lockbox to use was not clear (there are many outside the front door), and the code to get in the apartment door was wrong. They remedied it, but was stressful at the start of the trip. I asked for suggestions of possible trips, restaurants etc and was provided with very little information. Essential items such as a t-towel for the kitchen to wipe up plates etc was missing, there is no welcome pack to explain how to work the oven and hob, air con machine, tv etc. or the safe and I asked for help which I did not receive nor was there communication on what to do with the keys on departure or even some information on the local area and suggestions of tours, map etc. I was told they own the apartment above and whoever was in there was doing some kind of building works in the early hours of the morning keeping us awake. The apartment is on the 7th floor and the howling noise from the wind is deafening in the bedroom backing on to the balcony area.

• Zuzanna (1/5): Scam - I was misled and scammed by the apartment owner. Upon arrival, we were directed to a flat that was already occupied by other guests – their luggage and personal belongings were inside. We had to leave immediately and find another place to stay, paying extra costs out of pocket. The owner never informed us that we were sent to the wrong apartment. Only after I reported the issue to Booking did she start claiming that we “entered the apartment ourselves,” which is completely untrue. Despite Booking’s attempts to mediate, she refused to refund our money. The entire situation was stressful and highly unprofessional. I strongly advise against booking this property. For your own safety and peace of mind — please avoid this place. Photos attached as a warning to other travelers.
• W.P. (9/5): - De ligging was heel centraal en overal vlakbij. Het gebouw waar het appartement in zat en de lift was voor ons even wennen.
• Graham (10/5): A comfortable and clean base for my trip to Athens - The balcony was huge with a big table and chairs. The apartment was generously sized and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the towels soft. It is just a short stroll to Monastiraki and the tourist attractions there. There is a supermarket around the corner. I would stay here again, without a doubt.

De hal, trapopgang en lift doen anders vermoeden maar het appartement is echt meer dan prima, netjes schoon en een heel groot balkon. Zodra je deur uitgaat sta je meteen midden in het Athense dagelijkse leven. Alles is op loopafstand. Appartement is zeer makkelijk te bereiken vanaf de luchthaven metrolijn 3 nemen en uitstappen bij Monastirakiplein dan is t nog 5 minuten lopen. De info van de vehuurder via app voor aankomst en vertrek is perfect.

• Irina (10/5): Super Apartment! - Das Apartment hat eine sehr gute Lage, es ist möglich viel zu Fuß zu erkunden. Viele Geschäfte und Restaurants nebenan. Das Apartment liegt neben dem Zentral Basar. Es gibt einen Aufzug und eine schöne große Terrasse. Empfehle ich gerne weiter. Wenn wir wieder in Athen sind: Wieder hin.

• Ofra (2/5): Horrible place and horrible owners! Don’t stay there! - It’s a bad area! Full of homeless and dragged people, We felt very unsafe. The owner is not trustable ! She promised us multiple times to return our money because we left 2 days earlier, and, never returned our money No hot water on the showers! I would strongly recommend not to deal with those owners !!! There was an homeless sleeping right next to the mail door of the building , There is no hot water And , the owner is untreatable ! She lied and lied and lied !

• Sue (10/5): Great roof top apartment :) - Don't be deceived by the entrance or the location. Once you get to the top floor, this apartment was fabulous. After a giant stuff up by another hotel in the same area, this was a last-minute booking and did not disappoint. So much so, I wish we had booked this apartment for our entire stay. It was exceptional. Despite having a king bed setup for two single ladies, we were able to adapt the sleeping arrangements to suit. The huge living area, self-contained kitchen and huge roof top balcony were fantastic. The bathroom (and shower) amazing. Beds/pillows perfect. Breakfast not included - we bought our own. Property owners were easy to deal with, access instructions and ongoing messaging through WhatsApp was timely and helpful. Can highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate staying there again if staying in the Monastiraki area. Nothing
• Ron (9/5): clean, comfortable, well-located, and the communication with the host was ok - The day before our trip, I received a very organized WhatsApp message with all the details about the apartment – how to get in, what to expect, and what to do. We arrived late at night and were able to check in smoothly and quickly, all thanks to that helpful message. We stayed for five nights. The apartment was very comfortable, and on one of the days, cleaning staff came to tidy up the place. A few small things could be improved to make the experience perfect: The oven tray and some of the pots were not clean. The shower water pressure was quite weak. There were not enough coffee capsules, and none were added during cleaning. There were also no tea bags provided. Regarding the building and area: There are two small, old elevators – we had two strollers, so it was a bit inconvenient. On one of the days, there was a homeless person sitting outside the building. He wasn’t threatening in any way, but it was a bit uncomfortable since we were with young children. Other than that, the location is excellent – just a few minutes’ walk from all the main attractions.

Literaly was a very cold house. The bathroom was too cold you couldnt stand in there, we were so unconfortable wearing blankets to sit and be around in the house. And the remote controls of the aircondition the next day run out of battery! And suddenly in the night the electricity shut down and for an hour more or less we didnt have power and we completly freeze. The price was at the end too high for this kind of facilities. Just do something with the heat in this house!

• Ghyselinck (10/5): Great location, very spacious and modern apartment. - Excellent location near metro station Monastiraki and the square. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Nice view from the 7th floor. Breakfast was available in the nearby Twenty One restaurant. Very friendly host who also arranged our taxi from and to the airport.

What you did is a big mistake. I could not enter the facility, I was not allowed to enter. The location of the facility was not safe. I did not use the facility. The facility cancelled my stay. Booking com did not refund my fee even though I did not stay. My stay did not turn out well. Please give me my money back.
• Jessica (9/5): The concierge was wonderful and very helpful. They even arranged a large enough fan to get us to the airport with all of - I absolutely loved the apartment. It was clean nicely, decorated, and very, very comfortable. Perfect for a family. I really didn’t like the street. The building entrance was rundown. The front entrance to the apartment is well-maintained though.

• John (9/5): Very comfortable and nice, walking distance to all the wonderful things in central Athens - The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean and comfortable. We parked at public parking garage just around the corner. Walking into the building we were a little weary because the street looked a little rough. The apartment however was beautiful, and you only needed to turn the corner to find a better, more clean street. I asked for extra pillows and wasn’t given any. I have positional sleep apnea and I ended up having an episode in my sleep that night and had to take my husbands pillow and he slept without one.

• Bradbury (6/5): Apartment was fine, service and communication very poor - We planned to stay twice at this accomodation over 2 week, both booked over 9months prior. We were notified 5 days prior to our first visit that they had over booked and we could no longer stay there & then on the second visit we turned up after travelling for 8 hrs and the keys were not in the lock box so had to wait around until delivered. So whilst the apartment was fine, the people managing the property were extremely poor

I appreciated that when I raised the security and access issues I encountered, the owner responded quickly and seemed sincere in wanting to make things right. Their responsiveness is commendable. There were multiple concerning security and access failures that put a damper on my experience. Firstly, the advertised in-room safe was nowhere to be found, which is unacceptable for a business traveler like myself who needs to secure valuables. Even more distressing was becoming trapped inside the building without key. Being locked inside with no way out was an extremely stressful situation and a potential safety hazard. While I appreciate the owner's quick response, the lack of a room safe and getting locked inside are serious issues that should not occur.

• Bruce (10/5): Fabulous apartment and perfect location - The location is perfect for exploring Athens. It's an easy walk to the main square and the apartment is next to the central market - perfect for exploring the market streets, wonderful food, family owned tavernas and coffee houses. We enjoyed being out of the tourist hussle and more in the 'market/food' triangle. The little balcony was perfect for morning breakfast and coffees and relaxing. We enjoyed the uninterrupted view we had of Mount Lycabettus. The apartment is very comfortable and the kitchen is a good size.

• Michael (9/5): A great place to stay in Athens - Well equipped but could do with a microwave and more tea towels. The antiquated lift broke down and the apartment is on the 7th floor. A lot of stairs and some in darkness! However, when reported to the owners they got an engineer on site quickly. They also kindly gave us a free breakfast the next day. A mirror in the main bedroom would be helpful

• Szache (9/5): Totally as we expected - Modern, well equiped apartment, with big beds and TVs in every room, with aircon unit also. A bit too soft the beds. For my point of view no problem, but the weekends parties were loud in the area.

• Clare (8/5): Great apartment, helpful staff. - Spacious, comfortable and clean. Great location for getting to all the sights. We walked everywhere. Staff were AMAZING, so helpful with booking taxis, had a room ready early for us and were able to accommodate having my mum in the apartment next door. We never met them but quick and helpful over Whats App. We enjoyed the balcony for evening meals. The entrance does not match the interior! It was a little daunting arriving to all the shutters down and graffiti. Have faith though, the apartment if safe and secure. This is just the area we came to realise. Locals were friendly enough though.

• Sofia (9/5): Superb - Location is ideal, as it’s walking distance from Monastiraki square and all central attractions. The apartment is newly renovated and it was very clean.
• Marcie (10/5): Large two bedroom apartment, great location. - It was large, quite spread out floorplan with nice furnishings, air conditioning in all rooms and a balcony. Helpful staff organising a taxi for our 2am flight and being able to check in. It does look like it could be dodgy from the outside but it’s absolutely amazing inside.

• Monique (10/5): Awesome stay in Athens. - The location appeared very dodgy when we arrived at 7pm - I thought I'd blown it in terms of location - there was a lot of graffiti around and roller doors over windows of shops. We enter a rickety lift and my children and husband were looking at me very concerned. But the apartment was absolutely immaculate and they couldn't rave about it enough. We ventured outside only to discover we were on the edge of a very busy, very cool street and square right at the foot of the acropolis. It didn't get any better. Entry to the apartment. Everything else was brilliant. Don't be put off at all.
