- Martherine (10/5): Beautiful hotel - Stayed for 6 nights in the Emerald Suite on the first floor in the original part of the hotel it was stunning large entrance with dressing area huge bathroom, shower his and hers sinks and huge bath and another separate toilet off the hallway large comfortable lounge with corner sofa and dining area. We booked Royal Club which included lovely afternoon tea every day and drinks and canapés every evening with a choice of 2 lounges. We preferred the smaller club lounge as it was quieter the Royal club lounge was chaos at night and ran out of canapés. Breakfast which was offered in either lounge was plentiful with lots of choice. The hotel entrance area was huge and just beautiful there was also a patisserie and the food was lovely. The pool areas were all lovely and well kept with plenty of loungers. Mediterranean village offered a number of restaurants and Dubliners Irish bar. The staff we encountered were all extremely pleasant especially in the club lounge and the helpful concierge guy l wish l remembered his name he was from Kerala fabulous guy and the pool guy from Sri Lanka great guy, We loved our stay
- Tuckerton (10/5): A truly excellent hotel - We had a one night stay at this delightful hotel prior to leaving Dubai during this time of crisis. Rita greeted us very warmly and formalities were handed gracefully. Our booking was last minute, but this proved to be no obstacle. The room was a complete surprise, beautifully decorated, large and a bathroom which felt like a smaller version of those in a Ritz Carlton. The beds were very comfortable and the television allowed casting, something that we have found a challenge in many hotels. We had access to the Executive Lounge and were well looked after by Jagdish. The pots of tea, made with loose tea were delicious as were the cookies. Evening snacks were substantial and delicious and looked after by an attentive chef. All the lounge staff we had contact with were charming. With left the hotel at the depressing hour of 4am and both the receptionist on duty, duty manger and concierge were very pleasant.

- XUSA_TravelerX (10/5): Solid hotel in Dubai near the airport; great Executive Lounge - I have stayed at this hotel several times. I keep coming back due to the service, location and number of restaurants and bars that are on-site. They have nice grounds, pools and a good gym. I generally stay in the Le Royal building and have access to the Royal Executive Lounge which has a great breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktail hour. You can stop by anytime to get a can of soda or a sparkling water. The only odd thing about this lounge is you must sign off on a bill with whatever you ordered listed even though there is no charge for it. That can be annoying when in a hurry and just want a quick drink or soda. The location in near the airport but it is not far from downtown Dubai. We took either a taxi, hotel car or uber to downtown or other areas of Dubai and found it to be easy to do. I had business in Sharjah and Ajman and it was not difficult to get to either.

Breakfast at the Club Lounge was great with many cold and hot choices, plus the staff was very friendly. Airport shuttle was consistently on time. My only criticism is the excessive calls Front Desk makes to your room... I requested a wake-up call and even when I answered the first time, they called me four other times.

And lots of restaurants . Didn't really need to go off site although we did for typical sightseeing trips. A special mention shoukd go to the Club Lounge staff who were super friendly and attentive. In particular Shwe, Jardine and their manager Aries. They really looked after us and made us feel special. Thank you

However, none of that mattered as the welcoming atmosphere, was the same as I remembered it. Some of the old faces I remembered were one, but many still remained. Almost as if on cue, I saw Sreesha at the front desk to check me in. We both recognized each other immediately. Next, I saw Shiva, the Security for the Le Royal Club. We both smiled and greeted each other warmly. It was at that moment that I felt everything would be alright. Many familiar faces did remain. I stayed for the New Year's (2026) festivities., which included hanging out for Happy Hour. Bhavika was still there ensuring that her team was accommodating the guests in their usal professional way. I was introduced to a new group, which included Sanjib, Vinit, Lynn, Yint, Nirbika, Mr. Jiku, and Shwe. Lekshmi assisted me in ordering a car to take me to the airport upon my later checkout. All in all, my most recent visit felt like I had never go anywhere. The team never missed a beat to make me feel right at home in Le Royal Club.

I have to say I haven't eat better omelettes than those prepared from Madhusha. Even 6 30 in the morning this guy is always smiling and positive, a very kind person. The service in the Lounge shouldn't be so good also without the service provided from Jagdish and Sanjeeta. All the time focused on every detail, smiling, a great staff really

They exceeded my expectation by decorating the bed for my daughter's birthday eventhough I didn't tell them. It looks like the wonderful room keeper saw the birthday cards. Wow, I was impressed. Its a vibrant hotel. Staff at the entrance give you a warm welcome and help when you go out to get on your booked transport. The food is lovely and reasonable Thank you so much, I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family. We will definitely come back. Loved the beautiful Christmas decorations and I will be coming here for Christmas one day.Unfortunately I took mostly videos not pictures.
- pppj (4/5): Not a 5 star hotel... - Definitely not a 5-star hotel. This property feels nowhere near luxury and comes across more like a 3.5/4star airport hotel. First impression was disappointing. The valet did not acknowledge us, open doors, or assist with luggage. We had to handle our bags ourselves, which is not what you expect from a hotel claiming five-star service. Check-in itself was smooth and friendly, which was a positive. The rooms felt dated overall. Carpets and walls clearly show wear and age. I’m not sure if this was related to booking with free night rewards, but we experienced multiple issues in the room. The shower temperature was very inconsistent, constantly switching between hot and cold, and the faucets appeared clogged and poorly maintained. The bed however was comfortable and internet worked great. The breakfast buffet was decent with a wide variety of food options, but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, this is not a property I would return to unless proximity to the airport was the main priority. It does not meet the expectations of a luxury or true five-star hotel.

They extended our late checkout and helped us find attractions and aided us in food service, setting up a taxi and finding restaurants. - PipoontheRoad (2/5): They like to cheat you - A rather outdated and poor hotel that may have been good about 20 years ago. The staff are very hard-working and friendly. At check-out everything was fine, except for the member points, which for some reason could not be credited. Then, after a week, there was a charge for the minibar, even though the minibar had not even been opened. I never use a minibar. You then spend half an hour on the phone, are passed from one person to another, and eventually someone assures you that this incorrect charge will be refunded. And then you never hear from them again, leaving you to wonder whether you should start the whole process all over. No, you shouldn’t. You should simply avoid hotels like this and discourage others from choosing them or being willing to pay a completely overpriced price, with the risk of then being cheated as well.

Only negative was the hotel shuttle: pickup is only every hour at night and they don’t do drop-off to Terminal 2 and don’t tell you that anywhere.

The room was spacious and was clean, however this hotel is in need of modernisation. After a special time in May made wonderful by so many staff, we had to return to celebrate another birthday. Every aspect of this hotel is outstanding, rooms were spotless due to Regina & Manoj, Dinusan at the pool makes every guest feel welcomed & happy. All the waiting/bar staff are brilliant & this time we had the pleasure of Nang, Lynn, Sanjeewa, Nithin & Nishaan spoiling us with Jiku overseeing all was 110%. Drinks are plentiful with a very varied menu & the afternoon tea & appetizers are above 5* beach hotels. The location to the airport means you are relaxing at the hotel in no time at all, such a bonus & no plane noise either. Numerous pools & extensive gardens are unusual for city hotels. Quadri & Jocelyn at the front desk were so helpful, room & special requests were met with no hesitation, this addition to detail means a lot. Both our trips were for 8 nights, another return trip is booked for next May already. Cannot wait to feel pampered again. Thank you to all, management please pass on our thanks. Alison & Katrina

Surprisingly quiet despite proximity to airport; rooms clean and comfortable, a wide variety of dining options, multiple swimming pools for relaxation / exercise / kids / etc, and a generally pleasant property and staff. If management are reading; the only note is that the tile in the bar pool is WELL overdue for a deep scrub.

Please consider recognizing them for their outstanding service and dedication. 1) Yalumba Food Beverage A heartfelt thank-you to all the Head Chefs and chefs at Yalumba who always know my food preferences and prepare everything just the way I like it - Chef Jahir, Pranov, Abhijit, Jeus, Anshul Chauhan, and Nikhil. 2)Yalumba Breakfast Team Without me even saying a word, they already know my preferences whether it’s warm water with crushed lemon and ginger, or a masala chai, latte, or cappuccino with coconut milk. A huge thank-you to the entire team led by Ajit and Adharsh, especially Susmita, Aarti, Pema, Arslam, Savitra, Dinna, Stacey, Calvin, Waruna, Nyien, and all the new rotating staff from other departments within Le Meridien whose names I may have missed. 3) Le Meridien Cafe Aashish Bishwakarma and Joy Cruz for their hospitality especially the birthday and farewell cakes. 4) Le Royal Club team During my tea breaks and dinner, I truly enjoy the wonderful hospitality led by Sanjib, Bhavika, Jiku, and Sanjeeta, along with Iziu, Ashish Karki, Nirbika, Nang, Sanjeewa, Nishan, Projwal, Rahul, Lynn, Jagbish, Nilan, and Dau. 5) Reception & Concierge team Front office & Le Royal Club Jocelyn’s team handles every type of customer with impressive professionalism and grace be it Suchi, Lekshmi, Dannylyn, Twinkle, Mia, Electra, Kiko, and Wissal all demonstrated how thoughtfully Le Meridien management has selected their staff. They managed any situation with confidence and courtesy. 6) Bell boys be it at Le Royal or Front office Their warm smiles whether they greet me with a good morning, good afternoon, or good evening always brighten my day, whether I’m at Le Royal or the Front Office of Le Meridien Hotel. Named - Ashok, Navas, Salam, Malik, Munir and Shiva. Named - Muhammad Raffiq, Chitty Babu, Abdullah, Macdoom, Pronab Bose and Khoken Das. 7) Security - Le Royal Shiva and Hemraj asked me with polite, how's my day and so on each time I passed them. 8) Housekeeping & Cleaners team Le Royal Club Supervisor Kamlesh and his team Istrana, Subrata, Riswan, Arun and Sai Krishna, they ensured our room is cleaned superbly on a weekly basis and did marvellous birthday deco with a cake. Sweet, lovely ladies Binu, Soniya, and Rabia always greet me warmly whenever they see me at the Le Royal Club on the ground floor. 9) Room Sevice team Le Royal Club Sarina and her team Le Meridien Dubai Hotel awesome teamwork and keep continue your service. - sureshvaswani852021 (10/5): Not bad to stay family budget hotel - Love to stay , room service guy Himanshu was so friendly and helping He is so kind, but I cannot recommend this hotel based on an extremely negative guest interaction we experienced. A person from another room aggressively confronted us by shouting and using abusive language in our room over the television volume. While we understand the need for quiet, the correct protocol is to contact the front desk, not to aggressively approach another guest's room. The hotel's failure to manage guest complaints professionally (by allowing a guest to escalate the issue themselves) created a very hostile and uncomfortable environment for my family. This level of intrusion and abuse is unacceptable in any accommodation. It was my second time stay. I will mention that hotel people should take some action against that other room guy

- kwiks2025 (10/5): Great and welcoming hotel - I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The experience was wonderful from start to finish. With around 18 restaurants on-site, the selection of food was incredible — there was always something new and delicious to try. Despite being very close to the airport, I had no issues at all with plane noise, which made the stay even more relaxing. All the staff were very professional. A special shout-out to Vijay and Ajmal, who delivered consistently excellent service throughout my visit. Their professionalism and attentiveness truly stood out. Overall, this is a great place not just to relax, but also to network. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area for business.
