Robert (6/5): Nice Staff - Friendly staff and the hotel is in a good spot in the centre. The hotel is becoming dated and could do with some tlc. I only had a bowl of soup albeit at £11 just as well. Like all hotels worldwide they offer food and drinks well beyond the value. If hotels realised they would get a lot more custom if they charged a reasonable price. Why pay over the odds at the hotel when there are a multitude of cheaper options on the doorstep.

jimlP6398KJ (6/5): Nice but five stars? - This hotel is a good one, reasonably priced with good facilities but is somewhat tired. It has a good but expensive restaurant and, it must be said, has a limited breakfast which, for Europeans and Americans would also seem expensive for the choice offered. It is well situated in a nice tourist area, has swimming pools and a gym. The service is friendly and staff are very accommodating and helpful. It has a restaurant and separate bar with an extensive lobby and seating area.We were made to feel at home and enjoyed our stay. However, as earlier stated the rooms are in need of decoration and are quite dark with little direct sunshine. The is a minibar but no tea or coffee making facilities. There is no iron in the room although laundry facilities are offered at a charge. I found the beds to be too soft and sheets in a state of wear. Vacuuming in the room did not appear to have been carried out. I don’t think it would be awarded five stars in the UK but that is my opinion and to compare at that level may be a little misleading. That did not detract from the lovely time we had in the city and I commend the staff for making every effort to speak good English and accommodate everyone.

Shared areas downstairs really clean and modern and great door staff too. Breakfast was really good and buffet style. Rooms were dated but our bed was sooo comfortable (premier inn standard for us Brits!) Room was serviced well every day and shower was full on so an extra bonus!

Elsa (4/5): - Many things did not function well in the room. 1) the light at entry was very dim and then you had to search for where and how to turn on lights. 2) Each light was controlled differently. 3) The 'black box' next to the bed was supposed to control overhead lights and did not work consistently. 4) There were two telephones with different lines, when the front deak rang, ran to one and no one was there ran to other and they hung up. 5) The fridge is in an enclosed piece of furniture and has no ventilation. When one opens the door of the furniture, hot air espcapes. I was concerned that the fridge couldn't work properly, because i have medication that must be refrigerated. Many such things were inconvenient and oudated, but the worst was when the supervisor of reception questioned me aggressively about my comments. Instead of listening courteously, Ana Victoria Wray, countered every comment with excuses and 'explanations' making an argument out of what should have been simply information. Her lack of understanding of customer service and her arrogance was truly surprising.

The driver did not have the meter running. He would only accept US dollars and charge $20 for a 6 min ride that should have been 1000 pesos. It wasn't the amount just the principle that we shouldn't have to worry about this when it was there recommendation.

Karen (10/5): - From the beginning to the end of our 12 day stay at the Regal Pacific, we received amazing service from the staff. We arrived early from a cruise, and the front desk quickly accommodated us by giving us a room upgrade! The buffet breakfast each morning was fresh with a lot of variety to choose from each morning. The pool was a nice for cooling off in the afternoon, but not large enough for a proper swim (we walked so much, we didn't need extra exercise). The dining room staff were wonderful and we looked forward to practicing our Spanish each morning during breakfast. The concierge was also willing and helpful for a number of questions from booking taxis to finding a nail spa. The room was spacious after being on a cruise ship and everything worked well (air conditioning, water pressure). They have a system where you flip a switch to indicate that you would like your room made up which was convenient and prevented the early morning knock on the door from housekeeping that occurs in many hotels. The location is very central to many of the sightseeing areas, Puerto Madero is only a five minute walk away and full of restaurants and if you prefer high end shopping the Galleria Pacifica mall is two blocks away. The mall has an extensive food court which was helpful when we didn't feel like going to a restaurant. Overall, we had an excellent stay at the Regal Pacific and look forward to visiting again.

Daniela (6/5): - The room was nice and spacious. The main reason I choose this hotel was because it has a pool. The pool was closed because it's not summer yet although it has been above 30 degrees for the last couple of weeks!
