- writeme784 (10/5): Thanks to Hady and the Ritz Cairo for a great hotel stay - I arrived in Cairo in the morning very tired and hoped to get a room earlier for some rest. Hady at the check in desk, greeted me with a warm welcoming smile, asked how I was doing and right away checked the space availability and arranged get me a nice quiet room overlooking the Nile for early check in. He was also very helpful with other requests that I had. He made me feel like I was a VIP. Its a great way to start a trip feeling like you are an important guest at your hotel. The facilities are nice and luxurious with a feeling of opulence and grandeur. The Wi-Fi was very good and was able to multitask on the computer without any lags. As a competitive swimmer, I loved the huge pool. The breakfast was so amazing with such a variety of Egyptian foods that I was full the whole day. I am still salivating as I am writing this. All the staff was so friendly greeting me every time they passed by. They have staff that accommodated you to the room and show you the facilities of the hotel. A very nice personal touch to get you acclimated to a new County and hotel. Nardine gave me a tour of the hotel and I got to practice some of my rusty Arabic with her as she walked me through the facilities. She was very sweet and seemed to have a passion for what she does. When I checked out she came over to me and presented me with gift bag including a printed list of Arabic words in a presentation folder for my study and review and challenged me to an exam the next time I came. This was very touching and emotional and I was sad to leave that day. Shukran, Hady and Nardine and the Ritz Cairo for starting my vacation in Egypt at such a high note.

They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help—often anticipating our needs before we even had the chance to mention them. It honestly felt like they could read our minds (in the best way possible!). The hotel itself exceeded every expectation. Our room was spacious, spotless, and even better than what was promised at the time of booking. Every detail was thoughtfully maintained, creating a comfortable and luxurious atmosphere throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the Nile—it’s something you never really get used to, no matter how many times you look out. Whether it was morning or evening, the scenery was simply stunning. The food was another standout. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Dining at the hotel was consistently a great experience. Overall, this stay went above and beyond in every way. It’s rare to find a place that not only delivers on its promises but surpasses them so effortlessly. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairo.

- Adele (10/5): Beautiful Experience! - 7th trip to Cairo, first at the Ritz. Beautiful luxurious experience. Location is just perfect at the Nile. Most comfortable beds ive ever slept in! Breakfast is yummy with so much variety! Staff is very friendly. Special thanks to: Samir and Zeinab at breakfast, Abdul Rahman and Ahmad at reception, Jamal who was taking care of our room daily and Nabil at the entrance door who welcomes u in the most friendly and funny way. Make sure ur room has a Nile view its worth it. Minibar super expensive stay away from it. No balconies which is too bad for a hotel with such nice view!

La stanza è spaziosa e super pulita, il bagno dotato di TUTTO shampoo, balsamo, bagno schiuma, tutti i piccoli set necessari come il pettine, kit da barba, spazzolino e dentifricio, phon x capelli, bilancia. Veramente uno deve portare solo le cose personali perché il resto lo si trova sul posto. Sempre in stanza la macchinetta da caffè e bollitore e bottiglie d'acqua in omaggio ogni giorno. I letti sono molto comodi e puliti. La colazione è molto abbondante 🔝 Ci sono due ristoranti interni entrambi ottimi. Unica pecca che potrei trovare è che durante il fine settimana (venerdì e sabato) potrebbe capitare che organizzano matrimoni e non sono feste da poco pertanto chi ha la stanza vista città si trova a dover sentire la musica altissima fino a l'una di notte circa.

They even helped us when we had trouble with the Ubers up charging us for a ride to the train station on our last day. The pool area, workout facilities and restaurants were great as well. We wish the pool was open longer

Но нет никакой звукоизоляции с улицы. Спать невозможно. Гул машин, автомобильные гудки – слышно так , будто лежишь прямо на дороге.
- Lushen Rajaruthnam (9/5): One of the best hotels in Egypt. Everything you need is in the hotel or nearby - Stay here for a perfect Cairo and Egypt experience. Location of the hotel was amazing (next to the old Egyptian museum). Breakfast was by far the best I had in the entire country (after travelling to Luxor and Aswan). The staff were brilliant and the room itself was so well appointed and looked after. They have a bank inside the Hotel to change money! Nothing, our whole time in Cairo was amazing because of the hotel!

Piscina olimpionica! I ristoranti lasciano un po' a desiderare non hanno soddisfatto le mie aspettative! Anche se eravamo al 9° piano si sentiva il rumore del traffico sottostante.

The entrance was well guarded, thus most Uber drivers did not want to drive inside to the hotel front. Had to walk to street to get on/off car.

Рядом много магазинчиков и кафе Очень существенный недостаток – уличный шум. Окна пропускают абсолютно все звуки: гул машин, автомобильные гудки. Спать невозможно без берушей.

You can walk to restaurants and very easy to grab ubers. The facilities like the gym, and spa were excellent. It felt like an oasis in the busyness of Cairo. Would definitely stay again! The outside area by the pool looks a bit plain. The only real thing I didnt like was the bar which was smoking. People also lit up around the resturant which ruins the environment.

- Norman (9/5): Great, but the smoking everywhere is awful. - Good location. Great staff. Good food in restaurants. Cigarette smoke everywhere!! This is not just a Ritz problem, this is a problem all over Cairo. It is like the US in the 1960’s. Smoking section of restaurants 20 feet from the nonsmoking areas inside! Same air. Ritz should lead in having smoke free facilities everywhere in the world!!

Schitterend uitzicht over de Nijl. Inrichting is zoals je mag verwachten van het Ritz, Amerikaans en enigszins klassiek.

All’interno ci sono tre ristoranti di cui uno italiano molto buono. La colazione ottima e abbondante a buffet In entrambe le due sere non abbiamo potuto dormire fino alle due di notte a causa della musica alta proveniente dalle sale che l’hotel utilizza per feste private.

- Luggo (9/5): Excellent hôtel de luxe en centre ville. - La chambre très grande (Deluxe avec vue sur jardin), les équipements et prestations, la qualité du service et le buffet. Le prix très correct pour ce niveau de prestations haut de gamme. Un hôtel de luxe à l'ancienne, au final plus confortable que son cousin au pied des pyramides, mais désormais moins bien placé dès lors que le musée a été transféré également près des pyramides... L'hôtel n'est plus aussi bien situé qu'avant, mais l'expérience est vraiment top. L'environnement en centre ville. Les repas ont des prix un peu élevés.

- DrVrD (10/5): Loved this place and planning to return - I love this hotel ❤️ despite the muted noise at the back and the Cairo or Nile traffic at the front. I had the pleasure to live in both rooms at different times during my trip. The pool looked amazing though it was too chilly weather for me to use it. We had breakfast and dinner, we used the cigar bar and the Italian restaurant. Pleasure and joyful atmosphere. I wish to urgently suggest to management to provide more advertisement for the absolutely excellent hair dresser and nail bar on the 2nd floor. They are fantastic 🌈❤️🌈 The clothing boutiques for women are absolutely fantastic and we spent quite a bit of time and money 😅. My dry cleaning was not returned on time so I left without but didn’t mind too much. My suitcase was still within weight limits. I would certainly recommend this hotel as the bed was unbelievably comfortable and large xx and everything was just perfect.
