Guest Reviews
- Robert (10/5): - Room was clean and the staff was super kind and helpful.
- Sajida (10/5): - Beautiful and clean hotel. Lovely and hospital staff and most importantly, convenient location. Was a short walk from palais de congres, arc de triomphe, champs elysees.
- Ben (10/5): - Clean, nicely decorated, friendly staff, nice breakfast - exactly what our family of three wanted!
- Vernell (8/5): - The hotel was very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. A warm breakfast is served in the morning for a fee. However, there are some restaurants within walking distance that are good and not too pricey. I would stay there again.
- Roza (6/5): - The elevator was small and didn’t work 99percent of the time
- Kelsi (8/5): - This hotel is ideal because it is near the metro and the iconic Arc de Triumph. While the rooms are small, this is expected for European rooms. There is AC but in the peak of summer you may need a handheld fan for additional comfort.
- Amanda (8/5): - Loved the spacious room and Rituals toiletries. Check in was quick and easy. Very clean and a great budget option for staying in Paris
- FEI (8/5): - We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is conveniently located close to a metro station and a convention center where a large supermarket is located. The hotel is very clean and the staff was very friendly. The 24/7 coffee/water in the lobby is a big plus. The breakfast was decent especially the Nepresso coffee. There are a number of issues that need to be addressed t improve guest experience: (i) The switches of the night lights on the wall are all controlled by the master switch that also controls the ceiling light. You cannot turn on night lights without switching on the ceiling light as well. The night lights are basically useless. Something is wrong electrically. (ii) The table in the room is too small and there is no lamp or a light near the table that can be used. (iii) the ceiling lights in the washroom and the "bar" area were all broken. These issues should have been picked up by the staff when cleaning the room daily.
- Blair (10/5): - This is an excellent boutique hotel in the 17th arrondisement of Paris. The staff was lovely and very helpful. Room was comfortable, but even in the evenings, the summer humidity can make it difficult to sleep well, even with the AC on. The neighborhood is wonderful, super walkable with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.
- Camilo (10/5): - Excellent
- Salomé (10/5): - The staff was incredible and helpful! The view out of the wind from the sixth floor was just incredible. The showers are tiny but that is the parisian charm.
- Murray (10/5): - This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel, and it was another great experience. Clean, quiet, comfortable and a ten minute walk to the Arc di Triomphe past several Patisseries!
- Marcia (10/5): - Great boutique hotel in an area accessible to all sights.
The ONE suggestion: getting out of the tub needs to have some grab bars and one could easily slip when stepping out. The glass barrier moves so one can't even hold onto that
- Abigail (10/5): - A wonderful stay! And a perfect hotel location wise and so clean and comfortable
- Els (10/5): - Fantastic breakfast . Convenient location and very friendly staff!
- Clint (10/5): - Staff were very helpful and pleasant
- Yuki (10/5): - Hotel is always clean and tidy so I chose this hotel in Paris.
- Courtney (10/5): - The perfect stay!
- Brady (8/5): - Good stay overall. Great area for price.
- Janice (10/5): - Excellent value
- Carlos (10/5): - My family and I had an amazing stay in Paris and we chose Le 46 Hotel given how close it is to many of the places that we wanted to visit. The staff was great. We’ll definitely be staying here again!!!
- Dominic (10/5): Best trip to Paris… ever!! - The online description does not do this lovely hotel justice! The location is absolutely fantastic, the staff were warm and friendly, and the room was very nice.
We stayed here for NYE and walked to the Arch d’Triomphe. Absolutely BEST NYE ever!
- Keon (10/5): - The staff is very cooperative and kind when handling your special orders.
- Ana (10/5): Wonderful place to stay in Paris. - We had an amazing time at the hotel.
The room was very clean and comfortable it exceeded our expectations with all the amenities that we needed.
The staff was very professional and caring.
The location of the hotel was at a walking distance from the metro. The area was very quiet at night and we felt very safe to walk about even at night.
At the back of the restaurant there an Italian restaurant called Il Grano with delicious Italian food.
We would definitely go back to this hotel and strongly recommend it to everyone wanting to visit Paris.
- RODRIGO (10/5): - Great people, great location, very attentive.
- Mikayla (10/5): - Loved the hotel
- mauricio (10/5): - nice place. nice staff. near of many things.
- marke (10/5): - Very clean and a nice place. Recommend to anyone
- judith (10/5): - Hotel was nice as were the staff. Perfect location walkable to everything.
- Josie (8/5): - FIRST TIME IN PARIS, AS ALL REVIEW SAID HOTEL ROOMS ARE VERY SMALL , HOTEL IS CLEAN. BUT THE ONLY THING I DID NOT LIKE ABOUT THE HOTEL WAS ONE OF THE STAFF IN THE MORNING WAS VERY RUDE AT THE BREAKFAST TIIME WAS GIVING ATTITUDE FOR NO REASON BUT THE BREAKFAST IS AMAZING, HOTEL IS VERY CLOSE TO THE ARC OF TRIUMPH.
- DIANA MARIA (10/5): I would stay again - Hotel stay on overall was excellent. Great location. Small lift but doable. Great breakfast selection but it could be refilled more often.
- Hossein (8/5): - Wonderful location, great surroundings, and nice staff.
- Veronique (6/5): - Good location but noisy. Room smell like cigarette even if not smoker hotel
- Torrice (10/5): - Nice, clean hotel. Tiny lift (elevator). Not for the claustrophobic. The breakfast is just ok, nothing special.
- Seok-Goo (10/5): - If I will visit Paris, I like to stay again.
- Courtney (10/5): - Lovely stay! I was able to walk to most important attractions. I had a standard room and it was spacious, had slippers, a toddler bed, and a nice bathroom. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Paris but this one is my new favorite because it’s a good value for what you get!
- Elvis (10/5): Nice stay - Nice stay, clean room and sheets.
Good breakfast
- Mohammed (10/5): - Very friendly staff, very clean, very close to bus station and metro, grocery store close by, breakfast could maybe have a few more options and pipes made a noise when using shower, otherwise amazing place to stay, would definitely use again if visiting Paris
- Roselyn (10/5): Excellent - It was comfortable but the water in the shower is all over the floor. Seems like I can get some sort of skin disease. Other than that is very comfortable and staffs were so accommodating.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay - Very clean, quiet, and well maintained in a great location less than a 10 minute walk to the Arc du Triomphe and several metro lines. Our room was quite large for Paris standards and the staff was extremely helpful. I highly recommend.
- Steve (10/5): Great quaint place to stay - Nice small hotel with friendly staff and a very quaint feeling. Extremely tiny and slow elevator means you probably will be walking up. We were on the 6th floor so that was a bit of a pain.
- Monica (6/5): Very basic accommodations - Other than the fact that it's very well situated by the Porte Maillot bus station, I would not recommend it to others. Yes, it's basic, the closet doors were not closing at all (one was damaged), and it looked old in general. Yes, I do realize I am talking about Paris, but you can find more updated places if you wish. In any case, good "transit" room for one night.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The location was its best feature. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
- Mazy (8/5): - Overall, quite clean and spacious. Lots of windows and a lovely view. Beds were comfortable as well.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The elevator should are very tiny if you have many luggage’s or wth
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, well presented, friendly and we'll located little hotel. It's the little things, I.e. they had better loo paper than I have at home!!
- LouiseRafael (10/5): - It was a wonderful experience, beautiful people as staff and close to the Palais de Congres. Great restaurants at walking distance and just around the corner of the Metro and the Champs d'Elysees. Thank you, Merci et au revoir!!
- Nicki (8/5): Great Find Great Value - A good location.
Clean and comfortable with a good size ensuite
Smart hotel outside and inside
- Peter (8/5): Good location - Great location close to Arc de Triumphe. Small rooms but has everything you need. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Will stay again on my next trip to Paris
- Masichevici (10/5): Amazing - clean and spacious room.
- Jonathon (8/5): Paris weekend getaway - Great location near the Argentine metro. Staff were wonderful (beyond belief helpful) area was reasonably quiet and the much needed air conditioning was immense. No tea/coffee facilities in the room which was a little annoying but that was the only downside.
- Verified traveler (10/5): happy kids/happy family - Stayed here for a couple of nights with family. Staff was very nice and friendly, and the room was spacious by Paris standards. The area was great for us, close to jardins d'acclimatation for kids (very nice fair grounds), bois de Boulogne for runners, bakery, carrefour city, bar around the corner etc.. It's not as vibrant as some other areas, nor is it in the midst of tourist attractions, but the quality/price ratio worked great for our family.
I only wished they'd let you get an espresso and croissant for breakfast, instead of having to purchase the buffet.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great find! - Lovely little hotel, room was small but modern, sunny and clean. Close to a number of neighbourhood cafes and restaurants. Area is reasonably residential but close to Arc de Triomphe, Metro stations and Palais de Congres (where we went to a show). We were very pleased with the value and experience, would absolutely stay again next time we are in Paris.
- Barbara (10/5): Great location, quite and comfortable - Great hotel within minutes walk to Arc de Triomphe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room very clean. Bed very comfortable and the room had a large shower for two! French hotel rooms are usually small but this was much bigger than expected with a sofa. Would have like an iron, iron-board and coffee maker in the room but small details not worth sweating over after having such a brilliant weekend.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The location was pretty good. Smaller hotel with super small elevator. Overall, was ok for the price.
- Irena (8/5): Nice hotel in walking distance of many attractions - It was a very quaint small hotel that was close to many restaurants and was within walking distance of many attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
- A (8/5): - Pleasant stay, very close to railway stations
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel is well located close to the city center. Rooms are renovated and clean. The hotel staff was nice amd helpful. I had a very nice stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location close to trains, Arc, Eiffel Tower & the Siene. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Staff billingual & great help w/planning & directions.
- Sarah (8/5): Wonderful hotel, large room, safe area - We were very pleased with the hotel! The rooms were large for European standards and just right for an American family of 4 with young children. There was a flat screen tv, a beautiful balcony with fresh flowers, and two comfortable beds. Check in and check out was a breeze with very friendly people at the desk. The only problems we had were: no safe in the room. That's unfortunate, especially when traveling abroad and having important documents. The shower was very shallow and water wasn't draining quickly so it fills up and makes a mess. Worst of all, the tiny lift (elevator) got caught between floors which had us momentarily freaking out. We pressed the call button, talked to someone (elevator company?) who said-what's the address? Ok, we'll connect you to reception. Unfortunately it just rang and rang and reception didn't answer. Fortunately, the elevator moved back to a floor after about 5 minutes and we got out and took the stairs from then on.
The hotel was clean and new looking and the area seemed very safe. A wonderful patisserie was up the street next to the metro with the best food!
We would stay here again and just make sure we always take the stairs!
- D (8/5): Very good - Take bus 43 from Gare du nord to Pprt Maillot
Cros the street and tyrn left or
Yse metro Argentin station
- Adèle (10/5): Quiet hotel close to Arc de Triomphe - Small, quiet hotel. Located in the central Paris travel zone. Only 5 minutes walk from Argentine Metro, on the line that goes to many tourist attractions incl Louvre, Pompidou centre.
Within 3 minutes walk is a good Boulangerie where we sometimes got breakfast, lunch or just a coffee. Also French and Italian and other restaurants.
Delighted with hotel, good staff, & heavily discounted rate (over 50% off) fir our stay in early January.
- Mil (8/5): Room was too tiny but ok - Very well located hotel, welcoming staff. Little overpriced but good service.
- jack (8/5): A nice place to stay - Perfect room for a brief business stay, if came longer for pleasure which I will definitely do will request one of their larger rooms.
Continental breakfast good, a very nice place to stay
- A D (6/5): - It was average. VERY hard bed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Classic - It was a classy hotel that had beautiful architecture. The lady who worked the afternoon shifts was lovely and very helpful in getting us to different destinations. It was much appreciated that she shared her knowledge.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very comfortable hotel - A small but very clean and comfortable hotel. Really nice to have windows on 2 sides so that there was ability to have a breeze go through (although A/C also available). Staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. Great shops nearby.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Small but clean hotel - Location is good. 15-20 minutes walk to arc de triomphe. Elevator can only fit 2 pax with luggage but it doesnt matter as long as its working.
- stacey (6/5): No customer service - Check on clerk was bored and rude with his job. He couldn't be bored to answer any questions ruined our only day in paris horrible man
- chinnah (8/5): Great - Comfy place in a great location.
- Luis Alfonso (8/5): Very Good balance price vs quality - My expectations when I booked this hotel due to location vs price were low. Once I arrived to the small building, the person who checked me in was not friendly at all, which reinforced my expectation, (I realized later that the other staff members in different shifts were very different). When I opened the room, the impression started to change; although room is small, it looked, clean, nice and cozy. The bathroom was very nice, and the distribution good. Beds are comfortable, and the place is quiet.
The hotel is located 5 min away walking from a subway station (Argentine) and it takes about 10 min to walk to the Arch of Triumph. There are small restaurants and coulple of nice places to get sandwiches and pastries one block away. There is another station not too far (Porte Maillot) which has more restaurants around
To improve the internet quality. I was on 5th floor but the signal was unstable and speed is low
In general, good experience. Good choice when I come back to Paris
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent stay - Excellent stay
- elena (8/5): - The staff were really friendly and helpful as they spoke spanish and English. The room was comfy and the location is really convenient.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good value given it's proximity to the Arc de Triomphe ( 10 min walk ). Breakfast average enough, room spacious and modern by Paris standards - shower was exceptional.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Close to public transport - Within walking distance to Arc de Truimph Champs Elysee and Eiffel Tower .
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe and a short walk to the Metro. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. We would stay here again.
- Thomas (10/5): Superb hotel - A lovely hotel a short walk from Arc De Triumph. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and hugely welcoming.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not bad - The hotel is close to the metro (just about 5 mins walk away) and staff at this hotel were VERY helpful and professional. The hotel room was sufficient but basic. I was a little disappointed that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and I did not like that the decor was mostly brown. The carpet in the bedroom was visibly not as clean as it could have been but I could see a piece of the Eiffel Tower if I looked out my window and down the street, so that was nice. Overall, Villa Brunel was ok. For the price, considering typical Paris hotels, it's not bad value for money.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very good hotel and service - Very polite staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice place to stay. Staff and hotel location good - Nice hotel clean and staff very professional. I recommend
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very nice close to Arc and Metro - Great location close to metro stop. 30 min from CDG airport. Helpful staff. Rooms cleaned daily with clean towels. Ideal if you are on a budget.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location next to the train station. Staff was great and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Tourist
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Basic, not too many amenities. Convienent, clean, street noise. all lights except bathroom on one circuit.
- WING PONG CLARENCE (8/5): Convenient hotel at affordable price - The hotel is very near to Airport Bus from/to CDG, just 10 minutes walk, and walking distance to the city centre.
- YAHOR (8/5): Good location - Gool location, clean room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Overnight stay in Paris - The hotel was ideal for an overnight stay in Paris. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable, had the basics needed in the room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great location - My husband and I along with our 8 year old son recently. The hotel is well positioned as it is very close to the Arc d'triumph. From there we could travel very easily around Paris and also to Euro disney. The hotel itself was basic, rooms were clean and most staff very helpful. We did have some Wi-Fi promblems on the last night of our stay which was a little frustrating as we wanted to check in online for our flights.I would stay at Villa Brunel in the future as the price was very resonable considering the location.
- Snoopylou (8/5): Great Location - Brilliant Stay - We stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel to be clean and tidy. The classic room was nice, bed comfy, windows that open and air conditioning. However the en-suite was very small. The superior room en-suite is much more spacious("swing 4 cats")
The staff were very friendly, spoke English and knowledgeable. Special Thank You to Renaud for having answers to all our questions.
The location is well placed for getting around. The Metro at the end of the road (3 mins) with more lines available 8 mins walk at the Arc De Triomphe / Champs Elysees. The Bus No 43 takes you to Gard Du Nord (Eurostar) is a 2 mins walk from Hotel.
The Big Bus Tour stops at the Arc De Triomphe, great for sight seeing.
You could take a pleasant stroll the whole length of the Champs Elysees(lots of shops and restaurants) and end up at the Louvre. To walk is the best way to see the sights.
I would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay in Paris - Great place to stay. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Super clean, great customer service and very comfortable bed. Within walking distance to various cafes, restaurants, metro and bus station.
- C S (8/5): Villa Brunel is very good value - Nice and quiet but still close to centre. Good transport links: Metro, RER and No. 43 Bus direct to Gare du Nord. Wish we found that first day!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Falls short a bit from what is advertised. - Great location but hotel is a but tired looking!! Pictures on website are much better than the real thing. Shower needs some work water goes all over the place, cigerrette butts on window ledges, Air conditioning didnt really work and wifi horrible.
- DEXTER (6/5): Bathroom - The shawor rooms are just too impossible to use. I am quite a tall person and could not fit my legs when seating on the toilet, as a result, I had to go to toilet for number 2 only at work or customers' since I could not use my own toilet in the the room. Need lotion in bathrooms too.
- single mom (2/5): Stay away - stay away from this hotel they don't change towel everyday. Charge you 6.00€ to call for taxi. And early morning ask them to call for taxi the rude receptionist told me he can't call taxi advice me to walk 1 block to catch the taxi.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Avarage, good location - Small rooms not clean location is good , bathroom is very small while taking shower water comes out of the bath into the room
- Erin (10/5): A fantastic hotel in the heart of Paris - I greatly enjoyed my stay at Villa Brunel. The staff were so lovely, helpful and knowlegable; the room was fairly spacious, with a nice view and all the expected mod-cons; and the location was fantastic - just a short walk from Argentine Metro station or Charles de Gaulle-Etoille station.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay again if/when I next return to Paris.
- Mouloud (8/5): good hotel - Very good hotel, well located, but at normal price can be overpriced
- Catty (6/5): Acceptable conditions - The hotel was ok, clean and 10 minutes walking from Champs Elysees. However the room as well as the bathroom were very small. For the price that we paid I was expecting something bigger. Also the receptionist wasn't really nice.
- Becs (10/5): Great Place to stay - Large room, very helpful and polite at reception. clean and more than happy to return to this hotel, prime location
- CM (10/5): Paris last weekend - Last weekend in Europe after a year stay. Hotel clean with little extras but good location. Breakfast should be free but wasn't so prefer to pay in a cafe elsewhere and get more of the Parisian atmosphere.
