- laurent (8/5): Très bien situé à Héliopolis - L'emplacement de cet hôtel et son quartier populaire. Le personnel très accueillant et chaleureux. Er surtout le pub qui est très pratique lorsque l'on rentre d'une journée et que l'on peut boire bières, alccols local ou boissons sans alcool mais également avoir un dîner raisonnable. Le personnel de chambre était top!!! Le petit déjeûner pourrait être plus fourni et surtout avoir du vrai jus d'oranges serait top! Nous ne sommes plus habitués à ce que les gens fument dans les lieux publics! Un peu gênant

Area is not so much but safe , quite few stray dogs running around . No fear is just one of the things noticed .. you have to try the hooka next door open 24 hrs and inexpensive good service

Basics mater! - location was great and they assisted in providing airport shuttle which was helpful. 1- room was dusty 2- no water was provided at all 3- no kettle , coffee or tea was available at all. 4- no tooth brush 5- room was smelly as it hasn't been refreshed for long time.

- Akram (7/5): Average Hotel in a good location in Heliopolis - The room was big and the bathroom was a good size too. The location was good but I did not have time to go out to eat. The room service found my small torch and I was contacted in the taxi to come back and collect which I appreciated. Room was dated so was the bathroom, AC was OK and the wifi. The breakfast was passable.

The manager & reception refused me & husband as a hotel guest. after 20 hours traveling,I arrived at hotel (at night); The manager refused to accept my registered marriage certificate. I have been married for one year and half, & have never been denied as a guest in hotels. The manager told me to go to another hotel; Obviously he is unaware of what a registered legal signed stamped marriage certificate looks like. The sales office confirmed my reservation a month ago, & I informed them of my marriage certificate. There seems to be no professional communication between the sales office & the reception. The reception & manager were extremely rude, disrespectful, & I hope Expedia discontinues business with Beirut hotel.

- Maire (1/5): Thanks, - Collection from airport was on-time. I had a Written Agreement with them which they refused to honour after I checked in. I had a special rate Agreement with c/out 20:00. They changed the time to 17:00 for that rate with no consent from me. They refused me lunch/dinner menu when my room had a menu stating available 24hours. They offered me breakfast for almost $40.00. They said if I stayed on until 20:00 and paid full price, then they'd include the breakfast. Staff were too rude and refused to say goodbye as I asked for a receipt on leaving. I stipulated no-smoking room but their was a smell of smoke inside and an ashtray. Just some of what I didn't like.

- Melissa (7/5): Good - It had breakfast and airport transfer at a decent rate. It was an old hotel, and they were relaxed about checking in, and quite chatty when it was almost midnight! Linens were clean but old, with so me stains.
- Sarah (8/5): Great stay near airport - Very conveniently located near airport with free shuttle. Front desk evening clerk especially was amazing! He bent over backwards to help us in any way he could. Free Wifi didn't work well most of the time. Even the engineers they sent to our room to fix it weren't able to do much. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Fortunately we were high enough that all the honking traffic didn't bother us too much. We had to check out at 5 AM, so they let us special order what to put in our breakfast to go boxed - even cheese omelets which were quite tasty. The beds were a little too firm for my taste but I slept pretty well nonetheless. I appreciated the bottled water they provided in the room.

The pick up from the airport was very straightforward and they proactively asked me about if I needed it for the way back to the airport. It was ready and waiting for me when I needed to leave. I had a very nice simple meal at the restaurant in the evening. I was leaving too early to eat breakfast at the hotel, but they gave me a huge packed breakfast which was great. It lasted me two days!! The environment is very dated, as is clear from the pictures, and would benefit from being updated, but it was all functional and comfortable so worked well for me for a one night stay.

They are friends and hopefully become a part of my traveling family! Shuttle to the hotel was a little late but not a bit problem.

The staff are friendly and helpful and it is in a pleasant part of town quite near the airport. The room was hot so don't expect much from the ancient aircon controls. Also the wifi doesn't really work in the room.

After I checked out, they were willing to store my luggage for a few hours until I needed to come back and get it for my flight.

- Rachel (8/5): Very good - The location is convenient to get to and from the airport, the rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was nice as well. Overall a great place stay if you want to avoid airport traffic, it's close to the metro as well and around the corner from a nice courtyard with restaurants to eat in. The free car to the airport is also nice. We booked a "Double Room" on Booking.com but somehow the hotel had us written down for a single occupancy in the room. They charged us an extra $25 as there were 2 of us. I think it was just a miscommunication between Booking's website and how the hotel actually does things, but it was a stressful note to end our stay on, particularly as the hotel did not bring it to our attention until we were leaving for the airport. Otherwise no complaints.
