• P9057PKaprilw (6/5): Good to stay if you want a spot that is clean and simple and centrally located. - This is my honest opinion about this hotel. Upon arrival I was very happy to find that the hotel is located just minutes from the Bibliotheque Francois Mitterrand metro station so it an easy trip from Charles de Gualle and also the city center. I like the area technically Bercy which I have stayed in before. Very yummy breakfast however the dining area is a tad small, so arrive early as to avoid waiting to eat breakfast. Very nice staff. Now for the downside. When I checked into my room there was the most horrid smell and unfortunately there weren't any rooms available for me to switch so I had to sleep with the smell. I was able to transfer rooms the following evening. My new room was clean but there were a few broken things and they needed to update the paint because there were marks on some on the walls and the safe did not work. In the hallways there were gashes along some of the walls and broken fixtures. I did have a great view from my window!

• Mónica (8/5): Recomendado 👍 - Muy buena ubicación al lado del metro. Los recepcionistas muy amables, nos lo hicieron todo muy fácil. La habitación, cómoda. Por poner algún pero, sería al baño, que no tiene casi mampara y es imposible ducharse sin inundar el suelo. Estupendo que te guarden las maletas aunque llegues muy pronto, hasta que llegas a dormir y también me encantó la cafetera y el agua fría de la entrada. Ah! se me olvidaba el desayuno, una barra pequeñita pero con todo lo necesario para salir bien lleno. En resumen, para 3 o 4 días que me aguanta el pelo sin lavar, volvería sin dudarlo.

• Peiman (10/5): Exceptional Service and Thoughtful Staff - We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience comfortable. We had an early departure and needed to leave before 7 AM, and to our surprise, they kindly opened the breakfast area half an hour earlier just for us—even though they didn’t have to. It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. Highly recommended!
• Voyage44302817492 (2/5): Owner should spend some money - Disappointing Stay – Needs Serious Improvement I was very disappointed with the overall cleanliness and condition of the hotel. The kettle in the room was rusty and extremely old – definitely not suitable for use. The vanity sink was clogged and did not drain properly, which was quite inconvenient. Housekeeping was clearly lacking; the floor was never swept, and there was hair everywhere. The cleanliness standard was far below acceptable. In the lobby, the leather sofa was torn and worn out, giving a very poor first impression. This place needs some investment and better cleaning staff. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until improvements are made.

L'accueil c'est très bien passé, l'appartement était très spacieux, les salles communes et propre et avait de bon équipement pour nous occuper. La clim dans la chambre était un luxe suite a notre expérience de la nuit dernière dans un autre hôtel.

• jarisial (4/5): Do not recommend at all - The hotel room was not at all like they deceived online. Looks more like a dorm room with bad lighting. The floor on which they put us in had a horrible stench, and when we went down to tell them they said they were unaware of any complaints (I believe that was because we were the only ones of the floor) and that they would schedule for someone to check it out the next day! One of the beds had a broken frame, the phone in the room didn’t work, and the elevator was working sometimes. And there were ants everywhere!! Mind you, we only stayed 1 night as I have family members with health conditions. Never spoke with management even though I reached out multiple times, the front desk staff was not helpful and they tried to charge me for all 5 nights!!

• Richard (8/5): - Wish I could give 5 stars, but without the air conditioning that was advertised, it is only 4 star. Be warned, air conditioning is in lobby, not in room. Even at 28 degrees celsius, they would not provide A/C to the room. Very very hot in room, no screen if you open windows for fresher air and lots of fireworks happening. (Yay Paris football championship!) Aside from that, FANTASTIC place, service and location. Would definitely stay here again if they did in fact provide A/C in rooms. Call ahead. Metro and bus very close and easy to navigate with app. Free snacks, water and coffee provided in lobby. Coffee was really good. Croc place across the street and Thai/Vietnamese restaurant just a couple blocks down the street, fantastic and very reasonably priced. Friendly staff.

Je sais que c'est courant à Paris, mais un peu de place pour la jambe, cc'est bien aussi. - aucune séparation entre la douche et le reste de la SDB. C'est joli, c'est sur, mais absolument pas pratique compte tenu de la position du tuyau.. on se retrouve à inonder la sdb. - j'aurai préféré une vraie table de chevet plutôt qu'un tabouret - enfin, la salle de petit déjeuner est très petite et il est difficile de circuler même à moitié pleine... Pour le reste, le service était bien et la chambre propre et pas trop bruyante (mais au 8e, c'est assez "normal")
• 833renitaa (8/5): Location and service - Good hotel in a location that is close to a metro station that runs to all the main tourist sites. Some nice restaurants in the area. The hotel itself had all the amenities and served a good breakfast with great service. The front desk was always available and helpful. There was always coffee and drinks available in the lobby for free and they served treats at a certain time every day. The family room we stayed in was spacious but definitely needs some much needed renovations especially a fresh coat of paint. The toilet seat was definitely broken as it moved around when you sat on it and the basin tap was loose. It was quite difficult getting into and out of the bath tub to shower as the space was very tight in the bathroom. Overall, was good stay but I wouldn’t book there again.

With 24/7 free hot drinks machine in tbe reception.Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily. With free buns and snacks too. Airconditioned. Many places to eat nearby.
• Paul (6/5): Refreshed Comfort inn, not more - Reading reviews did help afterall, as it’s really a little hipiffied renovated Comfort inn! Although the front desk lady was very friendly, the first doors front were in bad shape, the elevator smeery, then in my room quite some things broken or very flimsy. The room was large and everything quite clean, and it didn’t feel bad, although too much cleaning chemical smell, which went away when opened window. But there was mold in the shower and the bathroom was just badly renovated and painted to cover the old hotel. In my range of Paris this would get a 7,5 at most, just because the room and bed were clean, but the state and bathroom def bring the score down.

Our room was spacious and well arranged, great location close to the river, metro, with lots of cute places for food and drink. Little extras like water fountain with sparkling water option and snacks and cakes after lunch time were just adding to the appeal.

In addition, the reception area was very comfortable and has a coffee machine and water dispenser which can be used at any time. The room was spacious and tidy. However, there were stains on the towels and bedsheets which was why there is a lower cleanliness score.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - We did have a good stay at this hotel, rooms were darker at night as the main lightning wasn't too bright, the only downside was we had ants in the room for the few days we stayed in expect for the last day (we had sprayed disinfectant around the room each night). Normally I wouldn't check under the bed but as there was ants I looked around but it was quite dusty underneath. Did notifiy the reception who offered another room and made a note on our room. One day I did leave a tissue with ants on it so they could see it, but it just got brushed to the corner with the corner table pushed against it so you couldn't see it was still there. Reception staff were brilliant though, and they have a snack station in the afternoon and coffee and water machine to use throughout the day! Great location for transport and a supermarket close by and minimart opposite. Would stay again though and recommended for the location.

• mdlorenzo27 (8/5): Good stay in Paris South - Conveniently located near a metro/train station so it was easy to get around the city. 3 person room was large for Paris standards and was very comfortable. The bathroom was small but that is to be expected within Paris. This hotel used to be a Quality Suites (?) before becoming Hotel Sanso; rooms were renovated slightly since then but layouts are the same.

• Jonathan (8/5): Good value for money - Great location next to the metro. We had a quadruple room at the front and we could hear the traffic quite loudly but didn’t disturb our sleep
• Georgina (10/5): - Hotel was nice to stay at. Staff were really kind and helpful. Transport is good easy to get to popular areas in France such as the Eiffel Tower. The only bad thing I would say is the security, lifts should only be accessible to visitors and entry with Key card like other hotels. Random people can walk in and use the lifts.

The room was very spacious and comfortable for a family with all the facilities needed. We were offered free tea and coffee in the reception area which was a very nice touch. When checking out we asked if we could leave our luggage whilst we spent our last day in the city which they catered for excellently, they gave us a ticket to bring back to collect our luggage which we thought was a great idea for keeping peoples luggage secure. The hotel is in a great location for public transport with both the bus and metro station only a couple of mins walk. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting paris and will use the hotel again if we return in the future

Metro and buses are available nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free coffee and water refill station in the lobby is a nice attention. Overall very satisfied with this stay.

• Diara Jepris (2/5): - This place has a serious bed bug problem! We noticed small bites we mistook for mosquitoes but when checking out in the early morning hours, we saw several under all our sheets!! We reported it immediately to the front desk attendant who was nice but older and ill-equipped to handle the situation. We emailed the images and video to the hotel as instructed but no response at all. I’m sending the issue to corporate.

• Nicolas (8/5): Bon rapport qualité-prix - J'ai pris une chambre tripe. La Chambre était très spacieuse et propre. Literie très bien. Salle de bain propre et en bon état, mais la douche est un peu petite avec un rideau de douche ce qui rend son utilisation pas très pratique. Je n'ai pas testé le petit déjeuner, mais son prix à l'hôtel edt un peu cher : 14€ Par contre si vous reservez directement à partir du site de l'hôtel, c'est moins cher. Je l'ai appris malheureusement qu'à la fin de mon séjour.

• Nordine (2/5): Simplement l'inverse de la Qualité - Accueil horrible. On m a laisse pourrir dans le hall de l hotel de 13h à 15h30. Je n ai eu ma chambre qu a 15h30 a partir du moment ou j ai accepte de prendre une chambre non conforme a ma réservation. Chambre cote route tres bruyante. J ai duaussi debranche le frigo mzid je n ai pas pu debranche la route et la circulation. Le double vitrage n existe pas, les voltes non plus.

Petit plus pour les enfants le baby-foot a l'entrée très apprécié Déco des chambres à refaire éventuellement pour un meilleur aspect. Le petit dejeuner cher pour la prestation malgré un super accueil au petit déjeuner . Un peu bruyant a l'extérieur ( en même temps venant de la campagne c'est peut-être normal) Mais voir pour mieux Insonoriser de l'extérieur !!! Nous reviendrons pour profiter d'un sejour a Paris
• Marie-Aimee (4/5): Avis mécontentement - Absolument catastrophique A l’arrivée on nous a donné une chambre pour 2 alors que j’avais réservé une suite familiale On nous a changé de chambre le soir même pour la bonne chambre La personne a l’accueil semblait à côté de ses pompes Sans réellement d’excuses À noter par ailleurs des odeurs de hashish dans tous le sixième étage Le lendemain soir nous rentrons dans notre chambre : plus aucune affaire On nous explique à l’accueil que la réservation était pour une nuit et non 2, je redonne ma réservation, le nom que la personne avait rentré la veille n’était même pas le mien J’avais pourtant donné mon nom et bien précisé que c’était pour deux nuits. Enfin, la nuit a été assez bruyante, il n’y a aucun a système de sonorisation on entend tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir. Je souhaite obtenir un remboursement ou un avoir.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - We booked a room for 4 as a family. The fist room only had 3 beds and on complaining waited a period of time to be told we would have to have 2 separate rooms and they were not adjoining. Very disappointing
• Verified traveler (6/5): Convenient location but not clean - Found that my blanket was not changed, had a massive yellow stain (trying to upload a photo of it but this app keeps crashing). Showed this to the gentleman at reception and they were shocked and dealt with it straight away. I didn’t get his name, but the same receptionist was also so lovely and helpful. We were in Paris during the metro/train strikes and he helped me find a way to get to our booked activity the next morning. Location is convenient, right next to a station.

• Rikke Johanne (8/5): An OK hotel. - Our stay was overall quite good, however we got a hotel room in first floor, even though we paid extra to have a room that was supposed to overview the city. We also got room next to the eating area, and therefore there was a lot of noise from early in the morning and the worst screaming/singing were actually from the people working in the cafe! Most people spoke very good English, at lest the one in the re reception and the room was clean/nice. But the cleaners forgot to give us our duvet the first day and new towels etc so we always had to go ask for something.The price was also a bit high, but when we talked to the people working there they told us that It would have been cheaper booking through them, so that's something I would recommend to others. They also said that it would not have been a problem to change room if we wanted to, so I would recommend asking for a room further up in the building as well.
