The room was comfortable, and I was excited to be staying in the Jewish Ghetto, where the food and the folks were lovely. It was also very near many of the main Rome sights. The room was comfortable and clean. The room was quite small, but I knew what I'd signed up for! The one thing I'd change was that there was no outlet near the bed. I had to charge my devices in the bathroom.

Thank you all for making our stay such a pleasant one :-) The towels in the bathroom were located too high and couldn't reach them without using a stool (I'm 1,65 metres, 5ft 5 inches). Could do with putting them on the towel rail with the hand towels. Otherwise no complaints whatever.

Il manquait des rideaux occlusifs dans notre chambre (persiennes). Apparemment c'était une des rares chambres à ne pas en avoir et c'était dans les projets.

Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist, dass die Zimmermädchen schon sehr früh morgens ab halb acht ziemlich Krach gemacht haben. Man hatte morgens keine wirkliche Ruhe. Ich hätte mir gewünscht wenn man gewartet hätte bis die Gäste eh nach dem Frühstück das Haus verlassen

Clean room with comfortable bed and good shower. Reasonable price. Breakfast seemed a bit pricey. Room was very tight and a bit awkwardly arranged. There was one mix up that could have caused major problems - I made arrangements for a 6 a.m. taxi the morning of my departure and requested (and confirmed) a wake up call for 5:15 a.m. However, I never received the call. Luckily, I did wake up in time to prepare for my departure, but could just as easily have still been asleep when the taxi arrived.

Das Hotel hat eine wunderbare Roof Top Bar, die von sehr tollen Mädchen betreut wird. Rundherum ein tolles Hotel in super Lage! Für uns gibts nichts zu verbessern!

Absolutely loads of places to eat nearby as well as supermarkets. Walking distance to sights of Rome and the adjacent streets are also interesting. Would recommend and would return. Visitors should note that while the website says laundry facilities are available this is not the case although they will recommend places. As well, website says kettles in each room also not the case. The staff will provide hot water for tea upon request. We had a corner room which was fine, but snoring from next door was an issue one day, and the room was quite dark. Just fyi.

• Stephen (10/5): - I have stayed at Hosianum twice and would / will do so again. It’s really not in any particular neighborhood, but rather in a spot where a bunch of neighborhoods come together, so it’s super convenient for visiting anywhere in Rome. You can walk to many places in 15 to 20 minutes, but buses are just a couple of minutes walk away and so easy to take with just a tap-and-go credit card (no complicated ticket process to figure out as years ago.) Hosianum is a bargain price-wise, perhaps because of the unusual name or that it is a little out-of-the-way, when in fact, as noted, it’s not far from anywhere you might want to go. The breakfast is good, not the huge spread of larger hotels, but healthy and convenient, so you can get a quick start on a day of seeing Rome. The rooms are so spotlessly clean that you might think you are the first person staying there after a complete renovation. WiFi was perfect. There are some wonderful restaurants in a 3 minutes walk. My room both times was short on view and I suspect most rooms are - it is a small hotel in an ancient, though completely modernized, building, no taller than its neighbors. I could recommend hotels that are 100€ more a night, but if you don’t want to spend 100€ more per night, then Hosianum is a perfect choice.
