Barbara (10/5): Lovely stay in Venice! - We arrived at the hotel by water taxi, and were welcomed immediately at the hotel. Because we have VIP status with hotels.com, we were upgraded into a suite, received early check in, and a welcome bottle of prosecco. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff we're welcoming and helpful, the breakfast provided there was plentiful and fresh, and the little bar area was a lovely place to sit and watch the gondolas go by. Great view!

Nikki (10/5): - They upgraded us to a junior suite which was very large, and a chilled bottle of Prosecco was waiting for us when we arrived. The striped wallpaper is definitely not calming but I liked it because it was different and kind of quirky! The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was fairly standard. The shower pressure was not that great and there was no conditioner in the eco friendly large bottle. Housekeeping should check these things before a guest’s arrival. I asked for the conditioner to be replaced and the man who came up seemed annoyed with us when he brought up shampoo (not conditioner) and proceeded to stand all over the fresh bath mat in his work shoes. The front desk gave us good recommendations for restaurants. The hotel is on the Grand Canal, about a ten minute walk to Piazza San Marco. It is quiet and feels very safe walking in that neighbourhood. The doorman/bellhop was very helpful. Front desk staff were also helpful and pleasant. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

The power did return, and we had no AC for our entire stay. We had to open the windows to keep cool, we were bitten by mosquito for the next 4 nights. (yes, we closed the window) Hotel never comp us for any nights and this is not acceptable. Everyone at the hotel was nice, but this is a top-rated hotel, and they should do something.

Vaporetto’s stop is right in front of the hotel, which is really convenient, especially if you have luggage. Breakfast was good. Area around the hotel was quite dark at night, not good to go out. But location was otherwise very nice during the day, close to everything. I would go back and I would recommend it.

Everyone there was so friendly. The breakfast is great. We had a canal view room it was so stunning. The private water taxis took us everywhere and were very prompt. We did the trip to Murano as well. Great drinks at the bar! So perfect and again Luigi is the man!

Easy but if you don’t know, you don’t know. Pro tip the casino on the island of Venice is a broke down scam. Don’t waste your money thinking you are going to a glamorous James Bond casino. Most basement games have more character, charm and service than this place.

Yet I was rejected at the airport and after traveling to the airport had to take a train to Milan and spend two days getting an emergency passport at the American embassy. The staff should know how to advise people who have this problem. We were greatly inconvenienced financially and timewise.

James (10/5): - It is right on the Grand Canal next to a dock for public water transport. Arranged private water taxi service to the ship terminal for our cruise. We were able to check in early after being up most of the night flying to Venice. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Monica (8/5): - Great spot on the Grand Canal and lovely breakfast. Back Garden was closed and under construction. Front seating by canal was uncomfortable.
Herve (10/5): - This property was beautiful. It is very well situated, by the grand canal, next to a vaporetto and alilaguna stop. Two minutes walk from there is the campo San Angelo which opens your discovery of Venice. There are lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms were very quiet, with shutters so we wouldn’t be woken up by the morning light. Our bed was very comfortable. We loved the bath with jets. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. There is a bar where you can have nice cocktails and snacks, either inside or by the canal. The breakfast is a buffet. They serve you a drink and otherwise you can help yourself to a wide array of choices. But you won’t get any custom made breakfast. I should also note that this is not a huge hotel. The breakfast room has maybe 8 tables, so you wil not feel crowded at all. This helped fostering an overall relaxed and calm atmosphere of the hotel, which contrasts with the effervescence of the city. Overall, this was an excellent stay. A bit pricy, but definitely worth it.

Chris (10/5): - Staff was excellent and very helpful. The weather put a bit of a damper on our visit, but the city is beautiful and worth the trip.
Marchelle (10/5): Great hotel and a wonderful stay. - The hotel was wonderful, and so quaint. Right on the water and close to several restaurants. The dining area outside was lovely and the breakfast was really delicious. The upgraded room was a bit smaller than expected, but the bathroom was large and we had a view of the canal. The lobby was small, but the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Jack (10/5): Wonderful stay-many thanks! - Wonderful stay, all the staff were fabulous and extremely helpful. Shout out to Iris and David for their great dining and activity recommendations. The junior suite we stayed in was wonderful-lots of space and a nice whirlpool tub to return to in the evenings. Easy walking distance to dining, shopping, and attractions. Very conveniently located adjacent to one of the water taxi stops
Nadia (10/5): - Staff was very helpful and accommodating. They gave great suggestions for food and a nearby supermarket. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING. The view is spectacular, you just want to have a drink and in their outside lobby and enjoy the view. Venice is a bit hard to get to get to, you will have to take a ferry, so be prepared for that.
Clarence (8/5): - Nice property conveniently located to water taxi and walking distance to several amenities and attractions. Great breakfast but overall very expensive for the value!
Wendy (10/5): Amazing luxury hotel - We had an amazing stay at the hotel. Our luggage didn’t arrive in Venice with us but the hotel were so helpful providing us additional toiletries and travel plugs until we could get access to our own, nothing was too much trouble

Richard (8/5): - Staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. Water taxi drops you right outside the hotel but the noise of the taxi's and other boats from early in the morning is a bit of an issue. Breakfast wS fantastic. Good luck navigating Venice!
Thomas (10/5): - The hotel is beautiful and the staff is simply amazing. There is a water bus stop right outside the hotel. It’s located on the Grand Canal, and you can sit right there and have a drink. You can walk to the Rialto Bridge area which has lots of restaurants, bars, gondolas, etc.
Catherine (10/5): Elegant palazzo hotel - Great location near St Mark’s Sq, maybe ten mins walk max. Staff very helpful. Room comfortable if a little cool. Jacuzzi bath was fun. Lots of amenities but no kettle or coffee maker. Truly Excellent selection and quality for breakfast that was ready on the dot at 7am when we needed it. Hotel is Very near the stop for the water bus line 1. There is a string smell of cigars everywhere in Venice including public areas here
