The place always felt lively and full of energy, with a great atmosphere throughout the day. The restaurant/bar area was very pleasant, and the bakery was excellent — we especially enjoyed grabbing coffee from the bar together with fresh pastries and sandwiches from the bakery. The location is also great, in the Shinjuku area and right next to Shinjuku Chuo Park, with a nearby train station and another very good breakfast spot close by. The hotel staff was extremely helpful during our stay. They assisted us with forwarding our luggage to Kyoto and were always happy to help with any question or request. Areas that could be improved are the English level of some staff members, although they genuinely do their best to assist and communicate. In addition, the rooms are not cleaned daily (aside from towel replacement), which was a bit inconvenient for me during the stay.

Though this may be because the hotel was quite booked out this time then last time but absolutely love this property and location

- Alan (8/5): Quiet, clean, handy to Shinjuku station, the Knot is ideal if you don’t mind a slightly smaller room. - This was our second time staying at the Knot - it’s in a quiet area of town about a 10-15 minute walk to Shinjuku station. It has a really nice restaurant and bakery on the premises, staff are all super-helpful, there’s a coin laundry on-site and a Family Mart just down the road. Everything is really clean and the place seems very popular with western tourists. Not really a complaint but be aware the rooms are quite small (usual for Tokyo) and there’s not much space to keep large items of luggage.

Mało ich, niedopieraja i bardzo wolno susza. Od wschodu słońca w naszym pokoju halas utrudniający sen, źródłem były chyba jakieś elementy okien albo dachu nagrzewajace sie. Bez zatyczek nie do spania.
- Zara (4/5): - Walls are paper thin- you can hear EVERYTHING in the rooms around you. Beds aren't super comfortable. Only one lumpy pillow each. It's a long walk to the station. Lights flickered in the room when you dimmed them. Towels were really bad quality.

- Paige (8/5): - Returned for 2nd stay because we like the location and breakfast, buffet is a great selection and an ideal Base for exploring greater Tokyo The bed is uncomfortable and the cleaning a little inconsistent- the room wasnt cleaned thoroughly until our 3rd day and we checked out on the 5th so we only had one 'clean' day- this is the policy for "longer" stays. Since the rooms are so small, the clutter from shopping, plastic from food etc, builds up very quickly if not cleaned. We also missed clean mugs for our coffee

- JB (9/5): Great location and very friendly vibe. - The location close to Shinjuku station is fabulous. This is the second time we've stayed here and given our late arrival time we did Uber from the station but the walk is very nice and not too far. The breakfast from the bakery at the sheared table in the lobby is great. Rooms size is ok for Tokyo and for short stays.

Room was very tight with the 4 beds- hard to navigate getting in and out of , We were on first level and found the room noisy from the hallway as well as from room above.

- Vessela (8/5): Second Saty at the Knot - Second stay at THE KNOT TOKYO Shinjuku — we came back because of the excellent location. We loved being right across from the park, which made it a peaceful and convenient area to explore. The hotel offers great breakfast and dinner options. You can choose the buffet or skip it and enjoy the bakery instead, which has many delicious options including pastries and sandwiches. The lobby is always lively, and the restaurant is very popular and quite busy at night, which adds to the vibrant atmosphere. During our second stay, we were given a room overlooking the side area. Although the price was almost double compared to our first stay, we found the room less pleasant overall, and there was a noticeable smell coming from the restaurants below. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel for its location, atmosphere, and food options, but room location can make a big difference in the overall experience. Some unpleasant smell coming from the restaurant kitchen below.

- Matthew (7/5): - Very nice hotel in a quiet area. The room for 3 was a bit tight but it got the job done. The location is a bit removed from the action but an easy 10 minute walk or a quick metro ride puts you right in the middle of everything. Really reasonably priced too.

A park right across the street, a starbucks and a small grocery store near by and also a subway station I selected a 17 square meter room as suggested by the hotel for 2 people, my husband and I but we were given a smaller room. We could not get around the bed. Only one tiny nightstand, only one chair. The bathroom was like a motor vehicle bathroom and the fan didn’t work. Fortunately the room had a window that opened. The entrance of the hotel was always filthy.

- diane (10/5): Very chic comfortable hotel. The staff speaking English was a real plus - We loved the hotel. On our first night, we enjoyed cocktails and fish and chips outside, and both were delicious. The second-floor lounge was especially comfortable and made for a great place to relax. We also had dinner there on our last night, which was very good. Another highlight was the coffee provided in the room. The only downside was that the room felt a bit small for three women, with no drawer or closet space. We ended up living out of our suitcases!
